Bill took my unlawful carry case, I was feeling a lil uncertain but he managed to get charges dismissed - he s good lawyer, this is my third time hiring for services and he s came through each time !!! 7/16/24 UPDATE Bill told me at beginning of my case he can get dismissal and expungement,. I called Bill a few months back and was told I d have to wait 2years past arrest date to get expunged, it is now past that mark. I ve called Bill several times and his answering service says he is unavailable, he called me back once and I missed the call, Ive tried reaching him several times since and he hasn t responded back. My case that he said was dismissed does not show that it s dismissed on Dallas County website under dispositions, its just blank. I guess since he s already been paid I m unimportant now. This is sad customer service. I will seek another lawyer to get the job done correctly and will not be using Mr. Knox anymore. Be cartful, once he gets the money your not important .. Lesson Learned

Mr Knox is honestly the best! He helped me get my nephew out of jail when he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. The charges were outrageous with a 300k bond and every bails bond I called wanted collateral with at least 2-4 co signers. After calling Mr Knox, he assured me we would be able to get the bond reduced and he would work with us to get the charges dismissed. His team answered the phone each time I called and related any message I had to Mr Knox, I would get a phone call back each time. After he worked his magic on reducing the bond to 100k my nephew got released on an attorney bond. I went straight to him to pay the bond and he was out within 4 hours. We called Bill Knox because of a case that had many complications. We made the right choice! It was well worth every penny. My family member had been arrested in Wise County even though we lived out of state. Mr. Knox made arrangements to meet us when we got to Dallas. He was prompt and kind and very smart. Attorney Bill Know and Associates are tops in my book. I was charged with a charge that had implications of job loss, so I began the hunt for a competent attorney to represent me. I spoke with several attorneys who would not take my case because it was a municipal misdemeanor charge and they only took on the larger cases. Mr. Knox listened and agreed to take my case, he always treated me and my case as it was as important as a first-degree felony case. Mr. Knox and Ms. Winfield met with me and actually listened to me and my suggestions, this meant so much to me. My case lingered on for eight months and they stood beside me the entire time. After multiple state resets, the prosecution finally determined that they did not have sufficient evidence to proceed. My legal team of Mr. Knox and Ms. Winfield are the best, they stated from the onset that they didnt believe this case had any merit. After multiple inquiries and plea offers, they realized that my legal team was strong and would not retreat. Im writing this as a warning to those who may be considering hiring this attorney law firm. I know every case is different but in our case, my brother was represented by this law firm and now he sits in jail for something he didnt even do. My brother wasnt told anything until a few days before his hearing and were told that we had a strong case. Mr. Knox didnt even say anything the whole time of the hearing. Instead, another attorney was speaking on his behalf. He was advised one thing and afterwards said he should had did anothe. Ultimately, they convinced my brother to take a plead because it wasnt looking good, not knowing he couldnt appeal. We see so many families suffer and struggle with loved ones in jail for something they didnt do and being falsely represented makes appealing or proving innocent extremely difficult. Now we dont know where to go from here and i wish we could go back and hired another firm that would have be more invested in the case.

I had signed for SAF-P at my probation office in Ellis County. Immediately regretted the decision. I called a few lawyers and all said it was to late. I called Mr.Knox and he agreed to take the case right away without hearing the details. I paid him $5000 and he did nothing for me. I still went to SAF-P, Im still on probation. PLEASE look further for better representation. We paid Mr. Knox everything he asked for upfront opposed to the payment plan option. All we got the whole time were lies and false promises. My husband was incarcerated on a no bond, not only did Mr. Knox promise to have him home promptly, but he also guaranteed he can beat every charge. Two months go by after paying Mr. Knox and all we received were numerous unanswered phone calls and little to no info on the status of the cases. By the 3rd month my husband was fed up with the waiting so we took Mr. Knox off the case and pursued other representation. As If his poor work ethic wasn t bad enough he then made it a power struggle to receive any refund. In short Mr. Knox was paid $2500 for doing absolutely nothing. This was later confirmed for sure when the new representation we retained went over Mr. Knox paper trail. He in fact had done absolutely nothing significant over that 3 month span. He assured us the first week he filed for motions to set a bond on all 6 charges. In actuality he only filed for 1 motion and it was literally a week before we fired him. I am almost 100% sure that was only an attempt to save himself from a suit or possible disbarment. He knew we were well pass his procrastinating antics and poor work ethic. How his rating and reviews are decent after what I have experienced personally is BEYOND me. I just pray this review helps save someone if not everyone.

I contacted Mr. Knox last September after having a warrant issued for my arrest for violating probation by catching a new drug charge. Mr. Knox was able to not only get me a bond but at a low rate and I didnt even have to step foot in jail.
