Wow, did this location improve! We decided to give it another try, and this visit not only was the food good, but especially the service! It was accurate, fast, friendly, and the attention as well as the recommendations were spot on! Whatever happened... we are so very glad we came back and hope to visit again soon!

If you see my profile, I dont usually give low reviews. But today was a bad one. We ordered food to go and the pick up time Was at 230 p m today we placed the order around 140 pm. We arrived timely and waited 40 min for our order in there lobby. Kept being told , 2 more mins. Well after 40 min we got our food drove home, we live 6 min away. The food was ice cold. How? We order a little under 100 dollars. I honestly felt like we were robbed, we ordered no chives on anything, everything had chives, we ordered our steaks medium, all our steak temperature were well done. I ordered a side of mushrooms, not even in the order, a loaded potato as a side, nothing to load it with. How do I wait 40 min and get ice cold steaks? They are understaffed and should not take to go orders. I had not been before and was planning to take my wife on our anniversary next month, but Ill go elsewhere...

Was not very busy for a Tuesday night. Husband ordered the Chicken Laredo and I got the 10oz sirloin and shrimp. Steak was as good as you could expect without any add-ons, husband loved his meal. The potato soup was yummy! Server was kind, and we had water the whole time.

We went for our anniversary and the food was just okay. I didn t care for their queso or the complementary bread. The Cesar salad wasn t impressive and I couldn t finish it because I just didn t care for the flavor. My steak was delicious and cooked properly. Very nice, spacious restaurant with excellent service provided by Kimberly and Michael. Celebrated a friend s birthday here with chicken tortilla soup, salad, steak and shrimp. They serve a nice bread with butter to accompany the meal. The decor is western with saddles, different taxidermy animals, etc. great choice of booths or table or bar and also has outside patio seating. Thanks team for a great birthday celebration location!

Maybe my favorite dinner I ve had since coming to El Paso. Zach was our waiter and was fantastic. We went full steak mode. I got the 16oz ribeye, she got the filet. Both were excellent. Service was great! The food not so much. The brisket (in the tacos) could have used some charring or something (was watery/soft in not a good way) and had a weird aftertaste. The Wagyu steak was flavorless, and the shrimp did not taste good. Unfortunately, we were expecting the food to taste similar (or better than) cattleman s. I would put more emphasis on hiring skilled cooks or perhaps changing the way the meat is prepared if this is not the cooks fault.

Wow! the experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and friendly welcome from the hostess, setting the tone for what would be an exceptional afternoon. Every staff member, from the waitstaff to the bartender displayed impeccable professionalism and genuine hospitality. I dined at the bar and the bartender was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations, ensuring that my dining experience was perfect. The food was, of course, phenomenal. Never ate here before. Lunch was way overpriced. Small portion with only one side. For the price, should have included small salad and 2 sides. I thought the chicken would be a safe non spicy meal as menu didnt say spicy. It was loaded with yucky black pepper and possibly cayenne. Couldnt finish and we had to head for Target after for Tums. Miserable experience, do not recommend.

The staff here are amazing. A friend and I ordered food for pick up, and the orders were both missing ranch. (Salad) We didnt notice it till we were back home. We called just to let them know stuff was missing, the person who answered offered to drive it to us. I told her she didnt have to, but she did. It was amazing customer service. What we didnt notice is that we asked for the salad without bacon, but once we got the ranch and started eating, the salad did have bacon. So that was awful but 5 stars because of the customer service.

We booked a reservation early in the week and went the Saturday before Father s Day! We were seated within 15 minutes of our reservation time, and the food and service were on point! Our server Taylor was awesome and we will be requesting him during future visits. The managers were also kind and attentive, making sure we had a positive experience! The restaurant in west El Paso was quite busy but they handled it like pros! We never had to ask for refills and the food was cooked to order. We all agreed we will be returning soon!

First time visiting, great alternative to texas road house next door, as its just as good or better and less busy. More authentic all around I would say. Steaks were a little off the mark on temperature, but close. Would be nice if appetizer/bread dishes were cleared before entrees came out as it was pretty crowded on the table. Dont even think about Texas Roadhouse... it is just a distraction next to this place. The Saltgrass Steakhouse is significantly better than any chain Steakhouse restaurant you can think of. This place does it right. Its my first time here, and I can say honestly, it is a wonderful place. The food was amazing, the service was amazing, the drinks were outstanding, and I couldnt be happier with my experience here. I spend my free time traveling the country, and while I am on the road, I am always visiting a variety of restaurants, this is the top 3 best places Ive been in over 14 years of traveling the United States on my free time. A must try restaurant. Definitely stop by and give it a try. You will not be dissatisfied.

Saltgrass never disappoints. I live x7 hrs away in Tucson so to eat here is a logistical nightmare, but worth it requiring an overnight stay. Despite this hurdle, while limited to special events well gladly continue returning as able. Upcoming Fathers Day and the Mrs birthday prompted this recent visit. Being a Sunday evening we arrived on-site unsure what to expect. We were able to find limited available parking. Crowded but not packed. The building appeared well maintained and free of any noticable defects or deferred maintenance issues. Warmly greeted by the hostess desk staff. Experienced no wait or delays in being seated. Similar to the parking lot the restaurant dining room was crowded but not packed, busy but still had ample room. The place soon cleared out as guest seemingly arrive and depart in waves. After a short wait we were approached by Katherine or Catherine, not sure but she called herself Cat. Cat was simply delightful. Her knowledge of the menu was simply impressive, Cat helped us navigate the menu with great ease. Based on her recommendations we ordered the bacon wrapped stuffed quail. The quail arrived cooked to absolute perfection. The quail is served in a small cast iron skillet which contained a base of seared Brussel sprouts in a honey surrachca glaze with four pieces of the quail on top. The appetizer cost $18.99 and while reasonably considered pricey, worked out to $2.25 a bite and despite the cost Id highly recommend it and hopefully plan on partaking upon it again in the future. My wife ordered the ribeye with a loaded baked potato, wedge salad and accompanying crab cake. I ordered the big porterhouse , Mac-n-cheese and a cup of the tortilla soup. The food arrived promptly, it arrived as ordered and without incident or deviation. The food arrived hot, fresh and delicious. While every aspect was simply exceptional in quality and flavor, Id easily pick the crab cake as the star of the nights table. Dining out isnt remotely about stuffing your face alone. Its truly about an overall dining experience encompassing the ambiance, the food and the service. This establishment shinned in ambiance, the kitchen equally shinned in culinary excellence providing a fantastic bounty of delectable treats cooked to prfection. But the star of the evening clearly was our server Cat. Cat displayed a professionalism seldom seen in the post pandemic world. She thrived on providing the level of service that defines the difference between being a patron and being a valued guest. We truly felt valued as dining guest while in Cats care. We clearly werent her only table, but she made us feel as if we were the only reason Saltgrass existed. Saltgrass proudly honors a military discount, which is ALWAYS appreciated Parking: Was busy but still had ample and abundant parking availability. Kid-friendliness: Kid menu was available. Wheelchair accessibility: The establishment is a modern facility within full ADA compliance.

The food was good and served hot. I really enjoyed the salad. I was there on a sales pitch for Probiotics 365. I know they limit when the waiters can come in, so there were no refills, but that is why I get a soda and a water, so it will last. It was not the waiters fault. The meal was paid for by the presenters so I do not know how much it wouldve cost. Parking: Parking can be difficult at their peak times but since we went at 4:00 there was plenty of parking.

We were passing through on our way to Arizona and decided to stop for dinner. I had never been before so being my first time I was impressed. My steak was cooked as I wanted and was seasoned well. I had the Pats ribeye, asparagus and salad. The asparagus were seasoned well also. We had the rattler appetizer and that was unlike anything Ive ever had before but it was good. My husband ordered the filet mignon trio, he said the steaks were great, the 3rd topping of blue cheese bacon butter was not good, he said it was pasty, oily and just did not taste good so he scraped it off and other than that he enjoyed everything else. Our experience did not start well. We frequent Salt Grass but on this occasion we had a very rough start. Why the 5 star confusion? One person turned our entire visit around, and this was Tyler. We made a reservation for mother s day 2024 knowing how crazy places get. We arrive on time and the hostess greets us but makes us wait which was a bit of downer as we were punctual. As we wait they seem to be getting ready to seat another group that has come in and at this point we were waiting about 10 minutes. At the the 15 minute mark, they finally seat us and we re all ok as we expect to be taken care of. We wait, and wait. And wait, and another 15 minutes passes by. This whole time i see 3 waiters pass and serve tables around us, and no one even acknowledges us to let us know they will be with us soon (as it is of course, busy). 2 managers pass near us as well and were looking around like we definitely would like some help, but, nothing still. At this point we re all frustrated and ready to leave as we ve been at the restaurant for nearly 40 minutes. As we get up to leave i pass Tyler and express our frustration (something we ve never done, we usually just leave). And to our surprise she apologizes and steps up. She explains that she is a manager but that she wants to make up for the situation by personally taking care of us. So we stay because her reassurance. Let me just say, she did not disappoint. She quickly takes our orders, brings out bread and doesn t write a single thing down, which is impressive. From this point forward, she makes our visit possibly the best visit we ve ever had at Salt Grass in El Paso or Dallas. Our drinks are always full, food is fast, and correct, and we feel very well taken care of, all because of Tyler s dedication to serve us. Needless to say, she turned our visit around and made everything special, especially for my wife on mother s day, who was just as impressed. With people like Tyler around, we will always come back to Salt Grass as well as recommend it to our friends and Family. We believe her service will continue to raise the entire establishments reputation for everyone who visits. Give her a raise and make sure you all take care of her because people like this are incredibly valuable and very hard to find. Thank you for everything Tyler. Hope we see you on our return.

Omgee, from entering Saltgrass Steakhouse, you are greeted with warm hellos and smiles. First impressions are everything. Our Server Taylor was amazing! He was very attentive, made suggestions and his personality made you feel as if you had known him forever. Management Tyler and Brittany were both amazing too. Each visited our table making sure everything was to our liking and if anything was needed to let them know. I appreciate good customer service, but this was GREAT customer service all around. We will diffently be bringing any out of town company here to enjoy the experience. Repeat customers forsure. Thank you Taylor, Tyler, and Brittany for making us feel as if we were the only guests.

Our server was Jamilla. The best part is that mens restrooms have automatic sinks that DONT stop for the entire time youre washing your hands. Our server was always smiling. Excellent service. The Atlantic salmon tastes amazing. Mac n cheese could do some improvement. (Im strict with mac n cheese)

This was our second trip to a Saltgrass Steak House in less than a week. We (me and my Bestie) were traveling cross country. Tuesday, we visited the Biloxy Saltgrass Steak House. Super WOW experience [I did a review for that one, too] Our waitstaff member was Cameron, super friendly and accommodating. The food was always phenomenal, cooked to perfection, and all of our allergies accommodated with a warm smile. We started with the Shrimp Coctail. I enjoyed the atmosphere and company to the point, I completely forgot to take photos of the Bacon wrapped Filet. All i can say is the Bacon Wrapped Filet was melt in your mouth deliciousness. The Gluten-Free bread was a great treat. Dietary restrictions: They have a Gluten Free menu, however seasonal items like the Bacon Wrapped Shrimp is not listed. Our server, Cameron, checked to make sure our food accommodated our food allergies.

Saltgrass usually doesnt miss with their 16 oz medium rare ribeye steak, but the one I got ubered today had a nasty overbearing charred after taste. I thought that only a small part of the steak would taste like this but to my dismay the whole steak did. It tastes and smells odd. Mac and cheese was good though.

Came to pick up my to go liquor and told the hostess my name and just to have a seat and it will be out in a few minutes. Waited 20 minutes, nothing when I asked the hostess if she knew how long it would be for my drinks she said I can show you to the bar, had to go twice over and remind them. Been waiting still. Our meal was good, but our waitress wasnt very attentive, she never brought us our bread after it was done baking, all the other people were getting theres with their servers, when we questioned her about it, she said didnt think you would want any we were still eating our meal. And the music was a little bit loud as well.. I dont mind music but when you cant hear the waitress/ waiter it is loud. Food was good though.

Peter and I ended our work week with what turned out to be a real treat at Saltgrass. You can have a great steak at any number of El Paso restaurants, please know the bone-in rib eye we just devoured at Saltgrass is without a doubt second to none. It tasted smoky with a scrumptous caramelized crust on the outside, loaded with flavor! Cooked to perfection - one of the best ever. Another reason we will go back to Saltgrass is the service. Daniel was so pleasant, easy-going, and above all attentive. Delicious dinner, inviting atmosphere, attentive server, we will be going back.

We always enjoy our meals at Saltgrass. Too bad the bacon wrapped quail legs were taken off the menu.. they were delicious. Steaks are always good and the carrot cake is Bomb! If I could give negative stars I would. I was there on saturday and it was my first time coming and everything went horrible. I ordered a drink and I just moved here so I have an out of state ID and the server thought the ID was fake which it was not. She got the manager involved no big deal was annoying. I work as a bartender and all your servers should know how to read any ID. My husband ordered the ribs and they were chewy and not very good they forgot his side that he ordered. My steak came out raw and took forever for them to fix. All the food was over all gross and cold. I spent 90 dollars at this place for food that I would not have given my dogs. Neither the server nor the manager tried to make anything better before we left. I will never come back. I never write reviews but overall I think you need to teach the mangers and the servers come better customer service.

My wife and I and a couple of friends went there to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. About 15 feet away or so, eight individuals were just laughing and cackling at the top of their voice. My Apple Watch gave me a loud environment warning. Ruined it for everyone. Turned my hearing aids off, still too loud. Server had to repeat herself several times so we could understand. Probably won t go back.
