Came in with a pre-existing reservation and the hostesses looked confused and overwhelmed to accommodate my date and I. Food is bland and overpriced. The spicy rigatoni was hard and undercooked. The scallops had no flavour. The lobster was definitely fresh from Maine. They spend more time on presentation of the food versus the actual taste. Meduza Mediterranea in NYC (which is very similar) would best them in both taste, presentation, and ambiance. The best was the lobster BLT sliders. Waitress forgot what our dietary restrictions were, right after asking us.

I cannot say enough about this place! My new favorite restaurant in Austin!! The service by Lindsie was impeccable. She was on top of every detail, gave fabulous recommendations, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our experience and this place is more than food, it is truly an experience! From the drink presentation, (can be a mocktail or cocktail) to catering to a gluten free diet, not one detail was missed. We cannot wait to go back! Dietary restrictions: There are many gluten free options on the menu and some that they don t have indicated, but can change to gluten free without losing the experience. Also, non alcoholic drinks are served as well!

I LOVED this restaurant. I came with a few of my girlfriends and we had a family-style dinner where we shared our starters and entrees and it was all so DELICIOUS! Kevin was our waiter and he was amazing and very accommodating to my diet. I would love to come back!! Vegetarian options: I was able to have the pancetta taken out of the vodka pasta :)

This place is such a cool find. The atmosphere is that of social club. They have a live dj every night. Their drinks are based on Alice in wonderland and have beautiful table displays. I wouldn t recommend the chicken as we thought the breading to chicken ratio was a little low but we loved the truffle fries, steak, kale salad and rigatoni! We got the faux cheesy for dessert which was super cute! Definitely a fun place to go with friends before a night out, birthday or even a fun date!

Wow! What an experience this dinner was. Lindsie, our waitress, was incredible from start to finish. She was attentive, had excellent recommendations on the cocktail program, and was overall a joy to have serving us. Now onto the food, although food isnt a fitting term for the entertaining and immersive experience that was our meal. Every bite was a different combination of exciting and perfectly paired flavor and the execution on each dish exceeded our expectations. Overall I highly recommend this establishment, and everything they curate.

This is a very cool place, although it is hard to hear each other at your table because it s very loud The food is artistic and very full of love The atmosphere is cool and beautiful and looks like Park Avenue But the service is unbelievably great from the reception team , and bartender. I ve been here twice now and both times were excellent! The vibes inside are fantastic. Would be perfect for a Friday night with the girls or a date night. The theatrical drinks are super fun. I recommend sharing with whoever you re with because there s so much good stuff to try! -bleu cheese steak I am an avid bleu cheese hater and I tried some of this and was shocked at how delicious this was. 8.5/10 -steak tartare sooo good, truffle flavor amazing 9/10 -hamachi crudo probably best crudo I ve ever had, 11/10 -spicy rigatoni really tasty, but as a pasta connoisseur I ve had better. 7/10 -kale Caesar delicious, well dressed and lots of cheese! 8.5/10 -truffle fries solid fries, big portion, but they need to give you a truffle aioli or something 7/10 -crispy chicken if you re in the mood for a really good chicken cutlet, this is for you. Nothing mind blowing flavor wise in my opinion. 8/10 -scallops cooked perfectly, the puree they give you with it is fabulous 9/10 -the free bread they give you is so good, 20/10 -faux cheese board desert 9/10, super cute and creative, key lime pie was so good

Perfection, start to finish! Our food was fresh, delicious and beautifully served. Sarah, our waitress, was attentive and always seemed to arrive just as we needed a refill or had a question. She s was absolutely delightful! The atmosphere is sublime. It s gorgeous - chandeliers, comfortable couch seating; no detail has been overlooked. We didn t even notice until we left that the music had been served up by a DJ with his own carved out space in the restaurant. So cool! This was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Me and my girlfriend stopped in Sunday and tried the guest house for the first time after seeing the videos on tik tok and insta and wow it did not disappoint. Our waiter Tony was so knowledgeable and fun he really helped set the mood for us. We started with the Tea Party that was so much fun it came in a little decorative tea pot with dry ice and some little pastries that were so cute and fun. My partner and I celebrated our 5-year anniversary at The Guest House, and it couldn t have been more perfect. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone for a special evening. The real standout of the night, though, was our waitress, Natalie. She made our experience truly memorable. Natalie gave us excellent recommendations, and we ended up picking everything she suggested. Every dish was spot-on! She was polite, attentive, and managed to check on us just the right amount never too much, but always when we needed something. Her professionalism and warmth added so much to our night. We couldnt have asked for a better experience, from the food to the service. Highly recommend The Guest House, and if youre lucky enough to have Natalie as your server, youre in for a great time! Atmosphere is a vibeeee. Love then mood lighting and the DJ keeping things light and fun. Recommend steak tartare and the spicy rigatoni ! Amanda was our sever and she was phenomenal, she knew the wine list and menu well. I really appreciated the fresh plates and silverware as dishes changed. I ll go back! But only if I sit in her section!

I tried Guest House for a girls night out and it was the perfect choice! The atmosphere set a really nice vibe for us to feel like we were celebrating a special night. We got almost everything on the menus and they were all good. My favorite dishes were the rigatoni and the steak (cooked perfectly). I almost for to mention my service! Happy was great and always made sure we had what we needed. If you re celebrating or just looking to try out something new, definitely try The Guest House.

Lindsie was phenomenal she was so kind and welcomed my curiosity on some of the ins and outs of the establishment (dw, no secrets were shared ) I loved her cushioned doc martins!! She was a great server, answered all our questions and seemed like she genuinely loved her role at Guest House The food was exquisite, truly. I had the carribean snapper special and loved every bit of it! We had such a great experience at The Guest House. My fiance and I went to celebrate our engagement from 8/28 and for his birthday. Our server, Amanda, was extremely kind and knowledgeable. She told us what the specials were for the night without skipping a beat and all from memory, and there was a lot to say about the specials lol. The manager, Adam, stopped by a few times to see how everything was and even dropped off some of our dishes and drinks. His energy was so welcoming. Both if them really made our experience that much better. Now, the food and drinks. O-M-G!! Everything was delicous. The theatrical drinks are so cool. All eyes were on any of them being brought to the table. We had the Tulgey Wood drink. Beautiful presentation. For starters we had their melon salad (which was one of the specials) and the lobster blt sliders. Would definitely have them again. We also had the wagyu pastrami and let me just say, if i could have made love to that dish i would have. The meat literally melted in your mouth. For entrees we had the french onion burger with truffle fries, delish. For dessert we had the 100 layer cake and the smores campfire dessert. Both were so delicious, but by the time we got to them, we were stuffed. 10/10 100% recommend. We will definitely be back. Thanks for such a wonderful experience and such a great place to celebrate special occasions.

After hearing about this restaurant on social media, I was excited to try it. The bread, which I was most intrigued about, tasted like a perfect flakey croissant. Our table order the Tulgey Woods theatrical, a seasonal margarita served at the foot of a cotton candy tree with fog. I appreciated the option of making my margarita a mocktail. This was a fun experience for the table, and the drink was delicious. I enjoyed the Seared Faroe Island Salmon. The 100 Layer Cake was a great way to end off our girls night.

Our server Sarah Lucia was nothing short of amazing, with impeccable attention to detail and recommendations. She was down to earth and so sweet and even brought us some complimentary champagne when I mentioned me and my partner were celebrating our anniversary. The food was an absolute 10/10! The crudo was fresh and vibrant, and I would say hands down the best crudo in Austin. The spicy rigatoni was a flavor explosion, perfectly balanced and delightfully satisfying. To top it off, the mesmerizing drink we had called the Tulgey woods was a true masterpiece and beautiful in every aspect. I definitely recommend getting at least one of there theatrical drinks off the menu for the full experience. All and all the Guest House is a must-visit for an unforgettable dining experience from the servers to managements attention to detail and service we cant wait to come back soon(:

We recently dined at Guest house to celebrate our anniversary, and overall, it was an incredible experience. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, with just the right mix of elegance and warmth. The staff were friendly and attentive, contributing to the wonderful atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious each dish was crafted with care, and the flavors were on point. However, there were a couple of small issues. Despite mentioning our anniversary when we made the reservation, there wasn t any special touch during our meal, which we had been hoping for. Additionally, I informed the waiter I was pregnant as there are certain dietary restrictions. Unfortunately, our waiter didn t seem fully knowledgeable about pregnancy-related food concerns, so I had to ask quite a few questions about the ingredients. It would have been great if the staff were a bit more informed on these matters. That said, these minor issues wouldn t deter us from returning. The overall experience was fantastic, and we look forward to dining here again.

I couldnt have asked for a better first time experience at Guest House with Shelby! I was a little weary when she mentioned the cajun fried red fish special had a soft after taste of strawberry because I had never heard of such a thing. But of course, I was intrigued and immediately ordered it as I had to experience this first it. It was incredible, and she was totally accurate in the best way possible!
