Loud, full atmosphere. In addition, we received absolutely no service. The manager seemed oblivious. Our dessert came out first, and our entrees actually never arrived since our server didn t put them in. The cake was so dry that I wouldn t even embarrass sam s club by saying it was from there, and the raspberry coulis was more for decoration than flavor.. 2 drinks and the cake alone was $45. Ridiculous. This is why nice restaurants and bars sold as an upscale experience fail in corpus. Won t be returning

Beautiful quaint speak easy located upstairs but you enter into a Corpus Christi gift shop to access the staircase. We had great drinks and snacks that were very great and affordable. Tayce is clearly the best person to give you all the information you need about The Mariners menu items. Parking: Short walk, near by

This place is a must! The atmosphere wait-staff is not pushy and very helpful. The food is beyond amazing. Highly suggest the lamb sliders with truffle fries.

The Mariner is a hidden treasure, a getaway from the commercial restaurants. Our waitress, Tacey (sorry if I killed your name), is very knowledgeable with the entrees and drink selection. We tried Sashimi Akami, Sashimi Toro, Blue Crab Fritters, Braised Short Ribs, Curry Shrimp, Lamb Lollipops, Chocolate Cake, and Mariner s Bread Pudding. We had the Monkey Business and the Salmiana Curse. All was top notch, the plating is beautiful and each item was very tasty. We will be back!! Thank you for a great experience!

Great upscale spot! Would like regular seating instead of bar height dinning chairs . Good food . Not wheelchair accessible and very narrow upstairs walkway .

Pretty good place to get tapas right on the edge of the water. Well decorated place with a nice atmosphere. I had the Jamaican Yellow Coconut Curry Shrimp. Not quite as spicy as I thought it would be with habanero in it, but the peppers, plantains, habanero, rainbow carrots, and eskovitch meshed well together and created an interesting flavor.

This is one of those situations where you really question whether you should review a place because you dont want to alert the world to its existence. Everything from food to quality of service is really good, and interestingly not static. I have watched the menu evolve and change over time. Its a classy place, which is not the norm for the area. An excellent opportunity to dress up, turn out, feel fantastic and experience great service.

Really good food! We had curry shrimp, crab cakes, and snapper dip. Shrimp and crab cakes were amazing and the dip was good but didn t amaze me. Vibes were great and was a fun environment to be in. It moves a little bit because it is floating which shocked me at first, but after I realized what it was it kinda added to the experience.

Staff was excellently knowledgeable and skilled with cocktails and food, also friendly and laid back. The drinks were most definitely the best in town. The atmosphere is uniquely nautical. It felt like a true old world Captains Cabin. Great view as well day or night with outdoor dining deck.

We had drinks and dessert. It was fantastic--from the atmosphere to the drinks and the dessert. They have freshly muddled cocktails (several of which can be made non-alcoholic) made by quality mixologists. I had a cucumber mocktail and a watermelon margarita mocktail (both fantastic). My party had a watermelon cocktail and a cold brew martini. Then we had dessert and they were both delicious! The flourless chocolate cake was very good and topped with fresh berries. However, to me, the star of the show was the Cinnamon Bread Pudding w/ apple pie ice cream --WOW! Genius combination. We will be back for more.

Best fine dining in corpus right now. Very attentive and friendly servers. They made a custom craft mocktail that was . The food is well plated and top notch. The lamb sliders with the scratch made buns are hands down one of the best things I ve had in my life . The bread pudding with apple pie ice cream is amazing. If there were more places like the Mariner in Corpus Christi , we d be moving in the right direction.

The short summary is a big wow. The drinks are fantastic. The ambience on the patio (specifically the north patio) is outstanding. My wife and I were the only two out there and were able to soak in the views and enjoy each others company. It was the perfect blend of romance and intimacy that you want from a date night. All of the staff were so friendly and kind, too. It is the kind of service that you really want from a restaurant. We only had one food item and that was a dessert. The pastry chef himself brought it out to us and MAN, that chef is going to be flying high soon. I ve thought about it and truly think that was the best dessert I have come across. We can t wait to go back. To all the staff there that might be reading this a big thank you. And to any potential customers go!

Wow! Wow! Wow! It s a MUST SEE!!!! (I ll write more later) . Now its later. This has to be one of the best hidden gems in CC, TX I adored the decor. The craft cocktails were exquisite. The staff were so inviting. The owner (you) cracked me up... when I was trying to photo my cocktail & you thought I was rejecting it & took a straw to try it that was truly memorable I cant wait to go back. . I highly recommend this venue for a girls night out or a date night . . . The view of the CC skyline is breathtaking.

Table of 6, Cocktails were great but it took a very long time to get served both drinks and food. Server was friendly and knowledgeable of menu. Oysters Mariner was really tasty but our lamb skewers(2 plates)were dry and had ZERO flavor. Shrimp(2 plates) were way over cooked, would not peel and very rubbery. The place was a pretty hip joint(though very loud)and with some quality control put in place before food is run I think could be successful.

This is a great little hidden gem above the gift shop. They have exceptional cocktails and I strongly suggest getting their take on Oyster Rockefeller. The atmosphere and charming service makes this one of the best date night options in Corpus Christi.

This place is so cool located in the Harrison Landing gift shop on the second floor! This is definitely a date night place we just happened to be there and the was storm passing through and it made it just that much better! The staff are really friendly and always check up on you. Drinks are on point and we had some oysters that were really amazing. The food that was coming out looked amazing so we are going to have definitely try that. If you are in the downtown area look this place up and believe me you will have a great time and great company!
