Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

A total shitshow!!!!!! Ordered food online and it said it would be ready at 1115, didn t get my full order til almost midnight, waited 30 minutes for my food but no drinks, I had to go inside where I was ignored and I noticed the manager was just clearing the orders from their screens without paying any attention, causing chaos! Workers need to get it together and managers need to run their shifts properly without causing issues with orders and wait times, not to mention multiple other people had forgotten items and they had to ask them for said items! Terrible experience!

First time eating whataburger in midland. It was a miss. Alot of miss communication with the night shift due to language barriers but the food. ... My kids chicken strips were old. The fries were under cooked, buns to the burgers were cold, I waited in the drive thru for 33 minutes.. went inside and my order was sent out to the wrong person so I waited another 10 minutes.. wasnt a good experience. For being the 3rd car in the drive thru, I spent 1 hour there. Never again. But if your hungry, you will eat it, right?

I went to Whataburger and placed my order for two sandwiches at 12:09 am. It is currently 12:41 am and we are still all stuck in this line. I called them and theyre saying they had a big order and they did not ask the car at the window to pull around. The way the drive-thru is situated, theres no way to leave the line once youre in it. I feel like Ive been taken hostage. This is insane I just got to the window at 12:43 am. I told them to keep their food. I was in line for 34 minutes. Ill NEVER return The manager looked at me, smiled, then flashed what looked like a gang sign at me with his hands. It may or may not have been, but I was a police officer many years ago and it reminded me of the hand signs different gang members would flash to each other back then. I told them Id never come back to this store and the manager laughed at me. He literally laughed. DISGUSTING behavior. This place would be out of business in any other town that had more late night options. I recorded a video of my interaction at the window and took this screenshot of the manager smiling and flashing me what I presume to be a gang sign with his hands. This business ought to be ashamed of itself. This entire chain should be embarrassed. Addendum: I reported this incident to corporate headquarters. Less than an hour after I made the report, the owner of this location called me and apologized. She said that the employee in the photo was not the manager and that he would be dealt with. She also said shed mail me a gift card for my trouble... She never sent it. Im done with Whataburger. I havent been to any of their locations since this happened and I never will. So the owner knows where she can stick that gift card.

I can t believe how hard it is to just simply read an order and make it nowadays. I say that because I ve worked in fast food myself and never got an order wrong because it s not hard to read an order and make it. I ordered a DoorDash order and they messed up pretty much the entire thing. I ordered a honey butter chicken biscuit with fries and a large drink. I received this egg biscuit thing and hashbrowns and no drink. If you don t have the things to make my order just mark it as unavailable on DoorDash! It is really not that hard! May 22nd 2024 9.pm I have been a loyal customer of Whataburger on Andrews Highway in Midland, TX, visiting every Wednesday. However, my recent experience was absolutely unacceptable and has left me questioning if I will ever return. Milca, an employee at this location, was incredibly disrespectful. She mocked my English and delayed my order for almost 15 minutes because I chose not to order in Spanish. When I asked her to reconsider her actions, she blatantly ignored my request and continued with her unprofessional behavior. I am not asking the owner to remove her from the restaurant, but I strongly suggest not putting her in a front-facing role. Her conduct is damaging to your business, and if this continues, you will start noticing a decline in customers. Respect and efficient service are crucial, and unfortunately, my experience with Milca was far from that.

I hate to be this type of customer , but I did customer service for too long in my career , and I was low key looking to a perfect meal after a long day at work , for me not to take the time. My order was completely wrong and took way too long, employees joking around in the front counter and in the kitchen area, while I was there at least 3 people from drive-thru came in with an incorrect order, other people waited longer than I did for carry out orders , manager seemed to have things out of his control , employees joking around in front of him and with him, nothing against women but mostly females in the crew made it and unpleasant visit due to service. Worst location in Midland. Every single time I order from here, the order is wrong or missing items. Tonight they left out a whole burger. I tried to call the store so they could have it ready by the time I got there, but they couldnt answer the phone. When I arrived at the store and told the manager the issue, she didnt apologize for the mistake, nor did any of the other employees that were at the counter. So, my family got to eat cold food since they waited for me to come back home before eating. It would help to cut down on mistakes of the employees could speak and read English so that the orders they make are correct. I will never go back.

Ordered the Breakfast Burger with grilled jalapeños and subbed out the bun for the jalapeño cheddar biscuit. Food was fine but they were extremely slow. Almost no customers but took them 20 minutes for my food. Be prepared to wait.

If u want whataburger, just go to any other one, first off, fries were mushy and with no salt, i asked for a green chile burger with grilled onions, the gave me a green chile burger with grilled jalapeños on it without any green chile, just jalapeños, it was salty af for no reason, and the drive thru was over 25 min

Ive been noticing a huge decline in Whataburger efficiency and quickness in servicing drive thru and indoors. My usual times to go are late evenings and late late like 1-6 am. Fries arent fresh but burgers are mid to good sometimes. Its slowly becoming a spot I dont frequent when I used to love. They also always seem understaffed. Cant exactly tell why the service has gone down but I have my suspicions

Drive thru always takes forever!! The gave me a burger without a bunch. When I pulled back around they asked me to park in the front in the curbside section. Took over an hour for me to get an old burger. Very rude cs and food quality wasnt even sub par, straight trash. Def wouldnt recommend!

We love the food. But their priorities are quantity over quality. Disappointed. It wasnt like this years ago. They need to work on their customer service, and at least try getting the orders correct. We went on a Thursday, way backed up, waited about 45 minutes for our order, cars parked everywhere waiting for their orders. Then we got the wrong order and had to wait some more.

Used the mobile app with a curbside pickup. Our order consisted of shakes and fries, granted, a rather large order serving 8 people. The app gave us a window of time to expect our order to be ready, given it was greater than $50. The order was delivered to our vehicle 30 minutes beyond that window even after checking in with the staff to ensure our order was received. Staff was not helpful, with no explanation or an apology.
