I was a frequent customer here but never again. After requesting a round of drinks, my waitress comes back and says the manager said I have to close my tab. I close my tab but they left a round of drinks on there that we never received and refused to refund it. Saying I would have to call my bank or come back the next weekend when that server is working again. Robbery and deceit. Just bad business

Brittney & Bri were amazing servers! Personality and energy on 1000! So fun an kind! They do offer hookah there but the server was not pleasant at all which almost turned us off from staying only because she was the first person we interacted with here. Despite this, the wings were great on Wednesday for 90 cent and the margs ! It s worth the upgrade outside of the $3 batch . We also were able to grab shots on their specials as well!

Nice evening spot. The Buffalo wings are amazing, service is good, the drinks could be a bit better. Update (in reponse to owner reply): We ordered an old fashioned and a margarita. Neither came out tasting quite as they should. I wouldnt say they were terrible though. That being said, I switched over to whiskey and ginger ale. All in all, Ive been there a couple times now and will be back again.

Update The owner contacted me and issued a refund. Thank you for resolving the issue!!!! We ordered the wings, which they were good. Explained to the server that we would be paying cash and she explained that they needed a card on file, which that was fine. As theyre closing she charges my card after my husband explained that we were paying cash. She then proceeds to take the cash and says that they reversed the transaction. I checked my card the following day and it shows pending. I called them and they said it takes 2-5 business days, which I totally understand. I called back the following week and they said they would have the GM give me a call, which never happened. It has been 3 weeks and no one has tried to get in contact with me to issue my money back.

Living across the street from this place has motivated me to lease somewhere else. It s very hard to rest in the evenings due to the loud noise of drunk people fighting on the street, (I have seen this firsthand from looking outside my window), loud car engines speeding from the bar, and shootings.

The constant violence and shootings really add to the excitement of drinking at an overpriced neighborhood sore. If it s not shootings it s people doing donuts in the parking lot. Can t wait for the city to finally shut this place down. Edit: since I can t respond to the owners comments, I ll say I saw multiple people out front arguing with the bouncer with some woman being yelled at for having a gun and the bouncers saying something to the effect of, I already warned you! But I guess it s possible people get all dressed up, drive to uptown, park behind the palms at 1 AM for a nice night out at our wonderful Walgreens. 3/4: Another shooting. People drive in, get drunk, go to the parking lot, fight/yell, shoot at each other, and drive away. Rinse and repeat. I just don t understand why this place has to be in uptown, just move it to wherever these people are driving from so they can shoot up the places they live in. Never thought a place would make me appreciate hipsters and their 10,000 coffee shops but I would pay a ton of money for this place to be converted into literally anything else.

They love to keep deleting my comment! I will continue to post! This bar has had several shootings. I lived across the street from this place and have heard several shootings total in the one year I lived there. All of the shootings happened at the Palms! Sad to say that this bar was one of the factors that drove me out of the apartment I was renting. There were more shootings & incidents that I was lucky to miss out on. The amount of cars revving their engines and driving the wrong way down McKinney is also something to note. This bar has increased crime in this community and put everyone s safety at risk. This bar needs to go! Residents of Uptown voice your opinion on this.

This was me and my partner first time here And it was our last. When I finally got my food which was not my first choice because they didnt have chicken for the chicken ranch flatbread it was good and hot which was the loaded tater tots, The drinks were not strong but I guess dollar margaritas you get what you paid for, our waitress was very nice and attentive, The music was good We really enjoyed that but it was loud, And its not for 40 plus its more of a college hangout but maybe because it was on a Wednesday But overall the food and music was good but I dont have to go back

The Palms was a small but cute spot. It wasnt overcrowded. My group was able to sit in a section and have fun. The dj was good. There are tables for ordering food on the covered patio with heaters. The waitresses were awesome. She remembered my drink as well as the other 8 people I was with. She was very personable and helpful. She danced and sang with us. We ordered lemon pepper wings. They were crispy and hot when they arrived. If i had to say something, it would be the parking. The lot isnt big at all. We parked in the garage on the other side of the street. Overall, I would go back.

Ive never been here in person and likely never will cause umm yeaa..I didnt move to Dallas to die. That being said... My Uber Eats order of wings and shrimp completely blew me away. Omg this food is absolutely deliciously divine. In the 18 months Ive been here , Ive tried no less than a million restaurants (living in the AT&T District makes that easy to do) and they ranged from getting my money back from UE to good. This order was perfection. Chefs kiss. I really had given up on the food scene here. Im legit surrounded by a million restaurants and find myself ordering ribs from Chili. Sad state of affairs. This place renewed my faith and Im going to try everything on the menu.

I went in on Tuesday for their special ($6 Repo). When I specifically told my waitress that I wanted the $6 repo she gave me two options ONLY and I went with one. When I got my bill she charged me $18 per shot and over charged me. My bill came out to be $290. They didn t honor their special and when I called up there I was told two different things.. stating there wasn t a special that day by one manager and the other manager said it was my fault for not being specific. I was given 20 reasons why it was my fault. I wouldn t suggest anybody going there because they will try to finesse you. I ve heard that by multiple people and still went, I wish I would have listened to my friends.

I would not have left a review if the owners comment to the last response wasnt such a stretch. There was a fight in the Palms parking lot (as there is most nights) and shots were fired. Unless of course shots were fired by the Walgreens, but the fighting at The Palms was TOTALLY separate as well as the screaming, the police vehicles, and the cops literally looking for the shells in the lot. Even if it was in the alley, where do you think it originated? And even if you werent lying, how do you explain the constant parking lot fights in your venue? I get its a bar and alcohol is involved but why is it always yours? There is a general sentiment among residents here that they would feel safer if this place shut down. Everyone do yourself a favor and search these reviews for the word gunshot and see how many times it has happened here.

I stopped on 8/29 for a networking event that was really a meetup to recruit security and bottle girls, and even though it was definitely not a networking event the members of the big league marketing group, the DJ and the bartender Will were cool and provided a cool vibe. The DJ was playing a good upbeat mix, and Will knows the menu when it comes to food and drinks. Things didnt start to go left until I was ready to leave and tried to walk out the front door, which is the door that I came in. I was instructed to exit to the patio which empties to the exact same area as the front door by a hefty security guard. After I made it through the patio and back to the same exact area that I was in not even ten seconds before, the same hefty security guard told me that entrance and exit was through the patio, I laughed and replied aight, then some other top flight wannabe asked me do you have a problem? I will not be back because the security is entirely too eager to jump on someone. They are either going to cause the owners entirely too much money in court, or try to jump on the wrong person. There are better places to spend your money and time. Overall Im disappointed in this establishment. Oh and the tacos were good, but the wings tasted like they dropped twice in the fryer.

We came to Palms last night and almost walked out because our original server Kelsi was so rude! We sat on the patio and when we said we did not want bottle service but to order food and drinks instead she immediately changed her attitude with us and NEVER even came back to serve us! We were with another couple I ordered 2 of the same meals but for some reason the waitress came back to ask me the type of meat I asked for. She brought out my husband plate and didnt say anything about mines. I waited 15 minutes and she hadnt walked by so I got another waitress attention to ask if she could check on my food she said ok. Following that our waitress comes and says that they had to cook more food thats why mine isnt ready which she shouldve said when she brought the other plate or she shouldve waited and brought them at the same time as most restaurants do. Customer service shouldve been better for a minimum $125 table which automatically adds 15 or 18 percent gratuity. It was alright but not sure we will be back. Parking: The parking lot is small so if youre not there when its busy you might be able to find a spot.

Truly the worst clubbing experience. We bought a section and once arrived told it was given away and they would move us inside if we could purchase one bottle. We were fine with that and waited for the rest of our group to let them know. Once they arrived we were now told we had to order two bottles and one needed to be premium to stay in a section that was already paid for. We said okay and decided to split it amongst the group. The bottle girl proceeded to tell us we had to buy three or we would get kicked out of the section and they would sell it to someone buying more. Pros: Location: Ideal location to include in your bar hopping night. Ambiance : Great vibe with nice patio. Service: Bri the Bartender was awesome and full of enthusiasm. She really made the night- didn t even make it to another bar after discovering Bri the Bartender. Cons: On the smaller side- not ideal for huge groups. PARKING- dont t forget to feed the meter.

Great food and hookah. Customer service never disappoints. Bri is definitely my favorite bartender. She is very kind and attentive the entire night. I will most definitely be coming back and will be asking for her to be my bartender. Everybody else was good as well but she exceeded my customer service expectations.

I came out last night and it was definitely live/vibes. The bartender i think her name was Brie made sure to get our attention and order. If it wasn t for the hookah and the DJ this place would get zero stars from me. Food was cold. Server missed an order at the table and then was told they were not serving seafood anymore. All do respect y all need to take orders on an actual machine and not on a phone. Very unprofessional.

the quality of the food varies. I have a different experience every time and none of them have been great. My food order was incorrect and the waitress got upset with me because she got it wrong. Make it make sense. The music is extremely loud where it is difficult to converse with the person next to you. pricing is a little expensive too

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! This place is a joke. Starting with service and ending with quality. If Abbott was to close down this establishment I wouldn t be surprised. The bartenders are clueless, the hookah servers are slow; and the food is subpar. Skip this place and save both time/money for a better midweek time out in Dallas. Lastly the DJ should stick to his day drop; we are no longer in 2005

I had to talk to the owner to get service outside after one of the waiters walked right pass us. Service was okay after. 20% gratuity automatically added which was a bit much. The hookah girl outside sneezed in her hands and didn t wash them and then handed me a hookah. She also didn t tell me the price till after. $50 dollars is pretty expensive for a hookah and for it to be mediocre and have germs on it after the girl sneezed was unacceptable.
