Wow!!! I got the breakfast bowl and added smoked salmon and avocado. Im trying to eat healthy with lots of protein and this was the perfect place. Lots of veggies and they do not spare any expense on giving you plenty of protein. The coffee was incredible and the service was great. Environment was clean and beautiful. This is a hidden gem for folks wanting a healthier homemade option.

This is one of my favorite local brunch restaurants that I frequent several times per month. The food honestly is superb and a cut above typical brunch fare. Not only does it taste great, I personally appreciate the appearance of everything Ive ordered there. The menu is not as extensive as most cafes and restaurants, but no matter to me as I always find something different to occasionally try when Im not ordering my favorite in the photo. (Its their Traditional Breakfast). The dining area is very pleasant and laid back as well as its really a nice setting here in the Piney Woods of Conroe. Its a relaxing place that never feels rushed. Prices are a little higher than other places, but you get what you pay for and to me its always worth it and Ill continue to be a regular customer. Parking: Parking is very close and easy.

This place is amazing - Not sure what the prior negative review was about but I ve never had poor service here. I typically get served by one of two individuals and both are the sweetest people. The kolaches are actually my favorite go to item - the chorizo is full of flavor and the perfect size. The price for freshly made food is pretty spot on compared to other places. I got a specialty golden milk latte (delicious) and 2 kolaches and my order was $16.

Ordered two coffees one iced with the recommended dairy free option the barista suggested and another iced coffee with two muffins (not heated) and To-Go. Easily took 20 minutes to make two coffees. The second worker who clocked in was more focused on playing Taylor swifts new album on her phone than making the beverages or packaging the muffins. When our drinks were ready they delivered them to us and when asked which was which she said well one is iced one is hot and was very rude. Well both of our drinks were supposed to be iced so I think it s a fair question to ask. We decided to just keep the hot coffee since it was a long wait already and they delivered the muffins shortly after. Muffins were very dry and stale. I don t recommend any of the food items and the coffee is decent but the wait time is outrageous just for them to be made incorrectly.

The shop is really cute, but service was not great. I was the only customer there, and I looked at the menu and realized all the sandwiches were $17, but I still wanted to support a local cafe, so I offered a kolache for like $4. The cashier was the only worker, and it took her about 15 minutes to bring my kolache to my table. Why?? The kolache was already cooked she just had to throw it in the microwave! I don t understand. On top of the wait time, the kolache I received was burnt on top. The kolache didn t have a good flavor either. The dough was not salted enough and tasted like nothing. It was also more of a biscuit texture than a kolache texture. I don t think I will return. With prices like that y all need to do better. There s no reason to have such bad service when there is nobody else in the store and the customer ordered a precooked item that shouldn t take more than 2 minutes to warm up I always try to support local places but this was not it.

Food is good but very overpriced for what you get. The place is cute too.. Its kind of embarrassing how bad the service is. First time in, they brought me someone elses order, then my own all before my LATTE that was not even hot? There wasnt even a full room of customers. Then it started to get busy and none of the tables were being cleared off so everyone started piling their dishes on one table so other people could sit. Like, do yall need help or something? Go to The Wheel Kitchen in Tomball instead. 5 stars all the way. The drive is 110% worth it and you will not be disappointed.

My friend and I came here after a recommendation and seeing they had such great reviews. Sadly we were left disappointed. It took a long time to get our food, which is not a problem as long as the correct order is brought and the food is good, I ended up waiting 40 minutes for a sandwich because the first item I was brought was not what I had ordered. My friend had the butternut squash duo, and while the sandwich was okay it was sweeter than it needed to be. We both though the butternut squash soup was far too sweet and tasted heavily of cinnamon. Not our cup of tea. The Mediterranean chicken sandwich I ordered was actually really good but the roasted potatoes it was served with were lacking in some much needed salt. We had read about the coffee and baked goods being so good we decided to go ahead and give the benefit of the doubt and try some as well. Much to our disappointment the muffins, we tried 6 different ones; were severely lacking in flavor. Our blueberry muffin only had 4 blueberries in it!!!!! Surprisingly their gluten-free blueberry muffin ended up being the most flavorful and moist of them all. The coffee was just ok, we both had the salted caramel latte. Im giving 3 stars because the chicken sandwich really was good and maybe they have some other good things on the menu worth trying but I dont think we would venture back.

I had high hopes. Super grateful to have a coffee shop not corporate, I really wanted to support local. However: I was told the soup was vegetarian - it was not, I remained sick all day from two bites and had to throw the rest away. Was told I could have an accompanying croissant without meat, when it came out it was layered with meat and bacon, juices in bread with a sorry it is not what I said it was. $15 for a sick stomach and for wasting food. PLEASE GET YOUR COMMUNICATION in line between front and back of house. Someone could seriously get hurt with food allergies or whatever else. I dont have much money and was grateful for something nourishing, instead I got sick and more broke. I will not be back.

If you dont like paying for quality food, I suggest going to McDs. The prices are higher here, but well worth it. My wife had the oatmeal. It had a strong coconut flavor, and she thought it was very sweet. I didnt notice that. I had the Traditional Breakfast. The bacon was very crispy, like it should be. Ive never had baked eggs before, but they were very good. The croissant was exceptional, very light. Overall, the food was very well prepared. The atmosphere is somewhat industrial, as is popular today. Service was efficient and friendly. Our most negative comment would be that the house coffee was more bitter than we expected. Well be back!

Wheelhouse Cafe NW Conroe, Longmire Rd Boho chic decor coffee house & Farm to table eatery. Nice and comfortable on the inside. A drink, juice, milk & coffee menu with breakfast and lunch food options. I had the brioche pulled pork sandwich. The bun was fresh and soft the meat was tender and juicy. The menu stated it was braised pork but the flavors didnt really come through for me. I picked up on thyme & rosemary instead of the chimichurri(Iirc) braised description. The menu also indicated sweet potatoes as a side but they were serving red potatoes instead, not a big deal to me just a note and likely an availability issue when doing Farm to table. I had the Matcha milk, coconut, butter & honey drink which was well made. The cafe needs some acoustic treatments. With solid smooth walls and a concrete floor the noise carries and anytime a chair is moved its a noisy occurrence. Some felt pads on the chair legs and acoustic treatments on the walls or a rug would do wonders for this cafe. The muffins were good and moist, not overly sweet and are definitely eye treats as well. Overall: I wasnt blown away by the food but I will try them again after theyve been open a bit longer and Ill probably stop in for some coffee soon.
