We came in for AYCE lunch at last minute, like last 10min. They let us order during last call and since we love these types of spots we got our usuals. Everything was so delicious and came out fairly quick. Highly recommend.

A quiet, great buffet to relax and enjoy great food. The only thing that I dont like is that they only serve Hibachi for dinner, and not for lunch; they should serve the hibachi options all day, not just at dinner. Most of us would like to have hibachi for lunch and are not able to always attend at dinner. Other than that, everything is great. Servers are nice & attentive. Would recommend.

They pack a LOT of rice, so ask for light rice. The size of the octopus on the skewer is great, but I didnt care for the sweet flavor. The beef skewer was delicious! The amount of fresh, perfectly ripe avocado on the avocado salad was very much appreciated!! I also really like the unagi nigiri. The spicy edamame and wings are not recommendations from me. The shrimp udon was nothing special. The shrimp was small and kind of dry, but at least the udon was not soggy. The sesame balls are delicious, but the Oreo tempura texture seemed to be an old batch. Jun, the manager, and our server provided great customer service. They make me want to come back! (: It seems like the whole team is happy to work together.

Dinner salad w asian ginger dressing, miso soup, spicy garlic edamame, coconut shrimp, hibachi steak (twice), steamed sticky white rice, baby octopus, peppered tuna & surf clam sashimi, various spicy sauces. Impressive, delightful, beautiful, decadent meal. Inviting concept & atmosphere. Everything hot, fresh & cooked to order at my pace. My first visit but definitely not my last.

Sushi Yoto was fantastic, everything on the menu is so delicious and fresh, I have no idea how the chefs are so fast but its amazing. The salmon will have you feeling like a bear that snatched it fresh out of the river! The staff is very friendly and attentive, they made sure we had everything we needed. And if you bring someone thats not fond of sushi, they also have non-sushi options like udon, fried rice, and the super crunchy and tasty tempura. Something for everyone! I dont have any pictures because we ate everything so fast, thats how good it was.

This place is amazing! Such a gem in Pasadena. The fish was fresh and the rolls were creative and delicious. ** Update ** We had a very limited amount of time today, and we really wanted sushi, so we decided to try this place. Now that we have eaten here, I can say that in practically every way, Ohayo Sushi (in Webster) is better. I already outline reasons below from our first attempt, but in addition to those: 1) There are fewer options on the lunch menu here 2) Some of the food was prepared incredibly poorly (such as pot stickers not being browned) 3) The staff was literally unable to tell us what was in a given roll 4) They refused to remove an ingredient (cream cheese) from a roll 5) All of the appetizer plates were wet, which made fried stuff soggy We should have stuck with our original plan, but now we know; if we want all you can eat sushi, go to Ohayo Sushi in Webster ** Original ** We came here for lunch (30 minutes before lunch was over), but we were told that we would either have to order everything in advance (and pay extra if we over ordered), or we would have to pay for the dinner service. Ohayo Sushi in Webster used the time you are sat to determine which menu you get, and which price you pay. To me, that is the superior option. Also, $13 for a 5 year old is ridiculous. Yet another place Ohayo wins. We will just keep going there in the future.

Tried this place on a whim with the GF and I would absolutely come back. Shes not well versed in sushi and the options were explained by Chen who was a wonderful waiter. I wasnt starving and I wish Id come better prepared, but the Fairmont roll and miso were delish. Beef fried rice and Crazy California roll she ordered were equally fantastic.

This place is good for a filling dinner of mediocre sushi with excellent service. They deep fry their fried rolls in advance. We got there at almost nine pm and received a stone cold tiger eye roll (which typically comes out warm). We had two other fried rolls and these were both cold. Sushi is clearly made in advance. However the atmosphere was cute, pricing reasonable and the waitress was very attentive.

I got the All You Can Eat, everything was so good and fresh. The plating is amazing. Our server Anna was very attentive and polite. She is young and her service skills are spot on. The sake menu has good choices. What I really didnt care for is seating at the bar is a second thought. I love to sit at the bar and the host had to move items and get it set up. The bar is their wait station so they keep reaching around us. They were apologetic. That really needs attention. Maybe remove the chairs if you dont want anyone to sit there. But that is the ONLY complaint.

Stopped by here to see what they had to offer for such a good price. I had the all you can eat for $29.95 Its worth it!. If you order two rolls, you might as well get the all you can eat price. Literally you can order anything off the entire menu. I really liked the wings, but they only come 2 at a time so tell them you want four orders to have enough wings at once. This method goes for everything else when ordering. I ordered everything on the menu except the soups ( not kidding). If you order enough food it will come out on a wooden ship like Noahs Ark (pretty cool actually). On the weekends alcoholic beverages are half off, try some cold Saki (its pretty good). Like I said, for the price you cant beat it!

Love love love LOVE this restaurant! Ive been looking for some really good sushi in the Houston area for years, and nothing has come close to sushi yoto! Plus, $30 for all you can eat, anything off the menu cant beat it! Its delicious, the atmosphere is fantastic, the servers are friendly, you can watch the chefs make the sushi if you sit at the bar, they even have a little robot that helps serve sushi sometimes! Every single thing that came out of the kitchen was delicious, the appetizers were great, sushi rolls, and the dessert (I love the tempura Oreos) and the wings were *chefs kiss* 1000/10 experience and I will 100% be coming back again! The food there is good. Its not the best quality sushi for sure, but the whole bang for the buck thing is hard to beat. The service was a little slow, especially for how few patrons were there, but when we did need something, our server was quick to return with our items. The place itself is nice and sleak with touches of japanese style decor. They also have a kitty cat robot that will deliver food to you, my kids are obsessed with it!

Menu includes everything from appetizers to hicachi to sushi to dessert all for under $30. The staff is so friendly and will go out of their way to have a conversation with you and make sure you have the best experience possible. The atmosphere is very comfy and family friendly. The restaurant has a very good layout and is very pleasing to the eye. One of my favorite weekly spots. Its a very nice small place. But be sure to read fine print, make sure you look at all their menus. We were there for lunch and was charged dinner prices. After discussing it with the manager it was adjusted accordingly however the owner initially said no. You pay per portion size ect. Lunch all you can eat is 3 portions of items. I love sushi, and to have this place open so close to home has been great. The food is top notch and just as good as any other place I ve been to around the city. Huge selection but I usually stick to the sushi or sashimi and some takoyaki to round it out. Only thing I would avoid is the booth at the very from of the restaurant because depending on the time of day, the sun is gonna blast you in the eyes.

I m a huge sushi lover, and honestly this place wasn t GREAT. it wasn t terrible but for the price I d rather drive 15 more minutes and go to Ohayo by Baybrook. They don t have as many options for the all you can eat, the rolls I got were flavorless, the apps we asked for were also not great. The fried calamari was very soggy and they were very little, the wings were burned, the coconut shrimp were burned. We had a lot to try and I have never ever sent sushi back but I definitely sent at least 2 rolls back because they were just not good. I m the type to eat raw and cooked sushi and honestly nothing stuck out to me in a good way when it comes to food. Our server was so kind and sweet even when I sent the food back she apologized and was very attentive and interacted with my toddler which is something I adore. The actual restaurant itself was nice and nicely decorated and comfortable the only issue is when walking in it smelt like pickles/vinegar. Tbh I probably won t be back here, I d rather go to ohayo sushi near Baybrook.

If you are craving high quality sushi with fresh cuts of soft buttery fish then Sushi Yoto is the place for you! My bf and I came to try the new AYCE sushi on Fairmont and to celebrate Valentines Day early and we left perfectly satisfied! 8pm on a Saturday night had a 40 minute wait to enter, but heres a tip: If you are a party of 1 or 2 people and ASK TO BE SEATED AT THE BAR then you will skip the line and be seated immediately which we did ;) The interior design inside is very modern and edgy with a hip bar where you can watch the sushi chefs and check out the delicious fish in the display cases. Our food was usually served directly to us at the bar which was super convenient! For the appetizer our faves were spicy garlic edamame, grilled mussels, shumai, and crab puff (appetizers are served in 3 pieces each so dont order too much or you may get full fast). Robata grill fave was the baby octopus. Extremely soft and nice charred flavor. Sushi (fish with rice) or sashimi (just fish) faves were salmon, yellowtail, & white tuna. Dessert faves were sesame seed balls, tempura oreo and green tea ice cream. Our server, Riki, was seriously the best. He always had a genuine smile and very attentive to take our orders no matter how much we ordered he was happy to keep entering them into the iPad. I also loved the spicy garlic oil that goes on the edamame so I asked to take some home and they filled two little containers for me. I was so grateful and we left him a big tip! Total for 2 people came out to $68 without tip. We would come here once or twice a year and 100% invite family and friends. This is the best sushi spot in Pasadena hands down and I see them staying for years to come. PS. Single bathroom only so there may be a wait. Fairly clean. Parking: Huge plaza parking lot with plenty of available spots even on busy weekends. It is free!

I absolutely love Sushi Toyo in Pasadena. So glad they are in the area . I was blown away by the quality of the food. It was EXCEPTIONAL!!! I had 3-4 appetizers (vegetable tempura, jalapeño poppers, grilled octopus), sushi rolls, sashimi, and the super yummy fried Oreos. The restaurant was super clean and the servers were very attentive. The quality of the food here was 10000000/10 better than Ohyao Sushi, which used to be my favorite but now Sushi Yoto has taken over! The food was extremely fresh and came out quickly and had amazing presentation. Server was great as well, the environment of the restaurant was very welcoming and lively, the staff were very friendly as well. I would recommend everyone to try out this AYOC Sushi restaurant it s definitely best in Houston for sure!

A very good choice for all you can eat Japanese style food in Pasadena, TX. I chose the lunch option and was delighted to see a wide variety of Japanese style dishes. The sushi was fresh, the tempura was very crispy and not greasy, the tataki beef was very tender, and the crab puff was filled with cream cheese and crab. The decor was not too busy, but it was relaxing. My only suggestion would be to show other content on the TVs besides news. I would suggest showing travel content.

I visited Sushi Yoto for their dinner all you can eat sushi. Im glad that theres finally a high quality ayce sushi spot close to me in Pasadena. I favor this restaurant over all of the other sushi spots around the area, in terms of both the quality and service. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and would be a nice place to catch up with friends. Everything from the appetizers, sushi, and dessert were spot on. Our sushi came out on a boat too which was a nice surprise! The service is excellent here. The atmosphere is very nice, the calm music they play makes the dining experience so much better. The appetizers are great; especially the gyozas and spicy edamame. We found a flier of this restaurant in our car so we decided to try it out on a weekend . Such a great experience. Fresh tasting sushi!!! Come try it. Doesn t get better than this for AYCE SUSHI. Also my wife is gluten free and they had gluten free soy sauce and accommodated her gluten allergy with the different sushi rolls. I could not be any happier with this place. I had a wonderful experience at sushi yoto the other night. The restaurant has a small, intimate cozy vibe and the servers are very welcoming. We were lucky enough to run across this place on their soft opening, and we found a gold mine in Pasadena! For AYCE sushi, the quality of the sashimi and fish is pretty fresh and still melts in your mouth. The sashimi and nigiri cuts were reasonably portioned and the rolls were pretty good. The shaggy dog is a classic roll as always but they still made it taste good, or better than other places. The establishment is pretty clean and they also serve sake here, which I didn t get to try. The spicy garlic edamame is to die for and it s very rare for AYCE places to have spicy garlic seasoning. Very good! I would definitely check this place out as the price is pretty reasonable for the quality of fish and food served. Unfortunately I don t have any pictures of the food, I was too hungry when it came out. I came from katy to try this!
