Worst Applebees location ever. We got there and stood at the front for a good while until someone finally showed up to seat us. Our server seemed like he was under the influence or something, slurring his words and not comprehending what we were trying to order. 45 minutes later the food finally arrives, cold and sloppy. Idk what s up with this location and not to mention the manager has no idea how to run the place. Shut this place down

I would have given this a higher rating, yet we ate our meal then left, and when we came back for drinks, the second server totally....was not good at his job, nor did he care... (crash out in the making) Nicole was our first server kind friendly, attentive, vigilant she was honest and let us know when she was unaware of something, and then she immediately got us the correct information right away (I wanted to order food for my service dog yet off the kids menu.) She was awesome . Then when we came back we got some yn that told us the very same drink we ordered with Nicole they no longer served...not that they didnt have the ingredients yet they dont make it any more (Blue Aloha Mana Margarita) he didnt even ask what we wanted instead he just brought some random red drink to the table then the charged me incorrectly causing and up charge I didnt ask for, his attitude was that of a child doing his siblings chores while their free to play. He had this card thing dangling and swinging about hitting into things... clearly, he didnt care....I could say more yet I think we all get it.

Visiting Applebees felt like stepping into an episode of Cheers. The warm, welcoming atmosphere instantly made me feel at home, just like the iconic bar from the show. The staff was friendly, greeting regulars by name and engaging in lively conversations with everyone. The food was comforting and familiar, much like the setting, with classic dishes that hit the spot. It was the kind of place where you could relax, unwind, and enjoy good company. If youre looking for a neighborhood spot where everybody knows your name, this Applebees is definitely the place to be if Im ever back in that part of Texas Ill definitely be back

The food was good. We just ordered appetizers, wonton tacos and nachos, and drinks. Our waiter needed some more training. We were told they were cleaning the soda machine. The food arrived before our drinks did. I asked for water at least until they could bring the drinks. Never received the water and was told the drinks should be right out. When it was time to get the check, the waiter explained that our ticket was given to another customer. I was never given a receipt but paid what they said I owed. (I remembered the prices of what we ordered, so it was correct or I wouldnt have paid). It was not crowded, so Im not sure why any of this could be an issue.

My friends and I went to this Applebee s location on 7/5/24, where we were being served and everything was fine. The waiter (forgot his name) we had was intoxicated and he kept forgetting the things we ordered and asked for. Upon waiting for the check so we can leave the establishment the female bartender made a comment like We want to go home but we were waiting on our ticket so that we COULD leave. After that, the black male security guard became very rude and nasty towards us. He started calling us black b words, and I hate ghetto b words and he also got physical and put his hands on 2 of my friends. We were not causing any commotion or causing any problems. This is unacceptable.

If I could, I will give them no stars for today. The management was very rude. When we came to let her know that there was hair in our order at already having to have them fix the order because there was a mixup with the food. our servant was only on his third day of training and she belittled him and yelled at him for something he did not know and they did not train him about. We dealt with false advertisements because when we asked the question there was no type of answer about the question so we ended up getting charged extra due to lack of communication from management. He was unaware of and we let them know where your advertised and said this and y all haven t now on the fine print to clear up any confusing on the base off of the picture. If this is how your management trained that is very shameful on your business, nor did she have the right to sit there and yell and belittle our server for not properly training him.

Really disappointing. Sitting at bar. Ordered to go order. Not offered water. Not offered drink. I would have bought a drink. Not more than four people in the whole place. Its no wonder with service like this. You should take time to acknowledge people that actually show up in the place. The first bartender took my order never spoke to me again till she handed me food. Second employee came into the bar and then a third into the bar area. They all spoke to each other but again no one bothered to see if I wanted anything. I actually generally tip very well. Im sure all three will talk about me now because I did not leave the tip. Spent $35.

Worst Applebees ever. We have been going to various Applebees for a long time. Today was Mothers Day, and everywhere was packed, except Applebees. We got seated right away as the restaurant was maybe 1/3 full...on Mothers Day. We were quick to learn why. The waiter finally came over and took our drink order. Then he took our dinner order. No apps ordered. We really wanted to get in and out quick, but that didnt happen. As we waited for dinner, we noticed the ceiling had gotten wet from the rain leaking through the roof, and they had to section off the area. Several more people came in. Then we noticed all the customers that came in after us got served, and we were still waiting, so I went to go ask someone about our order because our waiter never came back to the table to check on us. They said it would be just a minute. They had made a mistake. Seriously, we only ordered a salad and fish and chips, how hard is that. Took an hour and 20+ minutes to get our food. Someone who came in 40 minutes after us got served and left before we even got our food. The waiter was too busy talking to certain guests he must have known and was dancing, etc. Its fine to have fun while working, but you still need to take care of your guests. When we got our food, he brought to the table and said nice fresh hot fries. I thought to myself they better be after that wait, but the fish was so soggy on one side, May have double dipped. The salad was so soggy with the dressing that it had to be sitting there for a while, probably because the waiter was too busy with the other guests. We never got any apology from anyone, never even saw the manager except a quick walk into lobby from kitchen then ducked back into kitchen. No offer of any discount or anything. Just put a check on the table and walked away. When he returned with the card, he did say, Have a nice night. Now I am usually a great tipper and give at least 20%, but they deserved nothing today, but being in the industry myself, I know they work for tips so he got 15% which is probably more than he deserved for what was the worst service Ive received in a restaurant for at least the last 10+ years. Usually, I dont do this, but I highly highly recommend that if you want to eat at Applebees, find a different location. Applebees as a restaurant is not bad and generally good, but please dont eat at this location. I didnt even take pictures, because I was too frustrated and they were not picture worthy plates. Its not worth it, and you will regret it. The company really needs to look into this store and do an overhaul.

went in to get a couple drinks with me friends last night and was waiting at the door for 10 minutes. cocktail server walked past us multiple times and ignored us until a girl asked him should we do a 20 minute wait? she he goes yeah but it doesnt matter theyre going over there and pointed to the dining area. we wanted to sit in cocktail because we were primarily drinking. there were about 5 tables in the whole restaurant, three of them being the cocktail servers tables. he still didnt have the decency to acknowledge us in any way and she walked away. we used to come in 2-3 times a week to get drinks after work because we all work at restaurants as well and know how it is. we took our business to applebees on cooper in arlington and had a much better experience. this applebees has went down the drain since aaron and jay left. i wouldnt recommend this place to anyone and i wont be back. if you cant serve more than 3 tables at once you should find another job and thats coming from a bartender/server.

We went there to celebrate and I chose 4 cheese mac and cheese with the chicken on top . The presentation was nonexistent. The noodles were overcooked. There was no cheese, the bacon was in one spot. The chicken tasted like it was out the bag and drenched in syrup. It was sooooo disgusting, it made my stomach hurt and I just couldnt eat it. I ordered a salad to replace it but was scared to eat it. I remember why we stopped eating there 20 years ago. Never again.

Got there ordered drinks, appetizer , and food took about an hour for appetizer and 2 hours for food ordered 2 double hamburgers and a 8oz steak burgers was very greasy and steak had a burnt scorched taste server never came back to fill water glasses at all and ask for ticket to go we got charged wrong table which was cheaper but trying do the right thing made server aware of it and he said it s nothing he could do about it other than do a charge back which take 3-4 business days to go back on my card then instead of them deducting the total from the wrong bill I paid server said he couldn t do that so was asked for a manager a lady by the name of Paige said she was acting manager and there was no other manager and she had charge the card for my bill and she couldn t deduct the wrong price which already came off my card so I had to pay the other table (wrong bill) and the correct bill which was over $90 was not happy at all bad customer service and bad management

Went to this bees but i had to drive around for about 20 minutes because the spots for curbside orders were taken. Thats 7 spots. None of these individuals were in their vehicles, so Im assuming they are inside eating. Not ordering curbside. Now these spots have signs indicating you cant park there no more than 10 mins. I called inside but the lady answering the phone appeared to not give a damn so thats what led to me giving my review. Now i have an issue with this because i do curbside pickup a lot with other restaurants and none. I mean NONE of them allow individuals whether they are customers or not, to occupy those spots unless they are picking up. I will not be back to this one. Arlington is better for curbside pickup. Oh by the way my food was not ready . It was suppose to be ready at 7:49 and Im still in the parking lot. Its 7:56.

Great dining in experience. Our server Simone is very talented at what she does and very friendly. We would like to thank our host for welcoming its and seating us with courtesy. I recently left this restaurant having lunch with friends . I had the pleasure of having Ashley as a server, her service was amazing ! But later on in the lunch date , the manager proceeds to come to the table to take my straw out of my cup with her bare hands . This was very disgusting and inappropriate. She didn t tell me why or anything. I am very unhappy with the service of the manager at this Applebees .

I would give it a 0. The manager white male in a blue polo rushed us out of our table asking if we are only getting waters that they need this table. We had been waiting for the server to come back around and we already had a tab with other items. He had an attitude the entire conversation. Don t waste your time here cus they ll just rush you out before you get an order in.

Management is horrible, I do not understand how they got the position. We waited an hour and a half for our food to come out and it was like it was taken out the fridge. We weren t offered anything in replacement, not even a discount. The white old manager also had the audacity to give us attitude because we asked for a fresh meal . They still made us pay even after not eating . Never eating here again . -1000

I didnt really get a lot of pictures while dining here, but I mean, come on, its Applebees, everyone has been here at least once in their life They are widely known for their drinks and a place to go when the football game is on TV. My husband had fish & chips (fries) and really liked it. I had the 3 cheese chicken penne pasta which wasnt all that great, but the fried bread stick that came with it was amazing For dessert we shared the butter pecan blondie which is pictured below. This was simply divine Our server was very nice and attentive and the restaurant was clean. If I had to pick my favorite food item from Applebees, it would be the whisky bacon burger I normally order that whenever I dine here, but I decided to branch out of my comfort zone and try something new which kind of disappointed me. Oh well, its okay

They gave us the wrong combo appetizer, we ordered hot wings and received garlic parmesan, ordered pretzels with beer cheese dip and got cold gravy and honey mustard, and our entrees came out 1 minute after our appetizers, without silverware of course. The bartender was not attentive and just slammed drinks down and walked away after coming from the back still chewing on food. The manager saw we got the wrong appetizer and instead of engaging us and making it right she hesitated and didn t say a word and went to the pos to fix the order for another guest. Nobody checked on us to see how the food was. The music was so loud you couldn t have a conversation and the people beside us said the music was ghetto which I d have to agree, it was a rap song about committing murder. I ll never go back, this was a horrible experience. And not a single member of the staff greeted us or said thank you or to come back when we were leaving. This is a fair and honest review, before Covid I managed a restaurant and bar and I have to say this is honestly the worst place I ve ever been to in DFW hands down. I was in the service industry for 15 years, trust me If you go here you ll be just as disappointed as we were. They messed up everyone s orders around us too! Just terrible I can t say that enough!

I visited this place after a conference I am in town for. I forgot the young waiters name, but he was tall and slim with locs or something. He was very inattentive except for the table of young girls he kept running to. During his back and forths, he passed my table many times and never stopped to check on me. My alfredo sauce was watery and the restrooms could use some care. I came for the drinks, but did not get a chance to partake.

Amazing Customer Service from Both Cece and Susan. They were both really really nice and they checked on us really well. However, the manager was kinda mean to his staff. I completely understand that one of the tasks of being a manager is to make sure that everybody is doing their job. Kent (Manager caucasian descent and kind of chubby ) was kind of rude to his staff when they were just communicating with their customers. He treated them as if they were just standing around and not doing anything. I was communicating with both Cece and Susan about the items on the menu.Both ladies were actively moving around and doing what they were supposed to be doing the entire duration of us being present. They were just checking their own customers. So I found it extremely inappropriate and disrespectful for him to check his employees in front of the guest (aka. Me and my mother). He came off very temperamental when this took place.Again the customer service was great. However, if you have a problem with something that your employees are doing, then that needs to be discussed back (one on one) not in front of the well being of customers. It s people like that who wonder why places are short staffed and why people don t want to work( I am referring to non-lazy people that genuinely want to work).

We had the pleasure of visiting Applebees Grill + Bar with friends and family and had a pleasant experience. As we were driving up we noticed four handicapped parking spots and they were located in front of the building close to the main entrance. After walking in we were seated within two minutes and the table we were seated at was clean. We received our menus after we were and placed our orders. We had Blackened Salmon which was decent. We do not recall music playing, just people talking and clacking of utensils on plates. Our server was polite and professional. Our Purpose Is Your Blessing

We were served by someone new. The problem was that she got 0 help from anyone (it was her first day) The place was not packed, so someone could have helped her. The host had an annoyed attitude the entire time. They kept forgetting parts of our order. They upcharged a kids meal side dish that is included with the meal (got it fixed before we paid, but manager wanted to insist that it was supposed to be an upcharge, menu showed otherwise).

Just had a meal out here, was delicious. Waitress Linda did a great job tending to us and helping me decide what to order when I got stuck between two choices. Service was horrible. She was rude and took the wrong order. Food was aweful. More fat on steak than meat. Pretty sure the very cold broccoli came from someone elses plate. The au ju sauce was not au ju sauce , was water from a skillet with grease. We just moved to area and have been trying all the restaurants. This place by far has been the worse. We will not ever eat hear again or recommend it to anyone. Nasty, disgusting, just aweful!!!

Me and a friend sat at the bar. Ordered a beer, tap was broken so he had a bottle. Had chips with dip and the chips came out tasting like they were a couple months old. Manager on duty Thursday evening was rude, not welcoming at all considering she s in management. Seriously think she should work in kitchen since she actually don t like ppl. Our bartender was great though. Doubt we ll ever support this place again.

We had a great experience here. We got a great waiter name Jamal my spelling could be wrong lol he was very sweet great smile and great service. Also upon waiting for our food we watched another lady I believe is a hostess name Teanna who s personality just lights up the whole room. Ive been avoiding this place for awhile now due to prior unpleasant experiences, however my girlfriend convinced me yesterday to give it another try. To my surprise our dinner was enjoyable. Our waitress Tasha was knowledgeable about the specials and although it was somewhat busy she took the time to answer our questions AND LET ME KNOW BEFORE PLACING MY ORDER WHICH SIDES WOULD COST EXTRA. It drives my crazy when waiters charge me for extras like cheese on broccoli, without letting me know in advance. Very easy to talk to, she never made me feel like I was bothering her. Partially due to the fact that I didnt have to ask for much because before I could ask she had it covered. Beautiful girl with silver blue hair Ill never forget it. Our food (steak and wings) was hot, cooked perfectly and we both got our dinner at the same time (unlike last time)! I spoke with the manager John, who was also very friendly, to complement Tasha on her excellent service. He spoke highly of his staff and seemed to be happy with how the restaurant was operating (unlike my last visit). I look forward to next Tuesday when we will be returning for our weekly date night. Hats off to you Grand Prairie Applebees and to Tasha. What a memorable night!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! We ordered a curbside order online and spent $85! Got to the restaurant and pull up to the curbside spot and call in to let them know when had arrived. The lady dryly tells us they have nobody to bring out our food so can we come into the bar and get our order. Never asked our name or anything. We were not dressed to go into a restaurant which is why we did curbside but my fiance went inside. The bar was filled with folks waiting for their orders. They hadnt even started our order and we arrived 10 minutes after our order should have been completed per the text we received. My fiance spoke to the manager Kent who did apologize for his incompetent staff (his words) and asked for a full refund because at this point we will just go somewhere else for dinner. He tells us he cant refund us since its an online order and he has to have his area manager do it. The next day still no refund. This is day 3 and we still do not have our money back. Do NOT visit this location. Or Applebees in general. They have really fallen off. Plenty of other restaurants to go to. I will be escalating this and today we will be physically going back to the store to see about our money since we cant trust this manager at his word. Cant possibly be this hard to refund a transaction. Smh. Update: received our refund after 5 days! Wont be placing any to go orders at this location for sure.
