We have been looking for a new Sushi restaurant since our old favorite place closed in Plano unexpectedly. We have been trying alot of different places lately. My wife tried this one first and then brought me in for a second opinion I have to say their food here is really delicious. Also the service was great and very attentive. Everyone of the staff was very friendly and inviting. Service was polite, fast and efficient. Everything we sampled was perfectly made and very fresh tasting. My only retraction would be their is no actual list of Beers or wines on the menu and it also appears to be sort of if ya know then ya know thing since their are no taps or bottles in view of the seating area for patrons. In fact we assumed there was none since only soft drinks and teas are on the actual menu. Our Hostess did not mention that they had beer either and I would not have know at all except I overheard a gentleman at the next table order a Sapporo (which I usually order with my Sushi) and would have been nice to have if we knew it was available. The restaurant itself is very clean and orderly and the hand painted art on the wall is spectacular. But they are in a really small suite and are very cramped for space. I would love to see what they could do with this restaurant if they where housed in a adequately sized building. Overall if you are out for a quick bite of some delicious freshmade Sushi and your in the area Id say give them a try.

i just spent 95$ on 2 rolls, 2 cups of rice, 1/4 pound of noodles, and they put mayo sauce on my wifes roll after i ask for none as she is allergic to mayo, THIS IS THE MC,DONALDS OF SHUSI do not eat at this place horrible

Few days ago, we have gotten their menu from the mail. So, my wife and I decided to go try it today. Gotta say, so glad we went. We had a such amazing experience. The staff were friendly and the food was very well displayed and delicious. The sashimi was very fresh, and the best part of it was, it comes with fresh wasabi. I have only had these kind of wasabi from high end fancy Japanese restaurant like Nobu, not expecting a hole in the wall sushi place like this to have it. Very impressed. Highly recommended to everyone, and definitely going back there again.

I had a great experience with their sushi, ambience and service! Their sushi is perfectly well made and so fresh, can t forget to mention that they have fresh wasabi on its natural form that tastes incredibly good. I also tried their hot dog with filet mignon on top of the hot dog and wow! I highly recommend this place.

Upon entering, there s a nice sized patio to dine on with seating for about 12 (although I m not sure I ll be out there in this 110° weather.) For starters, don t pass up the spicy edamame - it s insane and all of the basic rolls have a lot of fish inside great value also. The specialty rolls are great as well but I m more into the fish so I don t need all the fancy sauces and decorations that accompany them. Service is almost great when the owners are in-house, this place is no exception as they make sure everything is good and you are happy with your meal and service. The fish is always super fresh, which is more than I can say for 80% of the places I ve been. Definitely recommend this place, it s even worth a trip out in this sweltering heat

First experience was not great. Service was good, everyone very kind and polite. I was also the only person in the restaurant. Ordered 4 rolls and some shrimp fried rice. While I waited for it to be made she brought me my bill which was a bit of sticker shock but I thought that maybe the rolls are pretty big. My order was to go and when she brought out 2 small little bags and my heart sunk. I was pretty hungry and that did not look like a lot of food for what I just paid for. I got home and noticed I only got 3 rolls and the rice. Checked my receipt and sure enough they didnt even get my 4th roll on there, which made it even crazy more expensive for on 3 rolls. Plus the rolls were like small little, thin, 6 piece rolls each. Hardly what I would expect for that price. Wont be returning. Best of luck if you have a better experience.

I didn t hate it but I didn t love it either. I didn t like it enough for me to come back unfortunately. I got the lone ranger roll and popcorn shrimp volcano roll. The rolls underneath the shrimp were a bit wet and difficult to pick up with the chop sticks. They kept falling apart. In terms of flavor, I felt there could have been more. Lots of sauce on the rolls, but not enough distinct flavor

Stopped in on a Friday afternoon not expecting much since this seemed to be a bit of a hole in the wall type restaurant. Walking in, this establishment nailed the cozy sushi bar vibe to a letter. Chill music, deep dark colorful walls, and a beautiful mural only adored the extra decoration around the floor. The wait staff was very attentive and delivered my order in a timely manner. I ordered two rolls on this occasion, both were exquisite without needing extra soy or Wasabi to enhance any flavor. However adding the firecracker of Wasabi brought every bite to a new explosive level of delicious. Whether you are just looking for somewhere relatively inexpensive for sushi, or a night out with loved ones, I cannot recommend this location more, they will take care of you and so much more!

Was there for lunch on Thurs. October 20th. Myself, my husband and 7yo son. Ordered 4 rolls for mom & dad, one roll for our son, and the egg roll special to share. Instead of bringing all our food out together, each roll was brought over as it was completed. Strange. Ive never seen this method of service at a sushi restaurant. Had I known they were bringing them one-at-a-time I would have asked for my sons roll first. It took 30 minutes for his roll (basic Philly roll) to make it to the table. It was clearly meant for him as he excitedly ordered it himself. *When you have a hungry child waiting for their food WHY bring their roll last?* All that being said, the food was pretty great. Some of the rolls were cut unevenly, but the quality was high -- in line with their pricing. The murals and atmosphere were very nice.

The food was horrible! The spicy edamame tasted like it had been sitting for hours with it being super salty and not spicy. Then the over use wasabi on a roll-how the heck do they expect someone to eat something with an excessive use of wasabi. Oh and the miso soup-grossly salty as well. We ordered a roll and it was raw- nowhere on the menu does it show it is raw and the solution was for the cook to deep fry it and splattered wasabi. I came in here thinking it would be a delicious celebratory dinner and it turned out to be a huge mistake!

Long story short - never have I ever ordered salmon sushi and gotten it seared by default. If you order salmon sushi from here, you should make sure you tell them you d like it raw*** Frisco Sushi 469 was my go to sushi spot in Frisco. I always get the same 3 things: spicy edamame (my fave I ve ever had!! Love that it s tangy here), sake toro sushi (very well portioned and fatty) and the DJ roll (love the little lemon slices and ponzu on top of a salmon roll) Today I called in an order and ordered my usual but today, I got home and saw that my sake toro sushi was seared. Definitely not a usual thing and was not told by anyone that it would be seared. I thought it was a mistake and called them back to let them know that it was seared and I wanted it to be raw (like it usually is). The server on the phone told me that she didn t know why they seared it but they always sear the sake toro and the albacore and they always have. If you want it not seared, you have to let us know when you order that you d like it raw. She was nice to let me know that this was (now?) their norm and she offered to replace the seared sushi I received with a raw version if I brought it back. I would have gone back if I wasn t busy but took the L. I haven t been back since January 2022 and I should ve reviewed back then but I wasn t on my google review game back then. I will post my old pics up for comparison for the quality I loved and was a loyal fan for. Now I know!!!! To ask for all my sushi raw!!!!!!!

I was there on Jun 20 around 6PM. very disappointment on this place.. I came here for the online reviews however horrible services my order took almost 1 hour to be on my table, can you imagine waiting for almost 1 hour with a toddler ? after I finished my sushi since look kind it small I ask then to put another order they said another 1 hour.. I can say inside were about 50% of occupation.. what they said, they have to many orders (Online) instead. Why did you no communicate the long waiting time.. before putting my order in the first place. they were focuses only in the to go orders.. for sure I will never come back to this place.. This was my first visit here and I was pleasantly surprised. I sat out side on their little patio and the weather cooperated. Service was quick. I ordered tuna sushi and it came out very quickly. Not a lot of rice but a big piece of tuna on each one. I also ordered a roll and it was delicious. Had a kick to it with the spicy sauce but just right. The roll came out before I had finished the sushi. I ordered back another sushi plate with salmon and it was delicious as well. Looks like I found another good sushi restaurant at Teel and Main street in Frisco. I ordered a Coke to drink and it came out in the old fashioned bottle versus a fountain drink. That was a nice touch.

We came tonight for my daughter s birthday. Kim met us and made sure we were taken care of. My husband told her about the Oral Design Roll that he loved from Goro s in San Antonio. She went to talk to the chef and had him put together this beautiful creation! My husband LOVED it! Thank you Kim and Sushi 469 chef for making this a wonderful experience. We will visit often. When we called the restaurant they advised because GrubHub states no EXTRA plastic ware will be added they assume that meant leave off all those condiments. The sushi is good, but if they mess something up, they don t make up for it. Be prepared. We used to order from this place every single week. And as well as sushi for adults we started ordering hot dogs for the kids, I specifically asked anything spicy to be on the side. They put the spicy stuff on top of the hot dog, which made it spicy and the kids couldn t eat it and we had to throw it away. It s ok, things happen, as long as they try to make up for it. I called in the same night in order to give them a chance, explained the situation and they didn t pay enough attention except for saying they won t mess up next time. To be honest I was expecting Your hot dog is on us next time . Spending $70-80 every week in this restaurant I don t think it should be a big deal. Come next week when it s our family s weekly sushi night again, I gave them a second chance. I called in and said I wanted to place an order, but I d like them to cover the hotdog, please. They said they unfortunately can not do this . They remember my call from last week but they still can t. They can just make sure the order is right this time. Really? Not the customer experience I would expect especially being a regular customer. Not going back to this place anymore. There are so many options out there. I ll order for the weekly sushi nights from another restaurant.

If you like sushi even a little bit, you will love it after going to sushi express. We tried it for the first time last week and have been back three times already. My daughter had the California rolls, I had the rainbow rolls and my wife had the habiachi chicken. We love it all! What makes this place even better is that its close to our neighborhood and ready for pickup by the time we leave the house. The inside is clean and the staff is super friendly. If it wasnt for covid this would definitely be a place we would dine in. At the moment its only takeout. Looking forward to trying the other dishes!

By far the best sushi place in all of Frisco. I would normally give this place 5/5 stars, but last night they would not let me order a half portion of noodles for my very young daughter, as if it would inconvenience then so much to cook less food. However the main reason I am unpleased is because the tan and beefy cook with the baseball cap was staring at us from over the counter while we ate which made us very uncomfortable. I ordered the edamame and a three musketeers roll (pictured), and both were tasty. Atmosphere: Relaxed, but with a polished decor. There was a huge painting of a geisha on the wall in a modern style that was really well done, and there was live bamboo in pretty pots on all of the tables. They had pop songs playing on the radio a little too loud for my taste, but other than that it was a nice vibe.

We had lunch here and the best service. I had crawfish rolls and would order them again. My sister had a stir fry. We enjoyed our meal and plan to return to try different offerings. The menu was huge and offered stir fry and tempura in addition to pages of sushi and rolls. And this may seem like a small thing, but I really like ginger and they must prepare their own because it was the freshest and best tasting ginger Ive had. I believe if the ginger is that fresh and not from a jar then the chef must be as discerning about the sushi.

Just left the restaurant, had to write a review. The portion size was large, they definitely dont skimp you! And it was really, really tasty. My dad and I came in for my birthday, ordered a whole bunch of different rolls and sashimi, and all of it came out very fast and so very tasty. They even spotted me a tempura friend cheesecake! (Which you abs-so-lutely must try) Staff was super friendly, to boot! 10/10 local sushi place, do not regret feeling so full I had to be rolled out to the car. Will definitely be back!

Last Friday, my friend and I wanted to try a new sushi restaurant. From the moment we walked into the restaurant, we werent too sure of what to expect. We noticed that the prices were higher than expected. We ordered the pirate roll and the spicy tuna roll. We immediately noticed that the rolls had more meat than rice. The rolls are creative and the presentation was extremely well done. The food was really good. The Frisco roll was probably the table favorite as was the Pirate roll at a close second. Pot stickers, edamame, and dumplings are all good too. The service was extremely friendly and very attentive. We will be back.

I dont know how they do it. Their fish is fresh. The portions are LARGE. The delivery is amazing. And their prices are ROCK BOTTOM! I mean, you get a tuna roll (tekka maki) and there must me 3-4 ounces of fish i that thing! The nigiri sushi must have 1-2 ounces on EACH PIECE (2 pcs per order for $5!). I tried the Wasabi Shumai (fried) today--very tasty. My biggest concern is that they arent charging enough to stay in business. (By the same token, I hope they dont read this and raise their prices) Give em a try. Nothin better than sitting around in your bathrobe eating freshly made and delivered sushi!

This place is a hidden gem! The fish always tastes very fresh and the presentations are beautiful. The staff is always very friendly and attentive. Most of their business seems to be centered around take-out but they have a few, nicely-set, tables for dine-in as well. This also works to your advantage if you are looking to get in and get out quickly on a weekend night since Frisco seems to be plagued with long wait times during peak hours as of lately. Some of their other non-sushi menu items, like the stir fry noodles, are also very good!
