As a homeschool family with a preteen and teenager, I was so excited to see they offered homeschool classes for this age group. Both of my kiddos have so much fun every week they go. Registering for the classes was really easy, and the classes are so affordable. We are so thankful for Russel Art Farm and what they do for the community.

This was the first time I have visited the Russell farm and it was a treat. Very friendly people and excellent amenities for the family. We took part in the first annual Childrens Entrepreneur Marketplace and had a blast. The weather was not on our side but there was a nice showing of the people of Burleson. Thank you and we look forward to the next one!

Please do not try to have a wedding here. We used two buildings one of which was already cleaned right after the ceremony. Bride was running late so everything got started a little later than expected but they do charge late fees.BUT....charged late fees for the first building even though everything was already cleared out hours before the time that was given. We ALL were cleaning the reception hall trying to get everything done and the grounds keeper was watching us....as we had to rush!!! He was extremely rude and his excuse was because he told his wife hed be home by 10:30....he was ugly to the bride on what was supposed to have been one of the happiest days of her life. Come to find out it was because it was his last day working there. AND to top it ALL off he called the police out there even though we were loading everything up to leave...we walk outside and here they come driving up. I WOULD NOT EVER RECOMMEND trying to say I DO at this place!!!!

All was well until the guy keeping check on everything started guilt tripping the bride about how he was supposed to be home early. Basically ran us out and called the cops. The police didnt even know why they were called as we were packing up and leaving. Dont waste your money on this place. They will just try to ruin your event.

This place is incredible. I have lived here a long time and really didnt know anything about it until my daughter went for a camp. While the customer service can be a bit lacking (not always the nicest service, little communication after registering and little communication to manage expectations), the content of the programs and the place itself is top notch. They have some decent sized gardens, tons of walking space, a butterfly garden, chickens and donkeys. During the camp, they made birdhouses and got to play outside at a safe distance. My daughter loved it, I loved it, we will absolutely go back for any camp here. If anything, I hope more and more people engage so they can address the communication issues with automated registrations, email followup and maybe a customer service page with FAQs, etc.

There are many locations on property that you can choose from to house different amounts of people while having your entertainment there or party. The area where you rented pause for a teenagers birthday party and you do have to pick up after yourself. It served its purpose but there are many to choose from on side. Enjoy.

This is a city owned park which was donated by the previous owner, a woodcarver of renown. It has taken the City of Burleson a few years to figure out just how to deal with a park so very different from most, but they seem to have a vision now. This property was previously a farm and art colony. Several buildings are still there and used for classes. Donkeys and chickens still live on site and are used in childrens activities. Texas A&M has a grape growing study underway. There is also a garden maintained by master gardeners. Tour of the facilities is available and recommended.

Seeing them includes feeding and petting them. They talk to the kids about how to properly fed the donkeys before going to see them. You get to see the chickens running around as well. We shall be back for story time every Friday that we can!
