I have knowledge of the poor morals they use .... I am an advocate for childrens rights, If you love your family or community you will look else where for service. If you have to go to war, the Cantus are your army. I came to them with a fairly complex divorce and after a terrible experience with a supposed law firm that resulted in terrible temporary orders for me in terms of custody. I very much doubted that anyone could do anything for my case until I learned what a real law firm was. Chris knows exactly what he is doing, you can see his experience on the field, he was incredibly sharp and aggressive in court it was very satisfying to see him attack, also Ben knows perfectly what he is doing, he went on and beyond always available for any questions or needs, they both really put the time and effort for months to understand every detail and in and outs of my case and they executed it impeccably. They also made me feel like family, you know that type of family that tells you what you HAVE to hear and know in these cases, even when is not pretty, so not exactly patting me on the back but it was exactly what I needed during this time. I hired Willie and his team to help me maneuver through divorcing a narcissistic, woman abuser. I ve never had a better attorney and he s the 8th or 9th one I ve had in my lifetime (divorces/probate). Willie, Ben & Chris are all straight shooters and not good at sugar coating but are incredibly CRUCIAL when representing a client which I needed more than someone to hold my hand and soothe me. I don t do recommendations usually for anyone but for these guys I will again and again. I hired an attorney because I had a case and needed the best attorney there was. This is it- this is the best of the best. Hands down- these guys are THE BEST there is. I never got to see them in a trial setting, unfortunately, as my ex shot himself 3 days before the trial. I was referred to this firm by another attorney and I am forever grateful for this team. I hired Chris as my attorney, but it truly felt like I hired Ben, Chris, and Willie. I was previously in an abusive relationship with someone who has a narcissistic personality disorder. To say my case was complex and difficult is an understatement. This guy tried to make the divorce/custody battle a living hell for me. Keyword: tried. Ben and Chris were able to teach me an endless number of intangible skills that gave me all the strength and hope I needed for my court date. Don t even get me started on Willie. His actions speak louder than his words. Let me start off by saying everyone at Cantu & Cantu Law is incredibly awesome! They literally have been like family to me. I came in with a child custody/divorce case. I initially had a consultation with Willie and he gave me really good advice and made me feel as if i were talking with a really close uncle. I had a few consultations prior that day before meeting up with Willie and the atmosphere just made me feel like this is the one Willie was very understanding and because i had did most of the work already by filing most documents already he didnt quote me a high retainer fee like most other offices i had already spoken with quoted me. Willie mentioned his sons that are a part of the firm Chris and Ben. Chris was the one that handled my case and we WON! Chris is very thorough and makes sure that you as his client understands everything that is going on before any agreement is made. He takes time to prepare with you many times before trial, as well as Ben. I have met up with Ben a number of times to go over documents and prepare for anything that may or may not be brought up. Hes very straight forward to the point and just a cool person. I remember he stayed at the office after hours to accommodate my work schedule and even said to bring my kids with me if i needed to. This is the worst experience we have ever had. My baby mother and I had an amicably agreed to split custody and Big head Ben came in and yelled at my baby mother making her cry. He is just a paralegal but still feels the need to bully young women by raising his voice to be the loudest in the room. You can tell hes rly compensating for the lack there of. One of the worst attorneys, I don t even know how he still has his license. Willie Cantu is very unprofessional . Was very disrespectful and will be reporting this law firm all over social media, state bar, etc. Willie hangs up the phone if he doesn t get his way and don t give you the opportunity to explain anything. He is very unprofessional and acts like a little kid with an attitude. He cancels appointments last minute, makes excuses, and does everything to avoid his clients. The only time he answers is to ask for payments. All they care about is taking your money and not considering his clients needs. I ve worked with the Cantu Law Office for several years and it has been the best experience. I m had one of the 2% of cases that are high contested meaning it is exhausting with heavy legal pleadings and engagement. I ll be the first to say, my case was stressful but Mr. Cantu and his entire team made it easy to manage. If I could rate Willie and his staff 10 stars, I absolutely would! Willie along with Chris, Ben, and Diana have taken care of my custody issues numerous times and have never failed to deliver me a positive result. Being a father in a custody case was though, but Willie made the whole process seaming less. Willies passion for helping others along with his knowledge and tenacity in court is why you need him on your side. Letting my previous attorney go and hiring Willie is the reason why I was able to obtain sole custody of my two daughters. The Cantu law firm took my case that went on a span of five years. It was a custody case that turned into a criminal case due to the mother making false allegations. Not only did we win the criminal case with a NO BILL we won custody in the process as well. His team is very detail oriented and investigate thoroughly. There was not one single hearing in 5 years that his team was not only prepared for but we won every time! They always treated me with the utmost respect as well as my family through all the hard times. They treated me and my family just like family even to this day I can call or text Willie at any point and time and gives me advise or just checks on my family and I! I m not sure how any negative information that is put on here could possibly be true if they ever were actually a client. I would definitely recommend the Cantu law firm and have recommended to numerous people!

Please do not hire this attorney. I hired him for an uncontested divorce with custody papers already in place. Something simple right but no this office did not take copy of all my paperwork I submitted to them. My phone number and email address was taken down incorrectly. Willie told me to have me ex go in three different times to sign papers due to their errors. At the divorce court the attorney left out a paper pertaining to my childs custody orders which the judge is still awaiting and this is holding up my divorce paperwork. I called to discuss this with Chris the attorney and have had both my appointments cancelled with no call back from him to date. I paid $895.00 upfront and this is the high quality representation they advertise on their website! Usually there is issues from the other parties not the attorney you hire. Divorce is already a hardship in itself , this attorney will just make it a bigger headache. Please seek representation elsewhere. This is my first review ever , thats how serious to me that this matter was. Also when i told the receptionist / attorney how am I at fault for this she stated no o e blaming me but not as simple as I think . My ex and I did not contest anything so ij dont know what made this so difficult for this attorney

If I could rate no star that would be it! The most unprofessional wanna be legal representation Ive ever heard of. I tried to have a simple phone conversation with him and because he didnt get his way I got hung up on, like a child would behave. Hes one of those people that feels he has to have control by talking louder and louder to try and over power the other person. His team of so called law professionals are in the dark, while they advise one thing he comes back and completely says the opposite. They are not prompt in returning phone calls, it could be over a week before any one touches base with you. While they are NOT board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization you may as well be throwing your money out the window. Hes nothing more than an ambulance chaser, dont waste your time or your money on their false misrepresentation.

After talking with Willies legal office. I had made arrangements to pay and sign the retainer agreement. I arrived to an office on a Monday that was locked even though appointment was within office hours. I called several times through the day and was finally able to leave a message with the receptionist who was extremely unprofessional and unable to answer basic questions. To this day, my messages and e-mails have not been returned.Not a good indication of an attorney who is supposed to represent you. If you are in need of a good attorney, please reach out to Sally Goodman. Sally was able to assist me prior to meeting with her and has an office that will answer their phones.
