Our first dining experience here was due to another restaurant near here being closed, and that was our original destination. We were very pleasantly surprised to find an excellent wait staff and out of this world smoked brisket queso and bbq sandwich. Great selection of on tap beers and craft beers, as well as the usual assortment of liquors. The atmosphere was fun and friendly. Very nice way to turn around a disappointment of finding your destination closed! We will be back!

Perhaps if the bar girls were worried about service versus combing their hair with their fingers and personal gossip the food and service might have been better. My order came out wrong and after we ordered we were told they didnt have things that were on the menu. Did you not know this when the order was placed? Oh thats right your dating drama was more important.

This place is phenomenal. The moment you walk in is a great atmosphere with friendly staff and the drinks are great with a great price. The food is amazing and tantalize your taste buds. I wish they had more around town. Its worth the drive for lunch. In the weekends they have some live music that is fantastically at a volume where you can still talk to your friends. Thank you Spice Rack for the great experience and i plan to visit again

I seen the bartender serve 5 drinks to customers then she tells me we are closed. Humbled that Im not welcome there isnt acceptable in this establishment but its cool especially when lights are on and the google page says we close at 2am. I have to share the same experience as many of the other reviews. Ive given this place a try on three occasions in the past since moving to the area in 2018. I come to Old Town Burleson quite a lot for the restaurants and a great comic shop. I simply stopped trying to come here. I figured it was just bad timing on my part at first. I was never greeted when walking in. I was asked to move tables on my second visit (nobody seated us). Each time Ive waited anywhere from 15-20 minutes for service. After 20 min I left, each time. I would love to know how the food tastes or any cocktails they serve, but the fact of the matter is, Ive never been served here to date. Ive never even been given a menu when Ive come. If I ever come back after eating, I will update my review from one star, but with all of the cool places to go in Burleson, Crowley, and even Ft. Worth, I usually walk past this door on my way to somewhere else. I have to give this place 1 star as I cannot evaluate it yet.

Husband went in with his work crew for lunch and eventually were told by the waitress that her regulars were going to need that table. Great atmosphere, diverse crowd, very social atmosphere. Felt like a place youd go to have a beer or two after a long day. Youll end up staying to closing even though you have a work meeting in the morning. Youre presenting to your higher ups. You know this before you enter to have your one beer. But its Tuesday and its just one beer. Ok. One more. Plenty of time for rest. Ok. Grab some dinner too. Crowd grows, gets a little louder. Place feels like a good time. So, why not stay a little longer.... good vibe. First time there.

if you play pool bring your own stick and chalk. Be prepared to wait a few minutes for food but its good. They have bands periodically and bingo on a Tuesday night I believe, which is fun. Most people are friendly but like most places they have their clicks.

This was my first time here, and I loved this place. Its such a quaint, little place that show cases an admirable rustic look. I was fortunate enough to witness shift change to enjoy the kindness of all 4 bartenders. My favorite part of my visit, however, was the patrons. Upon going to the bar for my first beer , I was immediately addressed by the most enjoyable fella sitting there with his wife. I was so impressed that I told him how much I appreciated his kindness. Fortunately, he wasnt the only kind patron I had the honor of interacting with. My opinion of the Spice Rack? Its the perfect neighborhood bar. Thank you, Spice Rack, for the awesome experience

Everyone was very nice, food was good so far which I had a hamburger with a fried egg on top & tots. The only thing thats off putting is the seating just because some sit high next to the ones that sit low so you cant see over when the musicians are playing. Hit this place for lunch on a Sunday. They were pretty busy for a small place. We were greeted quickly and got our drinks. The food took a while but as i said they were busy, and it was worth the wait. Smoked chicken nacho appetizer was very tasty and the rack burger i had was excellent. The patty tasted like something off the home grill and everything was fresh. I tried a bit of the cheesteak too and Ill be getting that next time. It was awesome. Good selection of drafts and my glass was never empty. Ill definitely be going back.

I went to Spice Rack Thursday, July 29 and had two drinks; house Chardonnay and a draft Angry Orchard. The bill totaled $13 and some change. When I checked my bank account over the weekend, it showed a charge of $31.64. I have called Spice Rack three times now and have been told they would take a message and have the manager call me back. Three times!! Is this how you do business? Stealing peoples money and then not returning calls to dispute???

Worst service Ive ever gotten. Felt like we were invisible even though we were right next to the bar.
