Yesterday was my 1st time there. The owners helped me with order. Was very nice I got the fried shrimp basket Shrimp was fresh which is hard to find. Jumbo & butterflied. Which is becoming rare to find. Cant wait to try again when Im in the area.

My 1st time coming in 9/4/24 my transaction was completed at 1:55pm when I 1st came in my friend immediately turned around due to the establishment being empty and no smell of food I decided to give this place a try anyways and ordered the mixed boudin balls (1with cheese 1 without) it was a total of $7.57. I will say the lady was very nice but the food was trash the balls were burnt and was only edible on the inside. You can try for yourself but I don t see myself returning to this establishment.

Came in today to try their catfish. I ordered the 5 pc. grilled catfish with red beans & rice along with fresh green beans. Excellent food and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Its a casual restaurant more of a hole in the wall. Best catfish around and their red beans and rice had a spicy kick as well.... $14.99

I was visiting my father in Humble and stumbled upon this hidden gem. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. They were so friendly . I definitely recommend this place to anyone that is in the area to please stop by. You will not be disappointed. I had the seafood platter. Large portions and the pricing is fair. I can t wait to go back!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS This place has the worst shrimp Po Boy I ve had in my entire life. Not only was the food terrible but the service was just as awful. We asked questions regarding the menu & the cashier seemed upset & irritated that we were even there. Ironically the food was just as distasteful as the service. The bread was completely burnt & inedible. My girlfriend had to tear most of it off just to bear the taste. To top it off, the shrimp was burnt & seemed as if it was fried in old dirty grease. I wouldn t recommend this place to a roach. If you want good quality food and service DO NOT GO HERE.

In town from Austin helping Murphy USA with getting the stores up and running after the Hurricane. Saw the business sign and decided to try it with 3 other coworkers. It was delicious and even went back the next day as well for lunch. Fish and Shrimp tacos are loaded. Rice and beans are delicious.

I ordered the fried catfish, oysters, and shrimp. The shrimp was so big. I really loved it, I didn t like the thick breading, but the shrimp was fried to perfection. The only other complaint that I have about the shrimp is that it wasn t fully cleaned well. It seems that here in Texas, they don t have a problem eating the poop. The oysters were not cleaned well at all. They tasted like straight sand, and I did not eat them. If I would ve known this, I would ve just gotten more shrimp instead of oysters. Now baby that catfish made up for every wrong that was ever done! Their catfish is so good. You would never even know that you re eating catfish. It is so tender and succulent, and does not have that gamey flavor. The red beans and rice were so so good. This is definitely my new fish spot.

I usually drive a few miles to eat good fried fish, and Im lucky about my fries, but I saw this new spot close to home, so I popped in to give it a try. I ordered a 3 pc fried fish and 2 sides, I chose fries and onion rings......I believe I find my new favorite fish spot! It was clean, the staff was welcoming and it was clean. The food was great and the price was right! Stop by and give it a try, Im looking forward to bringing my husband and trying their other menu items. 5 star visit!!

Spending money on this food was a total waste of money, time and effort. It was least favorite meal in a long time. I ordered the catfish po-boy which was over and under cooked, wet, sloppy and a poor representation of a catfish po-boy, The catfish came out looking overcooked however when I bit into it was barely cooked. I ordered onion rings and I received 3 slices of the thinnest membrane of an onion with a very slight breading. The food was overpriced and certainly not deserving of a return to this place. My hubby got catfish filets and shrimp cooked in the same one week old cooking oil. Please do better.

I ordered 2x extra fried shrimp and 2x extra fried oysters and I got a total of 5 shrimp and 6 oysters that look like they were cut in half. I asked for ketchup and didn t get any. I tried calling the store and didn t get an answer. This was $40+ and it s not worth $10. Everything taste like it was cooked in old oil and overcooked. Not happy about this! Total waste of money!

I got the large combo with fish and shrimp, green beans and jambalaya through Ubereats. I must say the food was good and the flavor was there!! I tore up the green beans! They were not over cooked still had some snap! I was nervous about the about the jambalaya but it was so yummy!! The shrimp were huge! The fish are whole fillets and not one cut into 2. The batter for the fish and shrimp had flavor like I would do at home. They loaded me with all the sauces, I m not a big fan of tarter but it s definitely hitting! Oh let s not forget about the onion rings, they re thick and I dipped it in the tartar sauce. It s so much food , I have some for tomorrow. I m a chef myself so it s hard to find something not to complain about. Next time I m going in, it took an hr to get to me and I want the full hot experience. When I first pulled up the cook was outside smoking marijuana in his car, so distasteful. Looks like he got upset that I pulled up at about 20 minutes after 8p. He then comes inside mumbling something, looking crazy. Once he s in the kitchen I don t ever see him put gloves on (maybe he just washed his hands?). He peeked out the kitchen door while cooking to ask a question to another customer and still I see no gloves on his hands. Now, the young lady at the counter (red hair) was such a professional sweetheart. If it weren t for her, I would ve walked out. The menu doesn t have many options. The atmosphere is tight and dark the food taste and presentation was not to my liking, but the fried shrimps were huge. I ordered catfish but sure I didn t get catfish. It was disappointing but I think the young lady just didn t specify to the cook I wanted catfish instead of swai .. French fries were over fried as well. I will not be back for a second time, nothing about the place is inviting.

Decided that I wanted fish for dinner, along with a friend visiting in town, I googled seafood places near me and saw Georgias seafood. It was 6 min away so we went, nice small place, friendly staff and we had the restaurant to ourselves. I ordered fish, fries, red beans & rice, also ordered gumbo, hot sausage po boy and boudain balls. Fish dinner was good but small pieces, red beans ok, not enough flavor, gumbo was off the chain, boudain balls were pretty good. I didnt taste sausage po boy but was told that it was really flavorful. Overall, the husband and wife team are great people and assist each other with the cooking, but wifey made the gumbo on this day and it was perfect roux and taste. Will definitely return to eat and try more food!

Second time trying this place. They stand outside and smoke cigarettes while you wait for your food. The service is not professional or speedy, and now Im stuck with food I dont even trust. Last time the food was spoiled and they didnt even seem halfway shocked when I brought it back. I tried to like this place, but its impossible if you have even the slightest bit of standards. My first time patronizing this restaurant was yesterday and I ve always passed by this establishment for the past year or two and never stopped, but I wanted some fried fish and I said let me give it a try. I can honestly say that my food was hot when I received it, there was a wait but I didn t mind because I like my food cooked fresh. The fish portions were a good size and they were meaty and cooked well. The shrimp and fries were cooked evenly and seasoned well and the red beans and rice was quite tasty. I enjoyed the tartar sauce too. I m not sure if they make it themselves or if it s a particular brand, had a nice thick consistency and went well with the fish. I saw that they had some type of putting desserts in the cold case, but I didn t get one because I m not supposed to have the fried fish so I really didn t need a dessert lol. I made a call to the owners this morning to let them know that I will be back to visit their establishment and they were very appreciative and welcoming of the compliment.

found it on Google decided to try it and it was GREAT!!! The new hot sausage PO BOY is BUSSIN !!! They use the AUTHENTIC HOT SAUSAGE just like in New Orleans and the house sauce they put on it is really good. I came across this place while looking on Maps for restaurants in the area and saw there were some great reviews! I ordered the 12 piece combo that came with 4 catfish filets, 4 shrimp, and 4 oysters and I chose red beans and rice and onion rings for the sides. Another reviewer said they are the best onion rings they ever had, and I have to agree. Theyre huge and crunchy and tasty along with their unique tarter sauce. The shrimp were huge and delicious and the oysters were my favorite part, perfectly crispy and not over cooked. The catfish were decent size and perfect as well. Everything was top tier fried food that makes you feel good!

This was my first visit to the restaurant and at first I was somewhat taken back because they only have two type of fish that they serve, well I have you to know that the up-charge was worth it. The fish was grilled to perfection and seasoned just right( my hat off to the chef) and very very tasty. I really didn t want to do this but the owner needs to know.... I used to come there frequently pre Covid and the food was delicious. This was when the elderly lady was in the kitchen. Sadly I ll have to say last night was the very last time I ll get anything from here. I ordered the seafood platter. 23.00 for this now. 6 fish and 6 shrimp with jambalaya and fries. The fish was mushy and I m a big seafood eater. This is not catfish. The texture of the meat is more like swai. I asked the cook what kind of fish it was and he said he didn t know. Secondly my jambalaya was spoiled. I mean you could smell the sour as soon as you opened the cup. I have been so disappointed with this restaurant after Covid. They used to serve real catfish. You know the filet that has that dark piece of skin. One time I bought a large cup of gumbo with 1 shrimp in it. Another time my fish was cooked in the hush puppy batter. Now I believe they are cutting corners to try to stay in business. The food is just not worth the price anymore.

I found another jewel and this time its in HUMBLE!!! I had plans to meet up with a friend to make up for missing her birthday dinner a few weeks ago, so I looked for a Black owned business close to her side of town and found Georgias Catfish Kitchen on Google and lets just say we BOTH ended up leaving with great gifts!! From the friendly welcome to the awesome assistance with ordering, Scott was a pleasant representative of the GCK brand. From the mouth-watering assortment of freshly prepared items on the menu, I selected the regular size Catfish & shrimp box which came with not 1, but TWO sides.... I selected for and Seasoned green beans and I HAD to try a cup of the gumbo. The fish & shrimp were seasoned perfectly and were fried JUST RIGHT!! The only thing I didnt like about the gumbo was that I got a cup when I should have gotten a BOWL!!! EVERYTHING WAS DEEEEEE-LICIOUS!!! I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!

Fish was good but ordered though Uber and it got to the hotel fast but fish, 4 hush puppies and a little bowl of coleslaw is all I got! No utensils No salt or pepper No sauce or ketchup not even napkins! If it wasn t for this failure I would have given 5 stars

Ive been before, and then it was much better. Yesterday I waited 15 mins to order, 45 mins more to get my food. The food was ALREADY cold, like it was sitting back there pre-cooked. The fish was limp and soggy. The shrimp breading just kept falling off, which tells me it was reheated. The French fries were cold and limp. NONE of the food had flavor. I was initially feeling bad for them because I could tell there were only 2 of them back there working, but after thinking on it, its been in business some time and by now it should have improved, not gone down....I wont be back...

I ve been going here for about 3 years. The customer service is always great! The employees are friendly. The food is always prepared just right and the owner actually engages with his customers. I would highly recommend.

Terrible experience.we waited 1 hour to get food. I am writing this as I head to the hospital, preventative care for the food poisoning Ill most likely get. Avoid this place. The fish is raw and had no flavor.

Ordered through doordash and the food was fantastic! The catfish, shrimp and oysters were perfectly cooked and the boudin balls were delicious!! The amount of food is overwhelming and I will be eating here again. Just an update and I want to say the food and etouffee is amazing. I order the boudin balls and the fish and the shrimp plate and the food was outstanding and the guys that are putting out this food is top notch.

Love the shrimp Poboy! Everything is fresh and delicious. The cheesy boudin balls are also AMAZING. The only problem is the staff member that ask me out almost everytime I go there. It s very unprofessional and it s very unfortunate that I can t enjoy the delicious food without getting hit on. I was going to go there today but changed my mind because I remembered the unprofessional behavior. I hope this hasn t happened to anyone else.

This place is okay. I ordered the fried catfish (which is actually swai) and fried shrimp basket. Great seasoning, fried to perfection and not salty. The jambalaya is outstanding and so are the green beans. Did I mention they make their tartar sauce? I never cared for tartar sauce but this place has made me love their tartar sauce. The gumbo had too much rice in it but it was still good. The boudin balls are great. I like this place, but they could use some improvements. However, the catfish is not catfish, it s swai or whiting. Please don t call your restaurant catfish kitchen when you re not being honest about what you re selling to your customers. It is swai, not catfish. Huge disappointment but everything else is decent.

Just tried a catfish basket from there came with 5 pieces of fish , 4 hush puppies, and a side of fries. Catfish was perfect moist and golden brown as promised! Hush puppies were very flavorful and moist as well. This is a black owned business in humble that you guys should try out . Not to mention my fries were seasoned to perfection

My husband and I went here for dinner we walked in there were only 3 people there one waiting on her other another gentleman waiting on his food and another lady dining in with her kids. There was no one at the register a guy looked through the kitchen windows came out spoke to the gentleman another guy looked through the windows the guy talking to the man went back in the kitchen looked at us standing at the register to order we waited 10 minutes and then left we never got acknowledged we never were waited on.

Overall good flavors. Food was fresh. Really disappointed that I order a (3) piece catfish and it is really (1) piece of small fish that was sliced into 3 strips. Wish there was more transparency around that. They could just say (1) piece of fish and 2 sides. However, outside of being disappointed with that on the bright side For me it s more efficient than spending money on some fake fast food junk. Additionally, I was a bit skeptical about the jambalaya and the gumbo. Being from Creole heritage I m always skeptical when something has a New Orleans swag stamp because it s usually precedes those twangy Cajun flavors when I of course prefer those rich savory creole flavors. But it wasn t too shabby! It s def worth a quick fix if you re wanting something soulful, quick and at the same cost you d pay for fast food! Overall: Good. Ill def go back and try a few other things on the menu!

The food was good! My husband and I both ordered the 4 catfish, 4 shrimp, and 4 oysters and it came with 2 sides. He had hush puppies and fries, I ordered jambalaya and seasoned green beans. We also ordered Boudin Balls. While waiting, Scottie, the owner, talked with us and had us sample the gumbo, which was ALSO good! Even the tarter sauce was good! Overall, the food was well seasoned, the prices are reasonable and the customer service was great! Will definitely be coming back and next time, bringing the kids!

Georgias was good, the gumbo was tasty and I loved the green beans. The peach cobbler cake was very good. The wait was a little long, but it all was made fresh so no real complaints. Definitely would go again. Parking: Store front in a strip mall Kid-friendliness: Nice kids menu
