The rooms were on the smaller side. There was lots of trash in the pool. For an Omni I would have expected more out of the hotel. It was nice and clean outside of the pool area. There is not much to walk to around the hotel. Lots of nice expensive restaurants in the immediate area. But closest gas station was a 20 min walk Rooms: Rooms were smaller for an Omni Walkability: Not much to do within walking distance at all.

If I could take back my previous stars reviews from my previous experiences I would, that is not right people have to use the restroom after drink people.

I recently stayed at the Omni Hotel at the Star Frisco and had a wonderful experience overall. The location is amazing - right in the heart of The Star and close to so many great restaurants and shops. The room was spotless and very comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. I also want to give a shoutout to the staff, especially Susan, who went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed during my stay. She was so kind and helpful, which really added to my experience. The only downside was that on the morning of checkout, I was awakened three different times by housekeeping between 8:25 and 9:50 to ask what time I would be checking out. As a mom of two young children, I rarely get a morning to sleep in, so I was really looking forward to it during my staycation but unfortunately feel like I was shorted. Overall, I would still recommend the Omni Hotel at the Star Frisco for its great location, clean rooms, and friendly staff. Just make sure you re an early riser!

This was our very first experience with the Omni in Frisco. From the moment we walked through the doors we were in love! The nice valet team, lovely fragrance of the hotel and smiling faces at the front desk set the tone as it offered the warmest welcome. The hotel is just lovely!! Our room on the 16th floor was perfect!!!!! Nice, tidy, & very clean. Beds are very comfy. No complaints. Oscar delivered towels and really made my night. His pleasant spirit and nice compliments were so kind. Every staff member was just phenomenal our entire stay!! This will most definitely be our choice of hotel when visiting the area. Special thanks to the entire team here. We appreciate your diligence ensuring guests are the priority and for providing first class service. You ALL rock!!! -The Houstons (Arkansans) 10/10

These ladies were bullies that discriminated against us because my husband was a vet. That s my husband checking us out at the counter. I wish I could post everything that transpired but I will try to upload a small portion of my grievances. They gained up on me like gang member. I felt like they both were going to jump me. I was afraid for my life, so I left the same night I checked in. My post is out of order because I am only able to post bits and pieces. I will never go back and I am going to make sure my family and friend dont go. What Transpired This is how everything transpired. The temperature inside our house reached around ninety degrees Fahrenheit on July 4th due to a malfunctioning air conditioner. Being at home with my health difficulties and those of my spouse was just not possible. At that point, we decided to book a room at the Omni Hotel, which was conveniently located near our house. Upon arriving, my husband checked us in, and within minutes, we received the room key. As we made our way to the lobby of the hotel, we collected our belongings as well as our puppy. We informed the front desk that our dog would be staying with us before taking the elevator. Mind you we were making our reservations online; we did not find any information about Omnis pet policies nor at the front desk. We firmly believe that it was not our responsibility to mention our pet in advance, as the hotel did not ask us before check-in. Most hotels clearly state their pet policies on their website or at the front desk. Before entering the elevator, one of the ladies gestured for us to sign a document at the front desk. Since I felt on the verge of having another seizure, I told her that she could provide us with the documentation, and we would return it after my husband helped me upstairs. Upon reaching our room, my husband thoroughly reviewed the documentation and vocalized its contents to me. Due to a lack of prior disclosure, we firmly objected to their pet policy and promptly made our way back to the lobby to address the issue. The Omni wanted to charge us $150.00 for accommodating our pet, which was rather surprising. This additional cost almost equaled the room rate, which was approximately $155.00. Unfortunately, this information was not readily available online or in the hotel lobby, and had we been informed in advance, we would have reconsidered our choice of accommodation. We came back down, and we approached Brittany at the front desk. Transpired Out of Control She blotted out by saying your dog isn t a service animal hes an emotional service animal and let me tell you why I know this. Because hes in a crate and not on the leash. Confident in her acknowledgement of us. Again, she never bothered to ask us why he was in a crate and not on a leash. She asserted her expertise on the topic, displaying a notable level of arrogance. When I questioned her qualifications, she insisted that her position at the Omni hotel made her an authority and us not having any physical elements wrong with us. She continued stating that our dog did not perform is a service dog but an emotional service animal. Despite my attempts to reason with her, she remained unwavering in her stance. This interaction left me feeling incredulous and frustrated. Nugget, a well-mannered and mature dog, belongs to a breed recognized for providing companionship. However, Nugget also plays a significant role in assisting my husband with his mental health issues, as advised by the VA psychiatrist who has been treating him for a decade. This recommendation stems from my husbands reluctance to use medication. Nugget is essential in grounding my husband, preventing episodes from exacerbating, particularly instances where he vocalizes distress towards deceased individuals from his time in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The is an extremely nice hotel. The lobby is beautiful, and as they say, everything is bigger in Texas. The lobby is no exception. All of the staff have been extremely friendly and accommodating. Dorothy has been especially kind to us. The location is perfect. Plenty of restaurants to eat and places to visit. There is abundant night life too. The mall is also nearby and Ubers are very cheap! The rooms are very modern and updated, yet have room for improvement. The beds are comfortable and the rooms were spotless upon our arrival. There are a few inconveniences. Firstly, our shower only had half a door. Maybe poor design choice or the door is just kidding, but showers left our bathroom floor soaked! Secondly, there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, so showers would steam up the whole bathroom. Third, there was only one hook in the entire bathroom. It was always a fight to hang things on it. Finally, the keycards were inconsistent with opening our door. They felt very temperamental and only would work 80% of the time. Oh, and the spin cycle of their washing machines simulates an earthquake on their 4th floor pool deck. The whole outdoor area shakes and initially, we were convinced there was some seismic activity. Turned out to be machinery!! Overall, we would stay here again. I m hoping improvements can be made in the future to make the bathrooms more inconvenient. I also don t understand why the public restrooms use two ply toilet paper, meanwhile, the guest rooms use one ply. Oh well, just a small observation haha. We were very happy with our stay.

Asked for a premier room on a high floor on the corner. Preferably not near kids. Their premier rooms are just the standard room on a high floor so unless you really need to stare out the window...save a hundred a night and pass. No corner room like I asked, and right next to kids. Got a king room. Might as well have asked to stay in a hobo box it was so small. Staff were less than helpful. Room was motel 6ish. I have stayed in tons of omnis. They should be downgraded to a Marriott at best at this point. Go anywhere else and save yourself a headache.

Im not one to write reviews, but after our recent stay at this Omni hotel, there was no way I couldn t leave this review. (Please read to the end to understand where this is going lol) .. What most would describe as a great hotel stay is one with no issues, nothing out of the ordinary, just a nice quiet stay, where everything ends up being just as normal and uneventful as you hoped it would be ..But what I now realize after my stay at this Omni hotel is that what actually makes a hotel great is the exact opposite .it s when you happen to experience an issue during your stay and the hotel/staff go ABOVE AND BEYOND to accommodate you, make you feel comfortable, and make you feel like you are being 100% taken care of .No questions asked ..And when I say above and beyond .honestly, I was floored. Like, so impressed that, I m still in shock by the AMAZING response from this hotel/staff. And let s be honest, this type of customer service/hospitality should be the normal, but in today s day and age, it is just not. Nonetheless, what I can confidently say is that this Omni hotel and staff got it EXACTLY RIGHT. I would stay at this hotel 100 times over knowing that my stay will more than likely always be great, but..even MORE importantly, knowing that if I was ever to encounter an issue during my stay, it would be addressed EXACTLY how this hotel staff treated our situation .They made us feel like true guests in their hotel, with a respect and kindness that still has me floored. Honestly, it was the most refreshing and amazing demonstration of hospitality service that I have ever experienced at a hotel, EVER. If I could give this hotel 6 stars I would because what s even better than a great hotel stay is when the hotel/staff are given the opportunity to show just how amazingly capable and accommodating they really are. That is what it s all about.

Each year I celebrate my birthday with a stay at a fabulous hotel followed by dinner and dancing! This year I chose the Omni Hotel at the Frisco Star! Me and 9 girlfriends first had dinner at the Neighborhood Services restaurant within the hotel itself. After dinner, we hopped over to Concrete Cowboy, whose clientele was a little younger than we preferred so we ended up at Sambuca in nearby Plano. The Omni Hotel did not disappoint. My room was clean and thoughtfully laid out in terms of flow and decor. I loved the added touch of including a small bottle of wine and a chocolate dessert to help me begin birthday festivities. There were 2 things I especially enjoyed: the views from my room and many photo opportunities in the hotel lobby. I will definitely recommend the Omni Frisco without hesitation! Nearby activities: Various restaurants and clubs!

Guest service second to NONE. Had a reservation and big plans with several friends who flew out for the Big 12 Championship tomorrow and are staying in town to catch the Cowboys/Eagles game next weekend. Was going to surprise them with a stay in one of the Omnis top luxurious suites next week but unforeseen complications from surgery following a recurring joint infection has me stuck in the hospital and therefore unable to revisit this gorgeous hotel unfortunately unable to attend either game. I was blessed to be the guest of a previous guest at this amazing hotel, and trust me, it does not disappoint... but this review is specifically for Brandon, the amazing young man at the front desk who took my call this evening to cancel my reservation after doctors confirmed I was not going home anytime soon. While on a brief hold so Brandon could finish up with the guests he was with when I called, I began to worry because I dont have my wallet with me, it is home with my jewelry, etc which would have complicated things if my cc # was needed. But before I could waste any further time needlessly worrying, Brandon hopped back on the phone and informed me he had found my reservation using my phone number and had canceled the reservation! While Im devastated that my surprise will have to wait until next year, and it sucks being stuck in the hospital, Brandons initiative and kindness made a world of difference for this Cowboys/Omni Frisco fan!! Yall are blessed to have such a wonderful young man attending to Front Desk Services. Thank you, Brandon!

The Cowboys themed hotel is so awesome if youre a fan especially. I was enjoying a number of the decoration connecting with the Cowboys. You see that throughout the hotel and room. I will definitely go back. My favorite Omni hotel for sure!

Place was pretty basic which is crazy considering they have cowboys everything, but the (Queens beds) feel like twin. My feet were going over the foot of the bed. The room had nothing really memorable. The ladys at the desk were nice, the valet, and the breakfast chef/waiter were really nice. The older guy that does the tour of the building is filled with knowledge and really brings you into the Cowboys warmth. The breakfast that was given itself was the basic run of the mill muffins, boiled eggs, kolaches, oatmeal, and coffee with the normal half and half, but the waiter took care of us. We had a stunning view and thats all this hotel could offer aside of the facility of the Cowboys themselves next to it. I gave this place a average considering Ive seen hotels like the Hyatt with a better feel to them then what was presented. Its average at best but lower than that for the price tbh.

A week prior to our reservation, I reached out to the hotel via email to request an early check-in. This was because I planned to surprise my husband with a one-night stay at the hotel for our 12th anniversary. Although our home was just a short 25-minute drive away, I wanted to create a quick and delightful getaway for us, away from our children. The hotel staff was incredibly responsive and efficient. Upon our arrival at the hotel, we were not only granted an early check-in but were also pleasantly surprised to find our bed beautifully decorated with rose petals, towel swans, and chocolates. Their attention to detail left a lasting impression on us. To make our anniversary even more special, the Omni team later delivered a complimentary dessert to our room in celebration of our anniversary. This unexpected gesture truly enhanced our anniversary experience at the Omni.

If someone is not there to hold the door for you..YOU actually have to open the door for yourself... I was like nope...for the amount of $$ they charge, the door needs to open automatically... Thats just my personal opinion...but other than that... It was a cool experience

I decided to take a last minute staycation on September 17th, which Omni Frisco has been my favorite staycation spot ever since it opened. As a Black Tier Select Guest Member, Tsianna, who is the Loyalty Ambassador, did great in accommodating my room requests with amenities and double upgraded my room type to allow me to have a great view overlooking the plaza at The Star. Tsianna surprised me with an email with a bar code for tickets to the Cowboys vs. Jets game. Little did I know when I arrived at AT&T Stadium, I had access to a suite and Miller Lite Lounge, which allowed me to be in the tunnel where the Cowboys players enter and exit the field. The experience was amazing, which I felt as if I was a VIP since I was escorted by an usher to the suite upon arrival. Tsianna definitely went above and beyond to make me feel like a special Omni guest with the tickets, which Im sure was partly due to my tier status. The entire front desk staff was phenomenal and friendly during my interaction with them during check-in and check out. I couldnt have asked for a better staycation experience, which they set the bar high and makes it hard to beat for the few other Omni properties that Ive stayed at over the past 13 years when I signed up to become an Omni Select Guest Member. Walkability: The hotel is located at The Star in Frisco, which is where the Dallas Cowboys Headquarters and Training Facility is located. If youre lucky, you may see a player or two walking around during the eve of their home games. The plaza behind the field is great for throwing a football around with your kids, or watching a Cowboys or College football game on the jumbotron, which a lot of people come out to enjoy, especially when the weather is nice. The Star has numerous restaurants for dining/drinking pleasure within walking distance to include Cane Rosso for pizza, Sushi Marquee for sushi, Mi Cocina for Tex-Mex, Snowbird for Asian Fusion, Dee Lincoln Steakhouse, Monarch Stag Cocktail Lounge, Wahlburgers, The Common Table, Tupulo Honey, Ascension Coffee, and Concrete Cowboys and City Works for sport watching. The newly opened 23,000 sq ft venue called Sidecar Social is a great family-friendly place since it has various games (skeeball, fooseball, basketball hoops, ping pong table) and numerous TVs to watch your favorite team(s) while dining and hanging out with friends. They also have a climate controlled indoor patio. If you like to sing, Petes Dueling Piano Bar is also located at The Star. If you like to shops, theres a handful of boutiques and stores, and Cowboys Fit to get a workout in.

The experience at Omi Star was very pleasant. Parking was average price for a hotel. It s walking distance to everything there. The hotel bar was nice and prices were average. Breakfast was pretty good, although not the best we ve had for the price. When we stayed we upgraded to what I think its a junior suite, but didnt seem to much different than the average room. The bathroom was neat it did have a huge soaking tub, and automatic blinds. We got a little bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries sent up to the room which was nice. The pool was neat I think it was on the 4th or 5th floor. Check in and out was smooth. Overall it was a great experience and I would stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location and the surrounding area is excellent for sports fans and those who want a unique experience with the Dallas Cowboys culture in the Star district. I was disappointed my email address and personal details were made public when a mass email was sent out to all guests arriving on the same date as I was. When I brought this up to the staff and management at the front desk, they dismissed my concerns and stated it was just a glitch in the system. I feel uncomfortable with this and believe this matter should be taken more seriously. Nearby activities: Highly recommend taking the guided tour of the area to appreciate the history and vision behind the scenes of the Dallas Cowboys.

My sisters and I could not WAIT to review Omni Frisco at The Star! From start to finish, it was exquisite five-star service. When checking in, we pulled into the front of the hotel and every Valet employee we encountered was incredibly polite, gracious, and so helpful. Mind you it was mid-June in the dead heat of sweltering summer and yet they all had smiling faces and were eager to assist. We requested weeks in advance for a crib and adjoining rooms and not only did they deliver on both but also a thoughtful milk and cookie treat was included! The rooms were pristine clean and we had a great view as well! Fantastic location and can t wait to return for sure. A special shout-out to Juan Carlos who checked us in - outstanding customer service!!

The patio decor is very comfortable. The suites are the best with the soaking tub. You can drink a glass of wine while you are soaking and looking out a large floor to ceiling window at the skyline and city lights. Its a quiet hotel to chill at. The pool does play really loud music so keep that in mind when selecting a room. This was because of the amazing servers that were helping us during our breakfast, lunch, and dinner times. Some of them were Maria, Mauricio and many others that were a pleasure to greet every day we were there. Here s our highlight, Alaska, of the concierge s I believe was absolutely amazing. While I attended my event my mom was in the room and sometimes in the lobby hanging out and he made sure she was comfortable and taking care of her. He went above and beyond. Thank you to everyone here for giving us a wonderful experience with more than 120 people attending the event. Everything went smoothly.
