I waited a hour and a half before I was able to be seen I applied for my daughters first time ss card and was told it would be 7-10 business days it s been almost a month and I still have yet to receive her card I called the office and they told me they don t see anything pending which means I m going to have go through the process all over again which is just so so great

There was a very rude woman behind the counter that spoke to me. As I was trying to get funds for a new vehicle. That being said, these funds are my back payments that they do not release to you only Three payments one every 6 months. Youre allowed to buy items such as utilities, furniture and vehicles and clothing as well. But I felt like I was on trial and that what I was saying about said vehicle was a lie. I cant put into words how much the the social security administration has spelled me and many other Americans. If I could give this office a zero star I would.

I had a great experience here today getting a replacement SSN card. The security guard was very friendly and the lady that helped at my appointment was so nice, approachable and helpful. Seamless experience.

My first time in this building and very disappointed the guy with tattoos in window #1 treat me very bad and ask me questions like he work for inmigrartion instead of tell me the step for get mi ss number and start talking shi and doing he s work in bad mood ..

They had me on the phone over a hour before a person answered. She did not help me get my 1099. She gave me a # to call and be connected to animated call to get help. Spent over a another hour when I was disconnected. This has got to be the worst service on the planet

Patience helps but all staff from front door (I had my ginger water and security said I could not have food or drink in lobby, put back in my car but a lady came out with a water bottle? I followed his command) to desk assistance was very pleasant. The wait depends on people waiting and my personal service was above and beyond. The phone I got faster service with national 800 number and laughed when agent asked if I lived in North Central Texas.

The security guard is on a power trip, cranky old geezer. Yelled at women, young and elderly. Read other reviews talking about him too. Feel sorry for his wife and kids if he ever even found a woman that could stand his personality, let alone touch him that is. Someone should tell him he s a rent-a-cop making minimum wage, man has seen one too many episodes of Yellowstone.

I arrived early and got right in. Im from out of town and it was easy to find. You have to wear a face mask inside but they are provided at the door by security. Quick in and out.

I have tried to update my husband and my own Citizenship information twice through mail and each time our applications were returned because they want original drivers license or passport to accompany the Original Citizenship certificates. They wont allow any in-person appointments and We both have to drive for work and travel by air. It amazes me that It is safe/mandatory to send our kids to school with/without mask in this Pandemic but Government offices, like SSA and Passport offices are closed for in-person appointments.

Like every one else said, phone service is horrible. It takes multiple minutes to get through the automated messaging maze, and its a coin flip if the people actually pick up the phone. The people who work there are rude and a textbook example of lazy government employees. Bright side, they take walk ins now but will stop you at the door and assertively inquire if you have all the required documents before letting you walk in. Very poor and frustrating customer service provided.

Had Legal Aid of Wichita County on the phone with me at the window with the Social Security staff member. Legal aid wanted me to ask for a list of form numbers and I was asked to sign some mostly blank signature page first. I was asked to leave and the list of forms was never provided to me for Legal Aid. My signature under duress was never provided to the Social Security staff person either. Barney Fife probably enjoyed that afternoon!

Wait time for a mid Friday morning was less than 10 minutes and young lady assisting me in changing my direct deposit was nice knew her job well and processed my request quickly and told me it would take effect for my March payment. Thank You for the great service

We had to apply for a replacement SS card for my son because we lost it in the move and needed something quickly to enroll him in school. I dreaded making the hour drive only to meet the Beetle Juice waiting room. I had proper ID and documentation (including a filled out application) and I was in and out in 20 minutes, no joke. The gentleman that filed the paperwork for me was sweet as pie and looked like Iron Man. He was efficient enough that within the 20 minutes I was on the property we had time to reminisce on quality Cajun sausages and discuss Texan pronunciation- this man is giving bureaucracy a good name!

A breath of fresh air!!! I used to live in Lakewood Washington so I would use the social security office located off Oakes street in Tacoma Washington and if you had to go you might as well check the whole day off if you even get though the door before the security officer sends you away saying come back tomorrow were filled to capacity grr! Here Im literally in and out in less than an hour on their busiest days :)

The one in Lawton was, too busy to handle me that day, as I found out over the phone. The one in Wichita Falls gave me a whole lot better service. Even though it was an extra 35 mile drive, they got me checked in quickly, and at the window after 15 minutes. The man was very pleasant and worked to find a solution to my problem. He gave me several options to choose from, and then gave me details about how to go and fix online, my problem. I will be coming back to this location.
