Perfect cafe. Clean, friendly, efficient, and great food. Incredibly kind and smart service. Kindness radiates, and I appreciate a staff that is capable of working smartly together. Their coffee was a big hit with me. I find most restaurant cafés, their coffee is generic or overbrewed. Ill drink it all the same, no complaints or comments, but its just really nice to get such a nice cup of coffee that I need to mention it. I get the impression that theyve mastered a lot of basics. Loved their seating options. They had high booths, regular booths, high tables, regular tables, and a counter area, which is my favorite. Their menu options are exactly what you want from this type of restaurant. They have direct and simple breakfasts, and they have enough variety to keep you interested. Also, do you have any idea how difficult it is to find a restaurant with a hashbrown bowl? Let alone a good one? They won me over when they had hobo skillet that came with two eggs on top. Quality corned beef hash is also a difficult find and they have that too. Pancakes and crepes. Good ones, too. And wouldnt you know it, just for the millennials, they also have avocado toast. The entire menu is a win. Steak. Eggs Benedict. Oatmeal. Wraps and sandwiches. This is the go-to place for breakfast and lunch.

Disappointed. I had an eggs Benedict that had avocado on it. When I realized the avocado was black I stopped eating it. The server didn t check up on us at all until the very end of the meal. When I showed her she basically told me I should have noticed it earlier. Even if I had noticed it when I got the food she didn t check on our table until after my husband finished his food so I don t know what she wanted me to do? Walk it back to the kitchen myself? Not impressed. Yes I was forced to pay for the meal I didn t get to finish eating. I am pregnant so I was still hungry after leaving here. Had to go somewhere else to eat.

Absolutely delicious! First time here and the food was hot and fresh. The Turkey BLT and Chicken wrap is the best around. Nick was so attentive and helpful with the menu, ask for him! Will definitely be back even though we live a distance away. Worth the trip!

This was the best breakfast I have had in quite a while. The hollandaise sauce was, by far, the best Ive ever had. I consider myself a bit of a breakfast snob because I grew up in a family who would eat breakfast for any meal of the day. This spot was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend!

I had an amazing breakfast today at Sofra Breakfast! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the chicken carnitas skillet I ordered. It was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The service was outstanding as well Sofia was extremely polite and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place for a great meal and excellent service!

The best breakfast place in Allen in my opinion. Albanian themed breakfast spot with other Baltic influences. The food is always hot and delicious. The hashbrowns are not soggy but crispy and tasty, the service is A1. Will be back. I ve tried two steak breakfast options. Steak Benny and the steak and eggs. Both very filling and memorable. Coffee is fresh which I loved.

Restaurant very clean, food and service were good, prices a little on the high side, but I ve never been to a restaurant in my life where you order a salad as an entree or as a side, and they charge you an extra ($0.99) for the dressing. I can understand a charge if I ordered extra dressing, but this charge was for the original dressing. Just include original dressing cost in the price of the salad to avoid any confusion. Very few people order a salad without dressing.

I was here last Sunday and everything was fantastic. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. They all helped each other out and the prices were very good compared to other brunch restaurants. I did wait a little for my food but it was worth the wait! I recommend this place for anyone who wants to have brunch in Allen! Wheelchair accessibility: While I was dining, I looked outside and they have a ramp for wheelchairs!

I would have given it a five star, but I found a piece of plastic in my crepe dish, and ended up paying for it. We tried Strawberry Cream Cheese Crepe, French Benny, and Albanian omelette. They were all pretty good, though the portion was a little small for the price, compared to other cafe in the area. Service was good and no wait at all. Overall, this Albanian cafe is not bad if you are tired of waiting for Saturday brunch and want to try something slightly different.

What a gem! We had brunch and it was amazing. My son has a food allergy and that knocks out a lot of restaurants, especially for brunch. They went above and beyond to accommodate, which helped us all relax and enjoy. Food was delicious. Whatever you order, get it with a side of hashbrowns. They are chef s kiss. Our server Nate was so kind and attentive. We ll definitely be back again and again.

We wanted to try a new breakfast place out near home and saw good reviews for this place. Came here for late breakfast on a Saturday around 10 and there was no wait. The food was average, we got Oreo pancakes for the kids and the cinnamon roll French toast. The Oreo pancakes was a large portion size but the cinnamon French toast was so small. We thought the place was over priced for what we got. We didn t get any but for one piece of bacon it was almost $5 for one! A cup of fresh OJ was almost $8! Glad we checked it out but we will stick with Fairview farmers for breakfast.

I found this place online. I am glad I did! I had the Mediterranean Skillet. It was a special and not on the menu. It was excellent. The food was prepared and brought to the table within 8 minutes of ordering. This was awesome since we were on a bit if a schedule. Everything was cooked to perfection. Great service to match. Prices within reason and hours compatible with the traveling crowd. I suggest going as soon as the establishment opens for business (7am). Food was decent, but so are the 10 other brunch places in Allen. Our server was attentive and super friendly. She even offered a to-go water on a hot summer day. Five stars for that. However, Id not be returning because of how expensive they are. Kids breakfast plate is $10 (Holly smoke!) and an Oj is $8 (normal cup size. Dang!). Seriously they probably have the most expensive kids meals, even in comparison to upscale restaurants.

While staying at a nearby hotel my boyfriend and I visited this place for breakfast twice in a row. Both days the service was awesome and the food was delicious and perfectly made to our requests. The staff was very friendly and on top of refills and willing to make suggestions. I believe that they would do their best to assure that dietary restrictions were accomodted and are knowledgeable enough about the menu to make suggestions. They have a wide variety of options to suit most preferences. They have a handicap ramp on the side of the building. The front entrance has few steps up to the front door. Seating inside would accommodate anyone. Overall we both highly recommend this restaurant.

Overall was a pretty mediocre meal. The food was fine but was quite lackluster and relatively small portion sizes. The chicken on the chicken and waffles was thin and bland and the maple syrup tasted cheap. The skillet plates didn t come in a skillet and the pancakes were thin. The bacon had an oddly fake grill/smoke flavor. It would ve been fine if the prices were cheap, but there are plenty of other better options for the price point.

Went in on a Saturday about 9:30 party of 1. Walked in got seated quickly. Sat there for about 15 mins no acknowledgement from any servers mind you there were 4 servers standing there no one came to the the table to even ask me what kind of drink I would like mind you the whole restaurant was empty but two couples in there. i quite literally don t have enough good things to say about this place. one of the best breakfasts i ve ever had in my life!!!!! first of all, the interior is beautiful and bright. the staff is super super friendly. the host welcomed us in with the sweetest attitude and our server, Jihane, was top notch. She s so bubbly and welcoming and her approach was so fun. ASK FOR JIHANE!!!!!! the best server i ve had. the owner Lena is so wonderful and kind! she came by to say hello and just made us feel so comfortable. everyone there is a gem and their food is AMAZING!!!! my sister and i got their breakfast skillets and my mom got the salmon salad. what an amazing experience. i m only in dallas for 3 days but best believe im coming back every morning till i leave. do not forget to try their desserts! raspberry cheesecake and tiramisu made by Rashida i ve never had better. Bad service and over priced. after taking our order, server never stopped by to refill water or coffee. They walked right by our table several times completely ignoring us even though we tried to make contact. Food was ok but smaller portion than you would expect at many other similar places and many usual side items are not offered. so you really dont get what you pay for in terms of value. Good luck to them but it was our first and last visit. Waiter even acknowledged how bad she messed up when I reminded her how she forgot to serve us. And did nothing. Just complete ignorance.

My family and I visited Sofra Breakfast and Lunch for the first time this week and I must say I am impressed. Starting with the attention to detail in the decor of the place, the spotless tables and restrooms, followed by the friendliness of everyone we interacted with. And then the food it was presented so beautifully and it was super tasty. I tried the mediterranean dish and loved it. I could not resist the apple pecan french toast and cinnamon roll french toast (my favorite). I also loved (but got so excited that I forgot to take a picture) the biscuits and gravy breakfast. I have already been there three times and can t wait to come back.

Omelette and the taste was amazing, it melted in your mouth, highly recommended. Their chicken is Halal as per the server. Food was decent, lots of choices, but portion sizes for the price were a bit small in my opinion. The Albanian omelette was delicious, I d recommend trying it if you like feta cheese, but my husband wound up ordering a whole second omelette because it was rather small. My daughter, that barely eats, wound up needing more eggs after she got her crepe and egg. The kids Mickey pancake is $9.99 and then charged another $4 for an apple juice. Overall our party of 4 cost over $100 to feed. It just felt a little high for what we got. They were all very nice people, but we were waiting a bit for different things throughout the course of the meal. Women s restroom needed a little more attention to cleaning. Things that would be great to see in there would be hooks on the stall doors for purses/diaper bags/coats. Also need an open top trash can by the door for people who use a paper towel to open the door and leave.

Dined here on Sunday, May 5th. We were a party of four and quickly seated. Waiter and hostess were both nice and everything was going good for a while until we realized other people were getting food before us. Nearly an hour later, and only after inquiring about our food, we received our order. The pancakes were undercooked, eggs were either under cooked or over cooked. The omelette was definitely not an omelet. The Iron Man was clearly runny, had maybe 3 leaves of spinach and no feta cheese. Runny egg whites are repulsive and can absolutely cause health issues. This needs to be managed. We waited another good ten minutes for the owner/ manager to come speak to us. In which case, she was completely rude and went as far as telling us that we dont own a business, so we dont know what it is like. She doesn t know us. She doesn t know that we may very well own a business. Furthermore, she insisted that her customers like the food the way it was presented to us (undercooked). Who speaks/shouts at their customers like that!? Her attitude towards people who are dissatisfied in any manner is what will bring this place down. There are simply better ways to handle things like this. Upon reading her response to other negative comments, anyone can see she makes it a point to degrade others. Had we not been wearing a hijab, our beliefs would not have even been brought up. I m not sure if the business owners are Muslim, but this was so wrong to even bring up in a review response! Clearly, her care is about the money for food which was sub par and mostly untouched. The waiter - yes, he definitely deserves a tip especially with how he is running around trying to handle a full restaurant. We really only saw him running around taking orders. Perhaps, hire more people to lighten his load so he can properly serve a table, or close down until you can actually service a full house.

My friends and I (party of 4) were seated quickly and ordered just as quick but our food took about 45 min to come. Once our food came it was disappointing and different from what we had ordered. Omelette was not an omelette it was over cooked scramble eggs, pancakes were under cooked and the iron man meal was eggs undercooked (raw). The egg benedict did not come as ordered. We sent for the manager twice, finally the owner came and we explained the issues the owner was very condescending and rude. I do not recommend this place.

I ordered The Canadian Bacon Benedict without the bacon, which came in English Muffins . It came with a side of hashbrowns or grits. I asked for it to be replaced with toast. Eggs came on the toast with no English muffins in sight. My friend ordered The Iron Man breakfast. It literally looked like someone vomited on her plate. My other friend ordered an omelette and received runny scrambled eggs with cheese on top. And finally the last friend ordered pancakes that were raw in the middle. After requesting to speak to the manager .,she sent the owner over. The owner greeted us politely but when we tried to explain what the issues were she quickly switched her tone and became defensive and condescending. She told us we don t know what it s like to run a restaurant. Its not easy feeding 150 people all at the same time. That the quality of her food is what customers really enjoy and ask for. After she offered to remake the food that we waited 45 minutes for we refused and walked out. I have never been spoken to in that manner. Never apologized. Only told us that the restaurant is only 7 months old and would run like this because it s new. I do not recommend. Stay Away!

Really cool place to get brunch at!! They had a greatly great selection of food to choose from. The staff is super friendly and the place is really clean. I got the Mexican Skillet and it was delicious. My wife goes the crapes and the pancakes were good as well. My daughter loves the owner as she is nice and comes and says hi to everyone. This is my favorite brunch/breakfast spot in Allen. My two favorite dishes are the Mediterranean Skillet and the Balkan Crepes. The Mediterranean Skillet is not on the menu but usually a featured dish. I beg y all to please put it on there officially, mostly so I can order via the to-go menu. This is so good. It s got the usual Mediterranean flavors along with the Albanian sausage that just hits just right with the eggs and feta and the crunch of the hash browns. The Balkan crepes have a biscuit crumble on them with Nutella. They are bomb too. Portion sizes are big! You might as well bring your own to-go box! Also the coffee is pretty decent. I m picky with coffee so the fact I even order it here should say a lot. Service is great as well! I d love to hear more on the family story. There are lots of photos all over and I m wondering how much belongs to the family who owns the restaurant. It s very cool and love that they are bringing that all into the food.

I am a former DFW chef you will not find better service at any other place in the metroplex. Everyone is extremely kind and attentive. Amazing first dine here. Owners were warm and welcoming. Food portions were well within reason for the price. Presentation was adorable and the flavor was incredible! The omelette was amazing and the cappuccino French toast had just the right amount of coffee flavor to it. We were lucky and got to sample some of the sausage, which was stellar, and the fresh orange juice, which reminded me of my childhood when I had fresh citrus in my backyard. Simply incredible experience. We split the cinnamon French toast, fresh berry French toast, and Banana Nutella crepes with 2 sides of bacon (3 pieces per side). Best breakfast Ive had in a LONG time! I was thrilled to discover this fantastic new breakfast and lunch spot just up the street from my office and convenient to 75. The restaurant has great seating options, including a bar, booths, and tables. The place is airy and hip, and I was greeted and seated with chill charm. Their coffee is positively top-notch and will satisfy any coffee enthusiast, from commuter to snob. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with a side salad. It far exceeded my expectations. Pretty much everything about the wrap was awesome. The slightly toasted tortilla, the field greens, and whatever that incredible buffalo sauce recipe is. Wow. The side salad was fresh and crisp, which I enjoyed with olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. The dish was priced well within expectations for an accessible but charming lunch spot. I dont know many restaurants nearby that I can be confident in great flavor in every dish. I will be returning often.

Garys review is accurate (and Im not related to him)! Delicious meals, quick service. The wait staff is awesome.. best my wife & I have ever experienced; even better than The Mansion on Turtle Creek dining room. When I mentioned to our waiter Nick, that the dish my wife was having was going to be my second choice, he brought by a couple small plates for us so we could share with each other. The veggie burger is a huge waste of $17. Menu said it came with a veggie patty but mine only had some crumbly hashbrowns, one tomato, and a piece of lettuce. The bread was super yummy which was good because that was all I could taste. Fries were bland. When I questioned the server about the lack of anything in this burger he just said, they used to use the impossible burger and he d let the kitchen know . He didn t rectify my problem at all. WHAT A DISCOVERY - With all the competition in the breakfast and lunch market, this one is a treasure found. The food was incredible, the greatest sunny side up eggs I have had in a very long time. Our omelet was excellent and so were the grits. Ill pass on the chicken fried steak for future visits because the meat was very chewy and the portions of both the steak and the hash browns were small considering the $16 price. Moreover, our particular table was wobbly, but that is an easy fix for the staff to rectify. Best part of our visit was Nick, who took our needing to be in a hurry very seriously. He kept us informed of where our order was in the kitchens queue, expedited the bill, and offered to prepare a coffee to-go so we could finish our meal on time. Another plus was that the to-go coffee cup and sleeve were both made from recycled paper. Really impressed that they dont use styrofoam, at least for taking away beverages.

I know this cafe has wonderful reviews, but our service (in particular) was not up to par. We were seated quickly (Sunday @ 11.50am), but it took a long time for someone to come to our table, and then another long wait for our drinks and to place an order. We ordered really basic items, but it took 40-50 minutes (from the time we entered) to receive our food. There were two bigger parties ahead of us, but I had to wonder if they had a tiny kitchen. No one bothered to come by and even offer an acknowledgment that food was taking a long time to come out of the kitchen. The food was fine. I appreciate that they have a senior or smaller portion available for breakfast. The bacon was the best!! The sausage gravy was interesting - it had some white lumps in it - which may have been cauliflower or something to thicken the gravy (it wasnt bad; it just caught me off guard). Were trying out a variety of breakfast restaurants, so well try it again later to see if theres a different result.

Sunday We came back today to try lunch. Our server was Chase. Very attentive and helpful. Tried the Reuben for lunch. The sandwich was great. Meat was sliced thin the way it is supposed to be. (Many places have thicker cuts, and you can not bite through) it was perfect and piled high. I am a New Yorker, and we know our Reubens. The service and food were perfect. I love a good skillet, and Sofras is on point! I also got a biscuit so I could ask and try their sausage gravy. It tastes like my homemade gravy. Usually the biscuits and gravy at most restaurants are dry and tasteless but this is probably one of the best Ive had in the area. The portion of the skillet was great too. I was just too full from scarfing down the biscuit and gravy that I didnt have enough room to finish the skillet. I cant wait until they get a liquor license so we can enjoy mimosas with our brunch! Tried a wonderful new restaurant for my Tuesdays with Mason breakfast. It s Albanian owned and operated in Allen, Texas. The service was stellar and the food was delicious and a great music loop. I was conversing with the kind owner and asked her if she knew of a place nearby to get a good Turkish coffee. Although it s not a menu item, her eyes lit up at my request and she offered to make me one from her personal stash and even served it in a beautiful cup that she brought from Kosovo.
