BEWARE! Do not go here! I brought my toddler and baby here just now and put my daughter on the tire swing. After just a couple minutes I went to get her down and she was covered in maggots all over her hair and everywhere. So disgusting. After I got her cleaned up I was going to let her go down the slide but it was also covered in maggots. Such tiny maggots. Wouldn t have even noticed if they hadn t already climbed all over her Also I got pooped on by a bird while taking her video. What bad luck. I m so traumatized and grossed out.

Honestly, I always have a fun time coming here, whether that s with friends or with family, there is never a dull moment. Splash pad is open at 10AM and closes around 7PM I m pretty sure. The park is fun, but the wavy slide is kinda dangerous, would not recommend if you re grown and definitely should NOT be playing on the park! The balancing wood thing is fun, really a challenge tho, and then of course the swings and little kid area is amazing. Always a birthday party or two going on here, popular place, and tons of walking areas. Playground: Amazing, fun and interesting. The bigger playground is honestly really high up and may be a danger for clumsy kids like myself.. Toilets: There are two bathrooms off to the side of the playgrounds, although they obviously don t get cleaned up, there is trash on the floors and there are some roaches and spiders in there. Picnic area: Many places to sit, and a great place to bring lunch and make stuff on the barbecue grill.

The flooring in the splashpad has been updated, its no longer slippery and the shooter thing is new. We love the trees around that are partially shading the splashpad.

Trying to visit all the splash pads in our area (DFW) much to the delight of my two 3-year old kids! We stopped at Whites Branch Park on Memorial Day, around 4 pm. There was a party going on in the covered picnic area and looked like they were having fun! The park is set back a bit in a heavily treed area and there s a small splash pad that is operated by a button/timer system. My kids had fun but we probably won t be back - the creek/ravine thing around the edge of the splash pad made this mama nervous that someone might fall and get hurt. Additionally, the water features at the splash pad seemed not to be operating properly. A few of them were so highly pressured that my kids yelled ouch! when they stuck their arms in, and several of them spray all the way to the seating areas or walkways around the playground. Not fun to get drenched as the parent just trying to take a seat and keep an eye on the kids. Trash cans were overflowing the day we went (possibly bc of the holiday) and in general the park looked like maybe it s not kept up well. They did have a decent size parking lot and restrooms, but we didn t go in the restroom so I can t comment on that cleanliness. Pretty nice park. A little bit basic. Children under the age of seven will have a great time playing on the equipment. The only reason why I stopped here was because I got a flat on my bike on the way back to the house. Looking around, playground seemed to be well kept. Gazebo with four picnic tables was actually cleaner than the Arcadia Park gazebos which are managed by pid-6. Not bad. Although their bike trails leave little to be desired. Four stars is decent. Playground: In good shape. Decent equipment. Not too exciting for anyone over the age of seven or eight Picnic area: Clean. Trash was not overflowing. Id consider having a birthday party here if it was a low budget scenario for sure.

Nice park and trail. I do wish there was some lights around the playground cause its really dark out there when the sun starts to go down. It also has some pinic tables and grills. Playground: Merry-go-round, tire swing, slide, climbing obstacle, etc

**UPDATE - As of June 23 the tire swing and merry go round are back! Thank you, guys! Our kids had a blast! Please send someone out to pressure wash the splash pad. Children are slipping and hitting their little heads.** This used to be our favorite park. Then Covid hit - 2 years ago. The city took away the tire swing and all other swings at first, then the took the merry go round. STILL havent replaced them. Incredibly disappointed with how Haltom City has maintained this park. Such a shame for all the kids who live in the surrounding neighborhoods. Do better Haltom City!!

I love this park. Ive only walked the shorter path thats visible from the parking lot. It does have a longer path in the wooded area but Im too chicken to walk it by myself lol However, many walkers are there daily and at all times. Does offer bathrooms and a splash pad area during the summer months.

Ok, so I rate this place 3 stars overall because it was not clean, but that may have just been when I went. I think that the actual park and the trails and the sights to see here are lovely and I enjoyed my time here (I went for photography reasons). I got some wonderful moody shots in the morning light. I will be revisiting this place for this reason. When I went it looked like there had been some light flooding, because there was trash absolutely everywhere. I think if this place was cleaned it would be 5/5. If anyone is curious, the picture attached it taken with an infrared filter, the Kolari IR Chrome.

Half of the park is broken and the splash pad puddles so badly that it causes slippery algae. The playground is not for toddlers. Even thr slide is way too big and there is only one. The splash pad is not in yhe safest location either in my opinion. No fencing to keep kids from falling down the sloped ditches.

Great little splash pad for all ages! A good amount of shade which is super nice but you have to claim your spot quick lol I took my 1, 2 and 7 year old and they loved it. Only concern is a slippery floor (which a city worker said theyre trying to resolve but the budget isnt quite there). There is a sign there that tells you its closed on Tuesdays to the public but I didnt find that info anywhere else online. I definitely may have overlooked that but just a heads up. Clean, shady and spacious. So above all we will be back!

Walking distance away. Love the splash pad. I would like to see the splash pad drainage issue fixed. Water builds up on the sidewalk and gets stuck there, causing it to get slimy and slippery. Also a few of the park playground needs to be repaired. The merry-go-round is taped off.. Overall though I still come here. Just watch out for the slippery parts of the sidewalk.

Our favorite thing is the splash pad. The park itself is nice and there are different climbing and play equipment here than some of the other local parks. However, the splashpad needs scraped and washed off its really slick and it probably needs resurfaced. Other than that, we really enjoy it. The kids enjoy it. When we visited the were police in the area talking to kids which was nice.

We really like coming to this park because theres a playground and the splash pad side by side. Theres also a large field for those whod like to kick ball around or play volleyball. There are very clean bathrooms on site.

Truck got broken into within ten mins of being at this splash park, city employee yelled at me for leaving the glass as if I had a broom and dustpan to clean it up or was going to pick it up with my bare hands. Cameras were facing the parking lot and city did not check the footage nor did the police do anything on the case.
