beautiful park to go for a nice walk. there are a lot of ponds with turtles in them. Plenty of spots to sit and relax and listen to the birds in the shade. its a very well taken care of park. we will go a lot more now that we know about it.

Huge park with several baseball diamonds, soccer pitches, basketball courts, huge pavilions, swings, slides, jungle Jim s, and splash pad. They also have a walking or jogging paths close by. Very well maintained and scenic. A great place for all to enjoy or relax. They have several benches and picnic tables also. Everything was very well maintained. Playground: Swing sets, slides, and jungle Jim s. Toilets: Several clean restrooms located throughout the park. Picnic area: Benches, picnic tables, and huge pavilions.

Park 10/10 Super large perfect for walking. 4 different play and slide areas. 1 large splash pad Too many grills and benches to hang out and close to the play areas to keep an eye on your little ones. My daughters loved it Playground: Very good, it has 4 different sizes Toilets: I dont know how many there are but I did count approximately 4 around the park. Dog-friendliness: If you have your own area for dogs And trash cans with bags for the dogs waste.

This park is great for families, dogs, and fun. The splash pad is great, the walking trail is wonderful as well as the skate park, several slides, and baseball park. The only thing I wish was the dog park was bigger (like the one in McAllen) as this one is not very accommodating for larger dogs and more people.

I found my place to do my walking, even if I have other parks closer to me. Here, you wont be constantly seeing the same people over and over as you walk, Because this park is that big enough. You can walk around just 1x, and you already feel good and burned pretty good calories. But do it 2x, and youll feel great and is productive enough if you are that person who keeps track of your daily steps.

Next to it is the World Birding Center. Thats where I take my nature pictures. Two of them came on the UTRGV gallery magazine. The park has a total of three trails and three small lakes. One trail is a 1 1/2 miles. The gravel trail is one mile and the other small next to the 1/2 mile gravel running trail that goes in a circle. There are is two three big playgrounds with three basket ball courts. Two with sun cover and one in the open. Kids are allowed to feed the ducks. Entrance is free.

My son and I tried out a lot of local parks (and there are a lot) near McAllen, but we always find ourselves coming back to this park. Because of this, we treat it as our sacred place for walking. We usually give each other a fist bump before heading our separate ways for an hour to experience the wonder of the park. The staff keep this place in pristine condition and I usually bring 2 Ziploc bags full of bird seed to feed the local birds even in the hot summer.

This place is really pretty i enjoy coming here all the time it really is a nice spot for family and hanging out if you are in Edinburg this park is the best one yet! The only downfall is the restrooms. Everyday Im there I see about 5+ park workers and Im not sure how this never got fixed. Im sure they have enough man power to do this 20 minute job. Definitely will make kids extremely uncomfortable. Toilets: No privacy walls.

Its a great place to spend the entire afternoon with the family and friends. There are barbecue pits and tables to have a carnesazo. There are playgrounds for different ages kids , also thera are a couple of small lakes to fishing. I definitely recommend you visit this park.

It is a decent park when visited in Spring 2024. The grass and trees were nice. There are about 4 different playsets or playground in a close range. Most of them are in good condition. There are plenty of picnic areas or tables with shade in good condition. The water park seems to be functioning well. I did not give a 5 star because there does not seem to be an effort to maintain the playsets. Some just need a little cleaning and a few bolts tightened. I understand that the city paid to have a 20 year warranty, but just get a wrench and tight up some of the screws, get a vacuum clean up. I did not walk the trails, I did not visit the restrooms, so I have no opinion. It was a day with low crowds and I did not see any law enforcement pass by.

This a very beautiful park its got ducks , geese a bird trail. Also has dog park , soccer field baseball etc. Access to walking trail, jogging and bicycle trail. Last but not least splash pad and enough playgrounds spread around the areas. Playground: Its got for toddlers and older kids very nice and all spaced out. Toilets: Yes access too restrooms also available. Dog-friendliness: Its got a dog park enough said. Picnic area: Picnic areas spread out I. The park so plenty of spots.
