Id love to give this a better review, but this place isnt open enough for me to try more options off their menu. Everytime Ive come, its only been opened once. I will say their macaroni salad is amazing! Their fish was cooked amazingly, but the seasoning was a little weak. Their coconut shrimp was AMAZING! People didnt look happy to be working, felt like I wasnt welcome either. Wasnt bad service, but wasnt very welcoming either, if that makes sense.

It s my first time at the restaurant. the picture looks actually pretty good, the plate looks full, but it s only rice. I paid almost 25 USD and I would say it wasn t that worth. As I said, it had mostly rice. The chicken was flavorless, but the shrimp was good. The pasta salad was ok and the salad ok too. As I said, not worth the 25 bucks. And service, I would rank it as good as the food. Not that good! :/. Not really welcoming, it should be a 3 star review, I m just giving that extra star because the lady told me have a good day right when she was giving me the back already.

Very small establishment - two ladies, a kitchen, and a grill. Take your meal to go, as there is little sitting room. The menu is no-frills, which is a good thing; they sell only what they know how to make well. Kalua pulled pork was tender and delicious, better than most barbecue restaurants in the area. If youre a fan of Spam, the musubi is great as a starter, too. Definitely a unique highlight in an area with mostly chain restaurants.

the food was not good nor fresh! i paid over 30$ for my meal that wasn t enjoyable, i tried to be respectful & speak to the manager but she was very rude ! and kept saying why didn t I call the day of when I did! No one answered , i spent my whole break waiting on food that was horrible she refused to give me a refund because I already ate their food which I didn t! I work late so I called when I could. I offered to dig it out of my trash and bring it back since it s nothing she could do. Even still she offered a 5% discount which is nothing compared to the 30 i spent on ONE PLATE! so much for trying a new place. if I could give them a -0 I would.

I had the chicken katsu plate, very delicious, very crispy, and fresh. Rice cooked perfectly, side salad was tasty although it did big chucks of lettuce and it was still quite appetizing. Macaroni salad was seasoned well everything was flavorful. Otai was fresh and fruity, however, I felt like I needed a bigger straw because fruit was too big to make through. Overall, I would definitely recommend coming here to anyone who is a foodie looking for something new.

Ok so Im just going to say it, just straight up. The Hawaiian BBQ chicken plate was so freaking good, when I tell you that plate was heavy... son Im not a small fella and I didnt put a dent in my chicken and rice the salad was a nice little side salad nothing special but the mac salad oh lord the mac salad I had to tear myself away from it cause it was so darn good. But back to the chicken, sweet and smokey and the glaze was so good and the chicken was so juicy and flavorful. I got an order of coconut shrimp on the side and they were good as well. But my wife got the chicken katsu, good lord that was the thickest most tender chicken katsu Ive ever tasted. The two women that were there tonight when I went were so sweet. I asked for their opinion about what to order and they gave me the real real and I appreciated it so very much. I loved the food so much I am writing this review about an hour after eating the food because it was that freaking good. I will be back!!

The music, and the atmosphere is chill. Their food is great. The people working there are great. It was a new experience trying Polynesian food and would recommend to others. (My only complaint is eating on to-go boxes when I am dining in.) !The Hawaiian bbq chicken plate. Its probably the best dish next to the teriyaki. Its sweet and savory and blends well with the salad, macaroni salad, and rice. !The teriyaki beef plate. Its a classic you cant go wrong with. Nuff said. The otai! Its probably the best I have had in the area. Its a pulpy drink consisting of watermelon and pineapple. Yum! The Lau Lau is an interesting dish. The pork is slow cooked in leaves. And yes the leaves are edible! I would describe the taste like the savory pulled pork youd eat with tacos. Fyi. None.

First the food is incredibly tasty, that I cant lie. Spent $16+ on the loco moco... and it had pre-formed beef patties with textured vegetable protein (tvp) in it, for sponge like consistency. For $16+ you guys can spare a pound of 73/27 beef for a higher quality product. I am reluctant to try a burger there. I get costs are high and all but the difference is about a dollar in price and you already make $10+ in profit for the ingredients used. Would be 5 stars if not for the tvp beef. Included pic of the whole product and the tvp beef

Customer service and online ordering. So online ordering is updated with what is actually in stock at the eatery. After placing my online order I was called as they were out of Teryaki Beef, only had about half. They asked me if I wanted something else, well no, I ordered the Teryaki Beef because I was in the mood for beef. I didnt want the combo plates the woman offered me...to make it easy I said just do what beef you have and then sub Kalua pork....well apparently its not that easy because I was informed that the meat was all pre-portioned (freshness?) in either Bowl or Plate portions, and I could only choose one of the other combination plates that they had. At that point, as they did not have what I ordered, I requested a refund...still wating on that (will call Chase in the morning to dispute the charge $59.92 order). Other places in the are that I will continue to go to, just thought I would try somehting new. Pineapple Grill and Hawaiian Bros much better customer service. Again this is related to their customer serive, food not sure about...but will be a hard pass from now on, Mahalo Nui Loa!

Thoroughly enjoyed both the people and the food here! Super sweet lady waited on us and cooked our food. Both the chicken and the beef and rice turned out delish! Well most definitely be back to try something else.

If you want fast food, this is not your place. But if you are looking for a freshly home-cooked meal, this is a GREAT spot. Ana and her family rin the place and have brought the authentic Hawaiian flavor home to Texas. I recommend that you call in your order so you dont have to wait. I have been eating here since 2014. Consistently the BEST Hawaiian food in town.

First time eating here. Had the Loco Moco, kids Katsu, and the Hawaiian BBQ chicken plate. It was all phenomenal! The portion size was enormous the macaroni salad was spot on and I don t know how they do it but the Loco Moco actually tasted like Hawaii! It was perfect! Are on the patio because we could wait to get home. It was fresh and amazing! We will definitely e coming back!
