Upside West Village has a good view of the city, it s relatively quiet and it s always a good place to have some drinks and light food. I got the old fashioned and sliders. The service was quick and friendly. The decor is also very beautiful. You can sit outside to catch a good view or inside to stay away from the elements. Parking: You ll be lucky to find street parking Wheelchair accessibility: The entire building is wheelchair accessible.

The food and atmosphere were amazing (they even have Hugo spritz)! We arrived super early due to it being the 4th of July. When we got there, we were told that it shouldnt be busy. We decided to stay, but as it got busier, our service came to a complete stop. They were completely understaffed. I had to go to the bar to get a drink and ended up waiting 30 minutes. Our experience was great at first, but it came to a halt as the night went on.

If you are finding yourself in the uptown, cityplace area of Dallas needing a spot to relax and have some great bites, and a tasty beverage .then be sure and swing by Upside West Village. A lofty, open vibe with outstanding city views awaits you on the 8th floor rooftop of the Canopy by Hilton property. We had no problem securing a patio seat with perfect skyline views on a Saturday evening. Their plates to share menu is perfect for when you are feeling peckish (I recommend the tandoori chicken bites) . The drinks are tasty and this spot is great for either beginning an evening on the town or ending one.. great access off of US 75 and it s a block away from the DART rail station if you don t want to drive downtown! Absolutely a must try!

We had a great date night here! There is inside and outside patio seating with a beautiful view of the sky line. The food was yummy and the drinks were reasonable priced. Our waiter/staff were very friendly. Highly recommend closer to sunset/nighttime. We went around 5:30 and we got roasted. So dress accordingly. Happy eating! Food

Stopped in to wait for traffic to die down (rush hour!) Found myself in Upside West Village to grab a drink, specifically - an espresso martini. Incredible, calm atmosphere but what made the entire experience was James! James crafted the BEST espresso martini, I have ever tasted and is incredibly kind. If you need a break and are in the area. The server said that someone would come to us when we went to inquire and yet after 10 mins, there was no one. Great views, especially after dark, of downtown Dallas Skyline. The food was good if not great but you are here for the views. The food was not over priced which surprised me. My daughter took me to the Upside West Village rooftop bar to see the sunset. This was one of the better rooftop bars with the view of downtown skyline. The view is beautiful, the service is terrible. I went to the bar on Sunday night. Nobody paid attention to me. The bartender was busy talking to the other people. This talking wasnt about some orders, they were just talking about everything and nothing. I wanted to have a seat outside on the terrace but all tables were dirty. I asked for a cleaning, was waiting for it about 10 min but nobody came. I asked a second time and then they finally did it and took my order. I ordered icecream sandwich and a glass of wine. I was waiting for my order 20 min but didnt get it. How long it takes to pour a glass of wine and get icecream sandwich from refrigerator? So I just left

Was set to have my first baby shower here with friends and family flying in town on Labor Day weekend. I had everything confirmed with a contract and had my food and beverage menu selected. Was contacted 4 days before my event and told the AC was not properly working and they would need to move my group. They don t have any additional space so we re just going to dump me in the hotel lobby which is completely different vibe than Upside it s a darkroom with no view and a check in desk. They knew about this a week before my event and didn t inform me until it was too late for me to even have a back up plan. Not one call from management, no offer to help secure another venue or offer to take the catering I paid for offsite. The entire situation was handled very unprofessionally and with complete disregard to the customer on the other side of their decision. As a first time mom trying to co host something special for my friends and family to be thrown into that stressful with 4 days to figure it out on a holiday weekend cause so much unbelievable stress. I even gave them a chance to contact me to make it right and still have not even received a call or email from that team.

Michael McAdams and his team at the Upside West Village Lounge at the Canopy Hilton Dallas are amazing!! We had another nearby hotel rooftop lounge cancel on us last minute. It was really important that I find another lounge with a similar vibe for my sisters Bacherlotte party. The host Grace and manager Michael worked together to ensure they could accommodate our party. The entire experience there was amazing and every staff and server was kind, attentive and professional to ensure my sister had a great time! I would give zero stars if possible, had reservations a month in advanced on OpenTable (May 8th 2021), when the date finally comes up and we arrive they turn us away because a private event was booked. They told me they tried to contact me all week and they sent me messages on OpenTable and email, nothing but lies didnt receive a single message or voicemail. Its located on the 8th floor of the Canopy by Hilton Dallas Uptown hotel in the West Village. Its not a big store, but its not too noisy and not too quiet, just right. You can clearly hear conversations with friends. You can see the downtown skyscrapers clearly from the rooftop. It was also nice to see the planes landing at Dallas Love Field Airport. There are no signboards or other advertisements, so I think only people who know the store can find it. There was quite a lot of empty parking on the street nearby.

This is an incredibly relaxed but still date-worthy roof top bar with a great view of the Dallas skyline. There are skilled bartenders making nicely poured cocktails and, due to its connection to a hotel, a diverse range of patrons. Went there last night as an impromptu family visit. Very clean, easy to social distance and enjoy the outdoors without freezing! The staff were super accommodating to my mom s dog (bringing them a water dish), and moving us to warmer tables as they became available. The food and drinks were amazing to boot. Ive gone here a few times now on different occasions. The space is very welcoming and open and the views of downtown are some of the best in the city. Its low-key, and has never been too busy any of the times I have visited. My friends and I have always found a space to sit down and enjoy ourselves. The service, however, leaves much to be desired. Most of the waitstaff are unenthusiastic and inattentive and the cocktail prices are too high for the level of service being offered here, especially considering the amount of patrons. Could be a 5 star place with a few improvements.

The staff really needs to step up their game. You can t serve $15 cocktails and have a joke of a waitstaff/ bartenders. I was discriminated against for having my service dog with me while trying to sit on the patio. The male bartender embarrassed me in front of everyone. This is illegal so I suggest teaching your staff the rules on service animals. This isn t the first time that I have been here. The first time they had nasty attitudes as well. It s unfortunate because I like this area and was planning on coming back and bringing friends but I will be going somewhere else next time!

The most delightful evening. Incredibly views, amazing service ,(thanks Liz), wine flights and even throw blankets when the temps are cold! For once Im asking for more business travel so I can come back!!!

Upside is a bit small of an area without much ambiance, but the view can be great... A bit pricey, but somebody has to pay the rent....

Great wine, great food, great view (of the Dallas skyline). Great atmosphere too. Airy space with large TVs and a big patio on the 8th floor of the Canopy hotel, with direct access from the lobby.
