1st time mature bride, 1st venue to visit . Late afternoon meeting . Initial review upon driving in was that the property, although pretty, was not kept up or groomed . The venue building looked tired and wore out . Met with the planner , first thing she fumbly said after greeting us, was what do u want from us . I asked for availability and pricing . She brought in another planner who joined us . He began his sales pitch to my friend I brought w me . He never asked who was the bride . After his constant eye contact w my friend and telling her the details , I had to abruptly state I am the bride . After price was quoted , we left. No matter what the cost , I would not have rented this venue . It has tons of potential but their staff needs a lesson or two on communication .

WOW WOW WOW!! Is all I can say!! 9th Sky Reserve is literally the best and most perfect place to get married!! We just got married on June29, 2024 and the ENTIRE process from beginning to end was unbelievably perfect !! The owners Todd and Angelica are the most loving, understanding and genuine people ! Their venue wedding coordinator Marissa is FABULOUS! I worried ZERO through the entire process and day of my wedding ! I can not thank each of them enough for making our wedding day spectacular!! We love you guys!!

Absolutely gorgeous venue, even more beautiful than the website makes it look! Definitely get out there for a tour! Todd showed us around, explained options to personalize the space and make it our own. Twinkle lights are part of the vibe I was going for and there are twinkle lights galore here! And he mentioned that there will be even more coming soon! We were so impressed with this venue!

9th Sky Reserve was a fantastic venue! Angelica and Todd were so helpful in helping us prepare for our wedding day and Marissa was a great coordinator. All vendors that were recommended by them were also amazing! The floods damaged the pier and within a few weeks they rebuilt it bigger and better! I would highly recommend it here, it can be a drive but the natural beauty and escape from the city is well worth it!

Had my wedding at this venue and absolutely loved it. The team is very helpful and will make sure everything is how you want it. They will go above and beyond to assure you have the best day. Our wedding day came with very unexpected rain and they easily worked around it and it was still perfect!! The property is BEAUTIFUL and we got so many compliments on the location and decor they provided. Highly recommend and cant imagine having had my wedding anywhere else!

I cannot say enough about this place! Todd and Angelica were so accommodating. Marrisa was there with us every step of the way. Our wedding was amazing! We told Marrisa and Angelica that we wanted a casual wedding that was all about family. I knew we were in the right place when Angelica told us that their place was our place now. If you book here you WILL NOT be disappointed. This place is magical and my husband and I will be booking more family events here for years to come!

We are just in preparation for our wedding in June , and I can not express enough how wonderful the owners Todd and Angelica are along with their wedding coordinator Marissa! We just left our visit in preparation for our big day and when most venues say it s all about you !! THEY TRULY MEAN IT !! We got married here 11.20.21 and we loved it. We always look back at our pictures and videos with so much fondness. The outdoor ceremony spot was big enough to fit our whole bridal party during pictures but intimate enough that when we had our ceremony it was just our officiant and us on the deck. Loved the scenery around the lake, coming from the city, it was great. The reception was beautiful, and this was before all the renovations they ve done! Angelica and Todd were wonderful to work with and very accommodating. Loved their staff, from the bartenders to Marissa the day of coordinator/ wedding planner. There were some wedding day of issues like any wedding, but I didn t find out about anything/ stressed and they handled it on their own. I asked the bartenders if they had everything they needed and they said everything was perfectly fine! Come to find out all our limes/ garnish were left in the car trunk by the groomsmen. The bartenders figured it out themselves and had their own backup supply so I didn t even know until the next day when I found out stuff in the trunk untouched . We brought in our own DJ, cake and Food Vendor and they worked with them without any problems. Thank you for helping make our special day possible!

This place was seriously a hidden gem. 9th Sky Reserve has so much to offer; the stocked lake, the campfire, the scenery, and the beautiful ceremony and reception area. The owners, Angelica and Todd, are amazing and very thoughtful people. They made sure that everything looked the way I wanted it on the day of my wedding and I didn t have to lift a finger. The day of cordinator, Marissa, helped with the planning process and made sure everything went perfectly during our time there. Thanks to this amazing team I had the wedding of my dreams!

Absolutely gorgeous!! This place is stunning, romantic, rustic yet chic. I was so impressed by the gorgeous venue, outdoor lighting, bonfire, lake, and the tall forest trees. It feels like a fairytale in real life. The owners are also incredible people. I thoroughly enjoyed speaking to and spending time with Angelica and Todd. They are both amazing and demonstrate such professionalism and excellence. I love everything about this place and cant recommend it enough!

So far, so good! I feel this place is a hidden gem! Campfire, lake to fish, dance Hall, indoor/outdoor ceremony options, Groomsmen suite and bridal suite to get ready on site, and so much more! I strongly recommend going to their website and doing the 360 virtual tour, it is so accurate. The place is super cute!!! And its spacious. Angelica and Todd were so welcoming to me and my fiance when we came to tour the place. What I love is how open they are to what me and my fiance vision for our big day, and how they give us ideas we hadnt even thought of. They are very fun to talk with and are easy going. (PET FRIENDLY!!! So long as you communicate with them that you want you fur baby to be a part of your day. I feel lucky they are letting BOTH my fur kids be there.) They have what I think is affordable inclusive packages compared to other venues, and I feel you get soooo much more with their offers. If I am ever uncertain about anything I can send Angelica a text and she responds fast and explains things/ fix things. (So far its only been invoice stuff.) Ill update my review once I survive my big day! Thank you Angelica and Todd for being part of my and my fiances love story.

OK! where do I start? I toured the venue January of 2021, booked in April of 2021 and had my wedding March 5th of 2022. I worked with these people for about a year. Venue- venue is beautiful! understated but classy! the twinkling lights above the aisle really sold it for me! the ceremony spot right by the lake was also a selling point! Its secluded and private! Bridal and Groom suites were comfortable and cute! The reception area is awesome because so much natural light comes in. all in all just a beautiful spot to get married at Angelica & Todd (Owners)- when i toured their venue in 2021 i fell in love with not only the venue but them as well. I toured a few venues but if im being honest Todd and Angelica were one of the top reasons i booked this venue. They were so accommodating they asked about my vision and anything i threw at them they were game! They were communicative throughout the wedding planning process and answered any questions i had in a timely manner. Wedding day I arrived and they made sure i was relaxed that decorations were how i wanted them. 10/10 service amazing people. Marissa (Coordinator)- They had a package at the time i booked that included a coordinator, which i purchased. a lot of my friends said that most venue coordinators are only there in the best interest of the venue. Well, NOT MARISSA, she made sure EVERYTHING got done. All questions went to her all problems went to her and she only had one priority and that was to make sure my husband and I were having and amazing time. There was some minor hiccups, as any wedding has, but i NEVER found out about them until after the wedding was finished. I honestly cannot put into words how amazing this woman is! she was born to be a wedding planner. She was hired to be day of coordinator but answered all my questions throughout all of my wedding process. You will not have a better coordinator. Mary & Lauren (Bartenders)- AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. made sure the drinks kept flowing all night. They were attentive and just all around nice and kind. They were communicative if anything was running low. We had signature drinks and they mixed them to perfection! Great bartenders! Jeremy (DJ)- He was communicative and we had a phone call of what type of music i wanted! He kept my guests dancing all night! He accepted requests and made sure to communicate to my guests to go sign guestbook, to eat, to grab cake. Great job! All in all this staff made the day of my dream possible! I was not stressed i didnt have to handle one problem, NOT ONE! this team is a 10/10 and trust me im so picky that means a lot! HIRE THEM! BOOK WITH 9th SKY!!!!!!!

9th Sky Reserve was PERFECT. Our experience with them was so phenomenal and I will NEVER get over how much I enjoyed my wedding. 1) super reasonably priced. Easily the most affordable place we looked at, WITHOUT sacrificing any quality of service. 2) easy to work with. Angelica was so easy to get in touch with when I had questions or requests. She was so professional and enthusiastic through the whole process. 3) INCREDIBLE staff. Marissa, the day of coordinator, was a godsend. She made my day so easy and stress-free. I didn t have to worry about a single detail day of - Marissa had it covered! She did not let anyone bother me about petty details, and if anything went wrong, I have no idea, because I didn t handle it! The bar staff and DJ were also super great. 4) absolutely gorgeous. If you are looking for an outdoor venue that is both romantic and fun, you ve found it. I literally cannot recommend 9th Sky Reserve enough. More than one guest told me afterwards that it was the most fun they ve ever had at a wedding, and a BIG part of that was the incredible owners and staff at 9th Sky Reserve.

Adding a description because the owner claims this review to be fraudulent. I called yesterday to inquire as the maid of honor to get information on the venue for the bride. Somehow, the call got dropped, and when Angelica called me back, she left a voicemail cussing (I have receipts). Very unprofessional regardless of whether or not you apologized when you called back. And your response to this review also shows your unprofessional behavior.

The 9th Sky Reserve was a dream come true! The owners, Todd and Angelica were amazing throughout the whole wedding process. It was supposed to rain on our wedding day and they had a back up plan prepared for us when we arrived. Luckily the rain held off and we were able to have our ceremony on the dock by the water. 9th skye, wow! This venue has come a long way in one year! There have been so many awesome improvements, like the dance floor! Everyone went above and beyond for this day to be unforgettable. Our day of planner, Jessica, was THE BEST. She stayed on top of everything and was very adament about my hubby and I not lifting a finger. I really appreciated that, thank you!! Angelica and Todd did a splendid job having the venue ready for us! They were very accommadating and commumication was high as you could imagine. They promptly replied any time we had questions or concerns. We are SO grateful. A day we will never forget. Weve had SO many compliments regarding the venue. At night, it is so romantic! My wife and I just had our wedding at this venue. We could not have asked for a better place. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful from day zero and continues to well after the event. This venue is an incredible find. Due to the vertically integrated organizational structure of the management, they offer so many services that would normally compound the costs of your event. For example, they can offer on-site DJ, bar-tending, etc. for a fraction of the cost of other venues. Not only that, they help with covering the little things that make planning difficult. During our day, we had forgotten water for the guests. Their management delivered water at no up-charge. Just think about that for a moment; most venues would take that opportunity to up-charge to $4 or $5/bottle! I think this speaks volumes towards their integrity. The on-site bridal suite was able to accommodate 5 bridesmaids and a bride all at once. The location was spotless clean and very spacious for the whole family. Worried about the weather? Dont. It has sufficient indoor and outdoor areas for our 75+ guests. The staff was perfect and catered to every change with professionalism and grace. The groomsmen suite was also the perfect bachelor pad. It accommodated the equivalent amount of groomsmen with ease. It has a shower and beer fridge! What more can you want? If you want a lovely retreat from city life for your wedding, this place is it. I cant stress enough how the staff and management of this place made it possible to have the best self-planned wedding ever.

I was actually a part of a wedding here last month. While the venue owners honestly seemed very nice, we showed up the day of the wedding with the venue not having been made ready for the wedding. 5 hours before the wedding, heaters had not been turned on, there was only one working bathroom, members of the wedding party and family had to clean up the venue from Christmas decor that had been left out, and also had to decorate for the wedding. Absolutely nothing was set up as promised. Additionally, there was a dead roach on the floor in the bridal suite as soon as I walked in. While I understand that this is the country and bugs can oftentimes find their feet in the air in random places that we do not care to see them, this one had happily made his home in an area among dust. So therefore, I can tell you with certainty that this place does not do the COVID cleaning that they are charging all of their brides for. Also, there were these odd-looking gel-filled wine glasses sitting on the table for decor. Well, it was more of an appetite suppressant, since there was a layer of dust and various bug carcasses laying on top. So in order for us to enjoy our day and not vomit all over the pretty white couch, I moved these as far away from our activities as possible. The wedding coordinator that the venue owners pushed the bride to use for nearly $1k had committed to showing up at the venue at 10am. However, she did not show up until 1pm, and felt like she could come into the bridal suite and (kindly) demand that we all go do our rehearsal. What are bridal parties usually doing 2-3 hours prior to a wedding, I might ask? She wanted us to stop all hair, makeup and photographic events to rehearse... because she was late and hadnt informed anyone that she would be 3 hours late. Also, I should mention her name is Marissa Reinmund. Gabriel Porter (who has left reviews on this venue both here and on theKnot) is actually the owners son and DJ that they do push all customers to use. Also, he lives on the property, in the actual grooms quarters. Now dont get me wrong, the venue was set in a very serene location. And the owners were nice to me that day. However, I just feel like they could have been a bit more professional. There was some uncomfortable gossip going back and forth during the day about the wedding party and family that we overheard; and later, the venue owner sent a text that was meant for her husband to the bride, referring to the bride in the slur term for a female dog. I was very disappointed, to be honest. I feel like they could do a lot better at being professional and honest with their couples, and hope to see that in the future. ***** Im amending my review in order to respond to the reply the venue owner left. ***** First, this response given here is a canned response that has been used over and over again for multiple reviews. Second, I have stayed out of posting any reviews due to the pending lawsuit; I feel like that speaks for itself and I honestly just felt the venue owners meant well, but merely didnt have the experience in these matters. Third, absolutely nothing about this comment was vindictive. I did try to add in a little humor, yes. The bug mess in the gel-filled wine cups was gross, so I merely moved them. Theres the statement without the added silly humor. Lastly, I really do think that the property is beautiful and the venue owners mean well. This is not vindictive nor is it an attack. It is merely an unbiased review and I stand to receive nothing from this either way from anyone. Future brides and grooms should have all of the information and perhaps this will incite better communication going forward.

We just recently booked our venue here, and it is amazing! The owners were beyond helpful! They help plan everything, and are amazing at planning it out with you. They have a variety of choices, including horse carriage ride (because who DOESNT want to feel like a princess, AND gain some alone time with the groom after the ceremony?!) Fishing, a gorgeous bridal room. They worked with our budget, and some personal issues that made scheduling a date difficult. I thought booking a venue would be crazy hard...I was Terrified! But Angelica and Todd made this the easiest and best time ever! They took a picture of our dates with us and even offered to celebrate the moment! Everything was so welcoming and professional! We felt at home and like we were taken care of!!!! I cannot wait for the venue date! Angelica has already made all of our concerns about decorating and design non-existent! If you are on the edge about visting, dont be! Vist and I promise youll book a venue before you leave! They cared for us better then family!

The 9th sky reserve team went above and beyond to make us feel special and reassured us the whole time that we would get our special day Our guests were happy, we were ecstatic that we got our dream wedding at the wedding venue of our dreams! I cannot wait to get married at this beautiful venue! Angelica and Todd were so wonderful during my tour, and I instantly felt so reassured that my wedding day will be in good hands. I understand they recently had inevitable small amount of winter storm damage, but they were hard at work to make sure the venue was back to its perfection very quickly. They have a strong dedication to this venue and you can tell as soon as you walk through the venue doors. Indoor/outdoor ceremony options, a beautiful pond for the outdoor ceremony, fishing!, a beautiful fire pit, multiple bathrooms for the guests, endless parking, a HORSE CARRIAGE, the option of having your centerpieces taking care of, the list goes on and on. You can always tell the different when someone is there to only take your money, and when someone actually has a passion for their line of work Angelica and Todd were there for me and listened to all my needs. Heck, I felt like family by the time I left my tour. They were so, so sweet and even took the time out of their day to wait almost an hour to make sure my fiancé had the opportunity to look at the venue. I would give them even more stars if I could! Don t get it twisted - this is a gorgeous venue with a truly unique charm and excellent staff. There s something for everyone here - a fire for chatting, a lake for fishing, trails for walking, fields for games, and lots of seating throughout the venue for those comfortable inside. You have to feel it for yourself! I have not gotten married here. I worked here DJing and supporting the venue from its early beginnings. I must have worked 25 or more weddings here in 2020 and all but two were phenomenal events ending in warm memories for the newlyweds and their guests. I have worked many other venues and I must say the individualization and personal attention couples receive here is a stark contrast to the one-size-fits-all, in-and-out wedding industry. This venue is ever changing - it has vastly expanded and improved its usable space over the entirely of 2020 and I expect it will continue to do so. Regardless of venue choice my advice to couples is that perfect days require the perfect people. On the big day, to be in-laws and stressed bridesmaids will bicker and fret about a cocktail table an inch out of place. Hire a full day coordinator and a planner!! It SERIOUSLY separates good events from not-so-good events. You only get to do this once to let someone else handle the small stuff so you can focus on your partner, guests and the tasty beverages at the bar ;)

Angelica and Todd are two wonderful people. I met them when I was looking for a place to hold a celebration of life. Their place is amazing, in the middle of a forest, rustic but full of beauty. My friends and I had an amazing experience there. It was the perfect place to remember the loved one who was no longer with us, and at the same time gave us the opportunity to relax and recharge our batteries. Angelica and Todd did everything in their power to organize the event. Everything went smoothly and beautifully. All my friends were impressed by their kindness and professionalism.

I was a guest at a wedding that took place there just recently. I had come early to help the bride with getting ready as we are in from out of town and had some free time on our hands. The place was a mess. I myself am getting married in October and any time I visit my venue it is clean and organized and I can only imagine that it will be better once everything is set up ready to go. This is what every woman wants for their day. We put in a lot of effort prior to so that on the day we can be relaxed and enjoy and not have to worry. Well if you re looking for that here, Don t! Find another place. But if you re looking for a good workout and like to get your hands dirty on your wedding day and play Cinderella cleaning all day long then sure. Come here! The owners are like the two evil stepsisters talking and plotting behind your back! Trying to make your day terrible. Ripping things apart at the seams. Obviously they have their own issues to be behaving in this way. And they spewed their issues all over my friends wedding. It is disgusting. And unacceptable. Please if you re looking to book here. Keep looking. Everyone deserves a very special day with people who are helping to make it even better. Not worse!

Attention to any future brides and or if you are looking to book an event with this venue. The owners Todd and Angelica, completely ruined a wedding here. The place was extremely dirty and owners were extremely rude day of wedding. Also, dont bother booking the DJ they offer (their son) he will not play any songs you requested in advance. Run away from this place!

It s definitely a beautiful venue, we had our wedding ceremony next to a small lake and the chandelier in the party space gave it an elegant look and we loved the fairy tail vibe with the lights illuminating the entrance and walk to the isle. Thank you for your service

My husband and I got married here in the beginning of October and we had the perfect day!! The owners Angelica and Todd were so kind and welcoming they are truly wonderful! The venue itself is gorgeous and you can have not only the ceremony there but the reception as well! The venue was decorated perfectly to our color scheme and was beyond anything I could have ever hoped for! BRIDES listen up to this next part, the bridal sweet is top notch, lots of space to get ready in a beautifully renovated room. You can relax and enjoy your music as the ceiling fan has a neat Bluetooth feature! I wish I could get married all over again, it was truly a perfect day!
