Bought a small virgin drink, no alcohol and it was $15, steep but whatever, we paid even left a tip. Before even taking a sip, we see a dead moth inside the drink. I bring it back to them to show them the dead moth in my drink, ask for a refund as we did not want to drink anything from a place that has bugs in their drink. Full offense, that is disgusting and I do not was another drink, I asked to a receive a refund as we didn t even touch the drink. Was told by the rude woman who first started speaking Spanish to her coworker thinking we don t understand saying tell them no refunds. The guy was trying to be nice and work with us but she told him no. Then she walked up to us and told us we re making her job difficult and gestured with her hand to show as if we are too dumb to understand. Policy is one thing, but the way you speak to someone after you re in the wrong is even worse. Bugs are disgusting but the attitude of the woman working was even worse. Spend your money somewhere more deserving because this place is trashy all around.

We visited the Riverwalk on the weekend. After some walking and a boat ride on a hot, sunny day, we felt very thirsty and discovered this worthwhile spot. We ordered Mango Nada and fresh pineapple juice, both of which were excellent. They also offer a variety of other fresh fruit juices as well.

Went in and ordered 2 kids drinks and 1 adult drink. The kids both wanted blue razz slushy. The girl took our order, rang it up, then we paid. She then went to get our drinks and came back to say the blue razz slush machine was down and we would have to pick a different flavor. Kids being kids didnt want the other flavors so we asked for a refund on the kids drinks but still wanted the adult drink. She got a manager who came and said sorry no refunds, pick another flavor. If you have kids you know thats not how it works. Asked again for a full refund and we would go somewhere else. Was told no again. Told them they needed to refund us or we would do a charge back with the cc company, they still refused so we left and started the charge back process. Either know what you have and dont have or make the drinks BEFORE taking payment if refunds are not an option. Will never return.

Theres tons of options on the RiverWalk and this was the first place we went when we arrived. They had a variety of frozen drinks and it was a quick walk from the hotel. We all tried the mango/strawberry mix and I will definitely say it went down well. I can imagine this spot is lively at nighttime as the cups light up. Definitely worth checking out since you can walk on the RW with drinks!

Maybe my opinion of the place will change if they learn to close at the hours google says they re going to close. 2 days in a row, they closed earlier than listed. Day 1, half an hour early, sure, it was a slow night and makes some sense. But night two on Halloween night, when they have Halloween themed drinks, closing 3 hours early?? Ridiculous.

We bought the alcohol with the souvenir cups and was completely shocked at the price. $85 for 2 adult drinks and one Childrens drink. The lady blond hair believe brittney but can t be sure said save your cups bc you get free refill. I was like oh that s not bad, we can go back and refill them tomorrow and walk around. I refilled our drinks and the lady then charged me again. I said I was told it was feee refills and she said I must have heard wrong. I stated that how do I hear free refills wrong, that it was specifically stated. She said it was a misunderstanding, and I said it s false advertisement bc you specifically said it. I talked to 3 different people there and none of them were polite nor respectful. This place is a scam, I will be contacting my credit card company about the charges and leaving reviews every where I can. Buy your drinks from somewhere else that values honesty and integrity

Great place for tourists. We live in SA and went one time and it was a nice place and a lot of flavor drinks. But the prices are high. I walked down the Riverwalk from my hotel and found myself at Thirsty Aztec. Bought a mango slush for $28. Yikes! But at least the refills are $12 with the original cup for 1 year after purchase. It was sweet and hit the spot on a hot day. The cashier was friendly and helpful. 4 stars because it was expensive. A couple next to me paid $57 for their two drinks. Yowzers. They do taste good so Ill be back.

The reason I am giving two stars is because how overpriced these daiquiris are, and have very little alcohol in them. Yes, they are cool souvenirs to take home, don t get me wrong. But if I m paying almost $60 for two drinks, I would expect them to get me a little tipsy right after. I didn t taste any alcohol, I even tasted the alcohol that was in the tubes, and it wasn t strong. So I m disappointed. But cool souvenir.

I got the local It was like an alcoholic mangonada. They have many different options to choose from they all seemed really good! I got a small it was $26, so be prepared. If you got the large size you may need to refinance your house I was told that if you bring your cup back that you get a refill for $12, so save your cup!

Thought it would be a nice place to grab a drink, However the experience was horrible. I Was getting two drink slushies and before I was even told the price, which was $54.00, the bartender swiped my card then told me the total. Then I was told that only the manager could do the refund. The manger came to the register said she could not do a refund unless her boss came. After being told rude comments by the manger they gave me a refund and tried to tell me I could not get a receipt. Overall this situation could of been avoid if the employees tell you your total before taking your cards. Do yourself a favor, and go to a different bar

Saw this place while waiting in line for a riverboat cruise and my mom went in with my toddler to get something to help us cool down. $50 later she came out with a tall boozy drink for me and two smaller, non-alcoholic drinks for her and my 3yo. The price was staggering but so was the heat and by that point we just needed something icy and cold, which I m sure is the experience of many others who visit San Antonio in the heat of summer. The drinks were great, I m still shell shocked from the price but they kept us from getting heatstroke? So I guess it evens out.

This place never disappoints! The trick to have the tall Aztec drinks is to empty the tequila test tubes in the beginning, so that it gets mixed throughout the drink. If you don t do that, I ve experienced that the alcohol doesn t infuse in the entire drink because of vacuum, and the last part will contain entire tequila, which will taste really bad and you would end up leaving the bottom part! I love them! We ordered two largest drinks between 7 people, and it was worth it! We all got good high and was pretty economical!

Came up from New Braunfels to enjoy downtown San Antonio and spend a night out of town. My boyfriend and I wanted a margarita, but the restaurant we were at had pricey drinks that came in a tiny glass. Not my style. We googled margaritas to go and Thirtsy Aztec popped up and of course the first thing that caught my eye was the variety of drinks they offered. We liked them a lot! I got a twin tower and he got a park police Plus they will throw in extras (depending on what drink you get) to make things even better. I had 2 tubes of tequila thrown in and my boyfriends came with a jello shot and a tequila tube as well. Both had fruit and overall I thought looked fun. The drinks we got were around 23 bucks for one which is on the higher side, but they really do deck them out with extras. They also have beers, micheladas, non-alcoholic slushies (for the kids or those not lookin for a buzz...), sodas, and a some add-ins to spiffy your drink up even more. Yeah, youre gonna pay 23 for a drink but you do get a good amount, a cool drink, and a fun experience to be on the river walk and see the lights (... just dont take them up to street level... ) and sip as you go. Plus, if youre a dork like I am and enjoy collecting cups, you get a neat keepsake! OH, and keep the cups when you go back... 10 bucks with the cup, cant beat that.

Got here before they close at 9 pm and they wouldn t even acknowledge me. They knew they were closing well before they promised us the 9pm closing time and the literally hid behind a pillar to avoid. Drinks weren t very good from previous visit and way overpriced anyway. Just flashy. Which will probably keep them in business but don t be a fool.

The manager/sup/lead what ever her title wouldn t give us faucet water as a previous employee did we spent a few hundred dollars That day and the weekend before celebrating accomplishments from work. Our manager took all the supervisors out for drinks. It was a awful experience, she was rude condescending refuse to let us speak to a manager or anyone else above her we have not been back.
