I visited this place for the second time, hoping for a better experience than the last. Unfortunately, it was not the case. I convinced my sister to join me for a meal, but we were disappointed right from the start. At first glance it look busy but there was no wait to be seated. And thats the only good thing. Seeing as how the older white woman, a young Hispanic woman, and another blonde headed woman...kept ignoring us. 20 min after we had been seated, we were acknowledged by the young Hispanic lady. She took our order and we thought we would be getting coffee soon, but no. We watch as incoming customers would come in and get knowledge and their drinks would be provided. The last straw was seeing a couple sitting behind us getting their food before we even got our drink. All in total we had waisted 45min trying to get some thing to eat or drink. Good thing we are not diabetic nor do we have low blood pressure. If you do, dont come here. You may have to suffer for 30 to 45 min to even get a glass of water. If you want better service, I recommend going to Jimmys Restaurant on Research Lane. Their service is excellent, and you wont have to wait endlessly for a simple drink. Special thanks to Ginger, Mary, Mitchell, Marie, and Mario for making our meal enjoyable!

Our server Glades was amazing. She was by herself with multiple tables including a 6 top while the manager Virginia did nothing. Glades worked her tail off as she took orders, pre-busex tables, delivered food and was also the cashier. Virginia came from the back to look around and not offer or attempt to assist her. Five star for Ms. Glades and a negative 5 Star for a manager. Food was good. Our server should be promoted and the manager removed. At 633pm the manager walked through rhe sever area aachewing food.

We were there for an hour and a half waiting on our food. We notice our food sitting on the counter for 20 minutes we then decided to leave. As we were walking to the front to pay for our drinks one of the waiters were letting us know our food was ready. After sitting on the counter for 20 minutes we declined that and they told us we didn t have to pay for our drinks. Worst service ever

Hillary the Manager was amazing, very personal with the customers. There was 11 of us and she remembered everything everyone ordered and drank. She never used a pad to write anything down. If we are ever back this way again in the future, we definitely will be back to this location.

Came here while on a weekend road trip. Hillary made it worth it. She knows and does her job very well, and was so pleasant. I enjoyed her conversation, & her ability to connect with the kids and everyone in our big party of 11. Would love to have more people like Hillary when dinning in. Her personality, service skills, and fast service made our whole meal worth it. She deserves a raise & more!! Kid-friendliness: Hillary the GM connected with all of our kids and was so great with them. She made it hassle free and so enjoyable.

Great visit today! I have been a critic of this location some time ago due to service but the last 2 times it has been vastly improved! Prompt, polite, friendly and efficient! We had 3 different servers, including the manager, come and offer a coffee refill, teamwork! Why no 5 stars? They need to do tipping on the before tax amount, while not a huge difference, its the right thing to do for your customers. Service by Marissa C was notable!

Ordered curbside pickup and arrived at the designated parking spot. Had to call 3 times before my call was answered. Then, I was told that I had to come inside to pick up my food (then whats the point of curbside?) When I got back home, they forgot the fruit cup Id ordered for one of the meals. The food was decent. Its just basic breakfast food, but the quality of service and order accuracy left a lot to be desired.

Came on a Monday afternoon with a friend. The waiter most of the time was just usually on his phone watching loud memes on his phone or just chatting with the cook in the back, which I don t really mind because it was slow, not much for him to do anyway. As a server myself, what really bugged me the most was the fact that when he left the food he didn t even ask if we were good or needed anything, he just immediately sped away. Had to call him back, whatever. Was wondering if he could take off the jalapeños because I didn t really remember if it came with it because of how rushed he acted in the beginning. Talked in a sarcastic way when I mentioned it, didn t offer to help change it. Couple minutes later he just sped by, left the receipt on the table and then walked away. Asked for a water, he focused on two other tables and gave them their refill and sorta just paced around a bit. Whatever I guess. Shout out to my fellow Hispanic server. Please be more considerate of your guests :3

Tried the Round Rock location after disappointing meal at the Pflugerville location and keep coming back! The atmosphere among the staff is upbeat and positive, which makes a world of difference in a restaurant experience. Good food, great service, happy staff, good prices. Nice!! I stopped coming here because service is so bad!! I usually go to the one closest to Pflugerville because of it even though this one is down the street from me. Well today it has yet proven the service is horrible!!!! Once again. Waitress had passed me and didn t even ask me if I was ready or if I was being helped didn t even acknowledge me standing at the counter until she was told by manager to take my order. I of courses asked her to get someone else to help so the manager came and I let her know she didn t even apologize for her behavior or anything didn t even seem to care. Just stood and looked at me. I can see why service is bad it starts from the top monkey see monkey do!!! The last time I give them a chance. Mind you in this case the whole restaurant was empty no reason for them to act the way they did.

My friend and I visited early Saturday morning to be told that there was no cook after a cook did show up we were served cold coffee. I told the waitress the coffee was cold she brought the coffee pot to the table and poured coffee in my cold coffee and stated that there was steam from the coffee poured. Ordered online from this fine place, only to have a several items missing. I paid over 100 dollars worth of stuff, for to have 3 desserts some crepes and a drink to go missing? Oh no, never ordering from Dennys again. Ill even tell my enemies not to go to yall, the cook did a poor job with managing the food, my pito de gallo was showing signs of expiration, the burger they cooked was so dry, even my humor is better than that....dry wall. Waiter Abdul was awsome! I was dining alone, so I watched him. He was so friendly, courteous, and respectful to all his diners. He was constantly circulating around his tables, and even when he went behind the counter, his eyes were constantly scanning his tables. When someone wanted something, he responded immediately. Usually we have a really good experience here, but we went yesterday and it was so awful we probably will think twice before going again. We had a very rude and aggressive server who also did not give us the right prices and acted like we were annoying her the entire time. She even sighed and rolled her eyes multiple times while waiting on us to order. She was very rude to my 8 year old daughter asking questions about the menu and wouldnt let her order two sides with her kids meal. We asked about the prices at the end, and she was extremely rude and defensive. We paid cash, and she walked away from the register angrily before we could even give her a tip. Stopped here to get a bite to eat (brunch)since it was close to the movie theater which is 5 mins away. Never got to the food! Told about a 20 min wait which was acceptable for a holiday. Still would have left enough time. However 20 mins passed and several people ahead of us (all parties of 2) are still waiting. Noticed there 2 spots open at the counter and got off the list and sat at the counter. While sitting there heard the person behind the counter telling the staff all meals will take 45 mins to come up. WHY?? To make sure i heard her correctly i call her over and ask and she confirmed 45 min wait after placing the order. It is the 4th of July surely you would think they planned for a lot of people wanting breakfast..NOT! Worst experience I have ever had. The air conditioner was broken but it was early morning so it was bearable. Then it got crowded and it took a while for people coming in to notice that it was getting uncomfortably hot. The staff was upset that it was hot. The food absolutely sucked. My kids wouldnt eat the pancakes which surprised me. This place sucks and the management should have closed the store instead of serving a mess.

I placed an online order Sunday June 16, 2024 on Fathers Day. My wife went to pick the food up, she noticed how poorly the business was operating at the time, and asked the employee about her order. The male employee could not give her an answer. As time went by, after about an hour my wife politely asked two female employees for a refund due to the poor service. They told her(wife) they cant do a refund, mind you my (wife) never received her order. After about another 15 minutes more the employees started putting up closed signs on the restaurant doors with no explanation, and no order. We then proceeded to call the businesses and were told they are closed at 10:30 am, we tried explaining that we placed an order online, but the employee kept hanging up in our face. I paid a great deal of money for a Fathers Day breakfast and left with nothing. Poor customer service!! Those employees should not have a job....

I usually love coming to this Dennys since it is my favorite to come to. My dine in experience is usually always great. I ve ordered from door dash a few times and never have issues. I had called and ask if I could get a side of sauce for my sandwich melt that I had ordered since I paid $35. I didn t think there would be an issue and there wasn t an option for extra sauce (which I definitely have money to pay for because I love the sauce) but a woman answered the phone and proceeded in a very condescending and rude manner tell me I couldn t have any sauce because I had to pay for it. It s legitimately not about the sauce but the principle of how to handle paying customers since I myself run a restaurant of my own. Not very great customer service at all. Even if she had said unfortunately we wouldn t be able to do so because it has to be paid for, and simply just apologized politely. I would have completely understood and went on about my day but instead she tried to make me feel stupid. Very disappointing

Horrible service! Please save your money and do not come here. Servers are rude , food does arrive fast but it s just rewarmed up food or food that has been sitting out for a while. Food was served cold , we asked nicely if we can have to remade and we waited 10 minutes and once it came out to our surprised the plate was the same and they just microwave it , it still came back cold . The hash browns were burnt and raw mixed together. Sausage undercooked. Bacon looked like was prepared and left for later. Server was complacent and didn t really want to help. After we complained, she would never come by to check on coffee etc. Blueberry pancakes were good but she would not give us warm syrup. Thursday 4-18-24. 11:30am

So, we made the mistake of thinking we could get a table at Cracker Barrel on Easter. We had reason to think it would happen - I dont want to talk about it. So, yeah, Dennys was our second choice. There. I said it. You know what? It was a pretty good choice. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. Thats to be expected - it was Easter and they were a bit short staffed. That poor lady running the front of the restaurant - she was the real hero. She was clearly flustered, yet at no point was she rude or short or exasperated. Even while she was clearly exhausted, she was clearly making sure everyone she interacted with was having a good experience. We didnt have to wait long for a table, or to be waited on. Our waitress was very nice - obviously a bit worn out considering how busy they were. For the most part, everything was as we ordered and tasted great. Its Dennys - their food is usually, at the very least, at Hey, thats pretty OK level quality. HOWEVER, my 8 year old daughter ordered a kids breakfast Slam(?) with, among other things, eggs. Except the waitress brought bacon instead of eggs. OK, in the big scheme of things, thats not a big deal. Miscommunications happen. Except this particular waitress (and I need to just reiterate that the entire time, she was still very polite and nice), when told my daughter was brought the wrong item, decided to just go to her notepad as if to basically say Noooooooo, you said BACON! She eventually got the eggs she originally ordered - though we were charged an extra $2 for them. Or, I guess we were charged $2 for bacon we didnt want. Whatever. Anyway, I just wanted to vent. Based on our experience on an extremely busy day for them, this Round Rock Dennys is A-OK.

2024 update:metal shavings in pancakes Claw machine dosnt pay out. Other wise place is ballin on a budget Update 2021: they have done away with the all you can eat pancakes special. this is unacceptable in the land of the FREE!!!! The server was great and on point for everything. I did have a hair in my hash. She took it back and had it remade. I noticed the cooks dont wear hair nets, the gentleman in the kitchen had shoulder-length hair, and was not wearing anything on his head to protect the food. His hair looked greasy and un combed. First plate bacon was undercooked, but the second plate they brought me, the bacon was burnt. If the cooks wore hear nets, Id probably come back, but until then I dont want to eat another plate where theres a possibility of hair being in my food.

Great service, and the food was delicious, too. Definitely hit the spot! Good value for the food, too, depending on what you got. We came at about 11:30pm, so it was low staff, and we waited a little bit to get seated, but the food came out really quickly. It took a few minutes for the Hostess to acknowledge my presence and be seated. The Staff seemed very preoccupied with telling personal stories amongst themselves, rather than providing the customers the proper service. The music was extremely loud and the coffee was cold. Its been a good while we come to eat here. We had family from Dallas visiting and they wanted Dennys. We told them service is horrible. Ever since covid, no one seems to want to work. They lack on servers. They take forever just to greet the table and get drink orders. Which I completely understand, having only about 3 or 4 servers. It can he overwhelming for the servers. The other thing... like every time we go and my son wants to order a milkshake. They are out of ice cream. Or they say they are out! Which I know they are not! They just dont want to make the milkshake! Another reason why we stopped coming! Atleast the last time Which was probably 1 1/2 ago the waitress was straight up honest. She was busy and was the only server on one side and it is time consuming, so she will not be able to make it. I rather hear that anwers than for you to lie to me. And see another server make a milkshake for their table.
