I ate here two days ago. That night I started getting chills and vomiting and diarrhea. It was the chicken and dumplings that I believe were bad, as they tasted funny. I told my wife that the food that day was not that good. I hope they monitor their food temperature and length of time in the pan better. I dont like to post bad reviews, but when I get this sick from food, I have to let them know.

Thing that stood out most on this trip was asking for a rare steak and getting to table to cut in and it was well done. Took steak back to guy and he says give me 2 mins Ill take a new one to your table, he brought me a dripping, red as can be awesome steak. Definitely enjoyed my meal then.

The food its as always awesome! But the waitress with the name AYLIN she treat us real bad,never asked what we were drinking or if we need something else,my wife and my daughter were looking for the drinks fountain cause she never came and asked anything,my wife asked for a cup of coffee and she didnt even pay attention then after 30 minutes I asked her again but this time in English then she went and get it,the plates we were left were a big pile on the table cause she didnt even stopped and pick them up, always showing a bad attitude like she wasnt enjoying her job,we have been there several times and the other waitress and waiters were really nice and polite but this is the last time we go there,we rather to go to Brownsville or McAllen,sorry but its the truth,I still tip her 5 dlls cause we understand she doesnt make enough as a waitress,but like I said this was the last time we go there

I love the meatloaf! I love many other main dishes but that is my favorite. Great recipe you use, I wouldnt change a thing about it. The side dishes and desserts are also outstanding in my opinion. The service was also very pleasing. Golden Corral will always be one of my favorite restaurants.

3/20/24- Just left there with my family, no one came to our table the entire time we were eating. Everyone around us was given the courtesy of being acknowledged and getting service; so disrespectful, you can t miss a tall white dude, a Mexican woman and 2 children. The girl never made eye contact what-so-ever. The area we were in smelled like a wet dog. Food was acceptable. For 58.00 you would think they would at least come check on us once. I was looking forward to coming here after seeing the commercials. I was really disappointed with the quality of the food. The roast and pork chops were dry. The server gave me a chunk of grizzle with a slight piece of dry beef. Almost everything I tried was substandard to me. And I am pretty tolerant normally. I wont be going to any Golden Coral in the future.

All was good but the person serving the steaks was very rude. I am not used to be treated like I am in jail. He scream at my sister and I to get in the line and we were the first ones and she took the lady behind us first. I felt like I was in jail and getting the food fir free. Once again, I came by this Golden Corral location and noticed that Ashley was still in charge. When Ashley is working everything seems to run like a well oiled machine. This Golden Corral was amazing and very well kept aswell as orderly and Great for the kids! Restaurant has roaches, i mean residents climbing on walls and tables. That explains the crunchy bits in your mac and cheese. Both of their freezers have pink mold. The amount of dirty dishes and disgusting spoons that they claim to be clean and ready for the public is a joke. The soda machines don t get cleaned at night they just drop the nozzles in carbonated water that has a bit of sprite in it lol. The silverware gets dropped and placed back in the bags!!! One of the female Managers has hit on one of their underage employees. Is this the type of business yall want to be supporting??

I would like to suggest that management remind parents with young children not to allow them to run in the restaurant. I say this as a safety precaution because I am visually impaired and at times cannot see small children when they dart in front of me. They have a wide range of delicious food at a very good cost, from a variety of cooked meat - such as fried chicken, pot roast beef, fried Chicken sauteed shrimp and more. Potatoes that baked, in a casserol and french fried. Lots of veggies from salads, salad dressings, cooked green beans and corn on the cob and more. Their deserts were amazing from cakes, chocolate brownies, cookies and more sweets. Their coffee was very good as well the many cold drinks, such as Coca-Cola, orange and other flavors plus milk and chocolate milk. The staff was very nice too! Parking: They had allot of room for free parking right by Golden Corral Buffets building. Kid-friendliness: They had allot of foods that children liked - such as their french fries, fried chicken, yummy deserts and chocolate milk. I was here for lunch during a school field trip. The food was fresh and there was a large variety. I gave the service four stars only because it is a self serve place. The atmosphere was three stars because this location got very busy while I was there and alot of the other customers were very rude. I would pick a different time of the day to visit to avoid the cheapskate lunch goers.
