This is my go-to lunch place. The pizza always hits the spot, and they know my wife and I well enough to seat us at our favorite table and bring unsweet iced tea without even asking. The half salad and pizza slice lunch special is pretty much perfect.

Updated: 8/20 <Where Did My Slice Go?> A few months ago, I posted a Google review of Tony C s featuring a pizza that was, quite frankly, burnt to a crisp. The caption read, The quality of BOGO Tuesday pizza was awful! That review has since racked up 10,000 views. Today, I was about to update that review and give Tony C s more stars because I ve noticed a marked improvement no more burnt pizzas! But something peculiar caught my eye with my pizza this time. As I unboxed it, I noticed one slice was oddly and noticeably shorter than the others (see Photo 2). At first, I thought it might have shifted during the ride home. But something didn t sit right. I gently pulled the piece out and tried to move it back into place. It didn t seem to connect naturally with the slices next to it. After a few tries, I slid it toward the edge and voilà the puzzle was solved! (see Photo 3). The mushrooms and bubbles on the dough aligned perfectly with the surrounding pieces, almost as if the slice had been misplaced. And now, I can see what was missing from that piece and understand why it was laid out that way. Very sneaky. While I felt a bit like a detective solving a mystery, it left me with some lingering questions: Why did this happen? Where did that missing piece go? Was something wrong with my pizza? And most importantly, is it still safe to eat the rest of it? It was another surprising Buy One, Get One Free Tuesday at Tony C s. No doubt. (Previous post) Every Tuesday Tony c has buy one get one free promotion. It s a good deal. But I noticed that every Tuesday the quality of the pizzas there is awfully low. Either not fully cooked or burned like this. I m a loyal customer and 2 twice a week. When you order pizza from there on Tuesday, before you open the box you already know it s gonna be something disappointing in it. I just can t believe pizza burned like this can still be sold. :( I may have to find a better pizza place

Food was great - got the lasagna it was good, service was quick, this is a happening spot for sure. The wait staff alone makes this place amazing, every person in the here is as nice as can be. Tiramisu is effing GOOD. If I had to pick between dinner or dessert I d pick that Tiramisu in a heartbeat. Thanks guys.

This is a good place to go. They have good weekday promotions. The food in general is good. I think they sometimes are short in the quantity of ingredients/toppings they put into the pizzas. There was no wait on a Saturday when we came. Our service was great, food was delicious, and we were offered the zeppoles to try! We sat on the covered patio with our dog and ordered the garlic fries (amazing), the truffle shuffle pizza (highly recommend), the carnivore pizza, drinks, and of course dessert. Everything was so good. We will be definitely be back, thank you for a great meal!

My wife and I tried Tony Cs for the first time. The service was very attentive and meal well timed. We started off with a bottle of Merlot, their Garlic Bread knots, stuffed mushrooms, and a sude Cesar Salad. I enjoyed their Chicken Picata and my wife had their Shrimp Alfredo Pasta. We thoroughly enjoyed the portions with their wonderful aroma and flavors. We finished rhe meal off with tiramisu and a cappuccino. We will come back soon!

Ordered 16 Eggplant $22.99 no eggplant and not enough thick. Very thin pizza. Not worth for that money. I had to sacrifice my two slices because they were very thin and we all cant enjoy eating enough to fill our appetite. I know recession is going but that not necessarily mean all the vendors increases the prices of their items and decreases the quantity of their items. Anyways no slices for me. Tony Cs is one of the few Italians restaurants in the area with a real coal fire pizza oven and as a result (combined with quality ingredients and recipes) has some of the best pizza in the Austin area. The staff is always friendly, the entire menu itself is very high quality, and the atmosphere is great old school Italian restaurant style. I recommend Tony Cs to anyone looking for good Italian food and amazing pizza.

This was our first trip to Tony Cs. I had read an ad in the community paper for them and I was interested in trying out a new place. The wine flights were well priced and the pours were generous. My husband loved the Baked Buffalo Mozzarella and the Truffle Shuffle pizza was every thing I thought it would be and more! Our waiter was new but he was so professional that I wouldnt have known if the next person on the shift hadnt told me. My hats off the the new guy who was the only person in the front when we arrived. He was calm and collected while dealing with at least three things that would have had me in tears! The free dessert for first-time dinners was so lovely! We will be back! Thanks, Tony Cs, for a great evening!

Saw NYC pizza and had to try Tony Cs. Cool place to grab a beer or watch sports. Pizza isnt that great. Ordering just a single slice was a convoluted process that took 10 minutes waiting with a table tent. Slice was a facsimile of a NY slice at best. Service/ordering process was about as far from a pizzeria as possible.

I love this place. You can never go wrong with their pizza. We tried the toasted ravioli, definitely toasty but needs more cheese. First time trying Tony Cs and it was EXCELLENT!! The staff was immediately present and very kind. They treated us incredibly nicely and were full of smiles and information. The food was absolutely delicious and quick as well! On top of that their desserts are incredibly tasty. Why a pizza is missing the basic ingredient which is a pizza sauce on it. Who would expect a pizza sauce as an optional. This is something they should look into seriously. You can read my previous review where I rave about the Chicken Piccata. Sadly a very bad experience last Friday, 12/1/23. Did I say Bad, yes I did. I was driving back to Austin from Houston and my wife called and asked what are we to do for dinner?. I was very close and suggested Tony Cs as I was in the mood for the chicken piccata. She said great, please get for me the appetizer meatballs and a small salad. So, I swung back walked in and the place was packed! The girl up front quickly took my To Go order. Good so far. So I read every news on my phone waiting and noticed four bags up front after 20 minutes. Nah, cant be mine. Surely, the girl who had asked my name would not forget me. Yes she did. I walked over and asked about my order, gave my name and she acted like she had never laid eyes on me ever. Handing me the order I was very tired, wanted to get home after a 14 hour work day and eat a nice meal. Nope, I didnt check the order, my bad. I get home and my wife looked in the bag and asked; I thought you wanted chicken piccata?. I said Yes I ordered it. She said; Well, its Not in the Bag!. I said; Youve got to be kidding! So that was Friday night. I called the next day on Saturday and Im told Julie the manager was off, call back Sunday. Ok, I called Sunday, Julie is still Off. Alright, so I called Monday, 12/4/23 and Julie is still off, would I like to speak to another Mgr. I said Yes. So, Tee (not sure of spelling) answered and I explained what happened. I told her No chicken piccata , the salad was underwhelming and the meatballs...hard as a rock. I asked for a full refund, $47.60. Tee said Yes sir. Not a problem. So I finally got a refund but only the chicken piccata ($20.60). So long story, long, it will be some time before I head back. Anyone know of a great place for chicken piccata? I usually don t take the time to write a review but this time is different. I just had their Chicken Piccata for the first time. It was incredible!!! So good. Great flavor and a definite have to have this again! If you re looking for a great Italian dish, just try it. You won t regret it!

Not Sure what the purpose of curb side ordering is if you pull up and no one brings food out. My food was ready at 7:02 according to the text from toast. I have been sitting here for 16 min. One guy wearing a Tony C s shirt just stepped out on the patio on a phone, looked right at us but did not come out. They don t answer there phone either. Just now a a guy came over after another guy went in to get his curbside order. He said it just said online not curbside. The site had me enter my vehicle information. Last order for me at this place! Excuses and now cold food. Thank you for your response and the offer for the $25 card. I moved you up to three stars because of your apology. I am not interested in the $25 card because of have no intention of returning. I do hope that you take a serious look at your service level at this location and fix the issues so others will continue to do business with you.

When my husband wanted to go to here I was skeptical. Im so happy I was so wrong. Turkana is a rock star, hosting, waiting tables swiftly, and bringing bar drinks. Sorry, other guy, but shes crushing it and you were just doing one job. The patio was lovely, so was the sangria. The all star, as it should be for a restaurant, was the food. We had the chefs special pasta that rocked, but my kids kids meals were legit. Absolutely recommend. Kid-friendliness: The kids meals taste good and the coloring sheet was better than most.

Multiple attempts at this location Had to ask for ranch 3 times finished half pizza before receiving (one other customer in the location and not busy) staff was chatting about family drama etc and just hanging out. Togo orders have been wrong 2 out of 5 orders Kids were asked to not touch anything in patio or umbrellas and pretty much asked to not be kids- my son was asking why the handle spins and manager got upset that he touched the handle - literally for touching the handle (not pulling, not playing not anything dangerous) I looked at the restaurant across from us and the kids were acting 10x more kiddish then mine exploring the table umbrellas running, jumping and pulling on umbrellas at restarting next door and staff said nothing to that family Clearly Tony c s is not a family friendly restaurant or kid friendly- I truly don t know how you position your business next to 2 school s, a children s dance studio and a childrens therapy center and then ask a child to not touch anything or explore while eating In the future I will support the business next door that allows kids to touch outdoor umbrella handles

First off this place is a 5 Star for me, but curbside is not. Most people that eat at Tony C s understands that Tuesdays are busy. But when you place an order and it s for curbside, adding the 25% tip, you expect to have your food brought to you. I received the text about my food being ready for pickup. Once I arrived, as usual there was not parking spot for curbside except one. This is not the first time but back then they had employees that would look for your car if you didn t get a spot in front. I signed in letting the place know I hade arrived. 45mins later I walk inside and find out my order has been sitting in a mediocre warmer. By the time I got home, you guessed it, the cheese had settled and the crust was barely warm. I love the pizza here but using curbside because you are handicap and not getting the service is a pain.

***UPDATE*** Well, the word is given, Tony Cs officially, at least in my mind, has the best pizza around. The combination of airy dough, artisanal ingredients, delicate sauce, exceptional cheese, and the coal fired oven deliver the crispy yet supple crust and rich flavors only available at the finest pizzarias. No other establishment does it this well. Others have their place but if you want it done right, to perfection, go to Tony Cs! Thoroughly enjoyed their August Pizza of the month (without the spicy sauce - sorry purists, my palate doesnt appreciate the spicier flare) on a recent Friday early evening. Go early and no wait! The Baked Mozzarella is also exceptional - thick triangles of fresh buffalo mozzarella hand breaded in Italian breadcrumbs, with a rich marinara. Bravissimo! ***Original Review*** I finally figured out how to order their pizza to my liking. First of all, Im personally not a fan of their cheese blend. They use some cool, exotic cheese blend that offends my bourgeoisie taste. I like good ole mozzarella, preferably real Italian mozzarella, so its less about class and more about palate than anything. Anyway, I also like my pies simple...maybe one or two toppings max. Not the American style load up everything type pies. Yes, I am from the U.S., born and raised, but, I consider myself a bit of a contrarian - there are some things that Im super American about and there are things that dont quite appeal to me. Back to Tony Cs....so, if youre not a fan of their blend, all you have to do is order a make your own pizza and choose fresh mozzarella cheese only, no blend... thatll do it! The wait was short...less than 5 minutes on a Friday night at 6:30. The service was great. No staff shortages. Rachel was friendly, attentive, and thorough. And the pizza... perfect! Also had a coffee with cream and sugar...real cream! Delicioso. The Zeppolis are amazing. Pizza dough, deep fried covered with powdered sugar and honey on the side - scrumptious Clear to say, well be back - Soon!

In town for a volleyball tournament and found our way here. We are so glad that we did. This has to be one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. We had the Prosciutto and Goat cheese pizza. The first thing that you notice is the amazing dough they use. The center is thin and you have nice doughy edges to enjoy. On top of the amazing food, the staff was outstanding. With Jacob and Josh handling things behind the bar and on the floor, we couldnt have asked for a better experience.

Excellent experience! Welcoming atmosphere, courteous staff, great music and delicious food. We went with friends to Tony Cs for the Tuesday BOGO special and ordered a margherita pizza and veggie pizza (best veggie pizza Ive ever had), and also ordered Ceasar salads (homemade dressing - yum!). Everything was absolutely delicious. Our server, Karle, was friendly, kind and attentive. The manager, Julie, came over to make sure we were happy with everything, and since it was our first time at the restaurant she brought over a complimentary dessert for the table, Zeppoles, which are similar to beignets, and equally as good! We are going back again very soon!

We went here on a whim. It is just a little place off Avery Ranch Blvd. It was delicious! The food was great and the service was wonderful. Our server, Payton, was great. He was attentive without being over bearing. He knew just what to offer. They have an extensive wine list as well. Overall it was just a great experience. Highly recommend this place. Definitely going back.

I love this restaurant. Its a hidden gem and my new favorite happy hour spot. They have a Super Tuscany Blend (356 or 357) thats my now go-to glass of red . I truly enjoyed the roasted garlic on their prosciutto and goat cheese pizza. The grilled lemon for the calamari is a nice accent. The 12 in pizzas are enough for a date night. Overall, the service is excellent and the GM Joshs attention to detail and making someone new feel welcome is a skill I wish other restaurants perfected. Eat here...but not so much my new favorite place becomes too crowded.

I took my wife, 2 teenage kids, and myself here for dinner. We went just before 6pm and we re seated immediately. We got 1 appetizer, 4 entrees (including a make your own pizza), and a full bottle wine. We were greeted promptly and got our drink/appetizer order in promptly. The only negative is that when we first sat down my appetizer plate was clearly dirty with leftover food on it. I am still giving 5 stars because the service was perfect. I gave over 20% tip. The wine I picked was great. And the remainder of the bottle was prepared for me to take home. My picky teenagers were more than happy with their picks. The pizza scored higher than a very nearby competitor. After paying the bill I was greeted by a manager, I believe, and thanked for my patronage. Will definitely be back for family dinner.

Received good food and service until my experience one day changed everything. I used to order takeout regularly and even though I select curbside pickup, I go to the counter to pickup myself. And always tip at least 10% for takeout. I once placed an order in a rush and forgot to include the tip, and realized only later. I thought Ill make up for it with the next order, however, I was treated very rudely at the front desk when I went to pick up. I wont be back.

We absolutely love coming here. We have never had a bad experience and our kids love it. The Cesar salad is an absolute must! It is the best Cesar dressing we have ever had and I would come here just for that salad. Some of the other things we repeatedly order that are favorites are the sangria, shrimp fra diavolo, bianco pizza, fettuccine, zeppoles and the tiramisu. I will say the garlic knots definitely arent the best, but its a small price to pay when everything else is good.

I was at Tony Cs last week, my friend and I went there for the 1st time. The server Enuck (Pardon me if I spelt it wront) was so kind and so was the manager. Was the best service. They apparently give out a dessert to 1st timers but since it was my birthday they gave 2 free desserts and said we want you to have a good time. Their Tiramisu should NOT NOT NOT be missed. Their food, especially pizza, was great. The server and the president were kind and had a good impression, so it felt warm feeling. However, they came so, so often throughout the meal that they asked if it was okay, and even felt like people with some intentions. I think I came about 10 times while eating. We wanted to relax and enjoy our Sunday lunch, but we couldnt. It was so even though there were many empty seats in other seats. They seemed to want us to leave soon. I have 2 types of reviews for here. I ordered pizza and sticks after being there in person.. After placing order i waited for 25 mins whereas nonone informed me about order is ready. 1. Poor customer interaction,if you dont tip then there is no focus on you .. i pay tip for good customer interaction which was not there wheras if you tip prior you might get good interaction and response but sadly in my case it was not there. 2. At reception, i saw a girl was getting stuff till the car standing at curbside pick up except mine , i think because i didn t tip them..i waited for 15mins to check whether i ll get it in car or not but when it didn t then i went myself and collected it, Tip should for good customer experience and it should not be if you tip then you ll get good customer experience Taste can vary customer to customer but experience should not.. Sadly for me it was not good Nothing person with anyone but hope staff should work on better customer experience

Had a great time at Tony Cs recently. Jacob was our server and he did a fantastic job from start to finish! We had the Prosciutto & Goat Cheese and the Primo. Both were excellent. My son suggested the Prosciutto & Goat Cheese and I didnt think I would like it... I was wrong, it was great. Well definitely order that again! Zeppoles for dessert were very good. Tony Cs was advertising a special of the month Phily Cheese Steak Pizza. When we placed the order they said they dont offer that type of pizza. We ended up placing an order for the Italian Sausage Pizza. The pizza had very little or no Italian Sausage. There was an overwhelming taste of olives. The pizza was extremely thin. Extremely dissatisfied with our experience and will never go back!
