Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. I went to dinner with my husband because we thought it would be a good idea and what happened to those who prepare the hamburgers, they really curse, I wont say which ones because they are strong and no one told them anything else, we ordered dinner for dinner, there was a girl with short hair. curly with glasses and a red bow he carries it in a bag we tell him it was for dinner there and he gets upset by hitting the food with the seat on the side very bad experience I took the delicious food but the super ugly treatment

Drive thru service is always lagging even if there is no line, they have 2 lanes and one is always closed. Fries are always soggy never fresh and gravy is always too watery and everytime I ve ordered a Jalapeño on the side it s been missing. Idk if this just happens to me but it s a constant thing. I ve stopped going as often because of this.

Their lettuce is gross. Never can put easy mustard. Under cooked patties. The problem with whataburger is that none of them cook the food the same. Each whataburger is different. And another thing, why cant they warm up the buns! Maybe one day they will learn to properly cook the fries .

I love coming here all the time , great service , but Jackie at the window handing our order did a very poor service. I understand it s probably been a long day and can be frustrating sometimes if something was wrong but to not understand what an entree was or to make it seem my mother and I were wrong is a whole different thing. We were missing a burger and I had told her to look at the receipt but she couldn t find it , even though it was right in front of her, i pointed it out and UNTIL she looked at the screen is when she noticed it . A simple apology and understanding would ve sufficed but no so please be mindful of the people you re serving .

This place is in need of major improvement. Fries are usually cold and over-salted. They forget to include the gravy you ordered but they wont forget to charge you for it. Drinks often lack syrup. Get it together.

Usual hustle and bustle here. Not sure what really goes on. 4 out of 5 of my last orders have been wrong. Soggy buns, fries are mostly left overs or have been there for awhile on all my recent orders. Fish sandwich was WAYYYY over tartar sauced and they keep forgetting to 86 the tomatoes. Lets see what happens next time

Horrible service. Somehow four other cars that ordered after me got their drive-thru order before I did. Not only was it slow the proceeded to then give me the fries upside down thrown inside my bag and forgot the sauce that I had paid for. Only good part was the person working outside the drive-thru was understanding and apologetic.

I really love Whataburger but I cant keep giving this Whataburger chances anymore. I always ask for extra crispy fries or onion rings and regular ketchup and grilled onions on my burger. They keep messing up. Today, I hit my limit. My fries were very crispy but instead of a medium order they gave me a few scattered fries and it seemed like just burnt ends. My onion rings were literally charred!! They actually got my ketchup right and grilled onions but like I said, I hit my limit today. With the price so high on the combos now and to get a few scattered fries is wrong. Im gonna have to drive farther to a BETTER Whataburger

Worst Whataburger experience I think Ive ever had. Ordered late at 3:00 am on April 26th with about 2 cars including myself in the drive through. Woman took my order got my order wrong and forgot my drink even though I ordered a small chocolate shake on the side. When I mentioned that she didnt ask for my drink that I wanted a coke zero she assumed that the shake was my drink. Long story short she gave me attitude because I wanted the coke zero that came with my combo, fries were cold, and burger order was wrong. Im not even a difficult customer but damn the crew didnt even try not even with 2 cars this late, freaking insane lack of professionalism and work ethic.

The service is bad here. They forgot the cookies on my kids meals. This is not the first time they forget stuff. Ironically, for today, the cookies were the deciding factor between Whataburger and McDonalds. I personally like Whataburger better, but the kids really wanted them cookies. Got home with the order and nada, no cookies. Then you call, and its if you are bothering them. wow. Plus, they dont do anything to make it better, At least offer an extra cookie or a free drink. I live 15 minutes away. Thats a 30-minute round trip because of a mistake on their part. My recommendation is to check your food before you leave, even if you hold up the line for a little while. Kid-friendliness: They have good cookies. If you do drive thru, make sure you check the bag.

The burger is always good but the speed is terrible and dont even get me started on their fries. They are absolutely terrible. They never taste fresh. Idk what they do to them. I prefer to drive 15 minutes to the next whataburger bc their fries just piss me off. I order thrue the app and as soon as I finish the order on line Only a few minutes passed and I already had the order in my car. It seemed too fast and suspicious to me and I told the employee who took my order that I didnt want it to be a pre-prepared hamburger that was freshly made... He assured me that the They had just made it but they looked stupid on my face since the meats were not freshly made and were lukewarm... I ordered a salad for dine in. However, it was so cold in the dining area that I gathered my food and decided to eat in my car. Managers, bear in mind that the atmosphere matters when eating. This used to be THE Whataburger in Edinburg. It might still be based on the lines, but the burger is not the same anymore. The last few times, their bread on the burgers is too large and is crumbly, flakey. It works, but Im not saying WHAT A BURGER at this place.

Went through the drive thru for chicken strips but asked for fresh fries. Lately their fries are all cold. After getting my order I drove home and when I sat down the box had no chicken strips. So I called and spoke to Jacob. I went back to the store and they gave me the strips and hot fries. I opened the box and it s missing a chicken strip. Management wasn t too happy about having to give me the chicken strip or fresh fries. Multiple mistakes that could have been avoided. Horrible never coming here again. What kind of customer service skills are those? You mess up the order multiple times and then get a bad attitude because you messed up?

I arrived to the drive through and the employee let me know thank you for holding Ill be right with you I told the employee its fine since Im not in a hurry. Both drive thru lanes were open and someone pulled up at the other lane after I arrived, I saw the employee let the other car know the same thing she told me. The employee took the other cars order which, again, I dont mind since I wasnt in a rush. The employee came back to the intercom and let me know again she would be right with me. ANOTHER car pulled up to the lane next to me and the employee took their order AGAIN before assisting me. The employee then FINALLY proceeds to get my order and as I order I ask the employee if they have sweet tea (since theyre always out) and she says yes. She then proceeds to start talking to another employee with the mic on and I say Im sorry? because I didnt understand and she says Not you, Im talking to my girl. FIRST OF ALL, super unprofessional and if youre talking to your girl maybe learn to take your microphone on. She then proceeds to talk to her about my order as if shes training her then tells me to move forward. Im already frustrated because that was rude, and I was extremely understanding because I know working the night shift sucks. The thing is, there were no more than 4 cars at the drive through so I dont understand why I got such hostile attitude. I pull up at the window and I give the lady Keira my card to pay, but the name on the receipt says Cashier: Miranda T. Keira then proceeds to repeat my order as two large sprites to which I reply no, I ordered two sweet teas. She then tells me they dont have sweet tea (no surprise) and she gives me a nasty face and I brush it off because Im not a hostile person. I then tell her to give me sprite, she gives me my order, and I drive off. I just want to say, I understand, working night shift at a fast food restaurant can be tiring. I work at a 24 hour emergency clinic, I UNDERSTAND, but you are there to work a JOB. I do NOT deserve nasty attitudes for your bad day, either take a break or go take a breather.

I was eating breakfast and watched a worker mop the floor while talking on the phone. Then he used the same mop to clean the cabinets where they stock the utensils, creamers, napkins. There was only me and one other person eating and the workers were talking/joking around. Three separate customers came in. No one greeted them. They just kept talking. So I watched them leave. Really bad service all around.

Worst Whataburger experience BY FAR. Manager Miranda is rude. I asked for a Bacon Cheeseburger with grilled jalapenos inside and an extra meat patty. I received instead the coldest, dryest, lamest regular burger, no additions, no cheese, no bacon, no extra patty and of course no jalapenos (pictures attached). Basically I got ripped off for around 5-6 bucks of missing items even when I specifically told the lady behind the window that the burger was special order and to please check that everything was correct. I guess now you have to go as far as to unwrap every single item before you drive off the pickup window.

They can never get an order right at night. Ordered a chicken sandwich and ended up with a spicy burnt sandwich. Fries were cold and the coke was watery, how do you mess up a drink?

It had been while since I d been to Whataburger and I really like this location! The staff seems to work like a well oiled machine and the food has been on point. Breakfast and dinner, both good!

Worst Whataburger in Texas do not go here because if you order your food to go and they mess up they will not refund or give you a credit instead they tell you to go in and even if you do they won t compensate for your lost time and gas for going back and having them do it correctly. Don t bother with the manager joe Garcia he won t care or work with you at all even though they are in the wrong they are just cheap and don t like giving food for free to make things right
