I had the popcorn shrimp with 2 piece of fish it came with fries.$25 (in 8.2024) It was too much food , I saved some for lunch the next day. I called it in and it was ready when I arrived. The cashier was nice and very polite. The fish was thin but flavorful and the popcorn shrimp was bigger and more plentiful than expected.. overall good food, just a little high priced but worth it.

Came here with my family looking for cheap seafood because everything is so high on the island and this place was 10x better than expected, food was amazing and inexpensive compared to other places. We always stop at Joes when we are in Galveston. The place is not fancy, but serves some of the best (budget friendly) seafood on the island. The 2 filet fish sandwich is delicious !!! The wife loves the fried oysters & shrimp po-boy. Joes is the place to go for seafood !

I wasnt impressed I order genral Tso,wanton soup,and egg rolls and it was a little over priced for what I got and was very disappointed it was over cooked and the batter was very over cooked real tough to eat very chewy. Thank God my wife ordered fish cause at least soneone enjoyed there meal it only stinks cause I only had to pay 1/3of what i ate. I did like the egg rolls and the wonton chips wonton soup did have a burnt taste to it almost like a grill like taste. Im sorry I was hoping all the reviews where as good as I hoped but for me I had a bad experience maybe youll have a better experience then mine

This place here is amazing. They always say don t judge a book by its cover ! Well that s absolutely true. The food here is the best and you won t be disappointed in the amount you receive. The seafood is hot and fresh. The fried rice is to die for and the rice and gravy is um um good. Prices aren t all that bad for what you get. I m from the New Orleans area and the food reminds me of back home. Seasoning is just right. It s so good that during my stay here I ve ate there three nights in a row. You can get seafood or Chinese and there s so much more to choose from. Trust me you got to try this place. Oh and the picture I included I d already been digging in before I took it so you know it was plentiful

I would describe this as a great place for people like me who like to eat at a local hole-in-the-wall. The food comes out hot and fresh and they serve generous portions. Great seafood should be served in disposable containers in my opinion, and this place does it. Tasty and a good value.

This is my numeral uno here... I went here recently and feel in love... The gravy and rice taste so good like someone granny was in the back...no joke... The wings were made fresh I mean steaming hot..... After a long morning at Stewart Beach that turned into the afternoon, we were definitely ready for lunch and hankering for tasty, affordable seafood lunch around 2pm. We decided to head into town on Broadway rather than stick with the local fare on the seawall. After visiting Joe s Seafood for the first time, it will become our go-to spot for excellent seafood. The popcorn shrimp lunch special was actually enough to be shared by mom and daughter, and dad and son each enjoyed the 6-shrimp poboy that was plenty!

They have everything from delicious fried chicken wings with rice and gravy, delicious grilled and fried seafood and they even have Chinese food options that are wonderful. The prices are very reasonable and you get enough to share with almost all of the meals. Parking: Parking can get congested during busy dinner time.

First off, the place does NOT smell like a fish restaurant, which is a GOOD thing because my hubs doesnt enjoy that smell. However, we were the only ones there. Secondly, its a good thing they serve Chinese food because we all ordered from that menu! Portions are HUGE! I should have shared an entree. The hungry young people in my group were satisfied with the large portions. I had pepper steak - yum! It was savory & a little sweet. One of the teens had crawfish lo mein and LOVED it - ate every bit! One of the picky eaters had broccoli chicken and also loved it. Hubs had sweet & sour chicken. The tempura breading on the chicken looked delicious. I wasnt super impressed with the fried rice, it was marginal, not worth the $2.99 upcharge. I should have stuck with white rice. The Asian man who took our order was very friendly, helpful, & polite. Same for the black man who was there taking orders. I saw him help out a customer with a special request. Im sorry I didnt get their names but Im happy to report that interactions with employees were very pleasant. The building looks like it was once a gas station and it almost caused my hubs to turn around. However, Im glad we didnt because overall we had a great meal at a friendly establishment. Drinks : Saturday was OK. Scorpion reef was better. Fried crab balls was good but only 4 small pieces. The bacon wrapped shrimp was excellent. I wanted something with flavor so I ordered the snapper ($34+-) 70% fries. Fish was deep fried. Zero flavor. My daughter ordered the Gumbo which was really good. My son ordered the shrimp poboy which he was disappointed with. Waitress was rally nice. Always checked on us.

We did not know what to expect since we were out of towners, We were looking for local and delicious and thats exactly what we got!!!! First time ever at Joes Seafood. Small place that is over look. Whenever you do stop in, they treat you like a long time friend. Fish and Shrimp are at the best. From time of placing my order to time I Left was just over 5 minutes. Results like that will keep me coming back again and again.
