I cant say enough good things about this restaurant, the staff was extremely friendly, I had veal parm, and the girlfriend had spaghetti and meatballs. Both of our meals were excellent! We had been chatting with a couple of the staff members before and after our meal for a while and they really make you feel welcome and are great people, Were on vacation and if were ever in the area again we will be back for sure!

We had the cheese garlic bread, lunch spaghetti with meat sauce, lasagna, salads and a to-go piece of Italian Cream cake. Everything was so flavourful and amazing!!!We wanted to order pizza later but had so much left over from lunch we opted to wait until next time. Loved watching the pizzas being made. Staff was very nice, friendly & personable. Will definitely be going back again when in town!

They were fabulous! We wanted a good restaurant that is not touristy. Gino s delivered! We got spaghetti and a pizza. The portions are huge and very fairly priced! We were full and still had another meal leftover. It was an hour to close and they still provided us with steaming delicious food and very friendly service! We were very impressed! We will definitely return :)

We walked and the restaurant was about half full. I immediately noticed that everyone seemed to be waiting on food. I saw several people get up to go get their own drink refill. That s when I realized that there was only one waiter serving the whole restaurant. We sat there 15 minutes and no one came to get our drink order, that s when I knew that this was going to be a disaster. I got up and told my family, let s go. A guy at the table next to us turned and said, We ve been waiting a while for our food. So we left because I knew it was not going to be a good experience. They really need to hire more people to serve.

We googled pizza and Ginos came up. Went there and the outside was an almost empty parking lot with an old sign and building seemed run down, very unappealing. But it was 4th of July and we knew a lot of places were crowded so we decided not to judge a book by its cover and we are so glad we stayed. My son got a pepperoni pizza, I had mozzarella sticks, chicken fettucine and my husband had the calamari and the cheese tortellini with red sauce. Mozzarella sticks were good, seemed like any from anywhere including the grocery store, but still good. The actual food, pizza and pasta were absolutely delicious!!!!!!!! I have never had fettuccine where I did not have to add anything like pepper. This was so flavorful and creamy and chicken melted in your mouth. So so good! My only critique would be to update the sign and outside. Would recommend this place to anyone!

If I could give 0 for service I will. I Went to this place because of the reviews, but I was very dissaponited. First, there is only one guy doing everything... so, be aware you are gonna be sitting in the table for a long time. I saw a couple leaving because nobody came to check on them.. second, my order was incomplete. third the guy was not nice at all and forth we got 5 different dishes and any of them was good. How in the world this place have 4.3 stars reviews, every thing about this place is terrible and mostly the food which came after 45 minutes of wait and no one check on me if i need anything in 45 minutes , i ordered spaghetti with meat balls tasted horrible and i had diarrhea after that. Their biggest mistake that they have alot of choices on the menu, just stick to maximum 10 choices and perfect them. Avoid this place at any cost i don t care how much you are starving.

Absolutely love this restaurant. The marinara on the pizza was very flavorful, and the pizza crist was nice and crisp on the bottom. My husband got the lasagna and loved it! The portions are large (even the small pizza was huge). Atmosphere was welcoming and the restaurant was very clean. The best part was our server, Robert. Great attitude, very personable and made us feel at home. Love this place!

Food is the worst Italian on the island. We had it delivered. The pizza was bland, not cooked all the way through and looked like a crackhead tried to cut it. Spaghetti lacks any flavor and meatballs are definitely not homemade. Stale croutons on salad. Then when I called to give my feedback to the owner they got defensive and said sorry you feel that away and we have been making great food for over 40 years and they never get complaints and don t care 0 stars

Found online via Google. Had good reviews so we tried it. Service was terrible. Busy but not slammed. Husband got salad first and I had to ask where mine was. Took 15-20 to get the salad. Fried apps came out before salad. Fried mushrooms amd zuccini taste like they are from frozen. Not much flavor. I ordered chicken Alfredo with zitti noodles. Noodles were over cooked. Sauce was runny. The chicken was a from frozen chicken breast they reheated and cut up. Not baked. Not Fried. Not crispy. It was soggy and chewy. Husbands chicken fettuccine Alfredo was the same. Pizza was made in house but it was burnt on the bottom and tasted terrible. Our bill was as much as a fancy resturants bill. Dont recommend.

I ordered a pepperoni and jalapeno 12 pizza and it was really delicious! The pepperoni didnt make it too greasy and the cheese and sauce were a perfect amount! My boyfriend ordered the cheese pizza with extra cheese and says its pretty good and doesnt feel too heavy with the amount of dough. Whenever we walked in the server greeted us happily and made us feel welcome as well! He was really sweet and attentive to our needs. Even bringing the to go box and filling up drinks without asking! Horrible service had to wait 15 min for someone to come get are drink order then waited 10 min to get our drinks mind you they were not busy a couple got there after us and they got there drinks way before us , then we asked another waiter if our drinks were coming she said they are coming and continue to walk away while rolling her eyes to the cashier and made a gesture . This Italian restaurant lacks table seating and comfort, however, the BEST Italian food I have ever had. Better than Marios and Olive Garden. We arrived and they were busy due to a bud full of soccer kids. We were seated and ordered. Pizzas were delivered after about 30-40 minutes but not everyone else s orders. About 45 minutes to an hour later the rest of the order came out, 2 pasta dishes and 2 sandwiches. While waiting , we asked a gentleman we thought was a manager about the wait and not having all of our food and were told gruffly not everyone else s in the other room has theirs either and they are working on it. People were seated after us and were getting served long before we got our food. They brought me my ham and cheese sandwich after waiting 1 1/2 hours for it and I got a bun with one slice of deli ham, cheese, large chunks of tomato, lettuce, black olives and onions. Very disappointing for having to wait over 1 1/2 hours for a sandwich to only have one thin slice of deli meat. The room was extremely hot as well. When we commented on it to the waitress, we were told you should be here in the summer when it feels like 150 degrees. It definitely was not worth the price for the quality or service we received.

I had the pleasure of dining at Ginos, and it exceeded all expectations. The ambiance was inviting, the service was exceptional (A+++), and the food was simply magnificent. Despite arriving with a party of 11 at 9:20 PM, close to their closing time at 10 PM, the staff warmly accommodated us with top-notch service and delicious food. Robert was our waiter and he was wonderful! We enjoyed the restaurant so much we went two nights in a row. We had the all meat pizza and calamari the first night, it was delicious! I was in Galveston, staying at the Moody Gardens, for a conference. We wanted something that wasn t a chain restaurant - something that we could only get in Galveston - and Gino s did not disappoint. My entire team loved it.

Pretty good Italian food. The pasta we got was not from scratch, but their pizza dough is really good. Id definitely get a pizza from here, but wouldnt get any stuffed pasta from here again. Everyone that we interacted with had great attitudes. Id definitely go back just because of the service.

Had a large pizza with the works and some garlic/ cheese bread that was really good. Dinner salad with homemade Italian was also very good! Had only one small issue with the pizza. Its served on a flat pizza pan which lets all the water from sauce and vegetables soak under crust which gets it a bit soggy. But they do sell raised pizza pans just for that. Easy fix!

Delicious homemade Italian. We had the lasagna, chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, meat ravioli and chicken parmesan. All of them were outstanding! Staff was attentive and friendly. High quality food at very reasonable cost.

Went for lunch asked the server if I could substitute the tea for Dr. Pepper. Was told yes he could do dr. Pepper only to be charged 3.51 for it. Than he had an attitude when I said really. If you cant just tell the customer. Will not go back. Someone needs to get rid of the rude lying server. The food was good. But you need honest servers.

We had the sweetest server, Leslie, she went above and beyond for us and didnt seem to mind at all the back and forth to the table with our request. The food was amazing some of the BEST pizza weve had in TX as native Texans . We will be recommending Ginos to everyone.

The food was excellent! Plus the portions are very generous! We ended up bringing home enough for lunch today. The fried Ravioli was delicious! The waiter was very friendly and very good at his job! The only downside to to our whole experience was the restaurant was hot! The a/c can t keep up. I was semi comfortable but the hubs was dying from the heat. We will definitely be back.

Immediately disappointed when walked in. Expected fine Dining was very casual. No authentic Italian, restaurant or otherwise serves crackers with a salad; its bread first..always! No Tabasco for calamari so canceled order. The cheese manicotti was delicious however. My veal with lemon was horrid. Too much lemon, veal not flattened, and the lemon all over the spaghetti was awful. It may have helped if they used real lemon instead of bottled. Take this review for what it is worth and give it a try. Others have, and liked it. This authentic Italian did not (except for the manicotti filling which is a master feat to do well).

I found this hidden gem by chance and were glad we did. The people are so friendly. We ordered the lasagna, chicken parm, and fettuccine alfredo. I highly recommend the lasagna. The layered components in the lasagna were all even one did not overpower the other. You could taste the fresh tomatoes and herbs.
