We recently worked with Gernelle Nelson for some team headshots and candids for our firm. She was fantastic! Not only did she bring great energy and positivity to the shoot, but our team felt comfortable working with her, not stressed. She noticed the small things that make a difference in how the images come through, and she genuinely listened to what each individual said was important to them. Gernelle provided helpful examples and suggestions, and her eye for the candid moments really came through in the final photos they turned out great! Our team was extremely happy. We ll definitely be using her again in the future and highly recommend her if you re looking for a photographer who makes the whole process easy and fun with excellent results.

Excellent work! Her creative vision and ideas were just what we needed after my daughters senior photos taken by her high school were sub par. Ms. Nelson was interested to get to know my daughters personality and what shes interested in and like as a person which she then used to craft a theme with which my daughter was comfortable. The turn around time to see her gallery was super quick and all of the shots are great! Were having a hard time deciding which ones to buy, honestly!

I get a little nervous and anxious with professional headshots since my high-school senior picture came out not so good. We squeezed in a small 8-12 minute session that turned out A-MAY-ZING. Gernelle took pictures of me and my 12-year old daughter in June 2022. She was AWESOME! We met at a studio in Plano and she put us right at ease. My daughter was shy and not sure about the whole photo shoot thing but Gernelle got her to open up and be herself. The pictures are amazing and the whole process (from initial contact to picture download) was super easy and transparent. I highly recommend her!

Simply Superb! Gernelle is a wonderful lifestyle photographer, she captured great memories of my husbands 50th in such a unique way that we loved every picture. Gernelle is a wonderful photographer - very professional, responsive and took great photos of our newborn and family for a newborn lifestyle shoot. Before the shoot, we spoke via Zoom to plan the session and details around it. She then reached out via email and shared a Pinterest inspiration board to ensure that we were on the same page and gave some tips for the day of the shoot. She followed up about a month before my due date to check on the arrival of the baby and when the baby came early, she was super flexible to adjust the dates of the shoot. When she came to our home, she took safety precautions and was extremely patient with our family. The photos came out great. Id definitely recommend.

I ve worked with Gernelle on a couple of occasions, side by side as a makeup artist for her models and have also had the pleasure to be photographed by her. Gernelle is very creative, punctual and open to new ideas. She is amazing to work with because if she picks you for a project she puts her full trust on your skills and doesn t micromanage every little thing; she goves you the idea and let s your artistry shine through. As for my pictures what can I say I have the best business portraits a gal could ask for! Will definitely be working side by side on many projects in the future.

Ive had the pleasure of working with Gernelle behind the scenes as her MUA and then recently in-front of the lens. Im no model, in fact in front of the camera I usually feel really awkward and uncomfortable. Gernelle gave me effortless direction that made me feel more comfortable and within 10 minutes way more confident. She is so friendly and makes everything flow seamlessly. She doesnt draw unnecessary attention like some flashy (pardon the pun) photographers, she really lets you be the focus in the most easy way. She has excellent turn-around time, getting your photos to you while youre still excited. I love working with her and so happy for the experience to be a subject!
