Bún ch Hà N i is DELICIOUS. It is good and very flavorful. The meat had just the right amount of fat (not too much). If I had to say something though, I wish they gave a little more bún (vermicelli) noodles and prefer the meat to be a little charred. High quality dish overall though. I have not found many restaurants that make this dish, but the few that Ive tried in DFW, this is hands-down the best. 5/5 C m t m gà n ng (broken rice with grilled chicken) is usually my go-to dish at a Vietnamese restaurant. It was ok, but not what I expected. The chicken was too sweet for me and wish the chicken was more charred. 3/5 Bánh mì xíu m i (meatball sandwich) was good, but wish it was a little saltier. Just a personal preference though. 4/5 Bánh mì c bi t (special sandwich) was on point. Very good. 5/5 Sugarcane drink 5/5 Chè ba m u (three color bean dessert) was good, but just a hint too sweet for me. 4.5/5 Pho was also good. Service was also good. Everyone was extremely nice, and the restaurant was clean. There was a steady number of people going in and out. I will definitely come here again and try other foods. I highly recommend the bun cha Hanoi. Parking is horrible during peak hours though, but not the restaurants fault.

District One Saigon Street Food offers authentic Vietnamese flavors with a fresh, crispy Bánh Mì and delicious squid pancakes. The sandwich had savory meats and fresh herbs, while the squid pancakes were crispy outside, tender inside, and perfectly complemented by fresh veggies and dipping sauce. We loved the bread so much we even brought some to have at home also. A great spot for Vietnamese street food lovers!

We had such a great time discovering rare dishes not served at other Viet restaurants! Let me tell you, their springs rolls are special and different from other Viet restaurants too. We got the set of 6. My kid had the Grilled Pork Banh Mi and she loved it. We also ordered the stewed beef rice noodles and it was pretty good. My other fav was Pork & Shrimp Banh Xéo. I enjoyed adding fresh mint leaves and this other leaf to it. Interesting leaf... it tasted like shrimp and fish, so it actually gave the fish sauce another dimension. Omg, it was so good! I am coming back! Btw its pretty good prices too. It was pretty expensive eating BCD across the parking lot.

Its a great place for pictures They have the original sugar cane juice. Really good. However, $6 for a grande/medium size cup is very, overpriced. Spend some time and drive to Garland. Cheap prices. Excellent homemade food. Better service too.

Street food is considered the second most attractive feature. No need to go to luxury restaurants, no need to spend too much money, you can still enjoy countless delicious dishes at Saigon dictrict in Carrollton. Locals always need quick, cheap and delicious meals to continue their busy day. However, for tourists, finding a delicious street restaurant that suits your taste is not simple. If youve really left Vietnam for a long time and youre afraid youve forgotten the taste of the street restaurants in your hometown, then go to Saigon District in Carrollton . will help you recall a little bit of memories and familiar flavors.

Worst service ever!! We came in, and no one greeted us. There was one person who came in before me. We both waited for 5 minutes while being ignored. After 5 minutes, his wife came in and asked if he got a table. He said no; they saw us and just walked right past us. They went to the checkout area to ask for a table and did the same. We got seated, but no one came to check on us for a whole 20 minutes (also, while we were waiting we heard lots of people were asking where was there food, how long is it going to be til they get their food? One older women came & was saying that they waited for long time, the other table that came after them already finished & others were saying they waited over an hour & a few others left.. like just walked out). We ordered Banh Bao and Bot Chien for appetizers, Mi Quang and Com Ga Xoi Mo for our main meal, and my husband ordered a lemonade. Food came out after 35 mins. My food came out 10 mins before my husbands. We had to get ourselves silverwares bo they werent provided to us and my noodle soup had already came out & they NEVER checked on us so my husband went to their station and got it himself because he didnt want my food to get cold. 1. Bot Chien never came. 2. His drink never came until he half way finished his meal & HAD TO REMIND THEM after trying to wave them down bc they never came to check on us after taking our orders. 3. Banh Bao 8/10. 4. Mi quan 6/10 it was decent... could be better. Feels like its missing a lot of flavors in there... just dont know what it is... 5. Com Ga Xoi Mo 4/10.. my husband never throws away food, he barely touched his plate. Chicken was bland.. no flavor, the rice had a red color to it but again.. no flavors. I thought it was weird so I took a bite of his chicken.. and not only that theres no taste, there is a bad smell to it like the chicken hasnt been clean properly before frying!! We finally finished eating, even helped them semi cleaned our table, husband already walked to the cashier area to pay while Im still sitting at the table about to get ready to leave after I take a last sip of my drink and one of the lady came & ask what about your Bot Chien? Were making it right now? I said were already done. Please cancel it & she did.

Banh mi was skimpy with the filling and bread was very dry. The staff was a bit unfriendly and preferred to bus tables then take order or otherwise pay attention to the customer.

I recently dined at District One Restaurant and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. Despite the enticing pictures of their food on the menu, the reality fell short. The dishes did not resemble the appetizing images advertised. Moreover, the prices were unjustifiably high considering the quality of the food. Overall, District one Restaurant fails to deliver on value, and I would not recommend it to anyone seeking a satisfying dining experience. They also automatically charge an 18% tip, not stated anywhere on the menu.

Intro: Want to try a wide variety of Vietnamese cuisine? Want to know what it feels like having Vietnamese street food? Want to try a Vietnamese restaurant that is truly different? This is a good for that. Pros: The menu has a large selection, including some of the hard-to-find dishes such as nem chua ran (pictured). There are good representatives of different Vietnamese regions which is impressive, considering how ethnic owners usually offer the food where they come from so ethnic restaurants tend to narrowly focus on a very specific region of a country. This place does offer a diverse selection. The owner is friendly. Cons: The price is a bit high while the portion is a bit small. This is perfect for trying different things or to fulfill that certain crave. But if I want to just have bowl of noodle for dinner, then I would come out of here unsatisfied.

Overall the food was mid level. Not great, but not good. I have had it before so why i give it a ehh review, cause this last time the meat was extremely salty that I could not eat it. I will say the server at least corrected the bad cook with chicken replacement, but still was a waste of money for not getting for what you paid for. The appetizer was good, but horrible service sequence. Came out same time as food, Big No! Learn basic food sequence and deliver appetizers first then meal. Its basic 101 in food industry. Like I said I am being generous on my review due to past okay experiences on food quality, but last visit honestly deserves a 0 star. Overall, food is overpriced for the quality so be warned, and not good enough service or place ambience to compensate the price.

Interesting menu. Quite different from your typical viet place in Haltom and Arlington. A lot of different items that I have not tried before. Flavor profile was a little toned down, does not have that typical viet noucnam infused taste :-) Prices were a little high for the portions. Mi Quang I had was small for almost 13$ although it did have 5 pieces of pork and 2 shrimp. The cockles were a little overcooked but the sauce that came with it was spot on. Loved slurping that down the throat. It was so good.

My friends who lived in Vietnam recommended this place. It s good but not if you re vegetarian. There aren t many vegetarian options. My table ordered things not vegetarian like the summer rolls and a meat pho (I don t remember what) For me, I ate the vegetarian pho. I love the vegetarian meat; it s so soft and falls apart in your mouth. I also ate a little rice cake without meat. To be honest, without meat, it doesn t have much flavor. I also also ate the crispy pancake with mushroom. I really liked the crispy parts. They were a bit oily, though. Vegetarian options: Not a lot of options and hard to know if things are vegetarian

All of the dishes were not bad, but nothing really stood out. The consistency and flavors were not like I grace had at other places. District One has been on my to-try list for a minute now and Im so glad we finally got to try it. We stopped in at about 8:30 on a Saturday and it wasnt too busy (considering the shopping center is always packed). We ordered the DS7 Nem Chua Ran, DS8 Bap Xao Bo Trung Muoi, DS12 Banh Trang Tron, C3 Banh Xeo Tom Thit, and my partner got a sugar cane juice. The order arrived quickly and everything looked and tasted so fresh. The banh Xeo was perfectly crispy and a hearty size. It was my first time trying banh trang tron and I was sad the experience had to end, so good. My partner even said the sugar cane looked darker like it was really fresh pressed and tasted fresher, too. Prices are great and the staff is helpful. This was an excellent experience and District One is a highly recommended spot for me. Parking: Parking can be scarce in the busy shopping center.

District One has become my Friday night go-to place. It has incredibly delicious authentic vietnamese food! Every time I go I try something different and it keeps amazing me! Whether is the spring rolls, the báhn mi sandwiches, the authentic street food items, the vermicelli bowls or the rice plates, theres a little piece of joy in every plate, and all for an awesome price. Tonight we were offered with a baked salmon fillet special with rice and a chicken curry with noodles, and let me tell you that it has been the best Ive eaten in a long time and will definetly be a favorite. I hope more people can experience this cuisine and hopefully enjoy it as did. (I will owe some pics as I was almost 3/4 of the way when it hit me)

Unfortunately, my last visit was a big disappointment. Wife got bun bo hue and she said it was not very good at all, it lacked flavor and even adding mam ruoc did nothing to improve it. My daughters favorite dish, fried chicken tasted like the chicken was not fresh or up to par. We made the server aware of this and the message was relayed to the management or owner but they did nothing. Thats a bad experience and not something worth coming back to when theres great Thai or Korean food nearby. Hopefully they improve from this event to improve from it because if people continue to provide less that adequate food to customers, theyll begin losing customers. Older post.... This is the best Vietnamese food place Ive found so far in the Dallas area. Garland and Rochardson places are over rated compared to this place. Bun cha Hanoi is really good here. Get the Chilli oil, it goes great with it. I use the fresh Chilli too. Banh beo is also my favorite. It comes out very hot like it should be! It will burn the roof of your mouth but the portion is perfect. Also try the Chilli oil with this, it gives it what I call a bun bo hue banh beo flavor! I lived in Vietnam for 10 years and my wife who was born and raised there loves this place.

Fills you up but not that stuffed can barley walk feeling lol. Nicely seasoned broth on the Pho bowls, hot & steamy! Loved the fresh egg rolls served hot, straight out of the fryer! Wait or was kind. I enjoyed that they serve cold ice water by the pitcher and bring you ice cold metal cups from the freezer. It was 100 degrees that day so this was refreshing. Seating was a bit tight and chairs/benches not comfy. I need a lil more cushion for comfort while I dine, but overall good dining experience and ambiance was vibrant. Ive come here a couple times, and its always a nice quiet place to get a quick bite to eat. But this last visit was so phenomenal I HAD to review. I brought my friend on a whim and we were just blown away by how amazing the food was. He had a stir fry, while I got a banh mi and a grilled pork chop rice plate. The banh mi was amazing as always, but the grilled pork chop was on a whole other level. It was so tender and juicy, and the marinade packed it full of flavor that seeped into the bed of rice below. And I just want to add--I dont know what they do, but even their white rice on its own is super delicious and rich. I dont know how they do it. My friend also showed much appreciation for his food, and we were both beyond satisfied with how the food came out. The cherry on top is that we got the meet the owner of the restaurant (he actually waited on our table!). He was incredibly sweet and personable and you could feel his passion for what he does. He was very excited about his newly printed menus with even more photos. He made his way around the tables and had conversations with the patrons and talking about his business, all the while delivering grade A+ service. Amazing food served by amazing people, in a beautiful restaurant. What more could you want?

I know for the fact that he is fascinate about his job and I wish he would keep his restaurant growing. Must try the Bun Bo Hue since its the closest thing to Bun Bo Hue in Vietnam. Make sure to ask for mam ruoc as well.

UPDATED: The owner of the restaurant sang to us for our anniversary was really romantic he even gave us a dessert to eat. I was surprised we really love this place a lot! we really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately it was not worth it. i got stir-fried shrimp noodles (13.99) and chicken fried rice (11.99) for takeout earlier this afternoon. i just opened the containers, and the portion size was extremely tiny for the price i paid. i have been to other restaurants in the area that charge less and give larger portions. the shrimp stir-fried noodles had a total of 4 pieces of shrimp, and only enough noodles for one small serving. the rice quantity is very little and is barely filling the bottom of the box. i understand that costs are expensive, but there are other establishments with food actually worth the price. while it tastes generally good, it is overall not worth the price i paid.

This is a new restaurant opened in this busy shopping area. On weekends its hard to find a close parking spot. But I went on a weekday noon, so the parking isnt a problem. The biggest problem of the food is the small portion. I ordered a pho (beef rice noodle in the soup). They dont have size options like other restaurants. Only one unisize. The portion is about 30% smaller than it in other restaurants with the same price. Thus I ordered another appetizer to fill up my stomach. For the flavor, its general. General means its tasty, but not be remembered, and not be impressed. But I would visit again in the future as its close to my home.

Amazing and authentic viet food but presented in a more upscale way compared to most Vietnamese restaurants. Don t be fooled by the modern aesthetic of the restaurant as the food has great flavor. The selection includes very traditional foods that I ve never seen in DFW before so I m glad I can come here now. I got the Banh Cuon Dac Biet (combination Rice rolls) and it came with everything the traditional dish has in Vietnam including the nem chua (sour pork patty)! Will come back to Carrollton just for this restaurant!

I was walking around the Asian area in Carrollton been here many times for Gen Korean BBQ. I was showing some friends around and got a little hungry all the other places were pack and this one wasnt. My friends wanted Pho so we tried it. Mostly due to no people in here. I was pleasantly surprise I ordered the vermicelli with pork and side of chicken. It came out super fast and it was delicious. My fiends enjoyed the Pho. Vermicelli 6 outa 10 Pho 6 outa 10 they liked it Only gripe i had about this place is they didnt have a Vermicelli with pork and shrimp and got charged $3.00 bucks for 4 small strips of chicken not even a full chicken breast that I ordered on the side. Other than that the food was good recommen this place Forgot to take a picture Parking: After 6pm good luck finding any parking in the parking lot due to all the restaurants

The restaurant is really nice, I love how quiet and peaceful it is in there and the waiters are supper attentive!! They were also very patient with us trying to figure out what we wanted! The pho broth is absolutely bussing, 10/10 might be the best broth Ive ever had, it honestly didnt need any spice added to it, but if you add spice it just enclaves the flavor even more and its so delicious. The pork chop is cooked perfectly and the way the juices from the pork chop beautifuly coat the rice, which gives a sweet and savory smooth flavor and bite of rice each time is amazing. the fried squid is great!! Its piping hot when you get it, so watch out! The flavor is great, not too overpowering at all and is a great appetizers! The murals on the wall are absolutely stunning to look at while you eat. And it conclusion for the price it is 1000% worth, 45$ (without tip) for a giant plate of rice and the pork, a giant bowl of pho for boyfriend, two pork skewers AND the fried squid. The quality is amazing and so is the quantity. I cant wait to come back and try something new <3

Finally Vietnamese food that I like! Ive been meaning to try this place since they opened and I was pleasantly surprised with how good it was. Every single thing that we tried was delicious! Apologies for not knowing all of the dish names, but the little rice custard cups were awesome... I ate 3 of them. This is also one of a very few places that puts the liver patte on the banh mi(I think), which is an absolute must IMO(Whatever it was, it was good). The shrimp and pork crepe thing tasted really good but one complaint would be that the shrimp need to be peeled. The vermicelli was my least favorite dish, but still not bad in any way. As for the prices, lets be real, were not in Vietnam where we can get this stuff for pennies on the dollar. We had rice custard, banh mi, vermicelli, shrimp+pork crepe, 2 yogurt cups, wine, annnd a BBQ beef skewer and our bill was something like $54 before tip... thats not that bad. I will be a repeat customer, there were so many other things on the menu that we didnt get to try!
