My father declined significantly and was worse after staying here. I reached out to the case manager for over a week and never heard back until the day he was being discharged. They apologized on the last day but there was a big disconnect at multiple levels . Their OT and Speech therapists provide good therapy though. The lead physical therapist was not kind. It is strange because the day we started their customer service seemed to be excellent. Seems like corporate medicine.

rooms was nice. nurses are hard working. some times very responsive other times took more than 30 minutes to go to toilet.you ask for water and they give you room temp mini bottel water long waits for ice water. or ice. most nurses wer great on pain management others wer not. the food is horrible strangest combo I had was chiken with spaghetti noodles and mushrooms gravey ontop of noodles and green bean mix. My first day was ruff on food Im diabetic and they kept giving literal sugar packets or chiken and pasta or potatoes every night. Therapy was good I had a great therapist. but one over the weekend stretched me to fare and my pain was out of control the next day . Im pleased with my stay I was in a safe environment to heal.

My mom has been in PAM twice, My dad once. The first time it was truly wonderful. Great care and sweet people. What I found this time is there are still wonderful therapists who worked kindly and well with my mom. The night staff were very rough. The food was not good. One very kind charge nurse told us she could order all kinds of things but if she did they would not bring it to her. She had diarrhea and wanted a grilled cheese sandwich and they brought her a dried up hard hamburger patty. The case manager was super kind with me and worked to take care of her but the nursing staff could be sub par. They ended up giving her medications that caused her to return to the hospital because she ended up with c.diff

Before admission, my MIL was to be admitted and we were not made aware, we are asking about payments and insurance and was told it was all covered, however my MIL was told she would have to pay for 12 days?! I had to track down who to contact and when she was being admitted because no one called us. However, since my MIL was admitted we have not been contacted by anyone regarding DC planning. When I called and spoke to the case manager he was rude and too busy eating I couldn t understand what he was saying. He then told me the facility does not contact families if the patient is alert and oriented. Which she is NOT! When I asked how she was doing in therapy his response was good. Surprised to hear because 3 days before she was unable to walk. We live in Pennsylvania and was not able to be there therefore we depended on communication but never received it. We have PAM facilities in PA and they are phenomenal but this particular facility is lacking in professionalism and communication.

Want to start by thanking Jason Burchett for his persistence in dealing with our insurance Co to get my husbsnd admitted to PAM. He is genuinely a kind and thoughtful man who is dedicated to the patient. It is quite obvious it is not just a job to him.. PAM is an amazing facility, when you walk in the door it has a delicate fragrance and a big smile from the front desk person.it just keeps getting better from there. It is well staffed with personnel who know what to do and work so well with the patients. Should we need rehab in the future this will be our only facility to go to.

I recently finished my second stay at PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Allen. I want to express my appreciation for the exceptional care I received. I would give this facility a perfect 10 out of 10 stars. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that I achieved my goals and I am truly grateful. Special thanks to Justin, the CEO, for his efforts in organizing my care and to all the nurses and therapists who contributed to my recovery. Their compassion and dedication made a significant impact on my experience. I specifically want to acknowledge, the Patient Care Tech Makayla, Secretaries Ester and Shara. Doctor Cheeta and Doctor Ready, Nurse Practitioners Banky and Maxwell, Nurses: Suja, Marina, Koky, Loriefe, Princey, Izzy, Phil, Muriel, Brittney, and Raquel, Physical Therapists: Tina and Tim, Occupational Therapist Kelsey and the rest of the department. Last but not least case manager, Caite for her tremendous support throughout my stay. I cannot recommend this facility highly enough and I am confident that anyone in need of rehabilitation will receive exceptional care here.

There was some serious miscommunication with the administration staff that caused some issues in the long run, but dont want to lower my stars because the therapy team deserves ALL THE CREDIT.

The best decision made was to have me go toPAM for my initial after care. I will be honest and say that this really was not something I was looking forward to, in fact my first day at PAM was spent with me complaining about anything and everything. However all PAM employees were were kind and really spent not just talking but showing me all the functionality I had, not what I could have. Powerful to have some show you what you instead of what you could have.

For the most part this is a wonderful facility and most of the staff, especially their Dr. Sampath are first class caring medical professionals. But that being said, do pay attention. There were a couple of RNs who had lousy attitudes and one who took my husbands PRN pain medication into her own hands and shorted him what he needed because he didnt look like he needed it. I found that pretty amazing and that turned into quite a fiasco. But like I said, most are wonderful, just dont forget that family/support groups are advocates for a reason.

This facility is truly top notch. From the Pt,OT, Staff to the people coming to transport you from your room to therapy they go above board in helping you and encouraging you. I had a very invasive spinal surgery, they were encouraging me from the beginning and now I can get up without help. I m able to walk, dress myself, and take care of my hygiene. I m 72 yrs old and I was able accomplish this with hard work. The nursing staff is incredible, if you ring for help they respond quickly, this includes CNA and aides. Every doctor assigned to me were again always took their time to ask you how your doing and if there was a problem they handled things and kept on top of things. Honestly this was the best decision I made after my surgery to come here for rehabilitation.

My mother was at The Belmont in AllenTx and this rehabilitation facility is horrible and we transferred to PAM. When I walked in my eyes were amazed. It was sparkling clean, the staff had actual smiles of content. After two weeks my mother had improved tremendously. My mom has dementia and had several bad behavioral episodes and they just dealt with it. They didn t threaten to kick us out of the program they just did their jobs. Every nurse we had worked with our caregivers and were amazing and gentle. Before discharge we were invited to participate in a program that focuses on staying out of hospitals, monitors and works with our primary physician. The facility is ran the way all hospitals in the U. S. use to be. We ve lost that standard of excellency, but PAM continues the standards of cleanliness, earnest patient care, dedicated physical snd Occupational therapist. They were so creative and patient with my mom and I highly recommend this facility and your love one will be safe and taken care of.

One of the worst nursing care you can experience . you won t find doctors everyday and also nurses would give lame excuses that doctor have done rounds early morning by 6 but when you try to ask about doctor updates or notes they doesn t know what he suggested which open s up the story of visit . They do have an excellent therapy staff. also therapies are done in groups not individual bases . So it s only good for outpatient therapies, if you consider for inpatient i would suggest to look for other places .

I cannot express our sincere and complete gratitude for the incredible care that we have received and continue to receive at PAM! It all starts when you walk into PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Allen and you are greeted by Erin Jensen at the Front Desk, she is warm, happy and full of hope and wanting to help every family who comes through the door of PAM! Erin immediately coordinated a tour for me and she is just awesome and continues to be part of our support team, as she genuinely cares about the patients and families who are inpatient and outpatient at PAM! The admissions coordinating team who visits possible inpatient transfers/admissions to PAM from neighboring hospitals with Lori Winstead leading the charge is also incredible, and offers families so much hope and encouragement 24/7, along with Lauren Vera who assists with outpatient support for families, they are a dynamic duo! The holistic care provided to my husband while being in-patient with them twice in the last 2 months has been the very best we have ever experienced, with all the nurses, doctors, case managers, PT, OT, speech therapists and aids are an amazing team devoted to the health and recovery of each patient in their care! We are beyond blessed for Erin, Lori, Lauren, Dr. Figueroa and the entire Medical Team at PAM in Allen! We are now looking forward to continuing our healing journey with my husband starting outpatient this week! Thank you all so very much, we are a forever grateful family! Joe and Michelle Gammon

I recently went to the hospital from PAM rehab and although the outside looks nice when you are there it is different. I loved my therapist TINA AND SARA but after therapy nursing was terrible. Response time for pain and care was very long and there were too many times to count i had to tell nursing what to do instead of them doing there job. If you need good therapy recommend them for outpatient but as far as in patient you would be better off at home with family then going to a depressing place with rude nursing attitude. I have over heard nurses complain about older patients who obviously need help and it broke my heart. I am a 27 year old female who got ran over by a truck i cant walk and need help getting into bed because I can not put weight on my foot. I complained about numbness in my foot and leg and sharp pain and the just gave me more pain medicine instead of figuring out why i felt that way and urged me to call 911. when 911 got there they tried to get me to sign a paper saying i refused medical advise when i did not get any and i have the ems who helped me as witnesses DO NOT GO TO PAM unless you feel you have no other choice. I really believed they had my best care at heart but i feel they are worried about their status than patients and i will be following up on my treatment their and my misleading.

Update. I posted this same review on their Facebook page. Another lady that was a patient here commented and said the same thing happened to her during her stay. It honestly kills me to write this review. Something happened during the last week of my fathers stay here that I just cant forgive... 5 days after he was discharged we ended up in the ER because there were about 4 days that my father did not take his medication during his stay here, mind you these were psychiatric meds (extremely important to take there everyday). The psych meds are the ones we know about who knows how long he didnt take his other meds. And no one told us anything. We visited my father everyday, always spoke to the nurses and no one informed us that he wasnt taking his meds. I understand 100% that the staff cannot force a person to take medication, but how do they not alert the family of the situation??? We could have tried to help and not only did they not tell us, his social worker and doctor were not made aware either! I actually had to go back after my dad was discharged and sit with a nurse who didnt even work with my dad to go over the records of what days my dad did not take his meds. My father is now in the worst shape Ive seen him in for a while, he does not want to get up and barely speaks. I hope with everything in me we can get his meds fixed and regulated again. I just cannot believe the negligence of whoever it was that worked with my dad those last 4 days. I will also say Im not happy with how the situation is being handled. They have constantly told me theyre willing to do anything to help but when I ask for something they cant do it. I also genuinely feel that my complaint is not being taken seriously even when I filed a formal complaint. I will be filing a Medicare and state complaint as well. I wish in the end we had never brought him here, which kills me because I loved everyone else we worked with during his stay. But I cant forgive this. I dont know what else to say... I am devastated.

Our mum was in PAM Allen for 3 weeks. I cannot say enough good things about this place! Dr. Figueroa is excellent. He is simply the best! The morale of the place is amazing. Mom was barely able to sit when we moved her to PAM. When we left after 3 weeks, she was able to walk a few steps with assistance. The therapists, especially Amy in OT, are so caring and involved in every aspect of recovery. Nursing care was good. We asked mom to be discharged into home care in Houston, not Dallas. Nina, the case manager went above and beyond to help set everything up for us in Houston. The physian, therapy appointments, specialist contacts, everything was ready for us when we came home. The best part of all this is, even after coming to Houston, we had reason to reach out to both Nina and dr. Fig for something or other. We received prompt response for EVERY request! We will recommend PAM Allen anytime.

I am writing this review as an only child, and one that is truly thankful to PAM Allen and the care they provided to my dad. I took some time to write this review just so readers can hear how far my dad has come. Both my parents were diagnosed with Covid Dec. 30th 2020 and admitted to the hospital. Unfortunately my mother passed away in January due to complications, but my dad was transferred to PAM Allen after being in a local hospital for 3 weeks. I was unsure where to transfer my dad, and certainly wanted the best of care after losing my mother. After much research he was transferred to PAM. From the very beginning, OT, PT and RT were very attentive to my dad and worked with him daily to help him improve. Nursing and the techs were very friendly and always listened to my input, suggestions and questions. Just to understand how sick my dad was initially with COVID, he was on Airvo (high flow) oxygen maximum settings for weeks, had a pulmonary embolism, double pneumonia, went into A-Fib (just once thankfully) and lost 30 pounds and could only do a sponge bath for weeks. Thank you to the entire PAM team, Dr. Figueroa and Dr. Yazdani for the medical care, kindness and especially empathy during such an incredibly difficult time for my dad and my family. Dad came home with me during the week of the snow storm and since then, I am thrilled to report he has finally been weaned off Oxygen 100% about 5 weeks ago, takes daily walks around the neighborhood and just started driving again this past week. My dad was on the verge of giving up countless times and passing, so I am thankful for everyone who helped my dad recover and have a second chance.

If I could break this review down, I would give 5 stars to the therapists and 0 stars for customer service. PAM offers a transportation service which was the only reason I agreed to have my mother go to this hospital. The transportation service picked her up late on multiple occasions so she was very late to her appointments which she really needs to be able to walk on her own again. The therapists, understandably so, could not make up time for her late appointments. In talking to the Director of Admissions, it was clear she didnt care, was more concerned about the driver than she was about my mom and viewed me as a problem. Her resolution was for me to drive my mom myself or stop coming. They must have a policy where they just dont talk to people who are unhappy because I contacted another PAM employee who beforehand was super lovely in trying to help my Mom become an in-patient, but now ignored my texts and calls when I was trying to resolve the issue. Its really unfortunate that they dont value customer service or trying to help their patients.

I highly recommend PAM Rehabilitation Hospital of Allen to anyone in need for rehabilitation services. Unfortunately, due to my father s health issues, I ve had the opportunity to visit many hospitals and rehab facilities across the country. I must say this rehabilitation hospital is like no other I ve ever seen. The staff here goes above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable and getting better. From the team of doctors to all of the nurses and therapists, everyone is genuinely focused on making sure patients and visiting family members are comfortable during their visit here. I am forever grateful to this place and everyone here. They helped my father recover and become the healthiest he can be! Special shout out to Therapist: Eric, Sara, and Shilpa Nurses: Teundra, Ana, Andesha, Leah, Lucinda, Lucille and Rahab. I am sorry if I missed anyone..Also, want to thank Jose De Jesus, Dr Ivan Figueroa, Dr Saeed Malik for helping my father get better..The entire PAM RH of Allen.. you are the best in the business!!!!!

I had total knee replacement surgery on February 15. I as inpatient at Medical City McKinney for 5 days. I was scheduled to go home and have home health physical therapy. Because I had no one to stay with me at home I was transferred inpatient to PAM Rehabilitation of Allen. This was by far the best thing that could have ever happened to me! Within a few days I was up and walking on my own with a walker. The therapy staff were absolutely amazing! Now only three weeks after surgery I am back working at my full-time job (no walker or cane at all)!! If I had not gone to PAM, I definitely would still be weeks away from getting back to work. I was given excellent care both as an inpatient and now as an outpatient. The therapy staff are absolutely amazing! I highly recommend PAM Rehabilitation Hospital for both inpatient and outpatient therapy. I am forever indebted to PAM Rehabilitation of Allen for getting me on the road to full recovery quicker than anyone ever imagined. Thank you to everyone on the staff at PAM Rehabilitation of Allen. You guys rock!!!

I suffered a ruptured aneurism/stroke 2 months ago. I came here for in patient rehab after discharge from the hospital. I was not totally alert when I got here and was barely able to do rehab. In two weeks I m almost walking without the need of a walker. I m doing everything on my own, showering, shaving, going to the bathroom etc. Dr. Figueroa and Dr. Oswald were great, explained things to me in easy to understand terms. And, I can t say enough great things about my therapists. Natalie, Lori and Staci were kind but pushed me hard. I owe my almost full recovery to them and PAM. Oh don t let me forget all the great nurses and techs who took great care of me and supported my wife through this. Thank you PAM.

Communication is key and at Pam I was able to follow up with my mothers progress. The entire staff was very professional and friendly. The admission advocate, Jose de Jesus, was available 24/7 to help me transition. Dr Figueroa and her nurses went above and beyond to provide comfort with dignity and respect. I highly recommend this facility and would return for rehab at any time.

From Juan Guevarez: The care and treatment was incredible, the foods were delicious, Dr. Figueroa was very informative and precise! The nurses were very comforting and attentive, and the all of the therapists (physical, occupational, and speech) were very helpful and kind! I am a dialysis patient and they found a way to give me treatment for two weeks, which was very convenient. I am very appreciative of all the help I got, and I would recommend the PAM Rehabilitation Hospital of Allen to anybody!

My Dad was in the hospital for 22 days due to kidney failure, heart failure and respiratory failure, I was very worried of my Dad being transferred to another Hospital and spend more time in bed, but the reha hospital did everything they can possibly do for him with in the first day, they accommodated all his needs, including changing his hospital bed for one that will help him with his lower back pain. I am truly convence PAM reha Hospital is the reason why my Dad start back in his feet right away. Anything that we needed that we think our Dad need they were very promoted to take care. He was assessed immediately by different Doctors And the therapy was intense with in the limits of his needs , because of this, my Dad start mobility and holding himself within 3-4 days all the staff and the nurses were extremely Humble and caring. I do extremely recommend PAM reha. Our Parents are our treasure and This facility will ensure your love ones are in the road to recover right away. José our coordinator is an amazing human being. Dr Abraham very good side manners. All doctors and staff was truly exceptional. You will not see this kind of treatment very often any more so Reha in Allen is the way to go.

BI had a mild stroke and went to Baylor Scott White Centennial. After 4 days the hospital discharged me to go to rehab at Victoria Gardens in Frisco, located on Rolater. I was there for 6 days and only had two and a half hours of therapy...and was making no progress. As soon as I could, my wife had me transferred to the PAMRehab center of Allen. It was a difference between night and day! My first night, I had a great, hot meal (my first in 6 days!) I Soon met with therapists who quickly assessed me. This facility is filled with a therapy staff that is both caring and professional. Miraculously, they had me on my feet walking with a cane within only three days! The rehab physician, Dr. Figaroa, spent over an hour with me during three visits. The center diligently worked with me to correct my medications. After my first evening meal, I was extremely pleased with the dietary staff s diligence in providing a balanced diet that was very delicious. I had good choices for every meal, and if their offered choices were not what I wanted, they would come up with another choice of my wishes. If you need a rehab facility, I would highly recommend the PAM Rehabilitation Center of Allen. It is an OUTSTANDING place to be!

I dont know where to begin to describe this particular facility. Its like a home away from home, family with family. The people are consistent, professional, courteous and humble. Their focus is the patients rehabilitation. It reflects with the physical therapy/ occupational therapy/ speech therapy 3 hours a day 5 days a week. Encouragement 7 days a week. Communication is certainly the key. PAM holds the key!

If I could provide zero stars I would. I have filed complaints with Medicare and other state agencies regarding the level of care my mother received including overmedicating to the point of lethargy and alternate state of my mother while in their care. Their response was its a normal occurance.

Its been a few years since I was a patient here. I read some of the other reviews & felt a need to post my experience. They have incredibly caring personnel here, from the therapists, to the doctors, even the cafeteria staff! Everyone was patient with me, and I regained much of what I had lost in my stroke before I left. They encouraged me every day to do better than the day before and it really helped in my progress. I arrived paralyzed and walked out. I cant say enough good things about everyone at this facility.

My mother was admitted late Friday and I was prepared for a nightmare. We had a good experience the last time but I was still nervous heading into the weekend. The liaison on Thursday ensured everything was taken care of down to accommodating her special TV need. The maintenance engineer even checked to make sure everything was working before he left for the night. They went over and above the call of duty to get her settled. The weekend went very smooth and her nurse Ronnie was terrific as was the nurse aide, I think Keely. Anna her other nurse has been so helpful with the scheduling of appointments and questions. I have been kept updated by case management and mom even loves the food. Mom enjoys the therapy team and how they are patient and encouraging. She is one tough customer so hats to off to this staff for making this stressful situation on all of us so much better. I cant thank you enough for your kindness, care and prompt attention to her and all those I witnessed staff caring for this week. Nothing is perfect, but this experience has been great and a repeat good experience from her visit here a year ago. Well done!

Horrible place. If at all possible use another facility. Most of the staff is incompetent and/or uncaring. There are a few good ones, but the majority - including the doctors - are slow to respond, uncaring, unfriendly, incompetent and generally detached from individual patient care. After having a loved one stay at this facility on multiple occaisions, I have found the experience essentially the same despite changing ownership from Twin Creeks to Warm Springs. Whatever they want to call it, its obviously a place for people in healthcare to go work when they arent talented or caring enough to get a real job at a real hopsital.
