Hours are inconsistent, we sat down for about 15 minutes to have the server come and say they close at 630. It was 545 when we came in. When we came in we rang the bell. Other customers said they rang the bell and no one showed up. They sat themselves

We ve seen this place many times when at the brewery next door and thought about trying it, just keep forgetting about it. Ended up getting by this evening. The weather was great so we sat on the patio. Server was super nice and explained entrees so we didn t over order, for just two of us. Food was great, authentic Mexican food, like you d get from a family. Corn and flour tortillas were homemade. They had one of the beers from Cowtown brewery on tap, which was a nice addition. (BTW: if you enjoy brewery s Cowtown is a great place to check out next door.) All the staff was very friendly and we enjoyed visiting with them. The history of why this restaurant was started is very interesting, google it while enjoying a cold brew. All in all, just a really good place to enjoy some authentic Mexican food, you won t be disappointed.

Great place! My mother and I went there for dinner and everyone was so nice. We met I think a few of the owners and they were the nicest people. We were told the history of the building and he brought us a generous sample from f the frozen margarita! We had fajitas for two (combo). They accidentally gave us shrimp also and we ate everything! Their rice and beans were delicious. The tortillas were some of the best. When we were leaving the owner came back over shook my hand and hugged my mom and asked for our business again. Absolutely a perfect Sunday dinner. We will be going back with the rest of my family!

Tias was absolutely delicious! I went with my husband and friend and we had the best time. Staff was super personable, food was delicious, and drinks were awesome. For drinks we got the classic margarita, strawberry, and mango margarita on the rocks. For an appetizer we got queso supreme and chips with salsa. All were great. For dinner we got chicken fajitas for two which were delicious and the rice they made was super tasty. I definitely would recommend this place and am so glad that they reopened.

I am so unbelievably happy that theyre back open! Tonight they will be open until 11pm for the soft opening!! We had chips, salsa and queso, strawberry/mango swirl margaritas, the carne guisada plate and beef enchiladas. Weve never had the mole, so they brought out a little sampler plate for us to try it! I swear that first bite of carne guisada after not having it for a year, made me so happy. Our waiter was JP, he was super nice and attentive! We got to talk to Joe and Linda and get a sneak peek of some of the new menu items that Tias will have. He also told us about Sunday Funday, where the patio will have a tequila bar, tvs to watch games, menudo/pozole will also be on the menu. Lots of fun things coming! Joe shared the history of Tias with us and how he grew up in the house with everyone including his abuela (grandma). Abuela used to feed the homeless whenever they would come through the neighborhood. She wanted her family to continue that tradition, and they have. Tias on the Bluff is one of those restaurants where you walk in and feel at home. Everyone is so friendly and personable. The food is absolutely delicious, and the history of Tias is heartwarming. Please please please do yourself a favor and go support this local family owned business!!

We recently hosted a Bridal Shower at Tias and the owner Patricia was just so great in working with us. The restaurant is currently going through some construction but Patricia was very gracious and accommodated our event. This was one of a few that I have had the pleasure in attending at Tias and it just never disappoints. Everyone enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was tasty, generous and delicious. The margaritas really were a hit with our guest. I most especially appreciate the service that Patricia and her husband gave us and will definitely come again to enjoy a delicious meal. My husband and I recently had dinner here. The host was exceptionally friendly and eager to please, we felt very welcomed in the restaurant. My complaint comes in with the pricing. We were brought chips and salsa and then were charged for them, we were not made aware that it would cost us extra. The menu prices did not reflect what we were charged, and again, we were not told that the menu pricing was incorrect and that dinner would in fact cost us more than advertised. Finally, we were charged for using a credit card, we did not see anywhere that there would be a fee with using a credit card, but there is a chance we just didnt see it. I would highly suggest to the restaurant owner to be honest with the pricing so the customers do not leave with a bad taste in their mouths.

Service was terrible. They are obviously understaffed. We walked in on a Friday night and only one other table of people were there. We stood in the doorway for several minutes before anyone noticed us. We would only see the waiter every 20 minutes or so. We also specifically ordered the fajitas for 1 and they still gave us the order for 2. They charge for chips and salsa, and had random extra charges on there as well. I would have argued about our receipt but the lady who took our order we saw leave and i didn t want to wait half an hour for the waiter to come back. The food was alright and the workers were nice (but super slow) which is the only reason this got 2 stars.

I am sharing a picture of my water because it had more flavor than the plate I got. I didnt even have the opportunity to change the flavor of my plate because there was no salt and pepper available. We waited an obnoxiously long time to even get seated. Then wete basically forgotten about after our food came out. The dining room was no where even close to busy and the majority of the staff seemed to have an I dont care attitude. No sense of urgency or awareness of customers or table service. Gave this place a shot for the first time to try something new. Probably should have stuck to my guns and hit up another Northside mexican restaurant.

The bad reviews might be valid... But I had a great time! The older lady is forgetful but adorable. The food was pretty good. Not amazing but I liked it. The ambiance was great. No one was there for most of our meal and it was nice to have the restaurant to ourselves. Apparently the location has a sordid past (and maybe present as well. Idk) and frankly that makes me like it more. It did take forever to pay but they only had 2 people working there on a Saturday night. Its probably not for everyone (the people I ate with were not fans) but I personally did enjoy it.

Unorganized, unprofessional, and just plain horrible. They ran out of food early into the night, didnt post any signs notifying customers of such, then when customers tried to order food, one of the owners was very rude about it. They had an online flyer advertising a DJ on the patio and drink specials. They did not have the shots advertised, once again, when customers tried to order shots advertised, the owner was very rude about it. Horrible service.

If I could make 0 stars I would. We went to the restaurant today for Father s Day and we waited so long that we actually ended up leaving due to waiting there for 1 1/2 hours for the food. There were only 2 other tables seated. Horrible service!!! Also they were out of fajitas and Fanta

As a walk-in I was not really helped as I waited to be greeted. Thankfully, after walking around Lindas great bar service almost made me forgot about the initial wait. She was very personable and even offered me a sampler tray of all of the house specials (Chicken Mole, Flours, Refried Beans, and Spanish Rice). I ordered a grilled steak fajitas plate which was really good. The only down side to the plate was the watery Spanish Rice. I suspect this was due to my order being placed 10 minutes before the kitchen closed for the night. I was surprised to learn that Patsy prepares all of the food here herself. Accomplishing that alone is a feat beyond words. Although the pricing was more than I expected, I had a positive experience here. Im looking forward to trying their quesadillas and seasonal tamales next time I visit.

The food is decent and the atmosphere is actually pretty good but the service is the worst Ive ever had in fort worth. You hardly see any employees and have to hunt down your waiter for anything you want. Theres so many better Mexican food restaurants around here, dont waste your time with Tias on the bluff.

Walked inside and we didn t even see an employee for a few mins. Then a lady greeted us and said we would be seated by a young gentleman shortly. Said gentleman walked past us twice without saying anything but excuse me and then grabbed a couple menus and said follow me . We went to the patio (which is where we wanted to be) and chose a table in the shade but kinda off to the side. Well, the dude forgot about us and we waited 15 mins. When we finally caught his attention he just looked away and went on with his business so we got up and walked out. We still did not see any employees the entire walk out. We were looking forward to trying this place but sadly will not be back
