My mom and I love Brittany to the fullest. When we first moved her, she did nothing but show us a lot of love. She is a great individual, and we love her service. If we could, we would rate her 10/10 and highly recommend her. Also, I commend her for the excellent service she provided even with having to run the bar by herself and the place being busy and her continuing to get orders at the bar.

Everything about this restaurant was great. The food was excellent, though my food has cooled down (but it was so good I didnt send it back) so that made it a 4, the service was great - Naomi was very personable and was a great waitress. The atmosphere was good visually and noise-wise, but the AC was cold and there were multiple vents making us cold, hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

My girlfriend and I were expecting to have a nice steak dinner, but did not have that experience at this location. She ordered her steak medium-well. It was delivered to our table rare. We alerted our waiter, and he took it back to the kitchen. Her meal was then presented back to the table, and her steak was the same/original steak from the first incorrect cook. The fresh steak, which was supposed to be medium-well, was medium-rare. We asked our waiter to take the plate away, and cancel the order. He did as we requested and he also spoke with the manager. He came back to let us know that her order had been removed from the check. Later the manager stopped by to let us know that her steak had been, what they called up cooked - meaning that if a steak is undercooked, the same steak can be re-cooked until a desired temperature/doneness. Only if a steak is overcooked, do they cook a new/fresh steak. This is a disappointing policy, since we had specifically visited this location to have a special and enjoyable, steak dinner experience. We did not have that experience at this location.

Doesnt seem to matter which one I go to, nobody seems to care from the manager down to the waiters and bartenders, Ive been to the one in mesquite three times and had to leave because of neglect when theres not anybody even sitting at the bar, the bartenders always seem to hang out down by the service well and never look up and have eye contact with any of the bar customers after about 5 minutes I just give up and well definitely never go back to that one and probably will not go back to any of them for that matter,!

For me to say this is quite a compliment. I travel for a living and eat out quite often. Therefore, I see a lot of servers. Robert is a great server I wish I could find more like him. I recently placed a to-go order for burgers and a salad at this location. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the quality of the food and the service. The burgers were carelessly assembled, missing the usual lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles that are typically provided in separate containers-they were just tossed in a container. Additionally, the burgers were undercooked, making them unsafe to eat. While the salad was somewhat acceptable, there were a few pieces of brown lettuce that needed to be picked out. Overall, it seemed like the order was rushed and not prepared with the usual care and attention. I ended up having to discard the burgers and going to Whataburger. I ve always enjoyed dining and ordering take out at your restaurant in the past, but this experience was unfortunately subpar. I hope you can address these issues to prevent similar experiences for other customers-it seems like these are common concerns at this location. Sadly, we will not be returning.

I love Saltgrass, but this was my first time to the Richardson location and I was unimpressed. A steakhouse ought to be able to get the cook on a steak correct. I ordered medium-well and it came out medium. I was so excited to try the brussel sprouts but then they just came out as blackened leaves. I get charring them, but these were completely inedible. We were there on a Saturday at lunch time and there were very few people in the restaurant, but our waiter didn t come out until we were almost finished and then just said, Was everything great? We were on our way to a play, so I didn t have time to wait for him to come around to check on the food and get my steak cooked, but he was able to replace the brussel sprouts and the 2nd iteration was better, with 1/2 that was edible. Plus, the waiter didn t ask for our loyalty card and I forgot, so we missed out on our points. I would love to stop at this location when going to an event in Dallas, but I was sorely disappointed.

I am sitting at the bar as I am writing this review and I have to say Im extremely disappointed. Saltgrass is a favorite of mine. I dont come here often, but I eat here enough to know that the food isnt supposed to taste the way it did. I got the Cajun ribeye, which I always get, and it was somewhat cold and had a bland taste. The Mac and cheese was cold as well. :(

My server Leo R was the best i ever had!!! I have been coming to this salt grass a while now and had NEVER had any good experience..before my meal today with him he was attentive, respectful and fast on his feet with every request me and my family made..he was great explaining the menu and had plenty of great recommendations as well! Had the worst experience at this location over the weekend. It started with the rude red-bearded host who doesn t make eye contact and literal left us waiting for him at the host stand for several minutes while he went who knows where. Server was friendly and nice but lacking in experience. To top it off the food quality has severely diminished since our last visit several months ago. This is my favorite Saltgrass location. The staff is incredibly welcoming, and the food is always hot and fresh. This location has clean facilities, a clean dining area, and welcoming bar. I have visited Texas before but this was my first time to Dallas. Our hotel was across the highway from Saltgrass Steakhouse and after a long travel day from Montana, it was a convenient choice. I have traveled to all fifty states and am not prone to ordering steak for dinner. But hey ... I was in Dallas, so why not try a Texas T-bone. I did. It came char-grilled to perfection ... the medium rare that I ordered. I paired it with a Caesar salad that was over the moon in its taste and presentation. Parmesan croutons that were mixed throughout the salad hit all the right notes, and paired with a bottle of Prisoner wine all made for a memorable night out in Dallas. No review would be complete without giving a shout out to Henry, our waiter. He was knowledgeable and delivered the highest level of courtesy and service to my wife and I. He needs to be commended. If I never eat another steak, Ill remember the best one I ever had ... Saltgrass Steakhouse.Try them the next time you are in Dallas, you wont be disappointed.

They used to have Great steaks and awesome service. After tonights experience, we will never be back to this location. Hostess refused our request to sit in one of the half booths despite none of them being occupied. Despite a Lengthy conversation with our waitress about our dogs and wanting to take the bone home to them and specifically ordering bone in ribeyes so we could. They did not include them for our dogs as asked. We called to complain and were all but hung up on with its just a bone! and they are probably already in the trash. Then I go back up there and get the same snarkiness from the manager on duty. I was also told that if I wanted them, I was welcome to go dig in the dumpster. The bags are out there! They did finally agree to comp part of the ticket. However, the whole thing was just entirely rude! Had they made the gesture on the initial call without me having to drive back, that might have been excusable. However, to berate a customer both on the phone and in the restaurant over their failure to honor our request and having thrown away our leftovers is simply unacceptable. I have been a Landrys Select Club member for 15 years and have never been treated this way at any of their restaurants. There are too many other steakhouses nearby to put up with this kind of behavior. If I want Saltgrass in the future, I will drive the extra miles to go to any other location. This location used to be a gem. It has fallen a long, long way from what it was over the past 10 years.

We dined thereon Friday night 4/19/24. Our waiting time was none and our server was Great. What was not was our meal. Our first was the crab cakes that was brought to our table warm outside and cool inside. Our meal came which was grilled chicken and baked sweet potato no season to chicken and it was warm. The butter was still firm and the potatoe was still firm. The other meal was ribs that were cold inside and same with sweet potatoe. I did not send back because last time I did my meal was microwaved and soft which was rattlers. I wrote all this on our receipt and our bill was $73. Needless to say that was our last visit to the location in Cedar Hill. Very disappointing

It wasnt bad, but it wasnt great. It was just ok. The steak was somewhat thin and the mash potatoes were dry, gluey and no flavor. The waiter had his thumb in my salad which grossed me out but I didnt say anything because I know what happens when you send food back. So I just ate it anyway.... The waiter looked dishuffled, not cleanly shaven and long hair. Just made the experience not so personal, like I was ordering a pizza or something... Steak wasnt that bad in flavor though. I love Saltgrass ... but this was a cut above the Saltgrass restaurants Ive been too. The food was perfectly.prepared. they met all of my requests with a smile. I like adding extra blue cheese here ... requested a side of the sauce that came with the beef tenderloin appetizer ... which is AMAZING. I think our servers name was James ... he was a good server!

Well, if you look at my reviews I am very critical. I am a Landry s Select member but that has never stopped me from leaving an accurate review. I am in no other way affiliated with Landry s and my comments and feedback reflect my personal experience. The entire experience from start to finish is a stellar example of why I am Landry s brand loyal. I came with a group of 75. No, that is not a typo. Maintaining an excellent level of service with a group that large, while maintaining an open restaurant on a busy Friday night is no small feet. They met and exceeded every expectation. I ordered an old fashioned at the bar. Prepared well. The bartender was fast, efficient and friendly. Drink excellent. I ordered a meal and made it complicated. Porterhouse, medium rare, Oscar topping on the filet side, Cajun topping on the strip side. It came out promptly, perfectly cooked and prepared. Everything was spiced perfectly as well. Not bland yet not too salty. My soda was never empty. May seem like a small detail, huge to me. If I had any criticism it is only the kitchen did not have Old Bay. BUT this is Texas not Maryland so there isn t too much I can criticize there. Kudos to a restaurant that is exceptionally run.

Overall food was okay. Try not to go on the weekends they re definitely the busiest. The best thing we ordered has to be the queso. I got the steak and shrimp but was kind of hoping for more than two shrimps for a $38+ steak. Overall it was just ok.

I am giving it a 3 star because its over priced. My first at Saltgrass. My sister and I came to celebrate our birthday along with our family about a week ago. Service was great! Our server was super nice and attentive. Everyones food was great, but I ordered the Blackended Redfish. It says it comes with shrimp and I got 0 shrimp. Its a thin slice of fish filet with a little bit of crab meat and a whole bunch of tomato. Big chunks of tomato. The flavor is good dont get me wrong, I just think its not worth $32. Im glad our party had a great time. I may try something else if I come back.

The only knock I have against this particular saltgrass is the same complaint I have about many restaurants these days. It was far too cold for a 30° winter day. I guess someone complained, because the temperature in the restaurant finally rose to a point where it was comfortable, and I could take off my sweater. Other than that the food is amazing. Steaks are done as a steak should be done. I would try the spinach cranberry salad. Delicious.

This place is very good. Service is always wonderful and the atmosphere is one of the best. The food is good but I do prefer some other steakhouses food over this place. The food isnt bad by any means, I just like some other places better. Overall this is a good place for dinner! They do need to revamp their country Fried Steak. Thats my favorite meal but I dont really like theirs. Has way too much of a smokey taste and the breading far out paces the actual steak patty. Need to make it where the gravy is more creamy and white, I think its got liquid smoke in it or something and that just doesnt work well to me.

I have been to this location a few times, so my review is to reflect that rather than my most recent experience or rather lack of experience. As I have worked food service before, when I realized it was just over half an hour before this location would close, I wanted to head inside and ask if the kitchen was still open or starting their closing tasks. If not, I would have liked to place an order to go. I instead spent the next 15 minutes standing in front of the host stand, being ignored by the staff to the point that I left. I am not the kind of person to order food 15 minutes before closing as I feel it is unfair on the cooks at restaurants. I normally have a very good experience here and the food is amazing. However, even if the kitchen was already closing or closed, to show some modicum of respect, someone could have approached to inform me the kitchen was closed (should it be true or not).

First time here as we are from Tulsa. Found it by Google reviews that said it was LGBT friendly. It was a Friday at 430 so we were seated quickly. The bread and salad were both good. The steaks were ok at best with the filet tasting the best. The ribeye was ok but not the best. As soon a we got our food a large table came in and our server forgot about us. No refills no service after they came in. Would give a five star but service was blown.
