Whoever answered the phone for me just now was very rude and hung up on me mid sentence. I do not think this reflects on the whole firm but I hope someone in charge sees this review. 10:30 am on Tuesday

Stewart Forbes was appointed temporary DEPENDENT administrator to the estate of my mother s late husband. It is my understanding that he MUST have a judges approval on any decisions made. He has been extremely unbiased while handling this estate. Any time my mother had questions and she would reach out to Stewart she was immediately referred to her attorney Susan Forbes. Stewart went out of his way for the animals on my stepfathers estate when there was no alfalfa available and sent someone to feed the animals with his OWN alfalfa. He is fair and does everything by the book. He definitely went out of his way to help the animals in need of food and has shown extreme professionalism in everything he has handled thus far.

My late wife paid a retainer fee of $2000 she then passed and I was brushed off with some lame response about not being able to do anything for me. Basically took my money and told me to kick rocks. Worst probate attorney in the county. Just wants your money and to do nothing. Wish I could leave a negative star review.

Wonderful group of people within this business. We dealt directly with Mr. Forbes; there are not enough good works in the dictionary to describe this wonderful man. BTW our legal situation was taken care of right away with a great deal of professionalism. Mother and I had some legal work that Mr. Forbes took care of in a courteous and professional manner. I can describe Mr. Forbes as an extremely capable, humble, charismatic, and nice human being.

I hired Stuart Forbes to handle a case for me, he did an excellent job during my deposition, and mediation. He took good care of me, explained everything step-by-step guided me in the direction I needed to go also help me with the decision I needed to make. I would highly recommend Stuart, Forbes, of Forbes, and Forbes Attorney At Law for any case that you have or that you need to handle. He gets the job done. His staff is great. Now that I received a response, I would like to emphasize that while they referred me to another attorney, the referral was directed to an office that does not handle matters related to my concerns. Unlike to this law firm, the recommended office demonstrated transparency and expertise in outlining the services they offer. My primary grievance pertains to the lack of professionalism and knowledge from a law firm of this reputed stature. As previously mentioned, I strongly advise everyone to steer clear of this law firm. -Seeking legal assistance in El Paso has been an incredibly challenging experience. Despite a scheduled appointment with Forbes and Forbes Attorneys at Law for over three weeks, the firm canceled just two hours before, revealing they dont handle solar panel cases, information they were aware of from the beginning. I m so distraught at the level of treatment and care that this law office has given me. If anyone is looking for any reputable law firm I highly recommend that you stay far away from from this firm.

My son recently passed and my ex-husband first agreed on funeral arrangements but then blindsided me and changed his mind the day of the funeral. I spent the next month fighting on my own and trying to find an attorney. I finally found Forbes and Forbes who said they would assist me. I spent 1,500.00 for them to not provide any assistance and act like it was an inconvenience to respond to me. My ex-husband conceded without the law office assistance and so I spent all that money for them to demand that I do everything on my own and provide them with the paperwork. I felt like it was a waste of money nor did they assist me in a timely manner in the most difficult time of my life. I would not recommend them as a law firm.

I called in today 7/29 in regards to setting up an appointment to see about my mothers living trust as well as assisting her with the process. I understand due to covid some businesses are still over the phone but my review stems from older fashioned customers such as my mother who prefer in person face to face, to go over very sensitive matters. I choose this place based upon the firm and what Ive heard. Upset that you would have to have that sensitive conversation over the phone.

Even though I had not ended up getting services from Susans office, the consult I had with her was amazing. She is very kind , knowledgeable, and was very informative. Gave me some advice and pointed me in the right direction so I could handle my fathers estate and probate more efficent.That deed alone left me satisfied that she cared and wanted to help which is rare to find these days without a cost. I had been a client of Susan Forbes for over a year. I had a simple question that needed to be answered reference a special warranty deed. I contacted her office at least 7 time by telephone and once by email. Leaving messages for via her ataff. Started calling on October 29th. No response no call back. Unprofessional. I would not recommend her and will never do business with her or her law office.

When they say death brings out the worst in people I never believed it till now .Having to deal with the loss of my father and all that goes with it. Susan Forbes was and is a very amazing person and probate attorney. She represents me, the independent executor of my fathers estate. She doesnt represent the estate itself but me personally as the independent executor. Susan Forbes in no way closed the estate nor did she cancel compliance court. Only the court can cancel compliance court once all legal documents are submitted to the court by their due date. we have met all court required deadlines. She has been in communication through the entire legal process. She has been slandered repeatedly by my sister via email and now through this review. The judge told my sister, Allene Helmick, when she was at the court hearing, that Susan Forbes does not represent her and that she was more than welcome to hire an attorney for herself. Allene was notified by myself when court was which is why she was at the original court date. Which has been the only court hearing to date. Susan Forbes is exactly the type of lawyer any client would be pleased to represent them in court. She takes the burden of family drama and continues to be classy and professional. Thank you Susan Forbes it has been a pleasure doing business with you.

I have had a horrible experience with Susan Forbes whom represents the Estate of my father ; however she has only represented my brother heir of the estate. Susan Forbes has not done her due diligence in compliing with the court to fully disclose or disclose to me what is going on with the estate and how everything is being separated. Susan Forbes went behind my back before the compliance hearing and had the case closed out with the probate court. Susan Forbes neither contacted me about the cancellation and nor did she allow me to stand before the judge to agree or disagree with the handling of the estate. The would have found out the executor was not in compliance and not fit to be the executor to the theft he committed with taking my silver set which had been gifted to me by my mother in 2004. I had documents to show the judge concerning another item my brother was trying to place in the estate which I did not get to hand to the judge nor my son to verify the notarized statements were the truth. For Susan Forbes is suppose to be the attorney of my fathers estate., not the attorney of my brother concerning the estate. Full disclosure should have been made to me concerning the estate. I give Susan Forbes a negative 10 , dishonest, unprofessional and non-compliant in the handling of my fathers affairs. Susan Forbes has treated me with disrespect. I would not recommend her at all.

All I can say is, your money will be well spent if you hire this law firm to represent you. Mr. and Mrs. Forbes are excellent representations of what attorneys should be and I couldnt praise them enough for all their hard work.
