A clean and inviting atmosphere. Ive gone there a 3 times now and each time everyone has been so friendly. I went with friends each time and we made it a point to eat there after we finished our shopping and the experience has been delightful each time. The first time I ate at the place on the very end not sure of the name but we enjoyed catfish and Chicken both of which were really good. If I had to compare the two I would say the fish was best. We had sides of fries and collard greens. The sides were good as well however for my personal taste I think the greens were just a tad bit sweet for me. We ate there a couple of times and found the flavor and quality to be consistent. The third time I was there we went to the Caribbean place again so sorry dont remember the name of it but its right next to the fish place weve decided well work our way up and try each place at the Caribbean place we all got stuffed turkey legs which were huge and good for the most part. One of my friends thought that the turkey leg tasted as if it had been frozen for a while / old but not bad just not the freshest. I got mine stuffed with dirty rice which comes with a type of sauce or gravy over it. I enjoyed the rice more than the turkey leg. One of my friends got the turkey legs stuffed with cabbage The cabbage didnt have enough flavor for either of us but it did taste fresh and was cooked well. So although our experience with the turkey legs was not the best we do plan to try the this place again and to try some other dishes that they have. Im wanting to try their oxtails they have regular at jerk and Im also wanting to try their lobster mac and cheese just because it looks so delicious. So well see if we feel better about this particular location the next time. Each time with gone weve made purchases at the Sea Moss shop which is absolutely the best! They sell sea moss gel that tastes so good you forget that its good for you. My favorite is the peach cobbler My friends are like the strawberry pineapple I think it is I plan to try other flavors but let me tell you if youre in the market for this the peach cobbler is fire! There are food trucks outside, places to sit and eat outside if you prefer and plenty of parking the bathrooms are clean and the area where you sit to eat is clean I really like this place and plan to continue to go and explore more of the market. So sorry that I dont have photos to add Ill try and do that the next time anyway see you there! Oh yeah The only criticism that I have its not a really major one but it is what it is when Im eating I cant find a diet soda a couple of places that do sell them are always out so I would think that that would say theres a market for it but every time we go we have difficulty finding a diet soda last time you couldnt find one at all for us its important because its more than a matter of taste one of my friends cant have sugar so she needed something that was sugar-free thankfully there is a place there that sells some type of juices made with something like a fresh puree and they made us sugar free drinks they have not sure what place that is but its in front of the Sea Moss place... I think... Im not sure I didnt pick those up someone in our party did.. after we split up and each went in a different direction to seek out drinks with no sugar.

This was a good experience. There are a lot of vendors, a little something for everyone. From jewelry to hair service to my favorite, food. Everything smelled amazing. On this visit, we stopped by the sea moss shop and the seafood truck outside. Before going back out in the rain, (flash flood warning), we stopped by the restroom. They were clean and had a pleasant smell. At the sea moss shop, we sampled a few flavors before making our selection. As for the food selection, that was a no trainer since my children love seafood. Definitely, will have to come when its the weekend and good weather.

Stopped into Jimmys Watch Repair to have batteries replaced in two of my hubbys designer watches that hes owned for some time!(40 yrs) Yes, they are very old & in great condition, just like he is! Jimmys Repair did a great job! There are a lot of interesting & very tasty shops in the Desoto Market!

This place is set up very nice and totally exceeding my expectations. I thought it was a supermarket but its actually like a boutique shop setup. With food places and a lot of different small business owner places. Dance studio, Braiding salon, Sip n Paint, Art Gallery. Definitely a good check out.

I love the variety of vegan options at Sheltons Cafe located inside the Grow Desoto Market Place! The vegan pound cake was an unexpected delight that left me wanting more! I plan to order a full cake in the near future. This was my second visit at Sheltons, and I love their customer service and food! The vegan hash is wonderful--the okra is a wonderful touch. I tried the vegan bowl. The wonderful fresh flavors.... Oh, the strawberry ginger lemonade was wonderful! I will take more pictures next visit.

Food: Freshness: 10/10 - The ingredients tasted fresh and vibrant. Presentation: 9/10 - The dishes appeared visually appealing and appetizing. Flavor: 5/10 - While the food looked amazing, the overall flavor lacked depth and seasoning. My daughter (a previous satisfied customer) also found the dishes less flavorful than before. I arrived here on a Tuesday around 4:50 pm with my family. I walk in and all of the vendors that were not food related was closed except one. They on to the food places inside there were about 8-9 places inside and only about 5 were open. Outside there were 3 food trucks and only 2 were open. It s honestly becoming hard to support black businesses with the tricky hours.

They have a variety of shops here in one location of this mini shopping mall area. I really like the shop with the cell phone accessories and the sea moss shop because it have a variety of flavors of sea moss. Do not sample taste the sea miss on an empty stomach. It works not very long after taking it. It has great health benefits, and you will be rid of congestion in the body.

Love this place so much. When you first go in, on the left there is a woman who sells the BEST Tamales. Me and my dad had been wanting them for a while and they were out by the time we went there but there was this lady who had ordered some but never came so we got her food (yes we still paid) She gave us chicken and pork ones and they were AMAZING. Right in front of the place there is this snow cone place and its sooo good. And theyre cheap too. I had a tiger blood mixed with pina colada with pineapple pieces and I cant even explain how fantastic it was. They were in a food truck and right by them is another food truck that we never got to but you can smell the bbq and it smells so good but we dont get there in time. Overall the whole place is really good for small businesses and food places

A fabulous afrocentric strip mall collective of unique, one of a kind jewelry/clothing shops & eateries all in one place...its tucked away from a busy street but visible with open parking & not too far down from Walmart... had a great first time experience at 2 Neighbors eatery & Chas Fragrance and will definitely go back to visit other shops, I had no idea this place existed and was pleasantly surprised!

There are quite a few hidden jewels in this shopping center!! There are handmade candles, original canvas art, and handcrafted home decor. The food is absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere is friendly!
