Playground: Good playground with upgraded soft flooring instead of wood chips or gravel, swings tall slides decent playground overall Toilets: Enclosed restrooms on site Dog-friendliness: Plenty of field with concrete walkways for dogs to play without interfering with kids on the playground Picnic area: Large covered area with picnic tables w/benches suitable for small gatherings/events or just relax in the shade while the kiddos play

I attended Bluegrass on Ballard at this park. They have that concert once yearly along with the classic car show. They usually have about five different groups to entertain. In the photo Im sharing, Darren and Brooke Aldridge are on stage which was after 5:30 PM. Performances begin at 1:00 PM. The second picture shows Corn Maze, an inflatable attraction at the 2024 event.

The place is nice. You will see a lot of parked yachts and little boats in the bay. There is a little beach to get wet and stay there, rent jet skis, etc. They charge $3 per vehicle and $3 for each person inside the vehicle. As if you could go without a vehicle; or maybe your vehicle wants to go alone. Who knows

I attended Wylies Fifth Annual Juneteenth Festival and had a blast! This is one of many events held at the park during the year. Theres nothing better than people coming together for a family-friendly good time in the heart of Wylie! This celebration is proof that were alike in more ways than were different. Theres ample space for vendors, covered seating area with tables, a playground for the kids, and quaint shops within walking distance on Ballard Street. Even without a scheduled event happening, its a cool spot to hang out with friends or solo.

This park, focused on a large play area with very springy base (safer for the inevitable falls) for toddlers through pre-teens, has a covered eating area for families as well as benches. It is very well maintained, and has a wide variety of climbing, sliding, hanging, balancing and swinging options for kids. A few more benches around the play area for grandparents who cant stand for long would be nice, but isnt a reason not to go! Playground: Low, medium and tall form slides, all designed for a slowing stop at the end. Narrow and broad balance beams, standard and toddler seat swing sets, large climbing platform with normal stairs and a variety of climbing ladders to reach various levels, and more. Picnic area: Roofed open area with multiple benches to handle close to 50 people. Plenty of grassy areas.

I saw just about the entire park of kids playing tag together. What an amazing thing watching all the kids play, no fighting, no hate, nothing. Just kids playing. Maybe there is hope for our future.

This is a fun park. We go to a lot of parks. The parking here is sparse, but if you can park the playground is fun. We see people using the picnic tables for parties all the time. Its also right by all the shops downtown, so you can walk around and shop. or get a coffee at shoemaker. Overall, this is a great playground. Playground: A side for littles and a side for the older kids. Picnic tables and benches around the playground. Swings, slides, and places to climb. Toilets: Ive never been in them, but they do have them.

Love this park, it has a toddler playground, a playground for 3-5 year olds and a bigger playground for bigger kiddos and plenty of tables to sit at for picnics, with plenty of benches as well to enjoy a day at the park and a gazebo. The best part is being able to walk into downtown Wylie from the park and enjoy all the scenery. My family and I love Wylie

Cool park thats close enough to both drop by for 15-20 min after daycare pickup and enjoy a weekend w/o burning 1/2 tank of gas. Kids love it, shade for us parents and I can bring my RC car to multitask. Win win

Beautiful, clean environment and family friendly with tables and public bathrooms available. Playground: Enough to entertain young children ages toddler to 12years with respect to a small trail thats available for skating and small bike usage. One of the best family parks there is in this city. I grab the kids, and my Bluetooth. The diversity music I select always draws the people over. Great way to get the kids to have a jolly old time. Playground: Lots of options to select from, great for smaller children. Toilets: Clean, and always open Dog-friendliness: They have doggy bags so you can pick up after your dog. Picnic area: Lots of space for many people to be there.

This park has a fun play structure and the ground cover is handicap friendly and comfy to walk/ fall on. I wish the fence went all the way around the park though. Basic bathrooms are available for part of the year. I guess people don t need to go the bathroom in the winter lol.

Slides - straight and spiral, swings, structures to stretch childrens imagination. To bring their thoughts into action! We (grandparents) visited this Park on eve of a weekend taking our three years old grandson (and with his parents too). End of August, so the afternoon sun at 5 pm was still strong to enjoy. But the little boy enjoyed! By 6 pm it became quite enjoyable with sun going behind the clouds and air getting breezy. Overall, enjoyable. Can spend some two hours. By the way, very close, there are some good shops offering eats. So, worth a visit and explore these shops as well!

Just a park. Nothing special. We had fun on the swings though. Hey, adults like playing too, right? . There was a bit of litter here and there, and the flowers needed more watering. This little park is great, nice pavilion for hanging out in and space for throwing a frisbee or just hanging out. Its proximity to the downtown square makes it especially nice. Lots of families here when school is out.

very nice, large park. lots of structures for kids to play on. has a covered pavilion with picnic benches. also a big field to throw frisbee, football, or kick a soccer ball around. has its own parking lot and also street parking nearby. You can also walk around downtown Wylie from here, so its a great spot for a park. Lots of events happen here year around.
