Food is usually good when I sit inside but the way my food was packaged was not cool. I got a sandwich and french toast and it was wrapped in foil. For one thats ghetto and second when I called and talked to the manager all she could say was sorry. I wasnt even offered another one. Hell I wouldve paid for half of it at least. I dont like soggy bread. I hope in the future they invest in better to go packaging and have a manager on hand that knows how to handle these issues.

Hi...... I came to this establishment a year ago, but I was afraid to tell my story. However, now after extensive therapy I have come to terms with what happened to me. I am ready Finally ready To relive the horror. It was February 8th, 2022, and my brother wanted to check out this supposed elegant amazing 4 star restaurant. I, a naive bright-eyed and open-minded breakfast lover, said yes, un aware of what would unfold. How my life would never be the same again. I walk in, bright lights, busy counters, sticky floors, but with an excitement to eat fluffy biscuits. Unfortunately this is when my troubles began. We had come at rush hour, 40 MINUTE WAIT,. But it was okay. Because they had good biscuits, or so I thought. The server was stressed, running around. I could barely hear myself ordering over the restaurant noise. But it was okay, they have good biscuits right? ANOTHER 30 MINUTE WAIT. We finally get our order. Sure in less enthusiastic spirits, but by then we were STARVING. Id lost 10 pounds in the wait, an hour in that restaurant felt like 6 days, and I was like a man on an island. Waiting for a coconut to fall. I shovel down my biscuit. Yum. Or so I thought. Inside of my mouth, I feel something. Not quite like chicken, not quite like biscuit. But rather something else. Something fuzzy Long Stringy I open my mouth and innocently grab it, expecting nothing, perhaps a string cheese. And to my horror I find a 10 inch loc of hair INSIDE OF MY BISCUIT THAT I HAD WAITED OVER AN HOUR FOR. I screamed, I cried, I threw up. I was inconsolable, seizing, shaking. I never could get over it, until today. Thank you to my psychologist for helping me gain courage to share my testimony. If I could just save one person from eating a loc, I know that it was all worth it. I love you guys, stay safe out there. And dont eat at this restaurant.

The food here was PHENOMENAL! I got the Monte Cristo and it was one of the best things Ive ever had. Its also got a good area to eat right outside the front, which I love. The staff was not super friendly, but not the worst. Definitely worth a try.

My goodness! What a stellar establishment! I love the ambience and these biscuits were darn knee-slappin good! The holiday-style sweet potato tots evoked a sense of nostalgia for the good old holidays and I could feel my neurons firing the seratonin neurotransmitters as I devoured! In other words, if you are not concerned with the subject of neuroscience, this was darn good!!!

Very neat breakfast place, service was great food was pretty good. The latte wasnt my favorite but the soda fountain had some really good choices. The chicken and biscuit was really good. Biscuits and gravey not bad but there is a lot of other choices on the menu I would like to come back and try. Kid-friendliness: Kids would be welcome, very casual atmosphere. They do have options on a kids menu too.

This place is perfect. My boyfriend ordered the steak and egg biscuit, I had the hot honey biscuit and breakfast tots; it was a 10/10. Super quick, great service & delicious food. The ladies at the bar were very attentive so nice also. I will be back soon.

I had a deeply disappointing experience with Biscuit Bar, primarily due to the behavior of the manager, Demetria. Her attitude is terrible, she is extremely rude and unprofessional, demonstrating a level of incompetence that overshadowed any positive aspects of this corporation. Moreover, she intimidates employees, making the workplace uncomfortable and creating a negative atmosphere. Her lack of basic sales skills, respect for others, and customer service reflects poorly on the business as a whole. Given the poor management and toxic atmosphere, I would not recommend this place.

I never would have thought that as a disabled service veteran with disabilities from serving in OIF and OEF, I would be denied service by any establishment in this country, even after politely informing them that my dog is a service dog. Initially, I was told that she needed a vest, which, according to ADA standards, isnt true and is discriminatory. Then I was informed that I couldnt place a to-go order inside, only outside. I have never felt so low in my life. If you are a disabled vet or a person requiring a service dog, I recommend staying away from this establishment. You are only allowed to place your order via mobile order and eat outside. Be warned that this establishment is ableist. Save yourself the embarrassment and hurt.

I ordered through Uber and this is sadly the worst meal I ve ever had in my life and it had nothing to do with having to wait for it to be delivered. The plain biscuit is great and it is the only enjoyable part of this meal. The tater tots taste like old oil and are hard as a rock. The sausage gravy tastes like old sausage grease and is absolutely disgusting. The ranch dressing is chunky and tastes like slightly seasoned sour cream. The bites are burnt and hard. I spent $75 on this meal and I am so disappointed. It doesn t help that my stomach hurts after eating what little was edible. Really really disappointed and out $75.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. My boyfriend and I went into the biscuit bar this Sunday night and I asked the cashier can I use the restroom before I buy food? She said yes. My boyfriend was parking the car so he called me after he parked and said did they let you use the bathroom? I said yes? I told the cashier I was using the restroom he comes back to the bathroom after an agreeing with the cashier to purchase food and then an argument with the cashier because she said you MUST buy food before using the bathroom. So he goes pee. Hes in the stall and a cook wearing a biscuit bar apron BANGS on the door, multiple times probably as hard as he can to where it shook my boyfriend up. He doesnt say anything other than yall gotta order first ???? Why are you banging on a bathroom door after he said he was ordering food after he had to utilize the bathroom? So we walk near the cash register at the Biscuit bar in deep ellum and the cashier I spoke to immediately says my bad LOUD AND CLEAR about the misunderstanding but then again states she (me) asked to use the restroom before paying and I didnt know he (my boyfriend) was with you because you didnt come in at the same time so thats why he was banging on the door first of all... if its the same situation, why can I use the restroom and he cant? Why does it matter if were together? We both checked in with you before utilizing the restroom. After the cashier has attitude and laughs under her breathe WHEN THE ENTIRE STAFF AND STORE IS WATCHING, we decide f this we dont want to spend our money here, she shames us and points her fingers at us as were exiting the store. Will you get new staff? Will this happen again? We love biscuit bar and we dont want to spend our money here if were going to be treated this way. This happened Aug 25 2024 around 11 / 11.15 pm. If you have any questions please call. If the restroom is that big of issue, there should be a lock or key for people to grab at the register instead of leaving the bathrooms, unlocked and sending workers to bang on the door unnecessarily. The worker was standing at the door about ready to enter the bathroom. What if there was a girl in there? What if he was in the wrong bathroom? Then what? This is ridiculous.

This was a sloppy mess. This place was a huge disappointment. I placed my order at exactly 8:50 a.m., and they threw together some mess. The order was wrong. The food was horrible, and the quality was trash. Never again. You may want to hold off tipping these people until you inspect the quality of your food. Trash .

What an wonderful find! The biscuits here are a fluffy- buttery perfection. Not to mention savory and sweet options that are equally as mouthwatering. I highly recommend the secret menu items are truly unique and a must-try for adventurous eaters. I was particularly blown away by the Monte Cristo. The place has a big selection of biscuit sandwiches, they even have a secret menu with more flavors and combinations, just ask the cashier. I ve been here several times and I loved the Montecristo which is the served with French toast instead of biscuits. The other good ones are the Hot Hot chicken sandwich with Nashville style fried chicken. They also have different styles of tater tots , the one I like is the breakfast tots which come with bacon, cheese and an over easy egg. Parking: There s a paid parking lot just crossing the street.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my meal at The Biscuit Bar. It turned out to be one of the best breakfasts I ve had in quite some time. Normally, Im not a huge fan of biscuits, but these were exceptional so buttery and flaky. I ordered the Steak and Egg biscuit, and it was phenomenal, with perfectly cooked steak. I also tried the breakfast tots, which were a delightful complement to my meal, especially with my breakfast margarita. The margarita had a delicious taste and a generous pour of liquor, making it the perfect morning treat. I chose to sit at the bar, and the experience was wonderful. The place itself was incredibly clean and full of light, creating a welcoming atmosphere. A special shoutout to the bartender, a nice young pregnant woman whose name I unfortunately forgot. She had a fantastic attitude and was incredibly attentive, making my visit even more enjoyable. This was our first time there, the place is decorated beautifully in my opinion. The staff was very nice and answered all our questions and tended to our needs in a timely manner. The food was ok, I was expecting a little more for the price. If you factor in the cost of parking (garage- $7/an hour or parking across the street - $11), plus the cost of the food, it can get quite expensive for the small portions. This wouldnt be my first choice in the future.

Stopped in here for breakfast while we were in town. The food was pretty good. I had the rough night and a bloody Mary. The bloody Mary was also good. I wasnt very impressed with the service. The girl running the register barely spoke. The interaction was very awkward. I am generally fine with someone not being over friendly but this was on another level. When we walked up to the counter she never looked up at us. I asked how she was and she said food. Then silence. Finally we just started ordering even though we werent certain she was ready to take our order. We ordered our food and she never spoke. It didnt kill the experience but it was definitely unpleasant.

I came here on a Sunday morning and I had an amazing experience for my my first. The food ( we ordered a hot hot chicken and a hoss) was AMAZING. The chicken was so soft and tender and the biscuits cut like absolute butter. We also got a Mimosa BFF. You get an entire bottle of champagne and two juices. For the price, it was an absolute steal. We spent about $50 for the whole thing. The service was good too, everyone was very nice and professional. The restaurant itself was very clean and well kept. The Biscuit Bar is a must when I come to Dallas. It s one of my boyfriend and I s favorite restaurants. We usually go for breakfast but the menu definitely doesn t limit you! This location specifically is the superior location. The employees are overly helpful and available. This is consistent with my every year to half year visit. Love the Hoss! I m very picky of gravy and this is one you know they take time to make themselves rather than reverting to a packet mix. We typically get an order of biscuits to go and sides of honey butter. Everything is always very flavorful. This trip specifically was my first time back in over a year and I was so pleased to know consistency was still in place.

What s the famous line if I could give this place a zero I would ..walked in to grab a drink and wait on my bus and when I walked in ms sherry was moping the floor so I made a comment being funny oh how am I supposed to get to the rest room if it s blocked or stating what you call the OBVIOUS..ms sherrys reply was very rude and nasty in response to my statement..replying nastly you can get there when I m done you can wait till I m done thats how I m not sure how a person like that is left in charge with no personality and rude to you alls customers .. ewwwwww on the customer service the atmosphere was already dead water all over the floor I will definitely be posting my video on ticktok .. goood food and bad service don t mix .. she don t know who she was talking to I could have been with corporate or anything and I was only joking .I seriously think you can do better biscuit bar ..her appearance was bad in itself your employees should keep themselves well groomed and hair put up .. This was my first time here and only went because this is where my granddaughter wanted to go for her birthday. There was 12 of us that dined in, I ordered a Mimosa and the Hoss Biscuit and sweet potatoe tots, because the picture looked so wonderful and the bacon looked thick and hung off the side of the biscuit! First off you have to walk up and place your order, before I could pay and get back to my seat, the server was standing there with my order and I made a comment to her WOW that was fast and she said YEAP! The tots wee luke warm, the biscuit wasn t even hot enough to melt the grated cheese and the poor bacon was limp and almost see-through . I was pretty upset but did not complain because usually when black people complain about food or service we are accused of wanting a free meal, but if I couldn t afford it, I would not have been there. Needless to say this rest of my entire family had similar issues. The whole place was kind of dirty and the bathroom was totally disgusting I also paid $10 to park, no other options! I will not be eating here

The place has great potential but the food was saturated in grease and salt. The tots were smothered in cheese, so much cheese it made the tots mushy. The ranch was watery. The blueberry tequila was good though. The customer service was absent however the waitress was over welmed with work and she was doing her best to keep the place together. The atmosphere was okay, the food was great, but the service was not good. The young girl at the register was rude, on her phone the whole time, went outside on her phone and came back 10 minutes later. She went to the back where the food is being prepared and did not wash her hands, continued on her phone. Then came back to the lobby and sat on her laptop. The gentleman who prepared the food was also on his phone. Is there not some policy about phone usage in front of customers.. its very unsanitary.. I was in shock. Ill never eat there again..

I have to say to this supposably 4 star dining place the biscuit bar, my son was so excited to finally get into Dallas from a long two day and a half bus ride from San Diego from boot camp to beautiful Dallas Texas. His bus dropped him off at greyhound downtown and he had a 9 hour wait for his next bus ride home and decided to go to biscuit bar to unwind drink a coffee and get himself a little something to eat which he did. I was texting him to see how he was doing and he said the waitresses kept looking at him and that they were so rude to him and made him leave to stand outside in the rain stranded with no where to go. Waitresses names were Larika and manager at the time Nia. I know this because I called and spoke with Larika and asked for there names so that I could write this review on just how wonderful there service was. I just want to say from a mothers perspective to whoever the owner is to this biscuit bar, I would not wish anybody to be treated this way especially to an 18 year old just getting in from a hectic and lonely place such as marine boot camp. If only your waitresses would have asked a few more questions on how someones day is going or if there was anything else they could help him with instead of kicking someone out in the rain that has already paid to be there and relax for a bit. I will be leaving my review in every single area that I can about this place regarding there horrible customer service and maybe one day the owner will hire people that actually care about making someones day, so that they would want to come back and talk about how amazing there experience was. I was served a biscuit that was not baked through. I didnt have to argue about it, which was great. The replacement biscuit had clearly been too warm before it was baked and turned out much flatter and greasy bottomed. Seriously, its THE thing yall do. I cant recommend anyone visit and expect good food. I wouldnt mind recommending the French toast biscuit, as it is cooked a second time on the stove. Additionally, there is only plasticware, even if you eat in, and the coffee and water cups are unbranded styrofoam. No paper, no compostable, no coffee mug. This is one of the least eco friendly restaurants Ive seen in a while.

The menu and photos are beautiful. The food is less than mediocre. I ordered the grilled chicken. There was zero flavor from the chicken or sauce. The best part was the arugula. Hubby ordered a sausage, egg and cheese. He was asked if an over easy egg was okay. He said yes. He was given a hard cooked egg. The yolk was like a hard boiled egg. The biscuits are huge, but lack flavor. They are very dense and overpower anything on the sandwich. This is no better than a local fastfood chain like McDonalds and certainly more expensive. The mimosa was decent. Tots were undercooked and had not flavor.

Just visited for the first time for brunch with a friend of mine and I cannot lie when I say the food was great, the customer service was great, and to top it off the atmosphere was great too! We had a wonderful attendant named Tda and wow did she keep it lively in there. They had a variety of options to choose from and even a secret menu that you can ask for! Our server Tda was checking in frequently and making sure everything was okay. She had a wonderful spirit and made us feel extremely welcome and comfortable! I genuinely recommend going here for a good time! They have indoor and outdoor seating and can be a great place for some photo opportunities!
