I started the night with the Jumbo Chicken Wings with the MoCity Wing Sauce, and boy, those wings did not disappoint! The wings were fairly large, had a nice crispy layer, and layered with delicious MoCity Wing sauce. I would definitely order again. After the wings, I followed up with the 5 lbs of Crawfish with extras such as corn, potatoes, sausage, and shrimp. All seasoned with MoCity House Sauce, their most popular seasoning. They do not skimp out on their seasoning, so expect flavor bombs hitting you left and right! The crawfish tasted fresh and everything else was superb. My wife and I were able to finish our whole order and left super satisfied. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to any crawfish/seafood boil lovers! Last but not least, shout-out to the restaurant owner Van for being so accommodating and quick to service us as soon as we came in. His recommendations were spot on.

This Crawfish was Gooooood. The size of the crawfish today were giving shrimp . They re killing your favorite crawfish spot with their 5lbs for 25 dine in special. I only had the crawfish today because I came in alone . But I will be going back to try the rest of the menu. Could be my new favorite spot . I also had garlic butter + Cajun for $2 more. Decided to go to Mo City crawfish to try it since a lot of people rave in the crawfish group on FB. Walked in and it was no one there. I went on a Thursday around 4pm, and it was one lady there. They had their prices on the board which read, 11.99 per pound for crawfish. I ordered two pounds which was the minimum. I ordered Cajun garlic, and for two flavors its an additional $2. The eggs was 2 for $3.50. I thought that was a complete ripped off. They were tiny!! Like really tiny. Ive been eating crawfish and have gotten bigger mudbugs at other places for cheaper. Also, getting down to the bottom of the bowl, the crawfish was cold. I can tell they were frozen and not fresh. So basically $13 per pound for small, frozen crawfish. Complete scam. I was not impressed nor will I come back. In my opinion, there are other places with better service, better prices, and better sizes. The lady was nice though.

I frequent this establishment not only for the great tasting food but also for the friendliness of the owners (Van and Michelle). They are always welcoming and doing their best to serve their customers. For crawfish flavor I prefer Cajun+garlic butter. I also like the garlic noodles and wings. At this point I ve lost count on the amount of times I ve been. It s definitely one of my favorite crawfish spots. I have told several friends about it and they all really enjoy the food as well. Highly recommend!!

It is crawfish season!! So you know what that means! It s time to scout for the best Crawdaddies in the city. After seeing this place mentioned in a Fb crawfish group my PIC (partner in crawfish) and I decided to check it out. We arrived a little after 8:30pm, the only was frantically taking orders because he didn t want the kitchen staff to walk out on him. I asked what he suggested and he said the crowd favorite was the house special. The food came out VERY quickly, which did make me suspicious. My suspicions were correct. I absolutely REGRET IT! This is the ONLY time I ve had crawfish that were inedible! The food was cold and the sauce tasted like burnt onions. The owner left the restaurant before I could address the issue with him, but the manager wasn t any help. She offered to give me a complimentary potato OR corn on my next visit. Bewildered I ask NEXT VISIT?! Ma am I didn t even eat this, and you think I m coming back??? NO WAY!

They called the police on me and my group because the owner Van disrespectful wife thought we were dining and dashing because of our skin tone. She was rude taking our order and it only got worse as we ate. He degraded and yelled at my group and if things was worse, anything could have happened. Van kept making excuses for his wife and not once offered an apology, only free crawfish as if that was gone make the situation any better! 10/10 would NOT recommend. Im giving 4 stars due to inconsistency. I drove from Cypress to visit Mo City Crawfish on a Wednesday. The service was amazing, food was delicious!!! I ordered the 5pd crawfish special in the flavor House Special. It was so good to me that I decided to take my daughter for her birthday which was a Sunday evening. Let me say my experience was the complete opposite. The customer service was so bad, I didn t like the way they made me feel. The lady (sorry didn t get her name) asked us if we were ready to order without even giving us a menu. I can see that she was overwhelmed so I was very understanding and not rude. She then gives us menus but kind of rushes us to order. (Strike #2) being that I was there Wednesday I just ordered what I had, plus add ons. She didn t put the order in her tablet as before nor did she repeat it for confirmation. Then the order comes out wrong, I notify the guy of what was wrong with order. He then comes back and said I spoke with her and she said she repeated the order . It made me feel like he was calling me a liar but he corrected the order so no big deal. The crawfish was dirty and the half of the potatoes were hard But whatever I ll be the bigger person! They never checked on us to see if we needed anything after this. I sat patiently for the lady to close us out. When she finally came over, the energy was hostile. I personally will not discredit them altogether because my experience on Wednesday was amazing and the food was bomb. I think they have to figure out how to maneuver those busy hours. Would try again if I am in the area.

Ordered 5lbs crawfish and suppose to get + 1lb free crawfish from them. The bags are so light, so I weight and it only weight 5lbs only(included the bags and a lot of water inside). Call the restaurant and tell them its 1lb short. and the male owner tell us that is correct. They weight 6lb crawfish before they boil and due to the water loss only have these much left. I told them we never heard of it and none of the crawfish place do that. They refuse to give us a refund. I ordered medium spicy house special flavor and the Crawfish has no taste and the flavor was awful. Taste like crawfish boiled in plain water. I want to give 0 star if I can.

These days, we trust businesses to do the right thing by, be honest, and give great customer service. Mo Ciry Crawfish has failed on all 3 levels. First, a little positive; the crawfish were good. Good flavor and decent spice level although I probably could have handled the spiciest they offer which was one more step up. Customer service wasnt great or fast, but Im fairly understanding about this especially since I decided to come in as late as 8:00pm. The place was nearly packed (its small Inside) but there was one woman running the orders. I ordered shrimp egg rolls ahead of my crawfish. I took one bite into them and had to spit it out. They were filled with some kind of pasty cream cheese. Ive never heard of that in an egg roll, but if thats how they prepare it, no problem. I personally cant eat cheese because Im allergic. I kindly requested to send them back and was met with something Ive never ever heard in a restaurant before: I cant take those off. IF the menu included the ingredients, I could understand, but it did not. So now Im stuck with $7 egg rolls I had not even taken one full bite from. I kindly asked to speak to the manager or owner. Of course the response I got was not here. (My suspicion is that the lady running the orders was actually the manager or owner). I took a pictures of the food, kept it, and decided to call a few days later. The same lady answered the phone and told me (get this): we dont have a manager and the owner is not here. IKYFL! $7 wasted for me, but much more a loss from them as I would have gladly been a returning customer if not for their bad decision making and unnecessary attempt to save a buck.

Their crawfish prices are incredibly cheap, but they make up for it with everything else on the menu being so expensive. The calarmi appetizer was $18 for an appetizer serving size, and their fries werent very crispy. The garlic fries were just garic powder on top of fries. I thought it wouldve been tossed on fresh garlic at those prices. The seafood garlic noodles were only ok. The house special sauce for the crawfish is very good, but they add too much of it and make it too salty. The house special sauce on some fresh, crunchy fries would be amazing. I did not appreciate the waitress asking us if we wanted other items on the menu, which made me feel pressured to order them. I asked to taste the sauces so I could know which one to try. He charged me $1.00 for each sauce that I tried. He didnt ask what spice level or anything. The 2 sauces must have been extra spicy that he bought me. The House Sauce was very salty and tasted weird, the Garlic Butter Sauce was just nasty. Neither were any good, so I chose the House Sauce spicy. The sample sauces were way spicier than the spicy sauce. I ordered the Boiled Seafood Platter with 10 Shrimp, 1 lb of Snow Crabs, and 1 lb of Crawfish, 2 Sausages, 3 Corns, and 3 potatoes. It just wasnt good at all. I forced myself to finish the crawfish, a few shrimp, and little snow crab, and a couple bites of sausage. I didnt touch the corn or potatoes because the sauce was trash. I had him bag up everything and I will try to see if I could fix it tomorrow. 3 other guest ordered boiled seafood and was disappointed as well. The person that didnt order boiled seafood liked the Catfish and fries. Worst birthday dinner ever. I only came here because of the reviews from Crawfish Chasers, but maybe it was an off night. They dont have gloves or the seafood bibs either.

Food was fine, but the service was horrible! The worst dining experience I ve ever had! First, we asked the lady if we can change to the booster seat next to us as we really didn t like our table at the door and she straight up to us saying that she didn t have time to clean the table. Ok fine! Then the table next to us got their food first even we ordered before them. And guess what? We waited for almost 30 minutes to get our food and she ordered the wrong flavor! She kept arguing with us that we changed the order and we were the one who ordered the wrong flavor. Hello, how did I not know what I wanted?! Then she took the crawfish back and brought them back like 5 minutes. Instead of making us the new order, I can tell they simply dumped out the previous sauce and mixed the sauce I originally ordered. So my crawfish was mixed with 2 sauces. Well, I can understand the crawfish might take longer when there were crowded, but I don t understand why a pho could take almost 30 minutes as well! When we asked her if she could give us the pho first as my 6 years old was really hungry and she just walked away while I was still talking! Never had such a horrible dining experience in my life and this is the first restaurant I didn t tip! Thank you for ruining my Friday night!

It is savory and bursting with flavor, my favorite! Outside was coated with the flavor. I loved it! I love the deal they have with crawfish costing everywhere about $8-10. This definitely is some bang for your buck. You don t have to compromise on the flavor either. Fried platter 4/5 Pretty decent platter. Nothing too unique. I was calling to see how much crawfish cost for their restaurant and also to confirm a deal my friend told me about since I have never been there. Went to MO City Crawfish last night, not impressed at all!! Only good thing is That you can take your own beer, which you ll finish while waiting, then the owner starts serving his friends that sat after you & tells you he has known them for 5 yrs lol Crawfish has no taste, he didn t want to split the 5/25 we wanted 4 lbs house mix and 1lb of butter, he refused and said because crawfish was already boiled The rice had no taste at aLL, catfish and shrimp were cold & small (by the way that was more like a small tilapia). Calamari was soggy Af for $16 & it s not even a lb. The salad was dried, asked for more dressing and the owner refused to bring more dressing because to him it already had a lot All he did was go around the tables complaining that he had to be the server at his own restaurant. Pros: the Mini egg rolls & corn were good. Save the trip and go to Blazing Cajun(Sharpstown)

Warning: If you go in the early months of the crawfish season, make sure you ask the size of crawfish. We got crawfish that was the size of my tiny pinky finger and some were so puny small they broke up while I tried to peel them. We came on a Friday night at peak hours around 7:30pm. It was jam packed and the owners were too busy to look up and acknowledge us. We just went and stood next to the only available table for a long while before we were seated. We ordered lemon pepper wings and two orders of the the 5 for 5 special crawfish. One order for House Sauce and one order for Cajun Garlic Butter sauce. The crawfish were cooked perfectly. I would NOT order the house sauce; it was not the typical Vietnamese house sauce Im used too and was bland in my opinion. The Cajun Garlic Butter was much more tasty; order this flavor instead if you go here. Though we ordered spicy, they were not spicy at all. So make sure to order the triple hot level. However they did accommodate and re tossed my order with spicier hot chili powder. My order was for house sauce they were small and temperature was lukewarm, but my other order was huge in size and steaming hot. The sausage was ok...not spicy or flavorful. The corn was cooked perfectly! Service was decent once you are seated. If you go, do NOT go at peak hours and do NOT order the house sauce if you are used to the Vietnamese style sweet, orangey, onion, garlic butter. Other than that the special 5 lbs for $25 is a pretty sweet awesome deal than anywhere else.

This restaurant is located beside star cinema grill. Michelle, i believe is the owner, helped us with our orders. Ordered 5lbs of crawfish and some shrimp to go. Love the house sauce (cajun+butter garlic). They also offer pho, and other Vietnamese entrees. Service was excellent and the food was great. Just a little note on the restroom, there wasnt any hand napkins to use when we were there and a little disorganized. Other than that everything was great. Will be back for sure!

So, great reviews here. Place is tucked in a all signs are the same strip mall. Drove 30+ out of my way to patron. Clean with a Japanese and American football theme. Plus the Predator figurine on the counter kinda like that. Somewhat greeted by a young uninterested in his work male. Chef specials and everyday happy hour. I m a nigiri/sashimi man, myself. Initially excited to see uni on the menu. Asked what fish was out of stock as always uni and sea trout. Waiter said nobody orders it nor toro. Bummer. Ordered albacore, escolar, ikura, saba, suzuki, tai, sake, hokkigai, and ruby tobiko. Menu is a bit jacked in translation. Fish quality was somewhat there with exception to ikura no snap, old, frozen. My two gripes were the knife work and amount of rice. The cuts were jagged, fish torn, and cuts laid haphazardly. Too much rice and it was stiff. I could ve filled a bowl. And the saba, suzuki, and snapper were topped too much scallion. Lemon on the saba as well. I prefer none that s all you ll taste. Brush it off. Waiter, same dude, was attentive. Not sure if the itamae is new or just lost his edge because of Missouri City. They could easily be a 5 star restaurant not from me.
