This was my first time ever here and it was not a bad experience! Only thing I could really suggest is look into upgrading your seating. Could be a little more comfortable in that aspect. Also I dont how merch is handle but could of been helpful having Two of them. Either way I hope to visit again if they do a similar event

The concert was great. The audio and lights were spectacular. The seats tho, are the most uncomfortable seats ever. After a 2h orchestra concert, my back is in a lot of pain. Thankfully the concert had an intermission and we were able to walk for a bit. Unfortunately, it seemed that the three floors only had one restroom with 2 stalls each. You can imagine how long the line to the restroom was.

Great place for music, Opera, etc. The place needs a refresh. Need to put some money into it. And the parking is horrible especially when theres another event going on. There are too many things downtown. Should of left the baseball stadium at Cohen and put money into that place.

Attended the ZZ Top concert in April 2024. The worst thing about the Chavez Theater is that the seats are uncomfortable and that each row is one continuous row of seats without any steps to navigate section of seats. This layout may lead to becoming annoyed with other guests that have to pardon me , excuse me , etc. right in front of you throughout the performance. This would not be my first place to choose when wanting to see a concert.

This thing is not as old as that ancient County Coliseum but the Abraham Chavez is almost as bad. These old venues and need to be replaced. The seats suck, if you need go to the head, you have to step over a bunch of people, going and coming. This is because the spaces between rows is virtually nonexistent. I will never attend a function there again. A certain local professor and a rich out of town interloper stopped the multipurpose center by means of frivolous and repetitive lawsuits.z I have been in this city for forty years. It s sad that we can t move forward because closed minded people make this city regress. Build a decent concert venue, because what the county and city own are not up to par. You can put lipstick on a pig to make it look better, in the end it s still a pig.

I went to see the dress rehearsal to La Triviata. It is clear the owners no longer pour money into this place. The building is no longer fixed up. Its unfortunate because this is a beautiful place. I will not discuss the show since that is not what this post is about. But I will give you a warning. If you do not like anything woke, dont waste your time going to see La Triviata.

Finding seats is pretty easy and there are also guides there to help you find your seat. I went to see Dancing with the Stars live and it was great! The seats are not too bad, just a little squished. If you have sensitive hearing I recommend sitting in the middle of the row and in the middle of the theatre. I sat in the third row toward the left and the speaker was directly in my ear so it was a bit loud. What I loved about my seat was that although it was the third row, I was still right next to the stage and the performers.
