Had a blast at BAR 2909! Shoutout to Hope, who made our night awesome! There was a live DJ, the food was great, and the conversation was fun! They also have these fun throne shaped chairs indoors. I forgot to get a picture of those, so be sure to stop in if you want to check them out! Also, Hope makes the best Margaritas Ive had in a long time!

Fairly small bar but large patio! Bartenders were extremely friendly and made drinks quickly. We came through for Mimosa Fest and it worth the stop! They served breakfast tacos that were just fabulous! They also have an adorable vip spot with fancy chairs if you get a bottle. Would definitely recommend coming by! The patio was really cute as well but it was much too hot for us to be outside! Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy to get around since its very open

The place was different. There was no wait staff so we had to go the bar ourselves.. I guess happy hour is slower. Parking is a major problem. I found some place nearby and paid over $30 to park because i paid the $15 rate twice because i wasnt sure the first one went through. I think Im too old for a hip place like this. Parking: Nightmarish

Mardi gars night. There was a guy in the bathroom with a female. Let one of the staff members know. He told the owner/manager about it. When the staff member came back letting us know he had told him. He said that he didnt seem like he cared. He called him over to the table we were at & the manager didnt seem like he wanted to. After a few waves and calling him, he came. He started talking to us in a way, he wanted to avoid what just happen and said for someone in the back of the bar to get us a shot. (Close to the bar) thats where our table was. So I told my friend his trying to fix it with a shot. We tried to take it but one of my other friends got her phone out to record. He seemed like he got mad. She was taking a video of the shots nothing else. As he walks away he tells us we arent nobody and just keeps on walking & talking...I was so confused. For us that was a red flag. what kind of environment this is and whats happening in the business. Wont be going there anymore. What a shame that we go to have a good time and we come out feeling like we did something bad.

Advertised a Pickle Fest full of food vendors, shops etc. on Oct 7, 2023. Showed up & No pickle fest. Paid $20 for parking. Refused to give a refund after being told 3rd party vendor did not show up. Very irresponsible on follow up. Found out in a matter of minutes that is not 1st time this vendor had done this to people. Bar owner should have researched & vetted the vendor. Scam of a bar. Want ever go back!!

We paid $7 each just to get into Pickle Fest which was held October 7th and there was no Pickle Fest. I talked to a very nice lady at the bar, and she said it was booked through a third-party vendor who did not show up. The bar was not giving refunds and we had to pay $20 for the parking garage across the street. Avoid this place if they are having a Fest, Fair or Event as you will get scammed. We reached out to the third-party vendor and they have never responded to our refund request. This bar does not use reliable vendors. I would avoid this place, horrible parking, and the $20 parking fee is outrageous.

They advertised a Pickle Fest on October 7. Drove all the way from Rockwall, and turns out it was a big scam! Nothing there, except a great BBQ booth. The BBQ people were scammed too,thinking there would be other booths and tons of customers. At least the BBQ people had pickles.

Paid for the pickle festival and there was nothing pickle there except for the guy in th pickle costume by the door. False advertisement for sure. We drove over an hour to get there. No pickle them food or drinks. Nothing pickle. Everyone there was extra disappointed.

I was assaulted by the bathroom attendant AT THIS BAR! I went to meet up with my friends who were already in the bathroom and this huge lady who was the bathroom attendant. I ve seen her in there before and I think she was selling stuff to to people in there. She grabs my arms very aggressively and yells at me. This is unprofessional. It wasn t on a Wednesday night, and it s extremely disrespectful that after writing about this, the owner tells me I have the wrong place.

We went for the Britney Brunch on 03/12/23. I had children with me and the owner came up to us and assured me that the bar was family friendly during the day. I guess he read my face or had some type of intuition, but he was extremely nice and inviting. We had the BEST time! The bartender was so friendly and the other staff were amazing as well! We will definitely be back. Thanks for the great time!

We went there for Mimosa Fest. Im not sure they know what a mimosa is, but neither mimosa that I ordered contained juice. It was 34 degrees when we went. Most of their seating is outside. They have two heaters, of which only a select few tables are underneath. Brunch was advertised as part of Mimosa Fest. There was a taco truck that took 40 minutes for an order. The place seems very nice, everything was just poorly executed and not thought out. It was extremely disappointing, especially since it was an organized event with tickets that we had to purchase ahead of time. Id think twice before coming here for any events, but Im sure its a nice place to have a few drinks and chill

Went there on a Saturday afternoon. Everything else in the 7th street area was super packed. Popped into 2909 since it was not very busy. Ordered a shiner beer and it was 8 bucks! I figured I would order a coors light next time and save some money and guess what? 8 bucks! Its a great place to hang out but now I know why it wasnt busy when everything else was.

This bar is good for a nice night. Its not too big, but it has TVs, lounge sections, place where you can dance in the center. It is almost all outside. Bar tenders were pretty fast, even though they were busy. So I appreciate that!

Great Deejay on Saturday nights!! Nice bodyguards.. good amount of seating.. only reason its not 5 stars is because one of the bartenders overcharged my brother by 35$ and then didnt refund him, instead she gave him three shots to make up for it. Not mad about.. just be aware of your tabs.

Honestly overpriced drinks for the 7th street area. Thats not the reason Im giving this bar 1 star. The young female bartender stood there on facetime with her friend while myself, and several other patrons waited patiently for our service for nearly 10 minutes. When she finally got off her phone, she poured my drink and gave me a half shot of liquor in it. I called her on it and she gave me the whole shot after telling me that Id had enough drinks for the night. (It was literalltly my first drink of the night!) Then she proceeded to charge me for a double. She had an absolutely unprofessional attitude about the whole encounter and acted like she hated everyone in the bar. I cannot believe how bad this bar is.

The atmosphere is cool; love the open courtyard and live music. However, the drinks are pricey and I thought the female bartenders were fake-acting and looking. These Hooters rejects give you attitude as if they are annoyed if you ask any questions but instantly put on a fake smile and giggle if you proceed to buy a drink (rolling my eyes).

This cool little indoor/outdoor bar is a great hideaway for game days. Having spent an afternoon there watching all my football teams play, I was waited on by a great server and entertained throughout the day! They have food but it comes from one of the other restaurants nearby but you can still order. I like hanging here because its pretty lowkey amd you can hear the games. The bartenders are eager to get you your team so that you can watch in atici....pation!
