Aftr todays experience we wont be coming back. No where is there a sign that states yu have to order 1st before going to sit in a table or booth. It was tacky,unavoidable & not necessary at all. We have been coming here every Wednesday & spend money at your establishment to be treated this way was not cool. This was a nice surprise on my trip, I ticked off one of my bucket lists for sure. Check out my photos and find out why, a clue celebrity. The place should be bigger because people like this place. I would say that it can contain approx 50 people comfortably. They sell large portions. Blueberry Soda was nice. Parking: Sufficient parking for a normal day. I went during lunch and was able to find parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access. Toilets are large enough, but support railings might not be available. Sure if you need extra support the staff are happy to help.

Where to start. Walk in and tell my young kids to sit down as they were busy so they wouldn t be in the way, immediately a rude employee says no they can t do that with an attitude. Secondly, should ve known better than to order a brisket sandwich at a burger joint. Brisket was dry and over salted. Asked for BBQ sauce to make it more edible the OWNER was rude and replied it s not bbq. Okay, people put whatever condiments they want on their food. If I wanted to add chocolate to it that s MY choice. Absolutely no need for the attitude! The burgers and onion rings were good though. Definitely a one and done type place for us, especially with the terrible customer service received. Food wise I d go 4 stars. Customer service for sure 1 star. P.S. to add, the brisket sandwich gave me food poisoning. Will NEVER RETURN NOR RECOMMEND!!!

I wouldn t recommend this restaurant to anyone due to the racist owner. I was asked to leave the parking lot. I was trying to decide what I wanted to order for carry out. The owner comes outside and asks me to leave. He stated that the parking lot is only for paying customers. I could have been a potential customer. The owners approach made me feel uncomfortable and very unwanted. I have heard the food is really good but I refuse to give my money to a racist owner..

One of the iconic burger joints in Dallas. Owner and team are coordinated excellence. Food comes out fast and correct every time. Get the fried bologna, salmon burger and a classic cheeseburger, add cheese tots with jalapenos and bacon. Large portion sizes (burgers are a stated 1/2 lb) at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend this place. Staff are trained and super friendly. Great atmosphere with high quality greasy spoon vibe. Beer on tap along with Abita Root Beer.

We were looking for something open on this 4th of July. stopped by here for a late lunch since it was very close to where we were. The restaurant is small and there were plenty of people inside. the atmosphere was pleasant and the staff ok. We ordered burgers and I had cheese fries on the side, while the Mr. ordered tots without the cheese. It was pretty good size meat but a little on the greasy side. The bread is super big. I had to use s fork and ended up eating a lot of it without the bread. The cheese fries were pretty packed together and stuck from the cheese. It had to really be taking apart to just be able to eat it. We did not finish our meals and ended up taking 1/2 to go. Try it out if youre in the area.

Let me start....you will miss this place if you dont have this set as THE destination. It is without a doubt the best brisket sandwich Ive had.....local sodas on tap with a plethora or beer on tap as well! The price is very good considering quality. The walls are adorned with countless celebrities and high profile people that have visited. Before I share the experience I had today, I d like to point out a pattern I ve noticed with all the bad reviews about this place. They all mention how unwelcoming the owner is, how hes a bully, and how condescending he can be. If you look at all the bad reviews, you can see his replies; the tone of them is just very snarky and unpleasant. Interestingly, he won t reply to the reviews about his restaurant being prejudiced towards kids, which is very strange. One of the reviews mentioned how some kids were asked not to stand in the booths by the owner not even that they were already standing in them, just that he told them not to out of nowhere. He replied to this review by saying, Keep your children s dirty feet out of the booth, calling kids dirty. What a guy. You can find the review, and the rest of it is just him being snarky again. Now for my experience today. I came with my younger cousin and uncle. While we were sitting and waiting for our food, a man walked in and just asked to use the restroom. The guy wasn t doing anything wrong he wasn t being loud or disruptive. From another review I read, they ve had bad experiences with non-customers using the restroom, but that customer was drunk. The man that asked to use the restroom today was not drunk; he was just hot and needed to use the restroom. One of the employees said the bathrooms are for customers only. I just want to say that I ve been here plenty of times and have used the restroom before even ordering, so I just thought it was strange. This interaction caught my uncle s attention. When the owner was running the man off back outside, it was at least 95° outside. My uncle said to the employee, He s not a threat; he means no harm. One of the employees asked my uncle, What s wrong? How can I help you? I work here. My uncle repeated, He s no harm. My uncle sat down, and our food came out. The owner and some other employees came to our table serving us our food. Before all the other employees could even put any of our food down, the owner said, So what s the issue? My uncle said, He meant no harm. The owner replied, He was a homeless guy and was trying to hang out in here. We don t do that. He ended up telling us, If you don t like it, we can just give you your money back and you can leave. The owner just isn t a people person. The man wasn t trying to hang out; he was trying to use the restroom. The very least you could have done was allow him to use the restroom and then ask him to leave. I ve been here plenty of times, and the service is usually great. How is it that one of the times I come and the owner is here, this is my experience? I guess the bad reviews are right about him. What I thought was really funny is when he came up to our table and was being a jerk, all the other people carrying our food looked at him like they were thinking, Is he serious? Here s what I can say: when someone needs help, you help them. All that guy was asking to do was use the restroom. It was hot, and he wasn t making any kind of disturbance. He could ve used the restroom and then left.

I wanted to try the place since they had so many reviews. Great atmosphere for a beer and burger. I had the brisket burger and I was disappointed. Love the bun and topping but the brisket was over cooked. The brisket still had just enough softness but no seasoning. It was like it needed sauce with it. Went with the family; the owner dude basically hovers over every encounter. This wouldn t be a bad thing, if he wasn t rude and overbearing. He tried to force us, three kids and wife, to sit at a table and chairs because he didn t trust us. He said: As long as they don t stand in the booths, they are expensive to replace . This may be the dumbest thing a restauranteur has ever said to me, was in fine dining for 6+ years. To put it into context, we were all dressed nice for Mothers Day. I came on to post a review of my experience today and ironically, someone named John posted about it before me. I can say the experience was very upsetting and disappointing. I witnessed the manager, who was an older man, aggressively berate and yell at two women, one of whom was pregnant. My husband and I were right next to them and witnessed the whole conversation from start to finish. One woman suggested the manager consider an exception to his seating policy for pregnant women. The manager immediately started yelling and ranting loudly. He did cuss quite a bit throughout the ordeal. The women did not. Both women were calm and polite despite the manager responding to their accommodation request in a shockingly aggressive and belligerent manner. Unfortunately, I can say I have seen this manager respond aggressively to minority customers in the past. This will also be our last visit due to the managers repeated inappropriate and aggressive behavior. It is just unpleasant and ruins everyones meals.

The two women were calm and asked him to stop talking to them then left. He hollered at them and called them cusswords as they walked out. The burger and chicken sandwich are worthy of more visits. French fries are just OK, never eat them all, and havent ordered their onion rings. Maybe something totally different next time.

This is best burger I ve ever had. It s perfect, juicy and delicious. I get the cheeseburger with everything and it s always consistently delicious. I don t eat burgers anywhere else anymore because they just don t compare. I d rather drive 45 minutes to get the best. The staff is really nice and courteous from the moment we walk in the door. We try to make it out there at least once a week for both the food and the atmosphere.

This is a massive burger so make sure to come hungry. I always get the Bacon Cheeseburger all the way, but I substitute American cheese and add mayo. What sets this burger apart, other than the great quality, is that they use dill relish. You get pickle in every bite instead of ripping out a whole pickle and it being overwhelming. Been coming here for years and its been consistent even if I have a dry spell with them. Great job guys.

The least we can say is that they know how to make burgers. I ate a double cheese with caramelized onions. And a fries. It was simply extremely well done. They also have some nice beers. It s very quick, it s practical for families. Small downside about plastic cutlery when eating on site.

Ordered a burger and brisket sandwich. They were ok. The fries tasted fresh and really crispy though. The burger came out in about 5 minutes, so not too long of a wait. I felt the employees were kind of rude from the moment we entered until we left.

Never spoke to the rudest person until now. Placing a simple order for pickup ended up being with the nasty man canceling my order because apparently he doesn t know how to write a simple order! I had heard about this place from one of my patients at work and decided to take my mom who was visiting in town for the weekend. It absolutely lived up to the hype. We were greeted with smiles by the owner and staff immediately after walking in the door. Staff was friendly and willing to help provide recommendations for what to order. Food came out quickly and burgers were AMAZING! We got the cheeseburger with pepperjack and some of the loaded cheese fries. If you want a quality tasting burger that actually has a patty with meat, look no further, this is THE place to go. Wait staff checked in with us multiple times and were always ready to assist! Upon leaving we were thanked for coming in and the staff even waved to us in the parking lot. This place is seriously the example to follow if you want to know what good service looks like. Will definitely be returning!!! Big fan of Maple and Motor :)

Cool little spot. First time here. $16 (included was a $.50 merchant fee???) for a cheese burger and fries only. A bit steep but that s fine. 3 stars because I was asked if I wanted the meat well done or pink. Told them pink. I also asked for mayo. Nice young lady brought out the food. Asked for ranch. Was told they charge for ranch. Passed. Patty was burned to a crisp. Dry as hell. And, no mayo like I asked for. I m not one to start a scene so I finished my meal and left. Not sure I would recommend the spot. Can t tell if this was just a fluke or if this is how it is. My friend had the same order and the feedback was the same. Except his was under seasoned. So he had to salt and pepper his burger too.

I wish I still lived in Dallas. * i left dallas in 2013. i have a friend there who still goes - we used to try to find the best burger and m&m won hands down. here in ATL they rave about the NFA burger, but it doesnt even come close. nothing has. keep it up. first place i will eat when/if i ever get back to dallas! *
