This above-average basic pizza (a la Dominoes, Pizza Hut, Papa Johns). Nothing gourmet. pizza quality is really hit or miss. It has been pretty good the last year or, but recently (2024), weve had a bunch of thin crust and overcooked. Tonight, they were very slow during what should be a prime time on Friday night. There was more crust than toppings. It was tasty though, and made correctly. However, I found a beard hair in my 2nd slice, possibly from the bearded guy who was making the pizza. (Hey, it happens. He was wearing a hair net at least, right? But it does make me think twice about ever going back...) Service was just cursory and rushed, but what do you expect from a place thats mostly delivery? Finally, it was loud in a small space. No big deal. Im sure not a lot of folks choose to eat in store, but I wouldnt know. Im a hearing impaired person, so restaurant acoustics are always annoying for me. My opinion is often low on that point. I think the music is for the people who work there, not for people who want to share a meal together and chat...

Being absent for a while many changes. Wish to seat and enjoy my pizza at place, but no more fountain drink, cooler full of drinks bottled but not working. Service needs to improvement. Attendant not very helpful, handling food it s a big deal because you can t play with the health of costumers. Pets are lovely but a restaurant it s not definitely the ideal place for petting. I have nothing against the food. Pizzas are really delicious. my point is against the situation describe above. I don t know how often this happens but I believe one is too much.

Many times when a person writes a review it has nothing to so with the meal itself. Everyones experience is different. Ive never had a problem with the Marcos Pizza. Its always hot, the toppings appear to be fresh and the service is sometimes hit or miss, but overall I will continue to enjoy Marcos Pizza for the freshness and the price.

Order online, only half order comes in. Driver doesn t understand English. I call store. I am on the phone quite a while, someone answers and put me on hold. He did that several times. At one point he asked me my address 3 times. Put me on hold, and the proceeded to ask my name 6 times. At one point he asked me to turn up my volume; mind you, I have hearing aids. He said I can t hear you, and to turn up my volume, and smartly told me where I could find the buttons. I said you need to turn up your and dropped a f bomb. After 20 to 30 minutes of aggravation I tend to lose my patience. I am a disabled Veteran with PTSD, and I bet you don t teach your folks customer relations I guess. Since I am a ghost in your system, I canceled payment in this order. If anyone is looking for that money, feel free to contact me. I want to know what happened to that manager, until then, I won t be back at that place. I am retired, I may even picket that place that tolerates scumbags hanging up on people. Do you ever consider that little sissy new generational flakes push old retired people to their limits, and f bombs are justified??? Laziness, can lead to manipulation, and that nonsense of he cussed at me is not going to fly; especially what you and Door Dash charges. My blood sugar was high, and I used those losers to deliver food, MINUS the food I paid for, but that is too much to ask I guess. 1262465340001 is my order number. I you care to get this order straight, and tell me what happened to that rude sub human, call me. It is in the order. Disgusting food experience to say the least, on food that normally tastes well. How come it is so hard? They wanted a 100 dollars an hour, but only do 20 cents worth. UPDATE Owner tell me to PM him, but kicked me off his Facebook page Just to show you how you are just a number and money to them. That owner has my info as I have noted above. 2 weeks without any further attempt to return the money he stole.

Was let go for being sick during the golden days with multifocal pneumonia and not showing up even with a doctors note which he said would be fine. Sunny is a funny guy I noticed at my old apartments Marcos utilized my idea I shared with him for increasing sales. The managers are hard working mf s and so is everyone else on the team the funny thing about the whole show is the person running the franchise easily take advantage of folks wages so he can pull up on his new truck to my apt complex and steal my idea to advertise by the coffee table without even a comment and then I walk into my apt complex after getting fired and guess who s coupon idea was being used

We tried this place because we got a coupon in the mail. The coupon didn t work, but they had deals online so we ordered anyway. The order was ready quickly, but terrible quality. Everything was very tough. I ordered white sauce on a pizza and I m pretty sure they just didn t put sauce because it was really dry. Not great flavor either.

So instead of giving an accurate delivery time, Marcos has now partnered with door dash for delivery and has thus lost control over the actual delivery time for your order. This is the last time we will order pizza from Marco s. They tell you 30 minutes and then start notifying you it will be another 30 then another 30. So you get your pizza in 2 hours that s cold and terrible. They better figure it out quick.

I have ordered pizza exclusively from Marcos for the past few years since it was better than most others in Georgetown. Today was my last order. They are now using Doordash, which means that Im going to receive a pizza that was ready an hour before delivery. If they couldnt deliver due to short-staffing, I would rather have known so I could just go and pick it up. The dasher delivered only part of my order and put my food on the ground. Isnt that a health code violation? We dont normally put our food on the ground. Calling and asking for a refund.

The standard for delivery here has increasingly trended to taking at LEAST an hour to arrive. Im sitting here at this moment having waited over 2 hours for my pizza to arrive. Thank god I didnt have a hungry family to feed or a place to be in a timely fashion. Update an 2 hours and 10 minutes later: This pizza is definitely the same one that the order tracker said was being baked shortly after I ordered it. So that means this pizza is two hours old. Pitiful customer service. There is a lot of meat on this pizza and you are telling me that its been sitting out for that long? Update from October: So instead of hiring delivery drivers, they have chosen to outsource to DoorDash and apparently that particular company chooses to stop sending out drivers to deliver pizza after a certain time. We found this out after getting frustrated after not getting our pizza for two hours (again) and deciding to go to the store to find out that they THREW AWAY the pizza and neglected to call or send a message or anything about it. So were hungry after two hours and there is nothing for us but a refund I had to drive to the store to get because they chose not to call and let us know. And I cant even go to the website to complain because the LINK FOR CUSTOMER HELP IS BROKEN AND HAS BEEN FOR MONTHS.

My husband and I were very disappointed in our experience and were genuinely concerned about the safety of our food. The workers making our pizzas were not wearing gloves, and my husband and another customer in line witnessed them rubbing their faces (noses), hair, and clothing and then resuming making dough and placing toppings on pizzas without any hand-washing. Our pizzas were also made very sloppy. My husband came close to cancelling the orders altogether but we had just gotten home from vacation with very hungry kids and an empty fridge. Marcos pizza has always been our go-to spot for a good reasonably priced meal for our family of 7 when we dont feel like cooking dinner. We had been ordering from this location at least 5 times a month for years now, but we will no longer be eating here. Im sad that this family favorite has taken a south turn, and I REALLY hope that someone looks into this for well-being of other families in our community.

Used to be a decent place. They had an absolute meltdown July 25th. I arrived 30 minutes after ordering, pizza was not ready. Guy behind the counter pointed which order on the screen was mine to the pizza maker. She was making perhaps one pizza every 10 minutes. No idea why she was deliberately slow walking them. People in the lobby volunteered to me that it was a disaster and I should just leave. Ive been there every Tuesday for years - I wasnt ready to give up. The whole time I was there (over an hour) the phone rang non-stop. It was answered only twice. During that hour the lobby became increasingly full, some customers actually yelling in frustration. Meanwhile, the workers ignored the phone and would no longer acknowledge the customers in the lobby, and made six or seven pizzas in the hour+ that I was there. One guy, picked up three pizzas and told the workers that the customers were being unreasonable. What a clueless SOB he was. Never got my order even though they charged my credit card. Have been back twice for my money, there is never anyone there with authority to refund. Its only $30ish but the fact that I cant get it back and the absolute reprehensible customer service has bought them a lifetime poor recommendations from me. Id sooner go to the joint across the street where the teenage boy uses his male unit to adorn pizzas of customers who dare to visit within an hour of closing time. At least they didnt steal my money.

The five stars are just for Amy! Amy saved the day! She was able to listen to my concerns and to make things right. Amy took my concerns seriously and I could not be happier. We love our local Marco s. We are loyal and regular customers! Last night, we called in at 9:00 to order, no one picked up the phone, ever. We waited on hold, listened to the incessant out going message, until 11:00, just to see how long our wait would be. Add to this, the website lists closing as midnight, but the store seems to close earlier. Very odd! I wonder how much money is lost from employees immature behaviors in not doing their jobs. Please hire mature folks/adults who want to work! Please give Amy a raise in pay, cash bonuses, Gift cards to H E B, gift certificates to spas, hair salons. Give Amy what ever she wants. It was Amy who regained our business. When I phoned in today, it was only to express my frustration from the lack of service last night. Amy took the time to hear me out, and she demonstrated her commitment to Marco s and their customers. If every Marco s employee treated their job and customers with professionalism, the place would be more prosperous. Vegetarian options: We get a veggie pie, a Greek salad and dippers for the hubby. Kid-friendliness: Kids love the pizza, the dippers, the cinnamon sticks and they love that the pizza is hot when it arrives.

Got my first Marcos pizza, a large supreme. Pros: 1) fairly generous with toppings and they seemed fresh; 2) price. Cons - 1) crust was meh mediocre but actually improved on a reheat the next day; 2) sauce was meh on quality and light on quantity. That said, Ill go again because it was adequately satisfying and priced right. Also got wings, which were baked with buffalo sauce. On the small side and sauce was mediocre, overall 3.5 on 5 scale. Update: Went back to Marcos and tried a meatball sub. Definitely unsatisfying. White (only option) sub roll was borderline stale and meatballs, sauce and cheese were all meh and light on quantity. Probably wont try subs again but will still go for pizza.

My son has had just about all the major chains of pizza thats out there Little Caesars, Dominoes, Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, CICIs ect. He absolutely loves PIZZA and eats it often. We had not eaten at Marcos Pizza before so we visited as first timers. Walking in the store it was cool, neat and clean. You could smell the pizzas cooking wonderfully in the air. We were greeted by the store GM April French. I mentioned to her we were first timers and if she could help me with a recommendation from the menu rather than sliced pizza. I had the Delicious Pizza Bowl it was YUMMY and filling. My bowl was filled with hearty meat and veggies I selected. Shout Out April French! My son had the Pepperoni Magnifico pizza. Now when a 17 yr old kid tells you that was REALLY GOOD! That says something to me. Hes happy and full. On the drive home he mentioned how fresh and tasty everything was :) Later that night we were presently surprised to see how well the pizza crust rewarmed in the Airfryer. Crust was crunchy and soft not hard and rubbery.

Always enjoy their pizza but the phone service on a busy night with someone who isnt trained and follows requests poorly because she works off assumptions was available. It is taxing to make a call like that. We arent disarming a bomb. She wasnt rude. She just needs more training and needs to not assume but ask for clarification. The online menu doesnt list specials. Would be great if local restaurants had codes for specials they could throw on their site and it could be ordered online. Anyways, didnt want to spend over $40 when I I got the impression the representative and I were not on the same page. Want my order to be correct. Not really certain of other peoples issues. Never had the grief the seem to be having. Outside ordering being painful vs a quick back and forth, I have never had a problem, but I will get something else tonight to avoid compounding the communication issue. I understand it takes time to learn but offer options, answer inquiries, and then ask what the consumer wants. Then repeat the final order. Update: You misunderstand. Normally I have a good experience. Tonight it was difficult so I had Papa Johns. I rated 4 stars for past experiences on the whole. It isnt fair to tank a score over one encounter when others have been good. This is why instead of a five you got a 4. The service tonight was a 2 or 3. Marcos is nice and clean, friendly service and the food is fantastic! So many choices! I was so excited that they had a pizza bowel since Im watching my carb intake. Most pizza places I have to get a salad but here I had options!

The staff was very nice. They offered me a coupon. The parking lot is a little confusing. But the pizza was good. Order the thin crust so you get all the pizza to the edge of the crust. Otherwise there may be bubbles in the dough.

Its 9:54pm and my meal was supposed to be ready by 9:47pm. As I sit here, all the employees are just standing around giggling, and laughing. I have high patience because Im a Walgreens truck driver; but I cant imagine, what would happen if I were in a hurry. Its 9:56pm, and Im still waiting on my order. I only ordered 1 pizza bowl. Im unhappy. Too many employees standing around giggling. Its 9:58pm and my order is finally done. I appreciate the girl at the register, she made my order and provided excellent customer service, while her co-workers laugh, talk and giggle. The people in the back should take note, not sure why, the 4 people in the back didnt make my order, but the girl at the register did.

The pizza is great, but the people are excellent. Front counter guy was very kind and outgoing. As I waited for my pizza three different employees enthusiastically asked me if I had been helped yet. Sure, you can say every place does, but watching the guys carefully make pizza you can tell they are this way even when customers aren t looking.

This Marcos location ROCKS! Their pizzas are always on point, delivery is fast, and the employees are SUPERSTARS!!! I accidentally ordered something different than I thought I did (their white sauce is more of a parmesan garlic spread and not an Alfredo sauce as I was expecting) and Ryan offered right away to replace it with something else. As a pregnant woman, this just about made me cry happy tears. My family will be loyal customers for life! Keep up the good work and AWESOME FOOD!

Figured I would try this pizza place. I placed an online order for delivery and it was delivered in a timely manner. When I began eating, about 2 slices in I spotted a hair in my pizza. I called the restaurant and was offered a replacement pizza or a credit. I told them if they could send the replacement pizza Id appreciate it. When they sent it the delivery guy who showed up asked for the first pizza back I gave it back to him no problem. He then made a rude comment and asked for the hair back with it because they send them to corporate. Very unprofessional and will not spend my money there again.
