The menu is a confusing mess. The soda was poorly balanced, all syrup and little carbonation. The water tasted like dirt and metal. But the food is beyond excellent! Just order a bottled beverage and be prepared to be blown away!!

Ordered the Fried Chicken hoagie. Took a bite and was chewing RAW chicken!! A family member who was nice enough to buy us a meal, first tried to call Deli Planet to let them know of the situation but no one answered the phone. So she left a msg. Since we were all at the hospital, she said she would be there in about 20 mins. She got a call back from a woman who said she is the owner from the start, without seeing the sandwich, she had an attitude and insisted that she made it herself and it IS NOT raw! My family member told her that she was on her way and would be there in 20 minutes. To which the owner snapped back and said, ANOTHER 20 MINUTES!. WOW!! Great business! The owner told my family member that the chicken is smoked so therefore it is not raw. Any IDIOT can see it is pink and RAW!! Not to mention... its a FRIED Chicken hoagie!!! I didnt even see a smoked chicken hoagie on the menu!!! Just to make things clear, we were using the menu online. So maybe the OWNER should review the online menu AND learn how to COOK chicken! Whether it was smoked, grilled, fried... IT WAS RAW CHICKEN!! I am here from another state and my family has always bragged on Deli Planet and how great the sandwiches are... I think they have changed their minds!!

The sub was pretty substantial, I got the fried chicken and it was great. I didnt order fries because it was too much food and Im glad. Maybe I will order half a sub next time so I can have a side of Mac and Cheese or fries. Beers are $2 and drinks $3 at happy hour. We got there later but hopefully next time we get there earlier. A nice local place to hang out.

The Deli Planet has the best Texas Club I have ever eaten in my life- it is so delicious and I probably eat one a week. Their fries are so good. My husband is a picky eater and he always finds something new and different to try on their huge menu. We love the Deli Planet and love when Jaden waits on us. A while ago I discovered Deli Planet offers online ordering and ever since we have picked up lunch about once a week. Our meals have been on time, correct, hot, and delicious! My fave is the french dip with fries and my husband loves the burgers and tater tots. We have been happy with everything, every time. From the ease of the online order process, to pickup, to the food. When I arrive they make me feel like a long lost friend. Always a pleasure to see the smiling faces!

Decided to have Deli Planet take-out Friday evening, so tried to call in the order. Nope, online ordering only and my wife couldnt get the site to work. I was already driving and went to the drive-thru where a sign on the window had a stupid QR code for online orders and no ordering at the window. Tried QR code twice and error both times. If I start getting spam calls/texts, I will be editing this review which will be negative of course. Sorry Becca I understand your hiring situation but Deli Planet has lost business, unless dining-in.

I had worked for them a some years back and I have always had great food, until today. I always get the regular 16 hoagie, but I treated for a 16 Philly and a treat for me, I also ordered the wicked chicken. The wicked was anything but wicked. The top and bottom bun was burnt. The wicked sauce was barely on the chicken. To be honest, it tasted more like a burnt chicken sandwich. Ill still go back, but it will be awhile.

Ordered classic cheesesteak for pickup. Ordered extra grilled onions and peppers. Not only did I not get extra veggies, I got none!!! Absolutely the worst cheesesteak Ive ever had anywhere. I was somewhat shocked because normally their food is pretty good. The bread was stale and the steak tasted like it had been cooked to death then allowed to get cold and then warmed up. Im pretty thrifty with money but it was so bad I actually threw it in the garbage. You know the old deli was good but not anymore.

Ive been going here for 10 years when Im in town. The people who run and operate this place have always been kind and respectful and the food is what keeps me coming back. When you go into a private business you are their guest. If a restaurant has rules to follow you agree to those rules by going in and spending your money. If you get offended because you think rules dont or shouldnt apply to you. I would recommend growing up and acting like an adult. The world dosent revolve around you and your wants.

Not everyone is bringing their child s outside food in because they don t want to buy from your menu severe food allergies, including FPIES, is a very Serious situation, and is covered by ADA federal law (classifying it as a disability) which overrides local law! I can assure you if those children could order anything off the menu they would! Military family stationed at Sheppard went for dinner at Deli Planet restaurant. Their child has severe food allergies and can only eat certain foods that won t cause the child anaphylactic shock. The owner, Rebecca Leigh Rutledge was very rude about the family bringing in outside food that the child can safely eat. The family would love for their child to safely be able to enjoy dinner inside of any restaurant however the chills can t. Not only was she rude and continuously kept harassing the family, she also publicly added a social media post but didn t state why the family brought in outside food. I suggest that from now on when an incident like this occurs that she does research on ADA laws before she gets a lawsuit. Sadly, this restaurant will lose a lot of business because of how she handled this situation.

The hoagies are surpurb. Every time I m in town I stop in and get a regular hoagie and my dad gets the cheese burger hoagie. The bread is fresh with a slight crisp on the outside. The onions were thinly sliced and just a perfect touch. That hoagie dressing takes the hoagie to a whole nother level. The fries were hot and crispy. The staff was friendly and attentive. Great service, positive staff. I had a BBQ Bacon Burger with curly fries. Everything was hot and fresh, presentation was pretty cool as they pay homage to the military on the walls.

First time trying this place out and it didnt disappoint. I asked the young ladies at the front what they would recommend, they mentioned 2 different hoagies but the one I went with was the Widow maker. Really good hoagie with the right amount of toppings and spices. Will definitely be back to try more hoagies.

First off the food tastes good but I m taking a star off because the parking is ridiculous. Taking another star off because their prices are WAyyy to high, and taking another star off because over the years they re SKIMPING on the meat. I can literally wrap my average sized hand around the hoagie and touch my fingers. If you want a full size thick hoagie with lots of meat go to Firehouse subs. Way better. Sorry Deli Planet. You ve now become greedy with your food and money. You ve lost my business Bye!

I went on line to check out what they had and prices. One item was $8.99, l bought it calling for take out, l didnt notice until I got home that they charged me $11.49 ,l called the manger , she told me l wasnt on the website, please check when you call them , prices subject to change.
