Great place to come to the beach, there is a parking lot nearby if you want but if you have a permit you can drive and park on the beach. There is so much space to set up and bathroom are close by and showers to wash the sand off. The birds are always watching for dropped food. There is also garbage bins nearby if needed. This will probably continue to be our go to spot when we visit.

Restrooms available. Plenty of parking. Lifeguard station was manned. Id arrive early, probably by 10:00 if you want a decent spot. These pics were taken about noon on Saturday, July 27.

The sand is fine, but it is extremely unpleasant to have lumps of crude oil, traces of an oil tanker oil spill, on the soles of your feet. Why isnt that mentioned in other reviews? The water was clean and the sand was nice and fine. Oil residue gets on my swimsuit and doesnt come off even after washing. I have to throw it away.

Been going here for four years. First time I had to deal with so many tar balls all over the place. Ruined a few hundred dollars of clothes and boogie boards. Sucks as this is one of the better beaches on this part of the coast.

Our absolute favorite beach. We are staying 30 feet from the corpus christi beachfront, and we have been driving all the way to Ellis Beach due to how perfect it is. The sand is soft and doesnt have gritty texture. You can walk without shoes and your feet will feel great. The water is clear of debri, and although we saw many large jelly fish at corpus Beach, there are none at all here. 100% recommend

Has decent restrooms, free parking, beach chairs for rental. $65 plus taxes and fees all day. We did the half day $45 in total was $58... from 361 Blue beach concierge. The water was pretty blue and relaxing our family enjoyed our time there!

First beach visit this year and had a good time. It was pretty windy but the water definitely looked better than Galveston water, lol. There is a parking lot and seems to be public parking (free) and there are restrooms and showers, too.

We found this beach just by driving around. Lots of parking, restrooms, and outdoor shower/rinse area. The beach has great space, smooth sand, and the water was pretty clean. There was no lifeguards, as well as no shade. It wasnt crowded either, well not during the weekday we went on. Beach is great for all ages, but be sure to pack some shade (umbrella, tent, etc) and chairs. We didnt notice any seating areas. It looks like you can drive your car onto the sand, but from a separate beach entrance. So thats another option too. Every part of this beach park was pretty well kept up. Didnt see litter! Showers and restrooms were clean as well! Parking lot has lots of spaces and kept clean too! Several trash cans available to keep trash off this beautiful place. So happy to see such clean places here! Great job to those who monitor the beaches and the locals / those who have pride in keeping it clean! Also, nice area to play in side, fly kites and play in the water

The perfect beach for us! Clean restrooms & outside showers to wash off, not to forget a fantastic beach. Park free in the lot and walk down the ramp. Cars that park on the beach must have permit.
