Terrible experience with Sarah particularly. My coparent withheld my ability to see my infant on multiple occasions, Sarah charged me for documentation that didn t improve or remedy the situation; the coparent was not held accountable whatsoever. The response I received from filing the expensive paperwork Sarah s firm advised was my coparent filing a false police report saying their vehicle was broken into implicating me for which I had proofs were 100% false (the vehicle was NOT broken into or tampered with and I was nowhere remotely close to area it was located at the time in question). I was required to meet at police stations following that accusation - know what the coparent showed up in?? The undamaged vehicle in question on the DAY FOLLOWING the accusation. (For the record, it s supposed to be a crime in Texas to file a false police report). Again, none of it mattered when we *never made it to court* saddled with $25k worth of representation debt (when the standard for family court settlements is ~$11k to my understanding), a hefty child support amount, and ONE day more than a standard possession as a non-custodial parent. I wrote her an angry, frustrated who do you work for here? email to which she felt the need to call me personally at 3 am having me tell her I thought she was the perfect person to help me with my situation or she would be resigning my case. Should ve dropped her then and there. I m an honorably discharged veteran, a former federal employee, an Eagle Scout, etc. I was up against someone with a an assault record. Continuously told her firm I wanted a 50/50 coparenting agreement and wasn t trying to skirt child support because I didn t think it would help my case. Not what was presented at the 2-3 court days we were supposed to have, I took off work for and made special arrangements for but didn t actually take. We never made it to court - ended up in mediation with a RETIRED judge who didn t read or pay any attention to the facts of the case whatsoever as his blanketed opening statement at mediation was - I don t care what the facts are here, I m not taking any child away from his mother short of something drug related - a determination based solely based on gender/sex. I did 90% of the talking during mediation; Sarah and her assistant sat there and barely spoke. I m not an attorney. I didn t get paid $25k to represent someone. Had no idea what I was doing. Sarah worked with the coparent s attorney and came up with a 30+ page document that provides more coverage for my co-parent than me and I was billed for it; co-parent walked away from the case on a pro-bono basis. If I mess up, jail time and fines. If the co-parent messes up, there would be hefty court fees for me to enforce anything and then next to 0 repercussions for them. My coparent has been so empowered by how easy it was to walk over me that she has continued to violate the agreement (never missed a day with my son, coparent s missed a plethora; coparent doesn t send written updates when our circumstances change, I ve had to; coparent moved outside the agreed upon living area, repercussions are supposed to be me becoming custodial, NOPE; coparent filed 2 more false police reports since implicating but not naming me to avoid harassment charges, nothing stopping them). If you re a single father out there for any reason and are looking for help, know upfront no one (courts, attorneys, etc) cares about the dad s rights or involvement in a child s life. Since the resolution, I ve struggled to make ends meet between the debts and my obligations. Think when I m struggling to this degree that I can afford or would even bother going back to court to have my coparent held accountable for the violations?? Steer clear of Sarah s firm; felt massively overcharged for the minimal support or intervention I received from them.

If you are a dad I wouldnt recommend going with Lori. Honestly worst mistake Ive ever made. I went with her initially based on a review sayin she would be fair towards dads but no thats honestly far from the truth. I gave her so much info that she choose not to bring up in court. I honestly dont know who she was a lawyer for me or my ex because she did me no favors. I payed her over $9000 in a two month period had very little communication with her I dont know how she went thru that so fast and like I said I had very little communication with her. Im having alot more communication with my current lawyer and so far Ive only payed him $7000. She was also very unprepared in court and so was I because she didnt prepare me well at all. She just seems very inexperienced in my opinion. If u are a male and want someone that FIGHTS for you. Look elsewhere she has no fight in her. And Im just trying to save other people from going thru this experience I went thru with her.

Sarah and her team are the BEST! They are kind, understanding, caring, and work hard for your case. Over the past three years, they have become permanent residents in my heart. I went through a terrible custody case; a lot of it my fault. I listened to Sarah and Laura s advice word-for-word when it came to co-parenting and making life changes. They prepared me for trial, my mannerisms on the stand, and made me feel confident through their professionalism when I went to court. They know family law inside and out, and are exceptional at handling high conflict cases. When I visited their office, had phone calls, or communicated through emails, everyone was friendly, professional and welcoming. I felt apart of the team and decision making throughout my case. They helped me through it, and we got the outcome I wanted for me and my children! I highly recommend Seltzer Family Law when it comes to your family!

The receptionist was polite, I called and told her a little about my situation, unfortunately I was simply told that its almost 400$ for a 40 minute initial consult, way out of my budget unfortunately. The cost is the only reason for my review as I never spoke to or saw any of the lawyers and only talked to the receptionist on the phone.

Max brewington was incredibly helpful and if I ever have a need in the future, I would hire him again in a heartbeat. I am an out of state client, and when I was served in florida 2 days before a hearing to appear in Texas, max was immediately on top of it and ready to go. He was able to appear on my behalf on such short notice so I did not have to travel to Texas. Dealing with such a serious matter from out of state is difficult but knowing max was there and on top of everything put me at ease. He was very knowledgeable about family law and was able to coordinate with my florida lawyer, even at some points explaining to her how certain things can be done to resolve my case. Overall, max is a great lawyer for custody a dispute and I would highly recommend him.

I didn t feel represented, at the beginning of my divorce process, I felt betrayed when the lawyer came to my representation, they did not explain the situation of my lawyer and I understand that she was not in the position to work my case. and her fees are questionable

Hired her for a custody case, was impressed from the started but as time went on it was clear she was trying to play nice with my ex s lawyer but man did she charged for every cent she could get out of me. I would consider another lawyer.

I hired Lori and the firm to represent me with my divorce. From the beginning to the end she was attentive and wise. Likewise was the firm. Never for a moment did I feel that I wasnt in the best of minds and hands. In the end she delivered a victory for me. I could not be more pleased with her representation. Ms. Dally was with no doubt from day one fantastic. Compared to other attorneys that sold us false hope, she was realistic and she set for us realistic goals. She is very knowledgeable of the law and of the court process. If needed, I would use her services again. She is very informed and she puts a lot of work in each case. I have hired numerous attorneys over the years and none of them have impressed me like Seltzer & Dally. I have high expectations and expect an attorney to be knowledgeable, hardworking, and communicative. Sarah has exceeded all of my expectations. I also really appreciate her communication style of keeping her team informed so there isnt a single point of failure. My case is definitely abnormal since I am active duty military and living outside of the state and have a very complex case which includes Texas having to interpret Hawaii law for child support after a child turns 18. I appreciate her attention to detail and would definitely hire for anything I need in the future. Again, worked with many attorneys across multiple states but this firm is top notch.

Lori Dally is the best of the best. She is kind, knowledgeable, patient, trustworthy, professional, and very hardworking for her clients. I never felt rushed into a decision, I never felt in over my head with terms I did not understand. This was probably one of the hardest times of my life and she helped me through it with ease. She was always just an email away and very prompt with her response, she always answered all of my questions no matter how many times I asked the same ones over and over again which I m sure I did a lot, as our case went on for 2 years. She truly changed my life and I cannot thank her enough. I hope I won t need her services in the future but if I do I would retain her again in a heartbeat. Thank you Lori!

I came to Lori with a possible paternity issue that rapidly evolved into a custody case. Ms. Pack was amazing! She is very professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. My case was a remodification case. And, I was very happy with the outcome of my case! We actually settled through mediation. Ms. Pack, was always available, and if she wasnt, she was quick to return my call or email. To answer any questions I had about my case, including explaining to me legal terms and procedures. Having her represent me, really gave me great confidence in my case. Sarah is professional, efficient and caring. Shes upfront and honest. She doesnt beat around the bush. Shes direct with her knowledge and your options. Her reputation stands for itself. I received a recommendation from a Tarrant County Office to contact Seltzer & Dally. I called them up, and setup a walk-in meeting. Ms. Dally met with me, that day, and we discussed the details of my Divorce Situation. She a pleasure to deal with, and recommended that I retain the services of Kathlynn K. Pack, at her firm. On the spot, I hired Kathlynn to respond to my now ex-wifes Attorney, at the time of my Divorce Process. After being served divorce papers, I was unsure about some of the language used in the documentation. It was a very good thing that I was able to procure Kathlynns services when I did, because it turned out that there were things in my divorce papers that were not safe for me to simply sign, and agree to. If I had signed those papers, at the time, my ex-wife could have taken whatever she wanted to, during the Divorce Process. Kathlynn ensured that I received a fair and equitable division of assets during the course of my Divorce Process. She also used a system that tracks, in great detail, the time she spent on the various activities of my case, so everything was transparent, and I did not receive an inflated bill at the end of my service period. Very thorough and always prepared! Lori handled my divorce and child custody case that lasted almost a year and a half. She was always very thorough in explaining everything to me and went the extra mile when handling my case. Lori was extremely prepared in court and had discovered and uncovered things I didnt even know were happening. Divorce is never an easy process but Im glad I had Lori on my side. Before hiring Mrs. Seltzer, I was dealing with an attorney who was distant, uninterested, and who constantly put me and my case on the back burner. Dealing with a custody battle is stressful enough, and when you have a lawyer who treats you like another number, it makes it even more stressful. But thank God for then sending me SARAH SELTZER!
