So unbelievably good everytime me or my family comes. Havent found a dish we dont like, whether it be appetizers or entrees. Drinks are amazing, and their happy hour for food and drinks both are well worth the price. Highly recommend to anyone I speak to. I always order coconut shrimp everywhere I go in the world and this one they make is ridiculously well made and scrumptious.

I love all three locations and they each have their own vibe. Prosper/Frisco at Main/Legacy is the closest. The food is always good. The soups are all killer and a flight is available if you can t decide. On your first visit, they will give you a sampler. They have a crab bisque that s off menu. You just have to know. The grilled oysters are excellent. The fish and chips are always a good bet but the daily specials are hard to pass up. They always have a margarita or the day and you can get a flight of margs too. Honestly, if you leave here hungry, it s your fault!

I normally don t write reviews for restaurants but this one right here is an exception. The food was absolutely AMAZING and so fresh!! . I have tasted seafood food from all around and many upscale restaurants but this right here has the Caribbean, Cajun and Mexican in a one stop shop. My family and I met w the owner and had to personally give him his respect. The coconut shrimp is to die for ,made from scratch not that frozen food from the box that Texas usually serves and the Red snapper tasted like I just got off the Islands don t let 1 bad review keep you from this hidden Gem. Give it a try and if something goes wrong just ask the manager and or the staff as they are super friendly and very professional . I loved it and give it 5 stars and definitely coming back

This place has become one of my favorite seafood restaurants in frisco . Everything Iv had here taste really good . The calamari is amazing as well as the fish tacos , crab cakes, spinach , all the servers have been great . The only thing that needs working on is the drink timing . It take 20 mins to get bar drinks from the time you order them .

We came here for my birthday dinner after many recommendations. I was highly disappointed by this place. I was looking for a great fried shrimp or coconut shrimp dinner and what I received was extremely overcooked coconut shrimp, to the point, I couldnt even eat it. I mentioned this to our waiter and he did absolutely nothing. I was not offered for them to redo my meal, or any compensation at all for the overcooked meal. Overall, this place was not worth all the hype people had given it. For the money and the customer service, we will not be back again.

Woah! This is the best mariscos/sea food restaurants in Frisco! My family and I came by for the first time, and we ll definitely return. Expert chef, with reasonable prices. Our family of 4 enjoyed two orders of the Seafood Trio - a nice variety that includes catfish, oysters, and shrimp. You can choose blackened, grilled, or fried! I recommend all 3. I swapped my fries for a delish salad that had bacon and pears in it. The balsamic dressing was good and not too sweet. The hush puppies were also my fave. Everything was good especially the clam chowder. We had a sample as first time guests. The service was also great. We will be coming back. Dietary restrictions: Option to swap fries for vegetables and salad. Kid-friendliness: The kids menu offers a drink and an ice cream dessert. The kids fish sticks are NOT frozen. Our kids loved it.

After working in high-end Dallas restaurants, my expectations for food quality and value are quite high. That being said, I was pretty much blown away when my fish tacos arrived at the table. For approx. $15, I was hoping for a couple of great tasting tacos. What I received was a huge plate of perfectly seasoned tacos, fully loaded with fresh ingredients, enough to take home for dinner the next evening, even better day two!!! What a local surprise!! We order the Pecan Crusted Cod and the Ruby Red Trout. The Pecan Crusted Cod comes with sauce on it that tastes much like the Coconut Shrimp sauce. While sweet not overly sweet! My favorite was the Ruby Red Trout. It was amazing! All the flavors worked very well together!!! Would certainly order it again. If I could give some feedback to management it would be to offer some fresh French bread, and have the staff point out the specials. Being our first time here we missed the specials on the board. Overall a 5 Star Experience and we will certainly be back!!!

Being from South Louisiana, I can attest that the gumbo at Anaya s is legit! I ve lived here 15yrs and have yet to find a restaurant that makes a great gumbo. I literally did not need to add anything to it. The service is also great and everything else on the menu I has been so good. It does not disappoint.

Impressed all around. Service was amazing, and everyone seemed happy to be there and genuinely excited about their food. I tried the mahi taco special with grilled corn potato salad. Everything was fresh, bright, and full of flavor. Perfectly seasoned, balanced meals. My son got the kids burger, which was NOT an afterthought despite being a kids item at a seafood house. His fries were crispy outside and fluffy inside. I didnt try the burger, but I could tell it was cooked nicely. No hockey pucks here! He ate it up quick. They really hit on all cylinders, and I look forward to future visits.

We made a great choice to come here for a birthday celebration. The dessert proves it. See photo. We had eaten at their Plano location so we came here to try it. Smart move. Stopped in today as a first time guest. Linda was the first person I encountered. She was so friendly. She was not my server, but she went over and beyond to help her coworkers. She took my order, explained the menu, made suggestions, provided exemplary customer service. She really went over and beyond for me even though I was not at any of her tables. I was on the patio and Tony was my server who was also over the bar. Both did a great job but I wanted to call out how Linda was a refreshing sight to see. I hope the tip is shared with her! I ll be back to see Linda for sure!

Unfortunately, the food is so so. I came for the seafood enchiladas. They didnt have much seafood in them. The price should be closer to $10 instead of $20. It came with rice and a salad, which were ok. The restaurant seems dark and kind of old for being in a fairly new area. Service was ok. I spent $25 over.

Temp was 95 degrees outside and sub 70 inside. Nearly froze. Had to gulp things down and leave to warm up. Noise was deafening. No way to converse with anyone. Waiter went through a long spiel about something but couldnt hear OR understand him. Figured out as we were leaving that he was probably describing the large blackboard behind us with specials. It would have been good to know that BEFORE ordering. Catfish was very good, fries were OK but Cole Slaw was inedible unless you like your vinegar straight from the bottle. Not much for the price. Service 5 star. Food Amazing 5 STARS *WHILE SITTING IN THE BOOTH A COCKROACH CRAWLED ON MY SHOULDER! A friend and I went here because I can only eat fish. Alphagal Syndrome. I ordered the Baja fish tacos, dairy free. They were delish! The cooking staff was super accommodating. My friend ordered the California fish tacos. The FOOD WAS AMAZING!!!! I literally cannot say it enough. I hate that a stupid bug had to spoil the experience for me. The place was clean. It was pretty full with customers too. The fish was fresh. The veggies were fresh. The beans tasted amazing. When the cockroach crawled on my arm, and then continued to scurry on the booth padding and then along the wall I hit the roof. I don t make a scene. My friend and I went to the front, we let the manager know and he was super apologetic, told me I could eat for free anytime and thanked us for letting him know. I am not one to vouch for a free meal, they told us we didn t need to pay. He was very very professional. I think this is a situation where pest control needs to come out. They need to seal their leased space, and continue to make their delicious food. I have to be honest about the situation though. Food was decently priced, they had a large extra menu on the chalk board with specials and cocktails. We had the calamari for an appetizer and it was the freshest calamari I have had in a while. Dietary restrictions: I have alphagal syndrome so I cannot have mammal meat or bi products. They were very accommodating.

Ive been to other anaya locations and always had great experiences. I am unsure of this was a new chef or what was going on. Both mine and my wife food were extremely overcooked. OK, it happens but this should had never been sent out this way. They took the plates back and redid the dishes. However, this time it was a complete opposite, they were raw. We ended up taking the dishes home and I refried and finished cooking it to med rare. Unsure if we will come back to this location again. Oh and the shrimp was overcooked every single time. Likely a new line chef, but if this is the case, check it before sending out. Disappointing I put average service due to waiting extended periods of time waiting for water to be refilled.

We had dinner at this lovely restaurant for the first time with my husband, daughter, son in law and grand children. Firstly, the service was amazing from the moment we walked in. The waiter described the dishes and answered all of our questions. We ordered clam chowder as an appetizer and it was the most delicious we have ever had. My husband ordered fried catfish. I ordered red snapper with an etouffee sauce, steamed spinach, and cornbread. My daughter ordered tuna with a mango sauce and my son in law ordered seafood enchiladas. Every single thing we ordered was delicious!! Service was great! The restaurant was clean! That s it! We strongly recommend checking it out. My wife and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary and decided on this restaurant for lunch. The atmosphere is quaint and the dining area had plenty of room. It doesn t feel crowded at all. We told them it was our first visit and they brought us out complimentary soup samples of gumbo, clam chowder, lobster bisque, and roasted poblano. We decided on Fish-N-Chips, Dynamite Shrimp Tacos and the Bourbon street red snapper. Everything was absolutely amazing, the food, the waitress, and the manager. - First time visitor - Carry out order - I was promptly greeted as I entered. - My online order was ready when I arrived. - The space was clean as I walked to the rear of the restaurant to the bar for my order pickup. - I ordered the full size fried catfish platter with fries, tartar sauce, and ketchup. It also came with a side of coleslaw and 2 hushpuppies. - The fish looked good. It was crispy and brown. - It was seasoned okay, but not great. As a Southerner, I prefer my fish to be well seasoned, not spicy or cajun, just well seasoned. - This fish was bland by my standards. It was edible, but it could be improved with additional flavors and seasonings. - The fries and coleslaw were okay, nothing special. - I was disappointed in the portion size. I ordered a full size platter instead of the half size option. The full sized platter only had 2 filets and a handful of fries! The full order was $17.95 and the half order was $13+. Carry out orders charge a $1.75 convenice fee. Again, only 2 fillets came with the full size platter. - I appreciated that the staff read the special instructions and included the tartar sauce and ketchup as requested. - The photos represent the food as I received it. It truly is just a handful of fries. - I would visit again and try dine in service and possibly other menu items next time.

This was our first time dining at Anaya s in Frisco. I believe we have been to the one in Austin, if at all related, and found it to be disappointing. The atmosphere had Mardi Gras vibes which is fitting since this is a seafood restaurant with Cajun dishes. Our waitress was awesome and even brought out soup samples for us to try. The gumbo was delicious and my favorite. I got their margarita special and it was quite refreshing. We started with the crab cake which was good. It wasn t over baked and the crab was fresh. My wife opted for the gumbo as her main entree since she liked it so much during the sample and I got the red snapper special. DAMN it was filling. I was quite surprised at the portion. My wife practically drank up all her gumbo at light speed. Right before we finished our meal, I noticed this delicious looking dessert being brought out for the next table and asked the waitress to bring me the same one. It was the home made bread pudding. When it came out . Oh my . Succulent. My wife said it was too sweet but come on, it s dessert. By the time we (me) were done with the dessert, my shirt buttons and pant fly just about popped off. Wow. That is all I can say. This place is amazing. My wife and I just moved to frisco and was looking for a nice restaurant to hit up on a weekday after a long day at work. The service was impeccable. All the workers here were very nice and friendly. The food wow, we ordered their red fish special with asparagus and mashed potatoes, holy cow that dish was amazing. They don t over salt their food which is a huge plus. My wife and I also shared the clam chowder and also ordered their tuna fish dish, everything was amazing and highly recommend . We will be here often

Way better than what I was expecting! I ordered Mussels (comes in 2 sauce options), Broccoli, fried pickles and a mango dragon fruit margarita. This was my first time and first time guest receive a soup sampler and the soup was will be ordering the Roast Poblano heavy cream soup at next visit! All servers are very knowledgeable of the items on the menu! Spent Easter alone but never lonely! Surrounded by great people and great food!

OMG! Food was delicious. First they give you a sampling of 4 soups. I think we liked the poblano soup the best, but it was a hard decision. My husband had the salmon, which he devoured. I had the seared scallops and shrimp with basil brochetta relish. The scallops were so tender, I did not need a knife. It was phenomenal!! And our waiter, Jesus was excellent. His suggestions were top notch. We finished the dinner with the Homemade bread pudding which was scrumptious. We will be back!!

Great place to get some mexican fusion seafood. We went on a Monday and got to enjoy HH half price wine! We started with firecracker shrimp which were just ok. Very small shrimp and very little flavor despite what they are tossed in. We also had a blackened redfish special and the blackened tuna. All were pretty tasty. The tuna could use more sauce but was altogether was a good dish. Their mashed potatoes are nice and creamy. Our server was very nice and very helpful with menu suggestions, however, she was also the bartender so she was very busy. I wouldnt mind this place being an order at the front counter kind of place. There are a lot of places in DFW that serve terrible seafood so I am glad that we have found some place near home to go to that is good.

First time coming here with the family and the food was amazing! Lets see.. we got the calamari (best weve ever had, soft and tender), hushpuppies, 1/2 doz east coast, and fish and chips. My wife got the scallops special, which was again, soft and tender and just cooked right (if youve had scallops before, youll know). Food and atmosphere was great, but the star of our experience was our server, Jesus O. The man had energy and non-stop attention to all his tables. Friendly and welcoming, like we were guests dining at his house. This review is for you man! Keep up the awesome work. I wished all servers had his level of professionalism.

Tried Anayas out today and had a wonderful experience!! The staff was very welcoming and friendly! The restaurant was nice and looks well cared for. Very clean. They have indoor, outdoor, and bar seating. They even gave me a sampler plate of their soups which was super cool! I ve never been offered that and it definitely got me to buy one of the soups! They were ALL amazing! For my entree I got the Garlic Parmesan Flounder and it was REALLY good! Lots of flavor and left me satisfied. I ended up getting a cup of the Roasted Pablano Cream Soup! I definitely recommend. In fact, everything I tried today, I loved and will be back. I can t wait to show my husband this place! ***The only issue I did have was that it was happy hour and the waitress tried charging me full price for my cocktail when it was supposed to be $7.95. She fixed it when I brought it to her attention. So no big deal

Everything we had was exceptional from the appetizers to desserts. The clam chowder was like it was made in Maine and the keylime pie tasted just like it was made in the Florida Keys! If I could put more than 10 stars on this review I would... we live in Frisco Area and this is by far the best seafood Ive ever had.every time we want authentic seafood we are going to Richardson seafood restaurant but now this is one of our favorite places , We eat crab clusters alot and this was seasoned to perfection. Tried them out this week and EVERYTHING was so dang good. They make a great Old Fashioned (and HH is until 7 pm!) We had the Coconut Shrimp & Calamari for an appetizer. They brought everyone in our group the Soup Sampler, which included (in order of my preference): Clam Chowder (loved that this was like a chunky soup!), Roasted Poblano, Gumbo & Crab Bisque - all of them were good but that Clam Chowder tho I had a cup of it to start my meal. I also had the Dynamite Shrimp Tacos for my entree and they were very good as well. Highly recommend checking them out!

This was our first time at Anaya s. We were very impressed! The shrimp cocktail was unique and is not to be missed. The oyster Rockefeller was excellent and we finished with the flounder with shrimp stuffing, which was excellent as well. Blake, our server, was fantastic and really took an interest in making sure we had an excellent dinner! One of the owners also came out and said hi, which was a great personal touch. The prices are very reasonable, and we highly recommend this as a great local spot for dinner.

It was my first visit to one of their locations, so I received a soup sampler which was AMAZING! All of the soups were delicious and super flavorful. The oysters were phenomenal and left me wanting to order more. The drinks were great! The service was wonderful and we always had everything we wanted or needed. So good! Great atmosphere. Crab cakes were great. The first time anywhere gave me a free soup sampler because it was my first time there. Baja tacos were amazing. The char grilled oysters were the best I have had in years. Miguel was very hospitable. Couldn t recommend more for a weekend lunch or brunch. I will be coming back here after golf on the weekends.
