I love this place. Everything is DELICIOUS! I love their empanadas (the ground beef is my favorite.)! I love the mini key lime pie. I tried the coffee my last visit...that was the best coffee Ive tasted in Texas. Period. God bless El Kourmet The Woodlands. Parking: There is plenty of parking. Kid-friendliness: I always see children having a great time with their families.

I I have been driving by this place since they opened, and today I finally had the chance to try them out! I ordered the mushroom salad with chicken. It s a nice bowl of greens with pepper and onions, with a huge helping of delicious grilled chicken and mushrooms on top, along with shredded cheese. I ordered my sauce (dressing) on the side because I was unsure if I d like it or not. But it was delicious so next time I ll let them mix it in. My friend for a sandwich, which she said was amazing. We also had Americano coffees, which were stout but not at all bitter. Everything was delicious and enjoyable. We sat outside on the little patio since it was a lovely, breezy morning. Very nice!!

I lived in Venezuela for 20 years and have now lived in The Woodlands for almost 20 years. Im extremely disappointed with our experience. The food was mediocre and overpriced, and the service was even worse. The gentleman who said he was the owners son and we could take our criticisms to his daddy was extremely rude and unprofessional. The only reason Im even leaving a negative review is because of the service. I have never gone out of my way to leave a negative review but I felt this was necessary. The food itself does not merit the price. There are many better options for Venezuelan food in the area. $10.50 for a pork arepa which was extremely soft and had a slightly displeasing smell and aftertaste. I expect the poor quality in food is due to mismanagement by a kid who doesnt like his job and was rushing to leave the minute the clock hit 3:00. We had already been inside for over 30 minutes, it was just past 3:00, we asked if we could order 1 more item to go and they were told absolutely not in a very rude and arrogant manner by the owners son. When we asked if we could speak to who was in charge he pointed to the door and said we could speak to his father if we had a problem. If this place continues to be run in this way it is doomed by failure just like Ive seen countless Latin restaurants in the area fail over the past 20 years. If the food was delicious and the service was excellent I would have no problem paying even more for the food. But going to the most expensive Venezuelan place in the area to get sub par food and get treated with disrespect is not something I will ever do again. I lived in Caracas for 20 years and have lived in The Woodlands for almost 20 years. I am extremely disappointed with our experience. The food was mediocre, overpriced, and the service was worse. I have never left a negative review on any business, but I felt it was necessary. The food itself is not worth the price. There are many better Venezuelan food options in the area. $10.50 for a flavorless pork arepa with a somewhat unpleasant smell and taste. I guess the poor quality of the food is because of the way the business is being run by a little guy who doesnt like his job. We ve always chosen take-out as the place is always empty. It s clean and has many tables. Maybe people have not realized they re open as they re located at the end of the parking lot. The food is absolutely delicious. Everything we ve tried so far is sooo good. The arepas and the patacones are our favorite. We ll definitely keep coming back for more.

I had the Kourmet burger Especial and my wife had the Venezuela hotdog. We also both shared the passion fruit juice drink. I don t know if I can eat a hamburger at a different restaurant now that I ve had one here The burger was everything but dry. Every bite was bursting with flavor! Yes, the price is a little alarming. But this burger will NOT be outdone by quality or flavor any time soon! The hotdog was also made to the same level of quality. Not too greasy and yet bursting with flavor. The juice was the perfect choice for it was both tasty and refreshing at the same time. The restaurant seems freshly built, no dust or dirt anywhere! Patio is also well maintained! Can not wait to come back for another burger!

Such delicious food. I have been looking for a place that sold Patacón. (I know it as jibaritos) I got it with puerco and it was so well seasoned. I loved that they added a slice of panela! My husband got the salchiqueso dog and he really loved it! Their empanada and pastelito were amazing. The breading was so flaky and crispy. Their carne molida was so flavorful! I got their passion fruit drink and it was so tasty. I can t wait to come back!
