Just found this place tonight and I will tell you I was so impressed!! Khris had me laughing all night and she was an amazing bartender!!! The selection of liquor is unmatched in dfw. Doesn t matter if you re looking for that rare scotch or just want their well they have it!! I didn t get to try the food but it looked amazing!!! The prices were completely fair. I will definitely be making this a go to spot from now on. Thank you guys and gals for an amazing experience. Ps Khris are you mad at me? lol jk

What an incredible bar! Rarely do you hit food, atmosphere and service out the park. The staff was super friendly and inviting. Lemon pepper wings: The best ive had in my life, no exaggeration. The pizza is awesome you can tell the dough is fresh ( Ive tried 3 different ones. A+ across the board) . Thank me later on that. Any drink you can think up they can make. Youll leave there and want to go tell people about it.

First, the bar is immaculately clean. Great seating, plenty of it and a MASSIVE bartop. We were greeted with in our first 5 steps in by Pete (Hes the man). We talked whiskey, tried a few cocktails (The 1805 and the old fashioned (One of the best Ive had in the city behind Nick and Sams)) and got food off the menu. The drinks are perfectly crafted and the selection is enough for any season spirit drinker to get lost. The food, did not disappoint. The all american egg rolls....get em trust me. And the pizza, I believe called rhe screecher, was delicious. The prices are representative of the professionalism and experience. More than likely my new regular spot.

UPDATE: I came in for first time in couple of months. It was great vibe for Saturday night and the service was nice! EXCEPT for Karaoke part where it wasn t fair for some of the regulars to continue to sing as much especially when I requested song and they got in front of me. As a business owner myself I was disappointed in that. If I owned karaoke business then I would have new people first and then go in that order. That was real frustrating part. Otherwise it was nice time! I hope it be better next time! Excellent neighborhood bar! It s very unique in their own way with the pizza, liquor selections and dessert choices which I enjoy. What an amazing date night spot! Friendly service, delicious food, beautiful bar as the focal point of the space, and plenty of TVs to watch the latest game. Their bar menu was extensive and offered several unique features like a whiskey margarita! We enjoyed the BBQ Chicken pizza for dinner and the S more box for dessert! This is such a great place! Very much the pub atmosphere. It was small but not crowded. The food was delicious. The service was amazing (thank you Emily!). And the alcohol selection was awesome. It is situated in a nice location with plenty of parking. They have a large bar and TVs playing sports and movies. At no time did it feel too crowded or loud. The cost was also very reasonable. We purchased an appetizer, two pizzas, a bottle of wine, a soda, and two beers on tap for $107. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back again soon! Thank you, The Owl Bar, for a wonderful evening!

Pizza was barely warm. Sat at the bar and had to waive at the bar tender to get his attention. Place was ok. But not for us. Did not feel welcome. Update: After reading some other reviews, I realized that I had a very similar experience. If the man behind the bar is a manager, he has a lot to learn about hospitality. I wont say he slammed my drink down but he certainly spent a lot of time talking to regulars and the female servers. You need to be welcoming and expand your regular base. I for one wont be one of them.

This place is awesome! The atmosphere is so awesome, it s the perfect blend of sporty and classy. The music was so good, there was never a bad song. The staff was so nice and accommodating. We asked for a specific basketball game to be put on and it wasn t on the regular channels but the staff searched for it for 5 minutes to make sure that we didn t miss it. The manager came out and talked to us for a minute and he was so nice and fun to talk to. Overall, such a great place.

Me and my husband were very excited to try a new bar/restaurant after hearing rave reviews about The Owl. We were extremely disappointed to put it lightly. We both come from service industry and haven t had this bad of service in a while. We sat at the bar and were not greeted right away the Hispanic man with a black shirt on had to tell the other girl to get our drink order. Drinks were good but we were never told either of the bartenders names. He never came back to ask us if we were ready to order food I had to flag him down after finishing 1 whole drink that we were ready to order. The food was delicious but he never asked us how it was or if we needed anything. My husband s drink was empty by the time the pizza came but was never asked if he wanted another cocktail. Our waters were also never refilled. We were never informed of the specials and the female bartender couldn t even tell me if she recommended the signature cocktail I ordered because she has never had it . We would ve gotten way better service if we sat at a table as the bartenders both looked like they wanted nothing to do with us. The male bartender answered his personal phone behind the bar and he paid way more attention to the customers he personally knew that were sitting at the bar. Overall we loved the food but don t think we will return after receiving that bad of service on a Wednesday evening with a half full restaurant

My husband and I really love the atmosphere of this bar. It s cozy and inviting and they have an amazing selection of liquor. The Owl is one of the top spots Ive been to in North Dallas. The atmosphere, service, and overall aesthetic are top notch. Its very rare that I visit a bar with food that doesnt fit into the category of bar food. Theyre a bar that serves restaurant quality food. Their pretzel and pizza were both phenomenal. I haven t made it out yet but Nicole and Pete are the best servers/bartenders I know! They made Stein s Ultra Bar one of the best places to hangout and enjoy some downtime. They are genuine people who will remember your name and drink order. Neighborhood bar that reserved seats at the bar. It s odd. I get off of work and want to watch some sports while the wife is out of town. I stop in and 4 seats are reserved. Not cool!!! Looks like a fun place. A higher end sports bar. Unfortunately you only get one chance to make an impression

Went on a Wednesday at 8pm. There were only about 5 people in the place but the bartender still took about 5 minutes to look up from his phone and acknowledge me. Slammed my drink down and walked away and continued on his phone. Left the bar for about 10min when the waitress finally came up and asked if I d like another drink, since mine had been empty for a WHILE. He came back grabbed the glass, didn t ask if I wanted the same thing, refilled it, slammed it down and kept on walking. Never offered a menu or engaged at all about anything. Rude. Looks like a phenomenal place, but that guy needs to learn some manners. I ve worked service industry jobs plenty back in my day, so I have realistic expectations. I d check it out again on a busier night when that guy want on shift.

Ive been to The Owl a handful of times so far, from the casual weekday to the Saturday fight night. The Owl never disappoints. The bartenders are top flight, the drinks are on point and their recommendations are as well. All the servers provide great service even when the place is packed so kudos to them. Ive never had to seek their attention for a refill or wonder where my food is. Special call out to Lacey, her smile and positive attitude are always present even when you can see that she is juggling many people/tables! Ill definitely be back to The Owl, wishing them all the success as they enter their first football season!!

We stopped in for drinks. It was okay, nothing special even for a Friday night. I ordered an old fashioned with Garrison single barrel whiskey. While it s awesome to carry Texas whiskey (bravo), it s a crime how it was served. One of those tiny rocks glasses that get thinner on the bottom half to serve even less, FULL of ice, and 90% fruit, both muddled at the bottom AND whole on top. Whiskey, especially whiskey, even in an old fashioned, deserves better treatment than that.

The Owl Bar is a gem in Frisco! The moment we walked in, we were impressed by their vast liquor selection, the largest Ive seen in DFW. The food was okay but the service was great. Our server Kylie was extremely helpful when it came to getting our orders fixed as the kitchen had undercooked the meat. She even gave us a free dessert to make up for it! You can get decent food anywhere, but it s really getting hard to find good service nowadays. Went here for happy hour with friends. It s on my way home from work, and it s sorta central to my amigos, so why the hell not! The first thing you notice after entering is the giant wall of spirits. The second thing you notice is the friendly staff (I felt like Norm from Cheers!). In this visit, Nicole was our server and she was the best! I had The Great Owl pizza (which was really good!), and washed it down with the Irish Old Fashioned, Watermelon Ranchwater, Mona Lisa, Dr Chilton, and the HALO. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience. I stopped in for some whiskey. Honestly needed it after losing custody of my children in my second divorce last week. Anyways, I gotta commend one of the servers, Kylie, who convinced me that theres more to life after my heartbreak. Anyways, I ended up going home with one of the fine women at the bar. Kylie convinced me to take a cab, probably saving my life. I ended up marrying the woman I mentioned earlier later that night. I think Im going to seek an annulment. Even if marriage number three crashed and burned, the food wasnt burnt at all - perfectly cooked and scrumptious. Im for sure going to be treating my divorce lawyer to a meal there when this is all said and done!
