I saw a video on line and was surprised that my town actually had a hippo burger with in driving distance. 18 miles from my house and I will most definitely be making that drive again. I ordered the #6 mushroom Swiss and I added blue cheese to it with a cheese tater tots. Food came out hot and fresh and pretty quick I only had to wait about 5 minutes. The burger is huge cooked to a medium well with topping spilling out of the looks to be a potato bun. So good the tater tots were popping hot and good as well.

We wanted a real Beef Hamburger. This place did not disappoint! Be prepared, the regular burgers are 1/2 pound! We shared the avocado burger with sweet potato fries. AMAZING!! We will return.

The lady at the register does not say anything. She just stares at you. No words whatsoever. Its weird almost as if its a bother. Burgers are excellent and the vegan patty is better than the beef which is also very good. Fries are perfect. No frills atmosphere

This was a pretty decent burger joint. We got the fried pickle chips, jalapeno burger, bacon cheeseburger, 2 drinks and a shake. The burgers are big, so be aware and hungry. I could honestly have split a burger between myself and someone else. They had a jalapeno ketchup as well at the table which went really well with the pickle chips. Tables were clean, service was quick and the food was good. If youre looking for a hamburger then stop here and try it out.

Very clean and friendly, my burger came out at a pretty quiet time for a burger, and they were huge but very good. Vegetarian options: They have good options to substitute any kind of burger with a vegetarian patty, really appreciate the open mind the restraunt sets for vegetarians!

It was my FIRST time eating here and it. was great then I saw that they had Pepsi ZERO sugar, wooooooooo that was great. My first time seeing ANY burger joint or sit in restaurant offer PEPSI, I see Coke Zero and only Hippo Burger has PEPSI ZERO SUGAR. Wheelchair accessibility: Surprised how much room was space out perfect and still going to be getting bigger.

I went to dine in yesterday 5/4/24 in the afternoon. The burger was good the only complaint I have, is that s they put way too much lettuce on it. The music was good but it was too hot!! I felt like if I was eating outside!! The cashier needs more costumer service. She can Smile!! be nice!! when I walk in no one was in the lobby to greet people like other restaurants do!

My wife really enjoyed the mozzarella sticks. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger without the bun. I was charged full price and they put it on the bread anyway. I would recommend this place for the cheese sticks but not for people trying to eat low carb.

These Burgers are better than McDonalds, I think, but Im not sure because I would only eat a McDonalds burger if I were in some kind of survival mode. Yuck! And whatever you do dont ever ever ever get the nachos. Unless you need to get sick. Made with cheap corn chips and Hormell Can Chili. Yuck! There are no healthy choices at this place. First time we came it was amazing and everything was perfect. Today not so much. I would ask for manager but the girl already told me theres not one here today. I ordered the egg burger and it was not good. The egg was way over cooked and it definitely was not the way I wouldve liked. The cheese sauce is bland and fell way short. The last burger I got was perfect but this one Ill definitely avoid in the future.

The first time here and the burgers were amazing! Worth the price. We got all the flavors of fries. They werent as crispy as I would have liked, but the flavor was spot on. We also got the fried pickles with ranch, 4 outta 5. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was quite somber for an animal named place. But it was clean and easy to navigate.

Burger is decent. If you want a decent grilled burger, this is ideal. Cajun fries were unimpressive. My fiance got garlic fries and they literally had minced garlic on it . Very wet, very garlicky. Wings were not good. Very fatty. Probably wont go back but at least I tried it.

These burgers are seriously the best around!! We have Door Dashed a few times and the food is always hot, fresh, and SO yummy!! We actually went to the restaurant last week ... the service was awesome and the girl behind the register was super sweet and patient! The cooks were working hard and made perfect burgers and tots! Its our second time dining at Hippo Burger. The first visit was perfect. Our son recommended this place. The burgers are delicious. Today is our second trip to Hippo Burger. I got the combo #6 (mushroom burger) with chili cheese tots. My husband ordered the Siracha combo #12 but they got his order wrong. They gave him the Hippo Special #3 and gave him regular fries instead of the garlic fries. He ate the food anyway. The food still tasted delicious and fresh!!! Of course, well return to Hippo next time we crave fresh burgers and fries/tots.

I just had this delivered and it s a hell yeah from me. I ordered the #3 Special burger or whatever, some chilly cheese tots and a chocolate shake that was advertised to be made with Blue Bell ice cream. As I m eating this burger I believe it. They could probably have me believing all kinds of stuff without any evidence or questions from me. Hey Hippo Burger guys and gals don t get any ideas. That was a real treat. It s close to being one of the best burgers I ve ever had and I don t even know what it s close to. I can t think of anything right now that comes near it at this price range. I ve been hearing about Hippo burgers for some time since this location opened up nothing but great things so I finally came to see what the fuss was about. It was a damn good burger! Did not disappoint. I got what was recommended to me by the lovely ladies in the front the Mexican hippo burger everything you could possibly want and then some. Delicious and full of flavor. And wow the burger was a good size to say the least I also got the Cajun Chili cheese fries yeah who even would have thought also delicious wish I would ve had more room to finish all of them! Overall just okay, the young lady in the front acted very annoyed with helping me and my significant other, seen her roll her roll her eyes as a lady asked for her cup. The service lacked. Food was okay not all that the cheese fries were bland the cheese sauce tasted like canned cheese. Also be ready not to be able to sit anywhere there was also lack of seating. Be ready to spend at least 30-40$. Wanted to get a shake but 7$ for a shake is OUTRAGEOUS.

The only good is the Logo. Cheap frozen and salty fries. No seasoning patties. The apple soda tastes like bleach. Price so high to say free fries and drink because opening, when the Freddy s is right next to for the same price with better quality and fries included not for free! This is hands down my favorite place to get a burger! Food always comes out hot & exactly as ordered! They are very accommodating, I always split a burger with my husband so we get it cut with condiments on the side. I ve only tried their onion rings & those are big & crispy. This time we also shared a chili cheese dog and it was perfect. I love the buns they use for both. Prices are great!!! 1 burger, 1 hot dog, onion rings & drinks was $25. This is a real deal burger house. Id been hoping for a Five Guys to open in our area but this place is multitudes better. The burgers are outstanding. Great price point. I forgot to take pictures. I soon as I got my burger I started chompn down!.. the burger meat is thick and juicy. They have one with a fried egg. If I had paid more attention to the menu, I would of definitely order it to try it out. The tator tots are really good and crispy, next time Im getting cheese on them. Its a chill spot. The guy with the glasses working the register is chill and laid back. My wife and I are definitely heading back. You get from me.

Hippo burger is life changing. The moment I had my first fry nothing was the same. Months have gone by and my wife and kids have left me because of my addiction. I am now broke and home less but hippo is all I need

Went on 6/5/23 for their grand opening. Super accessible location just off the freeway. Big menu, good prices, and the food was awesome. I had the Hippo Chicken Especial, with Cajun fries. I could not recommend enough! Service was fantastic and prompt, wasn t too busy when we ate, so food arrived especially quick. If you re looking for a quality FRESH fast food option, look no further. Will be a consistent customer. Also, for their special grand opening I received a free T-Shirt, thank you so much to the management & team for the gift!!

Omg this burgers are so good, they re really big, fast service, the prices are fair for the amount of food you get, the cashiers are really friendly I highly recommend this place!!
